We've been here twice now, and it won't be the last! Highly recommended, even if you live further away! Food: Garlic naan as a starter: how many cloves do they put on it? "Yes!" We had numbers 70 and 67. Both with lamb. Fantastic! Last time we had something with chicken. Also excellent! Atmosphere: not too much, but not too little either. Perfect, in my opinion. Light, relaxed music. Price: very reasonable for the quality!

I'm rating the delivery service. The Curry House in LB has always been our favorite place to order from. They recently moved to Poppenweiler and took over Sangam. Delivery is always super fast, and the drivers are very friendly. So far, we've enjoyed all the dishes. Sometimes the second dish is even half price. It doesn't get any better than this.

Indian vegetarian food here tastes very pleasant and is always easy to digest. I value that. Another plus point is the openness with which they accommodate requests regarding the strength/sweetness of the spices and the amount of sugar. You just have to know how you like it seasoned. Indians are pioneers in good seasoning anyway. Drinks, especially the chai (served in a generous teapot) and mango lassi, are my favorites. The dishes kept warm by tealights, such as those with tofu or paneer, also have a pleasant taste and portion size. I also find the waiter/manager competent. I've visited there several times and am looking forward to the new pizza selection soon.

Very tasty, authentic Indian food (good, slightly less spicy). Freshly cooked and good service, with the neighboring table patiently explaining all the non-German spices and other ingredients when asked.

I've never been there, but I've ordered delivery several times. Whatever I've ordered or what my friends have ordered has been incredibly delicious. The staff are so sweet and friendly, always asking how you're doing and wishing you a nice day, always smiling. Plus, the food is always delivered incredibly quickly! You definitely deserve a good tip!

A touch of India in Poppenweiler – a little vacation every time! I've been to Sangam five times now – and every time I think to myself: Why even drive to Stuttgart, Waiblingen, or Ludwigsburg? This restaurant is a real hit right on my doorstep! The entire team is warm, attentive, and simply in a good mood – the friendliness alone is reason enough to come back regularly. And on my last visit, I finally discovered the outdoor area – like a mini Diwali in Poppenweiler! The food? Authentic, fresh, well-seasoned – and addictive. Every dish transports you mentally at least 6,500 kilometers further east. No joke: After every visit, I immediately want to pack my suitcase and hop on the next plane to India. Value for money? Absolutely fair. And best of all: You leave feeling full, happy, and a little bit ready for a vacation. The bottom line: If you've experienced Sangam, you don't need a long-distance trip – Poppenweiler is perfectly sufficient. 😄🇮🇳

Today, the two of us were here. The chef is cool and very friendly. There's always a good joker on hand. Parking is a bit limited in front of the door. Delivery service is also available. The chef recommended the starter. It was very tasty. The sauces were very tasty. The main course was also very tasty and fresh. We were there on a Friday evening at 7 p.m. We were also the only guests. But it was very pleasant to sit on the balcony and enjoy the weather. Conclusion: I'll be happy to come back to Sangam Restaurant. I can recommend it.

In my opinion, this is the best Indian restaurant in the area. The food is fabulous and can be made spicier upon request. The service leaves nothing to be desired. The ambiance is visually appropriate, and the music on my visit also wonderfully reflected the theme. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, our voucher from the GenussPlus booklet was not accepted because we didn't know that we had to bring the booklet with us. We were dining with five people and were the only guests in the restaurant. I would have expected a bit more leniency.

Unfortunately, the food and ambiance are just OK. I wouldn't go back because it doesn't taste authentic enough. For me, it was a bit oversalted and underseasoned, and the naan was extremely greasy and not fluffy. The portions were also small compared to other Indian restaurants in the area.

Went to the Sangam as a group. We were warmly welcomed and served very nicely at all times. The service was really great. The selection is very large on the menu. The food itself was also good, unfortunately only very mildly seasoned overall. There are a few parking spaces directly in front of the building. Unfortunately the toilet was not satisfactory. During our visit there was no toilet paper or hand towels. The trash can was overflowing.

We regularly eat there and order something. We have now tried most of the things on the menu. My favorite is the Shahin Paneer. The butter chicken is also highly recommended. And for tofu lovers The consistency and taste of the tofu are awesome! Vegetarian and vegan food is possible and delicious. The ambience is great and the service is great! Clear recommendation!

The owner of the restaurant has changed, and since then it tastes much better there and the portions are also larger. The dishes are arranged very clearly on the menu and are also very diverse: there is a large vegetarian section on the menu! The chef responds to requests for different levels of spiciness. The waiter is very friendly, attentive and always has a smile on his face. Gladly again!

Unfortunately we were massively disappointed today. It was our first order since the reopening. What we got has nothing to do with the great Indian cuisine that used to be available. The chicken pakora and samosa weren't really good and the daal tasted like a bland German lentil dish. Unfortunately we won't be eating here anymore. Very unfortunate. Addendum: What you have to give the owner credit for is that he personally contacted us and offered to prepare the food again. We didn't do it, but it speaks for the service.

I have tried many Indian restaurants in the area but none come close to the fantastic experience I had here. The flavors were exceptional, and the spiciness was perfectly adjusted to my liking. The portion sizes were just right and made for a thoroughly satisfying meal. The owner was extremely friendly and welcoming, which gave the visit a personal touch. The atmosphere was wonderful, with a successful mix of comfort and Indian cultural flair. An absolute must for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic and delicious Indian cuisine!

The food is served on a hot plate. Some dishes are vegetarian. If you don't want spicy food and order mild, you can get that too. This is the best basmati rice I have ever eaten. There is also a black tea with spices inside. Everything is freshly prepared and turns out very well. There is always a wonderful soup for lunch. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the service is always friendly, I really like it here.

Criticism unwelcome! Tough, stringy beef (really freshly prepared!?) at No. 253 caused me to return my dish after the third bite. However, the boss did not accept this - after all, "he had already sold the dish out of the house 5 times that day without any complaints, and anyway - I should have reported the complaint after the first piece of meat was eaten." (Note: Shouldn't the waitress usually ask if "everything is OK"?) The subsequent haggling over payment ("after all, I ate something"...) then threatened to become just as tough as the meat before. In short: My wife and I shortened the ignoble procedure, paid half of my meal and ran away. With the realization that the Sangam team has obviously lost its manners and hardly any criticism is expressed (Quote 1: “I don’t care if you don’t come back!” Quote 2: “And what should I do with your food now?”) . Since - apart from the delicious, fragrant rice - the other ingredients (chicken in the second dish, sauces) also left a lot to be desired, we declare our "Sangam attempt" to be a complete failure.

Accompanied by an Indian, I got to know and appreciate this restaurant, which was still in Ludwigsburg at the time. These days in Poppenweiler the rooms are very cozy and it's always nice to eat there. The food is very good and the Indians back then found it very authentic. It's not too spicy because the chef is from North India and you always get suggestions to try something new. After every visit I am very happy and happy to have such a restaurant in the immediate vicinity.

We were there for lunch. It's really a nice and cozy restaurant and the food was super delicious! The price is right and the service was very friendly! Overall, thumbs up and I can only recommend it!

The service was quick and friendly. In my opinion, the atmosphere was a bit sterile and not very Indian. It was worth a visit. But it won't be one of our favorite restaurants.

Schmutzige Fensterbretter, tote Wespen auf dem Fußboden kurz nach Öffnung des Lokals, langsamer Service, Essen europäische Variante von indischer Küche. Warmhalteplatte verschmutzt, wenig Fleisch von billiger Qualität. Preise sehr günstig, Bedienung freundlich. Keine Empfehlung, wenn man gemütlich essen gehen will.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich: lächelnd, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Das Essen wurde schnell serviert und alle Speisen waren fantastisch. Außerdem hatte ich ein Mango-Lassi. Es war so lecker. Ich würde jederzeit wieder dorthin gehen und kann diesen Ort wärmstens empfehlen.

Zum 2. Mal kein Naan, schade! Bereits beim ersten Besuch letztes Jahr war der Ofen kaputt, weshalb es kein Naanbrot gab (unglücklich gelaufen). Heute hatten wir einen Tisch auf 19:30 reserviert und endlich auf ein leckeres Naan gehofft - leider ohne Erfolg, denn es war schon aus. Aus meiner Sicht ein Unding nach 2h Öffnungszeit. Service ist zudem (wie beim letzten Mal) sehr langsam und nicht freundlich, wir haben über 1h auf die Vorspeise gewartet (1 weiterer Tisch belegt). Die Hauptgerichte waren lecker, aber eher teuer und nichts besonders. Die Portionen (vor allem der Reis) sehr klein. Aufgrund des erneut schlechten Services, fehlenden Naanbrots und des durchschnittlichen Essens, kommen wir nicht noch ein 3. Mal.

Wir hätten gerne noch Nachtisch und weitere Getränke bestellt, jedoch legt uns der Chef eine Stunde vor Lokalschliessung unaufgefordert und wortlos die Rechnung auf den Tisch. Sowas hatten wir noch nicht erlebt. Das bestätigte unser Gefühl, dass wir nicht willkommen sind.

Wir waren zufällig in der Gegend, sind hier eingekehrt. Ohne Reservierung einen Tisch bekommen, Service / Eigentümerin wirkte und war eher unterkühlt. Essen war soweit gut, Bestellungen/Wartezeiten normal, keine Beanstandung. Prinzipiell kommen wir auch gerne wieder.

It is food heaven . i visited this place with my family and the food they serve is delicious . Surprisingly they have the best food quality and best service , if i compare it to the number of restaurants i have visited to. 10/10 and yes try this place , its worth.

Wir waren nicht zum ersten mal im Sangam zum Essen. Diesmal sind wir mit dem Schlemmerblock eingekehrt. Die beiden Vorspeisen Linsensuppe und vegetarische Frühlingsrollen waren sowie beide Haupgerichte geschmacklich sehr gut. Die Einrichtung ist gemütlich und ordentlich. Der Service ist etwas kühl. Bestellt hatte ich einen Merlot zum Essen, bekommen habe ich aber einen Württemberger Wein.

Wir waren mit vier Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern zum Abendessen, wir waren die einzigen Gäste. Der Service war sehr unpersönlich. Die Bestellung wurde kommentarlos aufgenommen, die zwei fehlenden Gedecke am Tisch wurden von uns vom Nachbartisch geholt, worauf der Wirt schnippisch fragte, ob wir noch mehr Servietten benötigen. Das Essen wurde serviert, das Kinderspielzeug mit einer Handbewegung vom Tisch gefegt. Aber jetzt kommt der positive Teil der Bewertung. Das Essen war hervorragend, wie gewünscht scharf, mittelscharf oder mild. Die Qualität der Speisen macht Lust auf einen weiteren Besuch.

Wir waren hier zum wiederholten Male zum Abendessen, dieses Mal in einer Gruppe.Das Essen ist sehr lecker und ist sehr zu empfehlen. Sehr guter und freundlicher Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

My wife and I tried this treat of Indian Food as a change from our “usual” restaurant. WOW were we surprised by how good it was! I hope everyone comes here for dinner. Definitely need to have Naan with the Entree.
