An unserem letzten Tag in München, bevor wir zurück nach Singapur flogen, unternahmen wir einen Tagesausflug nach Landshut, einer wunderschönen mittelalterlichen Stadt in Bayern. Wir wollten unseren Gaumen vor dem Heimflug noch einmal mit asiatischen Spezialitäten verwöhnen. Bei einer kurzen Google-Suche stießen wir auf das Tanda Palace. Wir bestellten Chicken Biryani und Fischcurry, Mango Kulfi zum Nachtisch und Gewürztee. Service und Atmosphäre waren meiner Meinung nach hervorragend, da die Besitzerin sich erkundigte, ob wir mit dem Essen zufrieden waren. Die Tische waren großzügig angeordnet, mit viel Platz dazwischen. Und nun zum Wichtigsten: Ich war sehr zufrieden mit dem Chicken Biryani – es war so authentisch wie zu Hause. Das Fischcurry war zwar geschmacklich und frisch in Ordnung, aber wir hatten uns eine Zubereitungsart wie in Singapur vorgestellt: eine weniger dicke, weniger süße Soße mit kräftigeren Gewürzen wie Zimt, Anis, Nelken und Tomaten (ohne Kokoscreme). Eine ähnliche Erfahrung hatten wir vor einer Woche in Madrid mit Fischcurry gemacht. Daher kann ich nur vermuten, dass dies die europäische Art der Zubereitung von Fischcurry ist. Ein weiteres Highlight ist der Gewürztee – samtig weich und mit einem herrlichen Gewürzduft. Die Mittagsmenüs bieten ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Definitiv ein empfehlenswertes indisches Restaurant in Landshut, Bayern (gemessen am Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis).

Das Essen ist sehr gut, kommen seit Jahren her. Die neuen veganen Gerichte mit dem billigen Tofu schmecken allerdings schrecklich. Leider gibt es auch keine Vorspeise mehr. Sehr schade. An sich ist der Service gut, aber mir scheint wenn die Chefin nicht da ist, sind die Herren tlw überfordert. Mussten letzte Woche 15 Minuten nur auf die Karte warten, obwohl nicht viel los war. Dann kamen allerdings 3 verschiedene Herren und wollten unsere Getränke aufnehmen... Sanfte Hintergrundmusik gibt es leider nicht immer, wäre schön, da man die Gespräche so besser ausblenden könnte am Nachbartisch. Bitte knüpfen Sie wieder an früheres Niveau an, dann werden es definitiv wieder 5 Sterne.

Ich habe mir das Essen liefern lassen und kann mich nicht beschweren. Das Essen kam überpünktlich, warm und hat gut geschmeckt. Ich kann es sehr weiterempfehlen. :)

Ich war heute zum fünften Mal dort und das Essen war wie immer köstlich. Der Service war erstklassig. Ich hatte die Hausspezialitäten und war total begeistert! Das Beste daran war, dass ich danach keinerlei Magenprobleme hatte, was das positive Gefühl nur noch verstärkte. Das Essen ist einfach frisch und lecker und wird wirklich von Grund auf selbst zubereitet. Ich komme wieder. Der Service war exzellent und die Atmosphäre gemütlich.

Ich konnte leider keine Fotos machen, da das Essen zu gut war. Ich liebe indisches Essen, aber leider erlebt man oft, dass viele indische Restaurants geschmacklich eher enttäuschen und das Essen nicht besonders gut gewürzt ist. Im Tanda Palace ist das ganz anders: Das Essen schmeckt für mich wirklich authentisch. Man merkt, dass hier mit echten Gewürzen gearbeitet wird — alles ist sehr aromatisch, geschmackvoll und aus frischen, hochwertigen Zutaten zubereitet. Ich gehe hier schon seit 3 Jahren regelmäßig essen und komme extra aus Regensburg mehrmals im Monat nach Landshut, nur um hier indisch essen zu gehen. Leider haben die indischen Restaurants in Regensburg für mich stark nachgelassen, aber im Tanda Palace schmeckt das Essen wirklich jedes Mal köstlich. Besonders toll finde ich, dass auf individuelle Wünsche eingegangen wird. Wer gerne sehr scharf isst, bekommt hier auch wirklich scharfes Essen und nicht nur eine „deutsche Version“ von scharf. Die Knoblauchsuppe ist ein absolutes Gedicht. Der Chef ist sehr sympathisch, aufmerksam und wirklich bemüht, dass man sich wohlfühlt. Ich wünschte, sie wären in Regensburg – dann würde ich wahrscheinlich mehrmals die Woche kommen. Für mich eine ganz klare Empfehlung!

Bin total begeistert von diesem ausgezeichnetem indischem Essen. Sehr gastfreundlich und sauber. Super Portionen zu fairem Preis. Ihr werdet es nicht bereuen, wenn ihr in dieses Lokal zum Essen geht.

Durch Zufall haben wir dieses Restaurant entdeckt. Und wir müssen sagen, selten haben wir so gut gegessen. Im Lokal war es sauber, und wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Die Preise sind sehr fair, und die Portionen ordentlich. Gastfreundschaft wird hier groß geschrieben, alle waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Chef war bei uns am Tisch und hat sich erkundigt, ob alles in Ordnung war. Wir haben uns lange, und angenehm ausgetauscht. Da ich sehr gerne scharf esse, ist meine Wahl auf die gebratene Ente mit einer scharfen Soße gefallen, hier kam ich auch an meine Grenzen. Geschmacklich war es ein echter Highlight. Für uns ist es sicher, daß wir beim nächsten Besuch in Landshut, dort wieder Essen möchten. Ich kann dieses Lokal unbedenklich empfehlen, wer indisches essen auf hohem Niveau mag, sollte dort hingehen. Danke für das tolle Essen und eure Gastfreundschaft. Wir kommen wieder.

Essen um 11:20 bestellt zum liefern kommt um 13:00 uhr an während der Arbeitszeit man musste weiter arbeiten und konnte sein essen nicht essen sehr enttäuscht dafür das man oft bestellt hat und als entschuldigung kam nichts

Lieferung Wir haben vor der Bestellung telefonisch nachgefragt, wie lange die Lieferung dauern würde. Uns wurde am Sonntag ca. 45–60 Minuten genannt. Am Ende hat es jedoch über zwei Stunden gedauert, erster Minuspunkt. Außerdem haben wir bereits am Telefon sowie online (inkl. Notiz !!!!) darauf hingewiesen, dass eine Tomaten-Unverträglichkeit besteht und diese unbedingt weggelassen werden müssen. Trotzdem waren im Gericht meiner Partnerin wieder Tomaten enthalten….das war leider nicht das erste Mal. Somit war das Gericht für sie unbrauchbar Mein eigenes Gericht (Chicken Tikka Masala) war geschmacklich gut, jedoch befand sich ein Hühnerknochen darin, an dem ich mir beinahe den Zahn Ausgebissen hätte. Bei der telefonischen Rückfrage wurden wir zunächst angeblöfft, warum wir „nicht reingeschaut“ hätten. Wir hatten natürlich reingeschaut, die Tomaten waren aber erst beim Umrühren sichtbar. Nach mehrmaligem Hin und Her wurde uns angeboten, das Gericht zu stornieren und bei der nächsten Bestellung ein kostenloses Gericht zu erhalten. Das wäre akzeptabel gewesen, wenn solche Fehler nicht bereits mehrfach vorgekommen wären

Haben ein paar Tage in Landshut verbracht und waren zum erstenmal indisch Essen. War alles sehr lecker, Service freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Sehr gutes Essen ! Wir waren heute Abend spontan im Tanda Palace und waren begeistert. Nach einem Weihnachtsmarkt Besuch sind wir quasi über die Straße und wurden superfreundlich begrüßt und bedient. Die Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte hatten alle am Tisch überzeugt. Gerne wieder. Top.

Heute das erste mal bei Tanda gegessen. Die Gerichte haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Alle waren sehr freundlich zu uns, deshalb haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Danke für den schönen Abend!

Ich hatte indisches Essen bisher nie ausprobiert und war vom äußeren Eindruck des Restaurants zunächst nicht überzeugt. Dank des Gutscheinbuchs haben wir es dann doch getestet - und waren begeistert! Innen erwartet einen ein wunderschönes Ambiente, das man von außen gar nicht vermutet. Das Essen ist unglaublich lecker, das Personal aufmerksam und freundlich. Inzwischen waren wir schon mehrfach dort, auch mit Familie und Freunden - alle waren begeistert. Selbst Arbeitskollegen, denen wir das Restaurant empfohlen haben, waren überzeugt. Absolut empfehlenswert - für uns ist es das beste indische Restaurant in der Landshut!

Das Tanda Palace ist für mich eines der besten indischen Restaurants in Landshut. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll und sorgt für eine gemütliche Atmosphäre. Ich gehe regelmäßig mit meiner Freundin oder mit Freunden dorthin, weil das Essen einfach immer hervorragend schmeckt. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, man merkt, dass es wahrscheinlich ein Familienbetrieb ist. Auch wenn die Mitarbeiter manchmal etwas verpeilt wirken, geben sie sich wirklich Mühe und fragen regelmäßig nach, ob alles passt. Insgesamt ein sehr sympathischer Ort mit leckerem Essen und tollem Service.

A wonderful evening - very friendly family business. We were served extremely courteously. Highly recommend the “Paneer Tikka Marsala” and it was probably the best naan bread we have ever had. The tandoori chicken was also to die for. We'll definitely be back soon - thank you!

The food was delicious, unfortunately the man who served us could hardly speak German and out of 6 orders (3 people with 2 orders each, drink, main course) 3 were wrong and he then wanted to accuse us of ordering the wrong thing. In the end he even wanted to settle what we had let go back. We noticed the same problem at the next table. It's been a few weeks, but I had to calm down before the review. A young man who served us in between was far better, took the order with good German and also brought the right ones.

Reception was very nice, free choice of table. We decided to take the one at the back so we could see into the room. On the positive side: The food was very tasty and sufficient. The desserts were also very good. The wait for the food was ok. Didn't take too long. Negative: Next to our table the heating/ventilation runs all the time, unfortunately a very annoying background noise. Service was ok, only the waiting time after the meal left a lot to be desired. No one asked if we wanted something more to drink and no one came to pay the bill either. They only came to pay when asked. Oh well: Decoration could be adjusted a bit. In each corner a different color is made over the lights. Seems a little restless.

Our dinner started with the most delicious, delicate Pakora I can remember eating, and the mango vegetables and dal were also very tasty The staff were attentive, friendly and helpful even though we arrived very late just before closing time. I highly recommend eating here!

Typische Einrichtung. Personal freundlich und spricht sehr gut deutsch. Die Speisekarte umfasst die üblichen Gerichte. Von den Aromen her authentisch und Schärfegrade gut dosiert. Portionsgröße in Ordnung. Preise normal. Gerne wieder.

There were four of us in the restaurant today and we got a very nice seat. The care and the food were great. The restaurant is very cozy and clean. Also the toilet. What excites me personally because it shows that the operators really pay attention to cleanliness. Some restaurants in Landshut, which are very overrated, can learn a lesson here. I don't know why some people complain about the service. People always asked if everything fit and if you needed anything. I think we accidentally stayed there a little longer; we stupidly didn't pay attention to the opening times, which I'm very sorry about. Even as a guest you should want to go once in a while, especially when the shop closes. But for some guests it goes without saying that the restaurant stays open later. Because other people's evenings are uninteresting. It's a shame that people think that way. And the hospitality is taken advantage of. So all in all, a great atmosphere and very good food. Thank you for the lovely evening.

Wonderful authentic Indian cuisine. I ordered palak paneer and loved it. There was nothing wrong with the service either - friendly, attentive, quick. There were seven of us and we had a lovely evening and I will definitely be back.

Discovered the restaurant by chance. The food was very tasty, the service was very friendly and the rooms were very clean. We had 108/Tanda special plates (various types of meat) and 181/Navratan Korma (vegetarian) with rice. Additionally a starter plate and daal (very tasty). We'd love to come back.

Food was very tasty, service was very good, even overly friendly. Unfortunately the bill was too high, which really annoyed me afterwards. We paid €47 with a voucher book, so one dish would have been free (€15.90 + €3.50 + €2.90 + €5.90 + €5.50 + Max €7.90 = €42 max) . Aperol wasn't on the menu, but it won't have cost more than €7.90. No bill, just cash.

We just discovered the Indian and were pleasantly surprised. The food was very tasty, if the waiter forgot something, they brought it straight away and apologized. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the service is friendly and accommodating. We can only recommend it.

Slightly hidden restaurant between Dreifaltigkeitsplatz and Grieserwiese... cozy, beautiful outdoor area. Drink prices are cheap for today's times. There's little to complain about about the food - but the prices are pretty standard considering the quantity. The only thing I would have expected was a question about whether you wanted to drink something else when the glasses were obviously empty. Definitely more tasteful than the competitor around the corner in the best location in the old town.

Das beste indische Lokal in Landshut! Wer die indische Küche liebt, ist hier richtig. Sehr sehr nette Inhaber, alle Vorspeisen und Hauptspeisen schmecken sehr lecker. Das Restaurant ist gemütlich. Wir können dieses Lokal absolut weiterempfehlen. Wir waren mittlerweile schon so oft im Tanda Palace. Für uns der beste Inder den wir kennen! Alle Naan Brote (mit Knoblauch oder Käse) schmecken sehr sehr gut, auch die Knoblauchsuppe und ebenfalls alle Hauptgerichte. ( Mal was anderes: süße Mangosauce oder Palak Paneer) oder Klassiker: Chicken Tikka. Der Service ist wahnsinnig aufmerksam und so freundlich! Tipp: indischen Tee probieren!

We've been there a few times. The food is good. The staff friendly. Unfortunately, almost every time there is something that doesn't fit... Sometimes the wrong drinks are brought, sometimes the naan bread is forgotten and the bill amount has unfortunately not been correct several times...

The food (we only had vegetarian dishes) was really excellent. The service, however... I had reserved for three people, but no table was prepared for that. I wasn't allowed to choose a table for four people, so I was seated at one for two people. The third place setting was not initially served. When the starter came and I asked for my third place setting, the cutlery was carelessly thrown the wrong way from the other side. Then we were offered a larger table and we moved. It took a relatively long time for the food to arrive. During the meal we asked a few times if everything was OK. Not after dinner. No dessert, no coffee, even my empty glass went unnoticed. There was no one around who could have taken an order. When someone at the next table cashed in, we took the opportunity to pay. There were three male service staff present. The place wasn't full. A young waiter had itching in his genital area.

Unfortunately, never go there again! I've been to the Tanda Palace several times 2 years ago and was always satisfied back then. That's why I went there with friends yesterday. Unfortunately, compared to the early days, it has a lot! subsided. The food came before our drinks (after about 5-10 minutes). Food itself was ok, nothing special. The fact that the waitress knocked over my carafe of spritzer, well, that can happen. Absolute no go: we ordered an Aperol Spritz afterwards (the waiting time was incomprehensibly long). Got Aperol with water. So diluted Aperol-Plörre. We complained about this immediately. We were then given another shot of Prosecco in our glasses (there wasn't much room, we only took a small sip). Of course, this was a rather homeopathic amount and did nothing for the taste. I then left my drink standing. Now for the absolute impudence: the drink was charged. Even though I pointed out that it wasn't drinkable and it was still sitting there untouched. Absolute joke: I put down the banknote and receipt without comment. Of course I don't want to give a tip, but at 7.20 euros for the drink it was more than deserved. The question comes: what did you say? As if I should please give a tip too. No, it doesn't work that way. In case the question arises: 3 service staff, approx. 10 guests. And something else about a hygienic aspect. The toilet seats have definitely been there since the beginning. They are no longer intact and therefore unhygienic. There are enough other Indians in Landshut. Really not here anymore.

My favorite restaurant in Landshut when it comes to Indian food. Always very tasty and nice service. Once when I had to wait a little longer, I got a free mango lassi. Highly recommended!
