Delicious food, great service and nice atmosphere.

Hello We went there this evening and each ordered two steaks. She ordered a fillet steak Mine a rum steak I ordered mine rare and my friend's medium. The first time, my steak was cooked medium and hers rare. The waiter then realized his mistake and took it back. After about 20 minutes, we received our "corrected order." The same mistake again. I spoke to the waiter, and he told me that they always do it that way. Of course, I had to pay the full price even though we didn't eat anything. It's a disgrace. I can't recommend anyone going there.

The food was delicious, fresh and served hot. The house wine paired perfectly with the meat. The service was very attentive: my knife had fallen on the floor, and I immediately received a clean one without having to ask... we'd love to come back!

Breakfast is excellent. We didn't like the dinner as much, as the portions were quite small (we thought). However, we'd be happy to come back for breakfast. The price-performance ratio here is very good.

Maybe Talys wants to improve. The quality of the food has declined. The burger meat was killed twice and was dry. The burger buns were cold, old, and not even briefly caramelized. The server came back after exactly 3.5 hours to ask if we wanted another drink because he wanted to turn off the coffee machine. Have they started vacuuming the place while there are still customers? 9:30 p.m. on a Friday evening and the good cleaning lady is telling everyone with a Kärcher vacuum cleaner, "It would be nice if you paid now and left." Is it normal to bring a different drink than ordered and only tell them when asked that they don't have what was ordered? Unfortunately, the service staff (students) are untrained, but hey, everyone has their say, that's not a problem. 0.2l of Coke, or half a glass at this price, is outrageous, sorry. Some of the cocktails are cheap, though. We made the best of the evening. Oh, and in case anyone cares. The car tuning scene and various car show-off guys are constantly doing laps around the Talys, often with oriental music and sometimes 6 to 10 laps per vehicle, but the Talys can't do anything about that, the passage should simply be closed.

As always, everything was very good, the food and service were top-notch, we come here often....

We ate here with several work colleagues and were all thrilled with the food. I had the beef ribs – the meat was extremely tender and flavorful. The desserts were also a highlight, especially the cheesecake. It was so delicious that I immediately ordered several slices. I can absolutely recommend this restaurant for its taste – we would come back anytime. There is one small negative point, however, regarding the service: Some colleagues left tips when paying, but unfortunately, the waiter didn't thank them. In my opinion, that's good manners and would have rounded off the positive overall impression. Conclusion: Top-notch cuisine, but there's still room for improvement in the service.

A good restaurant in Kleve with a clear and delicious menu. We had a pizza, a burger, and a bruschetta as a starter. The food was good, but the pizza's crust-to-surface ratio was extremely large, so much of the dry crust (sometimes 7-8 cm wide) was left unfinished – the middle part with the meat, sauce, and cheese was quite small. The burger's freshly made fries were barely seasoned and hadn't been fried long enough. The Texas burger is worth recommending – really great. The bruschetta was also very tasty. The price is at the higher end. For a meal for two, with three drinks in total and an appetizer for both, it costs almost 60 euros – I find that pretty steep. The staff are all friendly – but sometimes they forget your order, so you have to keep asking when your ordered Coke will finally arrive – honestly, people? That doesn't have to be the case. Otherwise, it's clean, from the semi-open kitchen to the upholstery, the restaurant, and even the restrooms—everything's perfect. The design of the old industrial building is certainly up for debate, but in my opinion, it's nothing special—we eat there, after all.

The food is sooooo good 👍. The service is very attentive, and I really like the ambiance. You can really indulge yourself there, and the price/performance ratio is absolutely fine. I really enjoy going there.

We had lunch there for the first time today and ordered bacon-wrapped fillet from the lunch menu. Everything was very relaxing. The food was delicious, the fillet cooked to perfection, the bacon crispy (I always wonder how the chef does it so well 😋). Delicious fries, great mayo (homemade?), tasty salad (limited, it was just the lunch menu). 5 stars for everything ⭐. My highlight was the service, a young woman who danced through the restaurant from table to table! The service was friendly and professional, but her manner gave us an extra dose of good cheer, and it was free 😄. We really recommend it.

The chicken in the sauce was delicious, the steak was too tough and the portion was small, and there were no grilled vegetables such as peppers or zucchini, and the soup was delicate and not well seasoned/child's portion.

We ordered pike-perch fillet and lamb shank. Both were delicious and beautifully served. The setting was very nice.

Very nice inside, the terrace is actually very nice. The only annoying thing is the yobs who think they have to show off their exhausts to the guests as they drive by. It's really annoying. The food was okay, nothing mind-blowing, but not bad either. The service was great, the staff were friendly and accommodating. We've also had breakfast here before, which was also very good; nothing to complain about.

For us, it's the best restaurant in Kleve. So far, we've never been disappointed. The food is delicious and high-quality. The service is always excellent. We even held a small party there with 22 people, and everything went perfectly. Definitely recommended.

We've been there several times after shopping at the mall next door 😄. It's beautifully located, and the seating is lovely both inside and out 😺

Tonight I was very dissatisfied. The salad was good, but unfortunately the pieces of meat were so stringy they were impossible to cut with a knife, let alone chew. No apology was received for my complaint. I was offered an espresso as compensation, which I politely declined. I had to pay the full price.

After two positive experiences at breakfast, we wanted to try the à la carte lunch menu at Taly's in Kleve. Unfortunately, the visit was disappointing overall. We ordered two sirloin steaks with rosemary potatoes, shallots, and garlic, each cooked medium-rare. The dish was attractively served on a hot cast-iron platter – the first impression was promising. However, when we cut into the steaks, it became apparent that both were significantly overcooked – closer to medium-well to well-done. We pointed this out to the server, whereupon the chef also came to our table. Communication was in English, which was not a problem. In the ensuing discussion about the degree of doneness, neither the server nor the chef showed any understanding. We pointed to the large blackboard above the kitchen, which clearly shows the different degrees of doneness – including medium. The chef responded with the sarcastic remark that he must have been trained in the wrong way. An objective discussion was hardly possible. Nevertheless, we gave the restaurant the opportunity to make improvements. A new steak was prepared, this time with the agreement that it should be cooked medium-rare, as the chef recommended this would be more in line with our expectations. However, this second dish was again medium-well at best. Overall, the taste was only okay – neither particularly aromatic nor particularly tender. We ultimately accepted the meal to avoid wasting even more food. Regarding the side dishes: The so-called rosemary potatoes consisted of four tiny potatoes, served with unpeeled shallots and unpeeled garlic, not even halved – unsatisfactory in both taste and presentation. We paid the bill, including the tip, as the server was not responsible for the problems. However, it was inappropriate that the chef and server in the front office area, within earshot, were making fun of the situation. There was no apology for the inconvenience. At €37 per person – excluding drinks – the meal was nowhere near worth the price, in our opinion. Conclusion: We won't be visiting Taly's Kleve again for lunch or dinner. The breakfast buffet is okay—worth coming for. Everything else, unfortunately, didn't impress us.

I was there yesterday at 11:30 a.m. I had to wait for my friends. We were supposed to be there at 12 p.m. A table was reserved. The waitress was very friendly. She showed me several tables to choose from. Once my friends arrived, we ordered food. We noticed that it was getting busier around lunchtime. The waitress was very well-managed, even though she was the only one. Her friendliness was so impressive for all of us. A little later, a male server joined us. The food (I chose something from the lunch menu) was very tasty. However, I was a bit shocked by the prices on the regular menu. A baked potato with salad and dip was €15.90. It used to be €8 or €9. I personally find that a bit steep. Hence only 4 stars.

The restaurant is easy to find. There are plenty of parking options through the EOC, which is located in the immediate vicinity. The food was very tasty. The atmosphere has a rustic style and is very inviting. The service was satisfactory, friendly and helpful.

Vriendelijk personeel, eten goed voor ons niet echt geweldig. Maar wel om een keertje te doen voor de ervaring. Wij hadden wraps en Hamburger, wel goed maar niet teveel smaak, wel (voor ons,) veel teveel.. Flinke porties. Mvg, Leo en Isa.

Hier findet man eine konstante gute Qualität. Ein sehr authesches freundliches Personal, verdammt gute Köche, gemütliches, gepflegtes Ambiente und man fühlt sich immer willkommen. Danke tali's!!! 😀

The breakfast buffet during the week for 15.90 and on the weekend for 18.90 is really impressive. It's more like brunch. In my opinion, there is nothing that is missing. Really great!!!

I was a regular customer, but not anymore. The breakfast buffet is good, but when I go out for breakfast, I don't want packaged sausage that I also eat at home. But what I find really outrageous is the cake. I was there one afternoon, ordered a piece of cheesecake, a purchased product that was worse than the discounter and I think that €4.00 was a disgrace! Which I think is a real shame, because the people there are incredibly nice and the atmosphere is great. But if I want to treat myself to something, the products should also be good

Very good breakfast, but also the food according to the menu (something for every taste) is highly recommended. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, even when we visited spontaneously despite the well-filled restaurant there was still a place prepared for us. Price performance is not right! Food is way too expensive. 7€ for a cheesecake with a diameter of maybe 6cm? At the beginning we were served fairly attentively until we got our first drinks, after which things declined drastically. After a while we were made aware that our table was needed... An alternative table was not offered. We felt extremely uncomfortable and left. We probably won't visit Taly's anymore.

I was there with my family for breakfast. Breakfast buffet. Lots of choice, there really is something for everyone. The rolls were fresh and the entire buffet selection of cold cuts, cheese, yoghurt and warm dishes were freshly prepared. We always checked whether it needed to be refilled and the staff was super friendly and explained the process to us very well and answered all our questions. It was our first time there but definitely not the last time.

Wir haben heute zum ersten Mal bei Talys bestellt, essen konnte nach 20 min abgeholt werden. Was soll ich sagen!!! So schlecht haben wir schon lange nicht mehr gegessen, der Salat auf den Burger war schon so matschig und faul das man es riechen konnte, das Brötchen war vertrocknet am Rand insgesamt war es es richtig schlecht, mein Mann hatte schnitzel bestellt das so trocken wie Mehl war , die Zwiebeln waren abgebrannt. Für das Geld hätten wir besser zur pommes Bude essen gehen können. Nie wieder Talys, wir sind total enttäuscht.

Great atmosphere, food comes quickly and is super tasty, friendly staff.

Very Very Bad The shop is very small, you feel like you're sitting back to back to the person sitting next to you because as many guests as possible have to be spread out over 50 square meters. This makes it almost impossible to sit comfortably and eat if someone stands up behind you and gets bumped because there is no space. The background noise is really no longer normal, it was very loud in the shop, you had to hear some of the other guests' conversations because they were shouting so much. The fact that the employees might point out that there are other people in the store who might want to enjoy their food with less noise doesn't seem to be that important. It's okay to have a conversation, but if it's so loud that you have to listen unintentionally, that's a bit too much. Thanks to the nice hobby alcoholic grandmas who seemed to entertain the entire store without any consideration for others, you really spoiled the evening for my girlfriend and me, including the guy from the next table who had to lick his girlfriend's neck and make noises like a Neanderthal giver has. The end of the song after ordering a coke that I didn't even touch, we left again. First and last time there… Unfortunately I have to give one star👎👎👎 you deserve zero...

Great restaurant, considering that there was previously a shoe factory / elephant shoe, and what has become of that part. Great. Everything is right here. Highly recommended. Definitely not the last time there.

The taste is ok. But there are a few things to keep in mind if you really insist on coming here to eat. 1) The amount of food is stingy considering what you pay for. I ordered a lammhaxe, but the potatoes that came with it were like 8 pieces only. Very disappointing. I had to eat half of the pizza after finishing my lammhaxe in 10 minutes. 2) The pizza was so greasy! In the end, you're not full, but you just don't want to eat anymore. 3) You pay for ketchup and mayo (€0.8 each!!!) when you order a €16.50 burger. This is ridiculous in an overpriced restaurant like this. 4) The waiter led a couple to sit in between 2 families, both with a very young kid (1-2 years). Very strange. I won't come back in the future for sure.

Great and beautifully designed location. The staff are very friendly, but could be a little more attentive when it comes to empty glasses on the tables. The quality of the dishes we ordered was very good and attractively prepared. Gladly again!

Food and drink were quite good. Unfortunately, we were often ignored by the employees. Then we just went up to pay and left: who doesn't pay attention to whether the customers want to order something, despite waving and calling. Well then, you better go.

What does a vegan do in a steakhouse? - There's definitely a funny answer to that. We like to have breakfast here and have been there several times for lunch or dinner. Now in the warm months with the dog only outside. There is always a water bowl there. (1 point deducted for the ambience because we often had to pick up shards outside that were lying in corners on the hedges, behind lamps and on the side. Of course it was better that we saw them first and not the dog...). As a vegan you can find some really good "side dishes", otherwise we have often ordered a main course without meat, but with another alternative.

Haven't gotten any scrambled eggs from the lecture yet. It was ice cold and they apologized for that. The rolls are also not recommended. Dry and chewy. We won't be coming back again. Too bad

It's yeah what should I say okay. Only my food came late while my table companions had already finished and my food was tough and fries were also tough. I also don't think staff who work in sweatpants are very appropriate as staff. Wasn't really pleasant.

We sat on the terrace early in the moderate weather, so it was a bit quieter. But we enjoyed Cappuccino, coffee and flamkuche.

Touring Europe from Canada. The food was wonderful (schnitzels).Our young-fraulein waitress was very kind, helpful, pretty and attentive. She did her best to communicate with us in English. We really liked her. The dark-haired waiter who took our payment was rude (finger-wagging when USA cards wouldn't work - we eventully paid cash) I left a 10€ tip under my beer-stein for the waitress (whom seemed to disappear at the end), I hope she received the tip - not the man. He lowered the review from 5 stars.

Hmmm, difficult rating...the service was quite friendly and attentive, the breakfast buffet tasted quite good. Unfortunately, the buffet was refilled very slowly, the dishes were not labeled, the staff were usually not at the buffet and therefore many things were not edible for allergy sufferers. From start to finish there was a jam at the coffee machine and most of the dishes were dirty and the cutlery wasn't checked for cleanliness after the dishwasher. The decoration, even directly above the buffet, was very dusty and the menus and their stands had not been cleaned for a long time. It's a shame, so much more could be done.

Reserved outside (30°) and that worked well. The beer glasses were chilled but the beer was still a little too warm. The dishes ordered were okay. My farmer's schnitzel was a bit too thin and therefore difficult to cut. The fries were in the fryer too long, dark. Price/performance ratio for the schnitzel is too high. Update February 2024: After the VAT increase, prices here also shot up. Charging 7.90 euros for a large bottle of water is USURY!!!

Salmon burger was dry. The sauce on the burger was also stingy, the top half of the bun and the salad had no sauce. I don't have to have it again. Fries mediocre.
