Ich habe mir heute spontan etwas zum Abholen geholt und war sehr zufrieden. Das Paneer Masala mit Reis und Naan hat gut geschmeckt und war für ca. 13 Euro wirklich sättigend. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier absolut. Während der kurzen Wartezeit wurde mir zudem ein Mango-Lassi aufs Haus angeboten. Der Service war super freundlich. Vielen Dank!

Das Essen ist gut, aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist ausgezeichnet. Zum Curry gab es Salat, Reis und Naan.

⭐ 2/5 Ich war von meinem Besuch im Taj Mahal Magdeburg enttäuscht. Das Essen war geschmacklos und wirkte weder authentisch noch gut gewürzt. Leider entsprach auch der Service nicht meinen Erwartungen. Das Personal wirkte unaufmerksam, und das gesamte Esserlebnis war unangenehm. Ich hatte sowohl beim Essen als auch beim Service eine deutlich höhere Qualität erwartet. Aufgrund meines Besuchs kann ich dieses Restaurant nicht empfehlen.

Wir haben am Pfingstsonntag noch sehr spät sehr lecker gegessen - und es war ausgesprochen preiswert! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das ganze Besuch war wirklich top. Das Essen ist super lecker und auch zu einem fairen Preis. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und man bekommt einen kleinen Mango Lassi zur Rechnung geschenkt. Das Ambiente ist wie in den meisten indischen Restaurants in Deutschland. Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt: Die Speisekarte ist meiner Meinung nach zu überladen. Es würde besser sein wenn man die Karte etwas kürzer und strukturierter gestaltet.

Kaum etwas veganes dabei. Essen kam sehr zügig - waren aber auch die einzigen im Restaurant 152 ist schon ein bissl dolle scharf dafür, dass es nicht gekennzeichnet worden ist. Das Daal war mega wässrig und sehr gemackslos. Das Naanbrot war mit dem Thymian drin echt eklig. Mango Lassi wie immer lecker

Mango-Lassi und Gemüsesamosas eignen sich hervorragend als Vorspeise. Als Hauptgericht ist Dal Makhni sehr zu empfehlen 🔥🔥🔥

Ich hatte hier ein wirklich tolles Erlebnis. Das Essen war schmackhaft und frisch zubereitet, besonders die Currygerichte. Die Bedienung war höflich und aufmerksam, und die Atmosphäre war angenehm. Die Preise sind für die Qualität angemessen. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder.

Hallo. Ich habe heute bei euch bestellt. Der Lieferant kam viel zu spät . Zudem war in der bestellten Suppe kein Hühnerfleisch. Was mich aber am meisten aufregt ist, dass ich euren Lieferanten extra gesagt habe er soll anrufen! Ich habe zwei ältere Großeltern und wollte sie nicht wecken aber ihr inkompetenter Lieferant war wohl nicht ermächtigt lesen zu können. Ich wünschte ich könnte eure Bewertung mit der negativen auf unter 1 bringen. Bestellt hier bloß nichts per Lieferung.

19:42 bestellt, Essen kam 22:35, 1/3 Preisnachlass, Essen hat geschmeckt und war heiß

Ich warte jetzt seit fast 3 Stunden und erreichbar ist auch Niemand. Nie wieder !!! Edit: Die haben auch jetzt das Telefon abgestellt und man kommt gar nicht mehr durch. Ich habe es von verschiedenen Nummern getestet und nicht mal ein Freizeichen, Nichts. Edit 2: Essen kam nach knapp über 3 Stunden, es kam nicht mal eine Entschuldigung. Darüber kann ich aber hinwegsehen.. worüber ich nicht hinwegsehen kann, dass ich statt meinem vegetarischen Paneer - Fleisch bekommen habe. Das Essen war dazu noch so extrem scharf, dass ich die Hälfte wegschmeißen konnte. Der angekündigte Salat war auch nicht dabei (dies war schon die letzten Male so gewesen, aber in Kombination mit diesem Essen was so extrem scharf ist einfach nur ärgerlich) Ich hab zwar das Fleisch rausgesucht aus dem Essen, aber dadurch dass es so scharf war, war es ungenießbar. Wir lassen nicht gerade wenig Geld wenn wir bei euch bestellen, aber das das zu 100000% das allerallerletzte Mal. Da bestell ich lieber beim Namaste (große Empfehlung meinerseits) oder das Maharadscha.

Leider sehr langsamer und unaufmerksamer Service. Wir saßen an einem Tisch, der von den vorherigen Gästen mit Krümeln hinterlassen wurde. Es hat eine halbe Stunde gedauert bis wir überhaupt eine Speisekarte zu Gesicht bekommen haben und 1,15h bis wir die ersten Getränke erhalten haben. Das Essen hat allgemein gut geschmeckt mit guter Würze und die Getränke waren stark, jedoch hat sich unser insgesamt 4-stündiger Aufenthalt eher durch Warten ausgezeichnet als durch gute Gastronomie oder Gastfreundschaft. Wenn sich die Abläufe im Restaurant und die Kommunikation innerhalb der Belegschaft verbessert, kann ich mir vorstellen, dass das Restaurant gut performen kann.

Das Chicken Tikka Masala war gut, das Butter Chicken Curry hingegen eher durchschnittlich. Für den Preis hätte ich bessere Saucen erwartet. Insgesamt kein schlechtes Restaurant, aber von vollen fünf Sternen weit entfernt.

Es war Katastrophal Situation. Essen war schrecklich...Butter Chicken hat nur süß geschmeckt. Kaum Gewürze nur süß... Kellner war unfassbar..unfähig glaube ist er auch Besitzer. Beim Bezahlung..Erstmal ohne Rechnung nur summe... Wechseln Geld nicht zurück gegeben. Wenn ich eine Rechnung verlangt habe und kontrolliert...habe festgestellt das wir mehr bezahlt habe als wir bestellt haben. ..Er hat extra Getränke gebucht und uns Kassiert hat. Fingerweg von dieser Restaurant. ...

Das Essen war okay, aber wir fühlten uns beim Bezahlen betrogen! Das Kartenlesegerät akzeptierte angeblich unsere Karten nicht, obwohl wir gegenüber im Lidl mit unserer EC-Karte bezahlt hatten. Der Besitzer bestand auf Barzahlung und sprach plötzlich kein Wort mehr... furchtbar! Wir haben mehrere Karten ausprobiert...

Absolut furchtbar, wird indischem Essen überhaupt nicht recht.

Heute um 19:00 Uhr bestellt, Bestätigung per Mail kam um 19:04. Stelle ich gern online, sollte jemand meinen es ist Diffamierung. Nun ist es 21:43Uhr und das Essen ist noch nicht hier. Der Fahrer meldete sich vor 45 Minuten und sagte, es dauert noch 10-15 Minuten. Telefonisch nachgefragt und meine Unmut kund getan, das Wetter wurde vorgeschoben - eine Entschuldigung gab's nicht. Nachdem ich meinte, bei über zwei Stunden Lieferzeit wäre ein Anruf einfach mal angebracht gab's noch ein kurzes "Hallo?" und aufgelegt. Ein Rückruf ist nicht erfolgt. Über die Qualität der Speisen kann ich leider keine Auskunft geben. Wer hungrig ist und indisch mag, sollte eventuell Alternativen suchen.

Absolut furchtbar. Das Essen kam nach insgesamt 2 Stunden (!) geliefert und war nicht mehr warm. Nach etwa 1 Stunde heißt es am Telefon, dass der Fahrer in 2 Minuten da sei. Daraufhin eine weitere Stunde warten. Das Essen wurde nicht an die Tür gebracht sondern am Eingang abgestellt. Besteck ebenfalls nicht dabei. Der Service ist eine bodenlose Frechheit und Liefergebühren sind Abzocke. Dringend abzuraten!!

Wir haben gestern Abend bei Taj Mahal Essen bestellt über Lieferando. Das Essen kam über 30 Minuten zu spät, was ja nicht so schlimm ist. Die Behälter waren mit Nummern versehen, was zu Verwirrung gesorgt hat, da in den Online - Karten keine Nummern aufgeführt werden. Da alle Essen relativ gleich aussahen, war es schwierig, alles zuzuordnen. Wir hatten ein vegetarisches Gericht bestellt, leider enthielten alle Gerichte Fisch bzw. Fleisch! Des weiteren fehlten Salate, die offensichtlich nur bei Lieferando nicht enthalten sind, obwohl dies die teuerste Option war. Hab dann direkt im Geschäft angerufen (hauptsächlich wegen des fehlenden vegetarischen Gerichtes) Der Mitarbeiter am Telefon war mir gegenüber leider sehr pampig und nicht kulant, es gab keinerlei Entschuldigung. Schade, aber so werden wir dort nicht noch einmal bestellen, obwohl das Essen soweit gut war

Das Essen war lecker aber das Ambiente ist nicht schön. Am schlimmsten war das das Restaurant bei Aussentemperatur von Minusgraden innen nicht beheizt war . Wir haben mit Jacken dort gesessen und gefroren .

We order from there very often, and the food has always been delicious and plentiful. This time, however, we were there in person – and unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The preparation took forever, and that was just for two dishes and a portion of fries. The menu stated that all dishes come with bread and rice. However, I only received a couple of hard breads, which were absolutely not enough. I asked beforehand if the dish was spicy and was told, "No." In fact, it was very, very spicy and barely edible. When I pointed this out, all I got was the answer: "Is it spicy? No, it's not spicy." – very unprofessional. Overall, I was really disappointed and won't be coming back. It's a shame, because I actually loved the chicken there, but the service was unfortunately very poor. The only good thing: The place is very clean.

Hervorragendes Essen. Die Taj Mahal Platte für 4 Personen ist sehr zu empfehlen für hungrige Gäste. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das Essen war reichlich und gut. Hätte mir einen anderen ( selbstgemachten?) Dipp für die Vorspeise gewünscht ( süßsaure Soße gibt's in jedem Supermarkt). Personalrat freundlich. Die Lage an der Hauptstraße ist zum draußen sitzen doch recht laut.

Bestes indisches Restaurant im großen Umkreis. Sehr leckeres Essen, nette Bedienung und ein einladendes Ambiente. Es gibt auch vegetarische Gerichte und hier ist für jeden was dabei für einen mehr als angemessenen Preis

We didn't like the Indian food there at all. Unfortunately, because we love Indian cuisine. One of the listed phone numbers didn't work, but the second one did, but the person on the phone spoke very unclearly, and the service on site was also lacking in friendly manner.

We had a table by the window, unfortunately overlooking the Aldi parking lot. Well, there are worse places. The seats were comfortable and good. Service was fast and friendly. The food was great! We had the leftovers packed up! Prices were the same as 10 years ago! Very good! The only downside: the music was too loud.

The food was truly delicious, especially the chicken tikka starter. The naan bread was just what you'd expect from many other places, and the mango lassi was amazing! We highly recommend this restaurant!

Ordered food for 11 people today. Everything was finished within 45 minutes. For the last 5 minutes of waiting we were treated to a delicious mango lassie. The food was packed in standard aluminum boxes and partially coated cardboard boxes/cans. Everything was well locked. We didn't leak any of the many boxes. The food was very tasty and the portions were really big. If I saw it correctly, none of us finished our portion - even I only managed half of my Vindalo after the starter (see photo). (And I occasionally order 2 pizzas from the Italian restaurant). Can I eat again tomorrow 🤗 The ambience could still be worked on a bit. It is very obvious that a Greek restaurant previously occupied the premises. At least the card displays in front of the restaurant with the inscription "Greek specialties" (meaning that, I didn't remember the exact wording) could be removed in two easy steps. Nevertheless, we will definitely order again as it was very tasty. We had a great birthday evening.

In the restaurant: I think more staff is needed. Online ordering distracts from restaurant service. Staff undoubtedly friendly. But the system could be significantly better. Food was tasty.

Actually not even 1 star, all tables were occupied, which is very good, but there was only one waiter in the entire restaurant who couldn't keep up. Sorry, but more staff definitely needs to be planned. We waited almost 2 hours for our food, which sometimes came wrong and had to be waited again. We had ordered for 8 people and we were seated at a table for 6. Sorry, but they won't see us there again!

We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. We were made to wait for more than an hour for our food, and the staff was extremely unfriendly and unprofessional. Despite multiple inquiries, we received no updates regarding the status of our order. Eventually, when we asked again, the staff still failed to provide any information and, to our surprise, asked us to leave. Such disrespectful behavior and poor service are unacceptable. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The atmosphere was fine. But the people are very rude. They don't respect their customers. We were waiting for our food for approx. 1 hr. When I asked them when we will receive the food they kept on saying few minutes but it never came. So we just left the place. They even told us to get out. The customer service was worse to the core. I went to the restaurant with my friend group and I had to wait 1 hour and I didn’t get the food still then I just walked out with all my friends and the people there are too rude and don’t know how to talk with the customer the place is trash don’t go there whatsoever.

Hey, we ordered delivery, it was delivered clean and very hot, there was a mistake but it was quickly fixed after the call and report, we were able to keep everything... I can't say anything about the ambience... I didn't find any vegan sauces.

We ordered directly on their website, where it says that the dishes come with rice, naan bread and salad. But now naan bread and salad were missing and when we asked over the phone we found out that there was only one side dish left. There is nothing about this on the site and the prices have remained the same. There was no solution... we are very disappointed and have to say that this restaurant has lost us as (regular) customers

Very generous portion for the price, free salad and small mango lassi on top. It couldn't be better.

It's been a long time since I've had such a good Indian meal! Starter salad, bread and lassi included. Large selection, generous portions and very good quality. Served in a friendly and quick manner and absolutely inexpensive. Absolute recommendation!

We order our butter chicken with naan bread there at least once every month. Unfortunately, things are getting worse from time to time. The food is undoubtedly tasty, but unfortunately it is no longer as intensely seasoned as it used to be. For us, that’s what Indian food is all about. Although our butter chicken tasted delicious, it wasn't heavily seasoned as usual. Unfortunately, the naan bread that we still order twice no longer has the same taste as it once had. In addition, the food has decreased since moving to another property.

We were amazed by their food and service. We ordered chicken soup, all tikka mix(it contains 6-7 chicken and lamm tikka pieces) as appetizers. For main course we ordered chicken tandoori (it contains 2 leg 2 thigh pieces, one portion rice, one nan bread), we also ordered an extra butter nan and 2 colas. The food was absolute delicious, right amount of spices, the portions were huge and the staff behavior was really appreciable. They have a salad corner from where you can take unlimited salad which was a +1 for us. At the end they give is two complementary mango lassis which was very tasty. Overall we had a very good experience. We recommend the place to visit💕

The chicken didn’t taste like it was even cooked thoroughly, I felt really sick after eating here. I would not recommend eating here at all and I eat Indian all the time. This is just not the place to do it! Service was really nice but not worth the food 😅

There was no scampi, normal shrimp dish 136 stinks! Only spicy, missing the typical Indian spices, dish 106 lamb mango - more pineapple than mango in the sauce, quite flatly seasoned, missing India. The meat from the leg is firm and dry - tough, pre-cooked and warmed in the sauce! Should a test dinner become an anniversary. Failed - I cook myself

Delivery service is underground, after more than an hour no food, multiple calls have changed nothing, there was no promised call back either, stay away!!!

We were really considering only giving two or one star because we really waited 2 hours for our food. First it said 20 minutes, then 30 and then 49 minutes. If you're hungry, it's really an unbearable time for 2 hours to wait for the food, but the food was so tasty that's why we still give it 4 stars and will try again to see if the delivery works better otherwise we would be here correcting it again with the stars at waiting 2 hours or longer for the food That's not a nice point and what's also a shame is that one loaf of bread was unfortunately forgotten by three people and unfortunately two loaves of bread were with them.

Recommended by a friend, unfortunately very disappointing. Eating way too spicy, cheap meat, more cloves and cardamom than rice. Ambience = 0. However, we were served quickly. Too bad! Next time again to Maharaja Palace on Klausener Straße. The service is better there, the boss is friendly and you're not sitting directly on the main street.

Best place to have indian food in Magdeburg.

The food is really tasty. And the staff is really friendly, they serve food like family. We always have a really good experience at Taj Mahal restaurant.

The ambiance was warm and inviting with beautiful Indian decor. The service was top-notch with friendly and attentive staff. But the main star of show was the food! The spices were perfectly balanced and taste was awesome. If you are in Magdeburg and want to try Indian cuisine then do visit this restaurant. You won't regret it!!

That was definitely the last time I ordered food from there today. Called around 4:50 p.m. because everything on Lieferando is extremely expensive and only kebab is offered for delivery online. Placed the order, provided the address and then had to wait. The food was ordered at 7 p.m. 7:30 p.m. first inquiry about where the food was: after I gave my name and address, they said the food was on the way 7:50 p.m. still no food, same statement, the food will be there soon At 8 p.m. suddenly no one knew anything about the order and a piece of paper appeared spontaneously. It said 5€ discount or no food at all (we ordered for 6 people) Even though they were incredibly rude, we agreed because we were hungry and wanted to eat at all At 8:35 p.m. food finally arrived, but it was more expensive than on the menu (no flat rate, everything was more expensive) and no receipt That was definitely the last order, we waited forever and then the manager of the store gave us a stupid shout-out Thanks, I'll order somewhere else and skip it!

Eating takes some getting used to

Ordered food at 9:49 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. It's now 1:20 p.m. and the food for 4 people still hasn't arrived. Not interested in sales? That was definitely the last time.

We ordered here during our lunch break. The delivery was over 1.5 hours late. No notification, no apology. But the food was warm and tasty.

Unfortunately, despite booking a table, we didn't have a pleasant evening. Apparently there was a service company in the house that day who couldn't fix a problem. So the restaurant remained closed. No rejection despite existing email address and telephone number. Very unprofessional.

The butter chicken tasted like half a kilo of sugar had been put in there.

Unfortunately, the interior work was done by the Greeks who were there before, but a star deduction for ambience. But the food was great. Value for money in my opinion too. Since I'm in Asia for work, I have direct comparisons. The chai is great cinema. Chicken Biryani highly, highly recommended. The tandoori dishes too. Vegetable pakora (cauliflower) wasn't quite as good, but the rest of the pakora mix plate was very good.

At first I was skeptical, then pleasantly surprised. Wheat for an incredible €3.90. There are still traces of the predecessor everywhere, a Greek. But Alexander was already in India. So it fits again. Service and food were good. My personal first ever with an Indian.
