Super delicious food with fabulous spices. Extremely friendly boss and cook. Cozy on the Hassel, a little out of the way but still central. Prices completely reasonable. We always come here now.

Great service. The owner is very friendly and his hospitality is top tier. Ordered Paneer butter masala and it was one of the best i‘ve had in a while. Their Garlic Naan is also a must. They close at 10 pm but they were okay with us staying 30 mins longer so that we could finish our dinner. Overall a great experience.

I have been at the place many times and the veg biryani offered here is absolutely tasty and must try dish. Apart from the food, the owners are quite friendly and treat the guests in very good regards. Much recommended place for people who would like to taste authentic Indian food.

The food is very tasty. Very good spice flavors.

We were warmly welcomed and served. Drinks and food didn't take long to arrive. The food itself was really delicious. Upon request, we were served homemade chili, which also tasted good and gave the whole thing a good spiciness. Price/performance ratio was perfectly fine. The only negative point is that the ambience is not very appealing, especially from the outside, where it could give a little more of a cozy feeling. Otherwise we can definitely recommend it.

I recently dined at India Haus, and it was fantastic. The food was incredible, with rich flavors and authentic spices that transported me back to India. Each dish, from the butter chicken to the naan, was crafted perfectly. The warm ambiance and friendly staff made the experience even better. If you’re craving genuine Indian cuisine in Germany, India Haus is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

We (5 Indian people, 1 German person and 3 children) ate here this week. We were more than disappointed with the food. As a starter we had Paneer Pakora, Lamb Kebab and Chicken Kebab which were only lukewarm. We had mango lassi and lassi to drink, which were warm, but the taste was not good at all, especially since they were ready-made products from the supermarket. All of the dishes we chose had the same curry sauce (Indian gravy). Spinach Paneer was with curry sauce, spinach and paneer, Paneer Korma was with curry sauce and paneer. Then we had lamb curry and chicken curry. These dishes only had curry sauce and then lamb or chicken. After the meal there is usually Indian sweets, but unfortunately that wasn't available.

Great authentic Indian restaurant with a very friendly owner. Little insider tip: ask for his freshly made Bhatura (see picture). It's not on the menu and is a more delicious version of naan.

Today we ate at India Haus for the first time through neo taste. The food was very tasty and authentic. It is prepared fresh every day and each curry sauce has its own twist. The service was extremely friendly and we had a good time. And we really enjoyed it and we'll definitely be back!

This restaurant cooks delicious hot and flavorful food upon customer request. We ate here and were offered a luxurious-looking dessert regardless of the menu. The price-performance ratio is 100% right. That doesn't mean it's cheap but the experience is worth it. The family is very nice and makes everything fresh. We had a great time and had long, in-depth conversations with the owner.

The best chicken biryani I've tried in Germany! You will be served and cooked your food with fresh ingredients directly by the owners of this restaurant (the restaurant is owned by a lovely Indian family who are always interesting to talk to). I recommend this place for a cozy atmosphere and a top-quality Indian food!

We were there on Sunday afternoon and ordered paneer tikka masala and dal makhani. It was horrible, the taste was similar to the packet food we get from stores. I felt like they just reheated it and served it. 40 euros was a waste of money. I told the person serving us that it tasted just like a packaged meal, he just joked about it and left. I'm pretty sure it was a packaged meal.

If you want to fill your stomach and hearts at the same time, you'll not go unfulfilled.. A very kind and sweet couple who treats you like a guest and not just a customer.. Go and experience a small Indian family with a little kid but with a big heart and yummy cooking skills! PS: On one of the random afternoon visits, we even got to play games with the kid who heroically entertained us with his quizzical mastermind while in parallel assisting his parents casually around the restaurant <3

I haven't had such a bad Indian meal in a long time! The restaurant is very simply equipped. That wouldn't be a bad thing if the food was very good. Unfortunately, that's not it at all. The price-performance ratio is the crowning achievement! No pappadams and no salad beforehand, you also had to order and pay for the naan bread separately! The table was dirty, the bill was shown on the tablet, there is no receipt. The naan bread was reminiscent of biscuits, but they certainly hadn't seen a clay oven in their short lives! The highlight is the drinks menu, where you can choose between red or white wine. Dry or sweet is probably a matter of luck here. This is where you should pay attention at the latest. Unfortunately, India Haus is the worst restaurant I have visited in a long time and I have eaten in many Indian restaurants. I have no idea where the 4.3 stars from the previous reviews come from.

So glad we found this place! We had the chicken tikki masala, butter chicken and garlic naan. All three were fantastic! The owner was very welcoming and lovely to talk to. Zwei Stunden Fahrt hat sich gelohnt! Wir haben heute das vierte mal eine zwei Stunden Fahrt auf uns genommen, um das India House in Magdeburg zu besuchen. Das Restaurant wirkt äußerlich sehr einfach aber das Essen ist erste Klasse! Bestellt haben wir uns Butter Chicken curry mit garlic naan und wir können es einfach nur weiter empfehlen! Serviert wird das Curry mit einer riesigen Portion Reis, den man für das würzige und geschmackvolle Curry auch braucht sowie extrem zarten Hähnchenfleisch! Die Preise sind ebenfalls angemessen. Für zwei Butter Chicken Currys sowie zwei Portionen garlic naan Brot und zwei großen Getränken haben wir um die 40€ bezahlt! Falls etwas nicht ganz geschafft wird, packt der Besitzer das Essen kostenlos und professionell in Aluminium Behälter, die man sich Zuhause noch gut warm machen kann! Alles in allem sehr underrated und verdient viel mehr Kundschaft!

Loved it, it felt really authentic and the food was actually a lot, we shared a main dish and a starter with an extra side of naan and it was enough for two people, would recommend sharing two dishes for three people. The naan was lovely. Order extra if you must.

Essen war wirklich Top und nicht zu teuer! Großer Chicken Salat, naan Brot mit Dip, Chicken Curry mit reichlich Reis und zwei große Fanta(0,4) für 32€! Die Bewertungen aufgrund des schlechten Ambientes sind nichtig, da das Restaurant bereits fertig renoviert ist inklusive neuen Möbeln. Der Gastgeber hat ist wirklich sehr nett und berät einen auch, wenn man noch nie indisch gegessen hat darin, was einem schmecken könnte. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die Außendarstellung könnte etwas besser sein. Die außen hängende Karte mit durch gestrichenen alten Preisen und auch das Gesamtbild müssten genau so einladend und professionell aussehen, wie das Essen!

Hab mir dort indisches Essen abgeholt. Restaurant ist von der Einrichtung her nicht der Reißer, aber es ist sauber. Das Essen war sehr reichhaltig und lecker, hätte aber sogar noch schärfer sein dürfen (Madras). Preis war fair und der Küchenchef sehr höflich und nett. Habe sogar, auf Nachfrage, mein Bhatura bekommen.Ich komme gern wieder.

Nach den teilweise schlechten Rezensionen sind wir positiv überrascht. Wir wollten es Mal ausprobieren, weil mit authentischer Küche und einem familiären Betrieb beworben wurde. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten 2 Aperol Spritz, die waren riesig. Die Samosa waren in Ordnung. 2 Stück von solider Größe mit Tamarindensoße. Ich kann nicht beurteilen, ob sie selbstgemacht waren. Sie haben aber gut geschmeckt, sogar etwas pikant. Als Hauptspeise hatte ich das Butter Chicken Masala mit Naan, mein Partner das Chana Masala mit Reis. Mein Essen war sehr lecker, aber nicht so scharf, obwohl ich darum gebeten habe. Dafür habe ich zwei frische grüne Chili bekommen. Das fand ich sehr freundlich. Die Portionen waren riesig, eine cremige Konsistenz, eine schöne Farbe und auch der Käse war top. Das Naan-Brot war ok. Etwas trocken vielleicht. Das Essen meines Partners war hervorragend. Der Reis war super. Zart, geschmackvoll und fluffig. Die Kichererbsen waren gekocht, also nicht aus der Dose. Den Unterschied schmeckt man sofort. Dem viel gerügten Ambiente muss ich zustimmen. Allerdings ist es ein kleiner Familienbetrieb und das Restaurant befindet sich im Souterrain. Die Damentoiletten waren nicht so sauber, das stimmt. Aber für uns hat der Rest überwogen. Kurzer Hinweis: die Preise auf der Google-Speisekarte sind veraltet. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert. Wir kommen wieder.

Das Restaurant ist ein Familienbetrieb und die Bedienung wirklich außerordentlich freundlich! Das Ambiente ist derzeit zwar noch etwas ungemütlich, aber es wird gerade renoviert & viel liebe in den Gastraum gesteckt. Das Essen ist lecker :)

Ambiente einer schmudligen Bahnhofsvorhalle im Restaurant. 2 verschiedene Gerichte sahen nicht nur gleich aus, sondern schmecken auch identisch. Viele Gerichte auf der Karte sind nicht verfügbar.

Als wir gestern da waren, waren wir der einzige Tisch. Die Kellner haben zu 2 die Bestellung aufgegeben und trotzdem wurde das falsche Essen gebracht. Wir haben geschlagene 1 Std auf das Essen gewartet und dann saß ich da und habe alleine gegessen weil der Rest nicht kam. Das Essen an sich war ok. Wir sind dann gegangen und wollten nicht mehr warten.
