Clear recommendation - it has become our regular restaurant since our first visit! The hosts are incredibly friendly and the food is perfect every time. All the dishes we have ordered so far have been very tasty, whether vegetarian, vegan or with meat, everyone can find something to suit them. I don't understand the good reviews here - the welcome was very nice, everything else was unfortunately less pleasant. Female waitress brought the wrong dish (we took it anyway, but pointed it out in a friendly manner), no apology, rather grumpy. Both meals were quite oversalted rather than flavorful. Unfortunately one of the worst Indians I've ever been to.

We went to the Taj Mahal for dinner yesterday. The service was very nice and friendly, we had reserved the table in advance. As a starter there was Nan bread with 3 different dips. Since we wanted to try different things, we chose number 44. (Tandoori grill plate) The waiting time for the food was pleasantly short. The food was ok, but the meat was way too dry. The cooking time was probably far exceeded here. The rice, vegetables and sauce were good.

Bro, this Indian restaurant is next level! 😍 The food? Simply on point. The butter chicken was so creamy, I almost cried. 😭 The spices were just right – not too spicy, but still a flavor explosion. Naan bread? 10/10, would recommend. But here it comes: the service was to die for. The people there are so friendly, it's like you're eating at your Indian grandma's. 🫶 The atmosphere was also really cozy – perfect for a chilled evening with friends or for a date. In short: if you don't go there, you're missing out. Big vibes, people! 🌟

I was recently at the Taj Mahal in Rosenheim and the chicken curry was a real treat! The chicken was as tender as butter and the sauce was tasty, but not too spicy - just how I liked it. The service was really friendly and gave us great advice. The Stubb was very friendly, you immediately felt at home. I'll definitely come back, the food is really satisfying! I can only recommend it to anyone who wants to try something a little different!

I recently visited the restaurant and I have to say that the chicken biryani there is simply unbeatable! It is without a doubt the best biryani I have ever tasted – and I have tried many Indian restaurants. The spices are perfectly balanced, the rice is fluffy and flavorful, and the chicken is incredibly tender. You can tell that the cooking here is done with a lot of love and dedication. I have never enjoyed such a delicious biryani anywhere in Rosenheim or anywhere else. Absolute recommendation for anyone who loves authentic Indian cuisine!

My favorite restaurant and by far the best Indian in Rosenheim! I go to Taj Mahal EVERY DAY during my lunch break. And often again in the evening. You will be welcomed by the friendly family that runs the restaurant. You come in and find a place of peace that allows you to switch off from the stress of work. Added to this is the gigantic food. I eat chicken tikka masalla with garlic roti almost every day. And I like it better and better every day. On the days that I'm not there, I notice that something is just missing. Definitely try it out; it's worth it!🫶🏻

I love it here! There is a lot of vegan selection. Insider tip: Vegans of Rosenheim regulars' table always on the 2nd Wednesday of the month with vegan mango lassi and vegan paneer 🤤😉

We were at the restaurant for a group event! The vent was planned beforehand and count of guests , kids were shared . Food menu was agreed too. However the food was below expectations. What soured our experience further was the indifference and lack of welcome from the restaurant proprietors, we felt as if we were unwelcome! While the ambience of the place very nice, food and service can be improved . I will go with average rating.

I would actually like to give 6 stars, unfortunately that's not possible. Taj Mahal is always my first thought when I want to order food :) The team is super friendly and personal if you have already ordered several times. So a clear recommendation and in my opinion, the best Indian restaurant in the Rosenheim district ☺️

Absolute recommendation! If you want to enjoy representative Indian cuisine in Rosenheim or the surrounding area and haven't been here yet, you're missing out. We were there for lunch and chose a place outside. Inside it is very authentically decorated as you would expect for an Indian restaurant. For dinner we had chicken tikka massala and king prawns in Rajastan style, served with basmati rice. We also ordered a naan bread. Both the chicken and the shrimp tasted very fresh and good. The sauce for both dishes was extremely good, nicely seasoned and you could also taste the freshness of the spices. An absolute culinary delight in terms of taste. In addition, the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

The food was good and plentiful, tasted good and also suitable for vegetarians. Unfortunately the service was a bit overwhelmed. We took the rest that we didn't eat with us, unfortunately the 3 different dishes were all thrown together. I didn't think that was very nice because I don't feel like eating this mush anymore. For me this is a huge payoff

We're travelling through Rosenheim and came here by chance. Don't miss out on this amazing food! I've eaten a lot of Indian food in Europe and this has to be the best, tastiest and well seasoned food of all! The food is a true sensation, and super reasonably priced (if not on the cheap side). The service is great and the couple (owners?) are so kind. Not sure why the 1 star reviews but seeing as those are from years ago they must have really improved a lot.

One of the best restaurants in Rosenheim. The food is delicious and wonderful. We ordered chicken biryani and Hyderabadi biryani and they were amazing, and the butter chicken was amazing. Their service is very excellent and they are very nice and cooperative. You are ashamed of their service and behavior towards you. Wir kommen regelmäßig hierher zum Essen. Das Essen ist qualitativ sehr hochwertig und die Auswahl an Gerichten groß. Besonders der Service ist hervorzuheben, immer super freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente ist einladend und die Einrichtung mit vielen indischen Details und schönen Gemälden. Wir kommen auch zukünftig weiterhin gerne her.

Wir wurden von absolut lieben und sympathischen Gastgebern empfangen und mit sehr lecker und frisch zubereitetem Essen bedient. Es hat an nichts gefehlt und das Ambiente ist auch sehr gemütlich. Komme gerne wieder.

Es ist echt Traurig was die als Essen servieren... Habe mich gefreut auf gutes Essen und dann kamen Gerichte mit Null geschmack und so zähem Fleisch das ne Schuhsohle noch leckerer gewesen wäre... Ambiente ist in Ordnung.

Durch Zufall sind wir hier eingekehrt und wurden sehr positiv überrascht. Der Service war ausgezeichnet. Wir wurden sehr gut beraten. Und haben es nicht bereut hier angehalten zu haben. Wir sagen vielen Dank für die ausgezeichnete Vorspeise und das leckere Hauptgericht. Wir können es nur empfehlen Vielen Dank

Wir konnten uns erst gar nicht entscheiden, weil die Auswahl so groß ist. Was wir dann bestellt haben, fanden wir dann aber sehr toll. Einer der drei Dips unserer Vorspeise war nicht so unser Fall, aber Geschmäcker sind nunmal verschieden!Die Gerichte waren alle sehr ansehnlich und lecker. Wir kommen definitiv wieder un noch mehr zu probieren!

Schönes Indisches Restaurant, das Personal auch sehr freundlich, die Einrichtung war auch einladend, man hat sich wohlgefühlt. Das Personal alle aus Indien was ich schön fand. Das Essen war auch lecker wir waren sehr voll danach. Gerne wieder.
