Maharadscha in Rosenheim

Yesterday we had dinner with friends at the Maharajah for the first time. We had a wonderful evening with delicious food. We were served very attentively and no wishes remained unfulfilled. In the Maharaja the guest is welcome and this is clearly shown to him. We would love to come back and are looking forward to visiting again.

As always, we ate deliciously, chicken bartha and mint tikka. Highly recommended.

As soon as you walk in, the store exudes a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The decoration is lovingly designed and you can tell that attention is paid to every detail. The food is always to die for! The butter chicken was deliciously creamy and full of flavor. The naan was freshly baked and the rice had a great flavor. The staff were so friendly and attentive - you really feel welcome here. Simple place, unfortunately the food isn't that great and the portions are also very small, in fact afterwards we went to eat a sandwich, excessive price for what we consumed... they also had problems with the receipt which they didn't want to give... not recommended

I have to admit, this store deserves 5 stars in every way. The shop owner personally warmly welcomes his guests with a very friendly and honest demeanor that immediately builds sympathy. You can tell that it's not an act, the owner is really charged with positive energy throughout, even after repeated visits. The atmosphere and decoration in the store are impressive and ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. As a customer you are very valued and warmly received and served. It makes you feel like a VIP guest and a bit surprised because you don't experience it in this form in other stores ^^ The food is served like a work of art and tasted really good. The rice is added free of charge and impresses with its taste and quality. I am very impressed and will definitely go again.

We always enjoy coming here. For us it is the best Indian restaurant in Rosenheim. Here you feel as if you are on holiday in India - great ambience, musical background, peace and very tasty food with great spices - simply a pleasure. We were again very well looked after and had a lot of fun with the service staff. We think it's nice when there's time for a short conversation at the table. This is much neglected these days.

A family business that has only existed since 2023. As soon as you enter, you are greeted by the fresh scent of jasmine, the colors of the furnishings are reminiscent of an Indian spice market that appeals to all the senses. The reception was very friendly, the service unobtrusive and yet present. The food is amazing. I have to say I've never had such good Indian food and if it hadn't been so late we would have definitely stayed longer. Must try...Halwar Gajar.(I hope I spelled it correctly) Priced also in the normal range. And as an insider tip, if you're lucky you'll sometimes meet one of the Rosenheim Cops here.

What really stood out positively was the service. The man who served us was very friendly, attentive and proactive, you can tell that someone is passionate about it. The food came warm and was very tasty. My personal recommendation: butter chicken with naan. The ambience is also excellent. I've eaten a lot of Indian food, but this shop fascinated me so much, the best Indian restaurant in the Rosenheim district and in Bavaria! I now come here every other weekend with my wife and four children to eat the delicacies of this Indian cuisine. Only to be recommended!!!!

I eat 99% of the food at home and have it delivered to me. The food has always been good and I have no complaints. When I'm in the restaurant, I just go for all-you-can eat, whichever is good and fits the ambience of the restaurant.

We were often asked whether we still had any wishes, whether everything was okay and whether the food tasted good. The questions weren't just thrown into the room, but you can tell they really care about the opinions of the guests. The food was great! Recommendation: Maharaja Thali for 2 This is the perfect place to try out different Indian dishes. (On request it was only prepared for us with chicken) For vegetarians there is also a thali that is definitely just as good. We had a great evening for two yesterday. (my friend's birthday)

As soon as you walk in, you feel like you're standing in the middle of India: the furnishings (typically Indian kitschy :)), the smells and the super-friendly, attentive staff. Even as a vegetarian you have a very large selection and the food tasted incredibly good. I can especially recommend the dessert for those with a sweet tooth :)). Price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. I definitely recommend it!

The waitress was very helpful in explaining the menu and took the time to make recommendations. What was particularly positive was that special requests were taken into account, such as adjusting the level of spiciness of the dishes. Eat: The heart of the visit was of course the food, and it was simply fantastic. As a starter I chose the classic samosas, which were crispy and spicy filled - a perfect start. For my main course I chose the Lamb Madrasi and was not disappointed. The lamb was tender, the sauce rich and perfectly seasoned, with a wonderful balance of acidity and sweetness. The dish was accompanied by fresh naan and fragrant basmati rice. Conclusion: If you are looking for authentic Indian cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere, you have come to the right place. The dishes are fresh, aromatic and artfully prepared, and the service is first class. I will definitely come back and recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for a real taste experience.
