Taj Mahal in Bad Bramstedt

I was expecting delicious Indian food, but unfortunately I got a dish that was really inadequate for the price. Unfortunately, I can't say anything good about the service, as the staff didn't really act in a customer-friendly manner with us. All in all I wouldn't recommend it unfortunately...

The food arrived after an hour, when we tried the butter chicken we unfortunately realized that it wasn't cooked through and tasted like rubber, apart from that the sauce was absolutely useless. We then contacted the restaurant, whereupon they discussed with us for 10 minutes that it couldn't be the case and that we were making it up. In the end they agreed to a new delivery, but only in an hour and actually wanted €1 extra because this time we wanted lamb instead of chicken, and seriously insisted that I should repackage the previous dish and give it back. I then decided not to order a new delivery and threw away the food that could hardly be described as eating. All in all, I can't recommend anyone who expects service and good food to order or eat here. Really unbelievable... I've never experienced such impudence, apart from that we both felt sick after eating...

All the foods we bought from them were delicious and hot, and they were fresh, and the variety of foods is very large and the price is reasonable.

We came specifically on a normal working day, but the shop was closed. Without notice.

I went there specifically to eat delicious Indian food. Apparently this restaurant is closed - reason unknown - opening times were listed, so I thought it was open, but it wasn't! No reference to this online. There was pizza to take away next door and the man there told me the restaurant was closed - he didn't know the reason either...

Friendly service and excellent Indian food. Every wish was fulfilled!

The food was great, the restaurant was nicely decorated, but unfortunately we didn't feel like guests at all, more like we were there by chance, no music, and the three ladies were busy with themselves the entire time. The focus is probably very much on the delivery service. What a shame!

The food itself tasted okay. However, the orders were mixed up and the bottle of dish was brought to the table. The staff was really nice. One thing that really surprised me was that there weren't just Indian dishes on the menu, which is what I would have expected if I went to an Indian restaurant. There was, for example Also Greek food, burgers, etc. As a result, the whole thing no longer seemed so Indian. I think if the kitchen only focused on Indian dishes they could cook much better food.

The food itself was good and the price was fair. What shouldn't have happened is that the ordered food was mixed up several times. That seemed a bit unprofessional. The staff couldn't do anything about the wasps that besieged us. If I had the opportunity, I would give 3.5 stars, but unfortunately it's "only" 3.
