Really delicious food! We waited a long time for our food, but it was worth it 😋 We'll definitely be back!

Unfortunately it was a complete failure and definitely not recommended! My boyfriend is Indian and I have also been in India for a long time, so we know what we are talking about. Extremely long waiting time, service mainly by a very young girl and an Indian employee who unfortunately neither understands German nor English. I specifically ordered without coriander. Unfortunately, my rice was still served with plenty of coriander. I returned and asked for new rice. After almost 2 minutes, a new bowl of rice was brought to me, with tomatoes and pieces of cucumber draped on it. They were probably trying to hide the fact that it was the same rice as before. Only the top layer with the coarse leaves was removed and the shell was replaced. There was still coriander in the rice. Unfortunately for me it was inedible and it would be absurd to bring me the same rice again. According to the menu, my curry should contain fresh vegetables. What was not mentioned on the menu was that it was mixed with sweet canned fruits. Unfortunately, I don't like sweet curries at all and especially don't like canned fruits in my food. The adult waitress who was then called didn't care about these points at all. You couldn't show more disinterest. My friend's food was dripping with grease, again not common in real Indian cuisine. We returned all of my food and half of my friend's. Chai would take 15-20 minutes so we skipped that too. In between there was no question about new drinks or whether everything was ok. We had to call the waitress ourselves each time. At the end the young girl came back with the bill. Not a word of regret, not an apology. Sorry, but the overly positive reviews here seem a little suspicious to me.

I waited 40 minutes for the food. We didn't get an appetizer even though everyone gets one. We were there before other guests from India, we were served long after them, there was clear discrimination, this is not a place worth recommending.

The food here is really delicious. You don't have to come here for the atmosphere.

The food is the best in the area. On the weekend you have to have some time, which is also an indicator of popularity and therefore quality. There is room for improvement in terms of ambience.

The ambience in the restaurant is unsurpassable. The restaurant is large and there is also a bar. The first time I ate there with my husband, the restaurant was deserted and it didn't take long until we had our food. The last time we ate there again, it was packed almost within the first half hour of opening. We waited almost 90 minutes until we received our food... The food there tastes delicious & for people who are sensitive to spiciness, that's not a problem as the food is lightly seasoned. The chicken pieces were very tender and the food was pure enjoyment. Apart from the long wait because it was so crowded recently, I would go there more often! The prices are just right for the dish, although I haven't eaten everything yet. Really recommended, but despite the reservation you should be patient.

A particularly underwhelming visit. The young lady that served us was very polite and friendly. She was new to the restaurant but very knowledgable about the menu and particular dishes. The restaurant was very quiet when we arrived with only 3 couples, not surprising given it was a Sunday evening. We thought this would make our meal pretty speedy as we just wanted something quick after a long weekend. Unfortunately the starters took 30 minutes to arrive, and they were basic starters like soup that would have likely been pre-made. The mains took a further 45 minutes, and that was after most of the other customers had already finished and left. The food wasn’t all that bad, full of flavour if not slightly watery. The portions were enough to stave off the growing hunger. All in all the wait for our food and the slightly watery consistency left me disappointed. Given our superb experiences of the surrounding restaurants we won’t be returning any time soon :(

Very tasty food, delicately seasoned, meat (lamb) extremely tender. Friendly service, quick service. The restaurant's interior is a bit spartan, but functional and clean.

Super delicious Indian food. Pleasant spiciness of the food. The service is mostly good. Waiting times are a little longer than average, but in my case still OK. Picking up is also worth it.

The ambience is certainly not a 3-star restaurant and has more of the feel of a snack bar with plenty of seating. However, the very good food quickly made up for it. The service was very nice and accommodating and we didn't have to wait very long for our food. The food was really traditional Indian style and simply delicious. If something wasn't clear or you didn't know the ingredients, they were happy to explain it. So it was easy for us to turn the meal into a 3-course meal. There was nothing to complain about in terms of price. Given that we ate so well, the price was very reasonable. A downside was that, as has already been the case in some other restaurants, savings were made on energy prices/heating costs. It would have liked to have been a few degrees warmer.

If the restaurant were a man, this would be a one-time date. Pros: Delicious, authentic. kindly, my children jumped like goats on the seats, but since the hostess had three of her own sitting at the bar, no one cared. Drinks were served quickly. And now to the cons: -The food takes a long time to prepare. We waited for an hour, with children this is quite an adventure. We ordered them French fries, they brought them along with the main course. Tastier than anywhere else, but much smaller. But each order is served with a huge bowl of rice. If I knew this, then the children, then the children would only get drinks😀 The juices are cold, not natural. Delicious mango lassi, it's like yogurt with milk. The chicken was overcooked and dry, only the palak paneer sauce saved it. The volume is not large compared to what is usual in other restaurants. Very simple atmosphere, not festive, a feeling of desolation. And the red Primitivo wine tasted like sour homemade red wine, although the menu claimed to be “good”. I returned it, but it was not included in the receipt, which added points to the owner. We're full. They left a tip. But will I come back here? No. Who do I recommend it to? Who wants to chat in a relaxed atmosphere and has been to India.

We order food to pick up every Sunday, it usually takes an hour which is absolutely fine. The food is always fresh and super tasty. 😊

Lecker gegessen, und wenn da scharf dransteht, dann ist es auch scharf! Super.

Wir haben schon öfter dort gegessen und waren bisher immer sehr zufrieden. Das Essen ist köstlich und der Service ausgezeichnet.

"Indisch" hatten wir schon lange nicht mehr gehabt und von einer Bekannten gehört dass sie dort öfters maln"to go" bestellt. Man kann dort drinnen oder auch draußen sitzen (mit Blick auf einen Spielplatz...gut für Eltern mit kleineren Kindern). So, und das Wichtigste ist eh' das Essen. Es gibt die traditionelle Indische Küche. Ausreichend und sehr lecker. Wir sind jetzt nicht so die "Foto vom Essen posten" Menschen, daher keine Bilder. Jedenfalls ist das Lokal eine gute Gelegenheit um "Indisch" auszuprobieren oder für den Routinier um auf Stand zu bleiben.

Das Essen war gut, auch wenn ich mir gewünscht hätte, dass vom Service nach dem Schärfegrad gefragt worden wäre. So war es leider ein bisschen zu mild. Das Ambiente könnte ein bisschen ‚indischer‘ sein.

Leckeres Essen. Bei uns hat das aufnehmen der Bestellungen, sowie das Essen obwohl nichts los war sehr lange gedauert. Daher einen Stern Abzug. Aber sehr lecker war es :-)

Fantastisches Essen, qualitativ, quantitativ, preislich. Das einzige was man mitbringen muss ist hunger und doch etwas mehr Zeit.

Essen war gut und Preise waren angemessen. Die Kinder die Bedient haben freundlich. Der Mitarbeiter aus der Küche oder Koch half bei der Aufklärung der gereichten Speisen. Die Ausstattung der Räume war nicht gelungen, ich hätte mir viel mehr Traditionelles gewünscht.

Das Essen war super lecker...allerdings mussten wir auch etwas länger warten. Der Service war freundlich, allerdings wurde nicht weiter darauf geachtet, ob wir vielleicht noch Getränke nachbestellen möchten.

Hat stark nachgelassen, lohnt sich leider nicht mehr. Keine Nachfrage, ob alles OK ist. Das war es leider auch nicht. Mein Mann hat sich dann gemeldet und nachgefragt, ob das Fleisch in seinem Gericht wirklich Ente sei, es war sehr zäh und trocken. Ihm wurde erklärt, dass es gekochte Ente sei, weiter interessierte das allerdings auch nicht. Meine Gemüsebällchen waren annehmbar, jedoch waren es nur zwei ziemlich kleine, der Rest war Sauce mit überwiegend Erbsen und Möhren. Was auch sehr skurril war: wir wurden teilweise von einem Mädchen bedient. Ich denke nicht, dass sie schon 10 Jahre alt war. Insgesamt sehr schade, es war hier mal sehr gut.

Maximal 2 Sternchen wegen dem Service. Trotz Reservierung 2 Stunden Wartezeit auf das Essen…. Da mag das Essen noch so gut sein-was nützt es wenn ich zwischenzeitlich verhungere;-) Das Essen ist zwar gut bis sehr gut, aber man sollte hingehen wenn man noch keinen Hunger hat. Scheinbar kommen die mit dem kochen nicht hinterher, aber lieber zufriedene Kunden als unberechenbare Zeiten. Tut mir leid, aber in der Wartezeit schaffe ich ja fast mir das Grabmal der Mumtaz Mahal anzusehen…

Sehr leckeres Essen und sehr schnelle Zubereitung. Nach der ersten Getränke und Essenslieferung war der Service aber eher bescheiden. Um etwas Reis nachzubestellen mussten wir fast in die Küche gehen und auch ein zweites Getränk konnten wir nicht am Platz bestellen. Den Reis und die Schluss-Rechnung hat uns dann ein kleines Mädchen serviert. :)

Essen ist ok. Service und Wartezeit sind leider extrem. Haben schon mehrfach über 1h auf die Vorspeise gewartet. Zudem scheint das Restaurant auch das Kinderzimmer der Inhaber zu sein. Teilweise bedienen diese auch mit und kassieren. 🤔

Lecker und vor allem ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Service könnte etwas aufmerksamer sein. Insgesamt passt es aber. Empfehlenswert!

Super leckeres indisches Essen. Wenn man reinkommt kann man schon riechen mit welchen Gewürzen gekocht wird. Die Currys sind es allemal wert. Sehr lecker war das Vindaloo und das Butter Chicken. Vegetarische Gerichte gibt es ebenfalls und sind zu empfehlen.

Food was average. Waiter's behaviour was not so friendly at all. Most annoying thing is that, we had to wait 20 minutes for ordering . And after ordering, food took 35 minutes to arrive. So yeah..... I don't think we will go back there again.

Schönes Lokal mit guten Parkmöglichkeiten. Das Essen war super. Wir haben Vor- und Hauptspeisen bestellt und waren rundum zufrieden. Alles kam heiß an den Tisch. Es scheint als hätten wir gestern noch Glück gehabt und "nur" 45 Minuten auf unsere Vorspeisen gewartet. Der Service war freundlich und kann ja nichts für die lange Wartezeit. Wir werden nächstes Mal einfach etwas eher essen gehen. Die Preise sind absolut in Ordnung, sogar eher im unteren Segment. Wir haben für drei Vor- und zwei Hauptspeisen 48€ inkl. Getränken bezahlt.

From the beginning, when it started to now, the food and the service has shown tremendous improvement. Being an indian, i love going here quite often. The waiting times have changed from hours to normal waiting times. The food tastes even better than some restauarnts in india. If you want to get a taste of india. Definitely go here and try the paneer karahi, paneer lababdar, chicken tikka masala and chiken tikka biryani with garlic naan. This is my absolute favorite from the restaurant menu. If you really want a nice soup starter, go for chicken shorba.

Meine Erfahrungen mit dem Taj sind leider überwiegend negativ. Das Essen ist in Ordnung, aber leider sind der Service und das Management eine Vollkatastrophe. Da wartet man lange auf das Essen und danach wird man ewig vor den leeren Tellern sitzengelassen. Das jüngste Beispiel: am letzten Wochenende haben wir für eine Geburtstagsfeier online für 6 Personen Essen bestellt. Google sagte, das Restaurant sei geöffnet und man wurde angehalten, online zu bestellen, mit dem Hinweis, wenn etwas nicht klappen sollte, würden sie sich melden. Eine Empfangsbestätigung kam auch, also waren wir optimistisch. Als wir das Essen abholen wollten, war ein Schild wegen Betriebsferien an der Tür. So was geht gar nicht!

Leckeres Essen Nettes Personal aber leider erst auffordern müssen zum Bestellen und sehr lange Wartezeit deswegen zwei Sterne Abzug aber trotzdem sehr leckeres Essen.
