TAJ Indisches Restaurant - Erding in Erding

We went yesterday for lunch. Mittagskarte menu was reasonable. Punjabi Lamb curry was delicious. Unique different taste unlike typical tomato paste taste that you often get in Indisch restaurants in Germany. Also, malai korma was good. It’s a sweet dish though! Overall good service, ambience. Visiting again.

Perfect is almost an understatement! The service was super friendly, attentive, and warm—you immediately feel welcome. The portions? Large enough to satisfy even the most hungry stomachs. Nice, good food but questionable staff

We shared a vegetarian Thali platter. We particularly enjoyed the spinach, lentils, and eggplant. I had a salty lassi with it—highly recommended.

Noble Indian with a wide range. We had the Vegan Starter and Chicken Vendaloo. Everything was very well presented and tasted.

It was my first time at this Indian restaurant and I absolutely loved it! The Butter Chicken was incredibly delicious – tender meat in a perfectly seasoned, creamy sauce. I would particularly like to highlight the naan bread: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and fresh from the oven – simply heavenly! The service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere warm and inviting. I'll definitely be back. Absolute recommendation for all lovers of Indian cuisine.

It was my first time at the Taj. It was super tasty. I ordered something else with lamb and then got it without meat, but I didn't mind. It was super tasty. The dessert too. And the tea... Everything was perfect and I will definitely eat there more often (I want to try something new again). The staff is super friendly, always asking if everything is ok, very nice people. We visited the restaurant today. Nice outdoor area ideal for families and friends. We ordered •butter chicken •paneer palak • daal shorba •veg biryani and •mint paratha. i have to mention here that in the beginning we ordered the drinks and my pepsi was not bubbly but we asked them to replace it and they did directly and we asked also for spoons because the soup arrived and we didn’t have spoons to eat it. The staff is very nice but need some training in my opinion. The food was nice but a bit too spicy even though it was not mentioned in the menu that it is that much… it was tasty though… I liked the area outside as i mentioned earlier it’s nice to dine when the weather is nice. when we asked for the bill they offered us a mango liqueur which was delicious,and a Mars candy chocolate and a lollipop 😍 i appreciated this move❤️ I will probably visit again on the summertime 😍

War mit meiner Frau und befreundeten Ehepaar zum Abendessen hier. Der Service ist soweit gut wobei man sich beim auswählen des Essens leicht gedrängt fühlt. Hier sollte man dem Gast noch etwas mehr Zeit beim auswählen lassen. Das Essen kann man als authentisch bezeichnen und qualitativ sehr gut. Ich denke ich kann mir diesen Vergleich erlauben, da ich erst vor zwei Wochen in Indien war. Auch das Knoblauch Nahn war gut und wir wahren sehr zufrieden. Den Service ist ansonsten äußerst bemüht und ich kann das Lokal als klare Empfehlung aussprechen. Fazit. Wer einen authentischen Inder in Erding sucht ist hier gut aufgehoben.

A perfect restaurant for celebrating special occasions with family. The food was impeccable and gave us a taste of Indian culture and cuisine. The service and staff were friendly and attentive, making our little foray into Indian cuisine even better. Excellent menu and dishes, today the lunch menu had a large selection. We love Indian food, even remembering a long trip there. With a pleasant atmosphere and attentive service, the TAJ is now one of our favorite restaurants in Erding. We are looking forward to the large garden opening again in spring.

Can't understand the gushing comments, he's a normal Indian who serves average food. Nothing special. I really eat a lot of Indian cuisine and I can name some that are significantly better. The friendliness could also be improved, but everything was still fine.

Conclusion: Very tasty food and nice staff. Highly recommended! The service was really great. You are warmly welcomed and feel comfortable. We had salmon with mango and a mixed fish thali. Everything was super tasty. At the end there was a mango liqueur or a small dessert on the house. Addendum: According to the internet, opening times are from 5:15 p.m. I wanted to reserve a table and was told that wasn't possible. Only from 5:45 p.m. Then the opening times should urgently be adjusted.

Good Indian restaurant with very friendly SERVICE

Three of us went to this lovely Indian restaurant to celebrate my sister's birthday. 🎂 Any requests were addressed immediately and we were served with a beautiful smile. 😊 Even without being asked, at the end of our meal a birthday song was played, ice cream was served and we sang along, which made my sister "Woman of the Night". The toilets are also very clean. The food is delicious and the portions are perfectly sized so you'll be more than satisfied. ☺️

I have rarely, perhaps never, had such good Indian food. Even Munich's Indian restaurants can't keep up. The portions are also extremely generous and not expensive at all in comparison. The service was extremely friendly and rounded off the stay in this wonderfully comfortably furnished restaurant. It's definitely not the last time I've been to the "Taj".

Were in Erding for the wellness weekend. Found the restaurant by google search. Appointments could be reserved at short notice by telephone. Were welcomed very friendly and escorted to the table. The atmosphere took some getting used to but was typically Indian. The table decoration was very attractive. The choice of food was very plentiful. The food was plentiful and served in a very original way. We were very positively surprised by the taste of the meal. It was a real treat. So many new flavors, simply brilliant. The service staff was very attentive and courteous. The price was reasonable and justified. From today on you are true India food fans. Gladly again.

We were on a wellness weekend with my partner and the TAJ Restaurant was recommended to us. Indian cuisine was new to us and we were excited to reserve a table, even though it was very full. We were received very friendly by the service and were positively impressed by the ambience and the table decorations. The food was a dream thanks to the various spice compositions, a real treat for the palate. The service responded to special requests and the price was reasonable. Highly recommended.

Sorry but those who rate this place need to get out more. I can honestly say I have had microwave meals that were better. My partner had a vegetable byriani. It had a lot of peas in it and not much else. I had a chicken masala. That tasted like tomato chicken,the samosa was just a pulpy paste. All this and you get overcharged. Sorry but rubbish.

I’ve reserved a table for me and my girlfriend for valentine’s day, I forgot to get flowers for my girl earlier so when we were right at the restaurant I actually asked one of the waiters if he could help me out somehow and a few minutes later he brought me a rose with a heart shaped ballon and some sweets so I could give something to my girlfriend and make her happy. It was such a great evening and they saved me from a lot of struggle. The food was great and all of the staff members were really friendly and helpful. So if you are searching for a good restaurant in Erding than I would highly recommend you trying out TAJ.

Wir waren mit dem Essen und dem Service rundum sehr zufrieden. Wir hatten uns für "Butter Chicken" und "Chicken Biriany" entschieden. Beides war ausgezeichnet. Das Reisgericht war für mich zu viel zum essen. Es war kein Problem sich den Rest einpacken zu lassen und mitzunehmen. Die Preise sind - gerade für die heutige Zeit - eher moderat. Die meisten Hauptgerichte unter 20€. Da geht auch ein Essen mit Familie. Was mich gestört hat, war der hohe Lärmpegel, da das Lokal selbst an einem Montag Abend 18:30 sehr gut besucht war. Direkt neben uns eine Gruppe mit 12 Leuten am Tisch. Das freut den Wirt und ich gönne ihm das auch. Aber seit Corona gehen wir nur noch sehr selten essen und sind das einfach nicht mehr gewöhnt. Ich werde zukünftig im Herbst und Winter das Essen zu Abholen bestellen und das Restaurant in der warmen Jahreszeit besuchen, wenn der schöne Garten geöffnet ist.

Unfortunately I could only eat to go, but it was always hot, on time and of course authentically delicious. The staff in the restaurant are all very friendly and relaxed, which creates a great atmosphere. I would like to remain a regular guest, but unfortunately I have to leave Erding. Nevertheless, I wish you further successful culinary years.
