Food was very tasty. Service was very good.

Wow, we were thrilled. If you love Indian food, this is the place for you. The naan bread was a taste experience, extremely tasty. The restaurant is busy, so if you want a seat you have to come very early or reserve in advance.

Excellent Indian food, very friendly and attentive service. In summer you can also sit in the beautiful garden under the chestnut trees. However, we went inside for lunch, where the prices are also good. We'll definitely be back and not just for lunch!

One of the finest restaurants in Erding that offers Indian cuisine. Food is awesome, ambiance is warm and welcoming and staff is extremely service oriented. We were staying in Erding fonionly one night but Taj made that one night the most memorable and the biggest highlight of our trip. We visited Munich for Oktoberfest and one our way back from the city, we were Hungary and had been missing Indian food for over a week. Food and hospitality in Taj restaurant in Erding made us feel at home.

I absolutely can't understand the good reviews. The TAJ Erding has deteriorated significantly. You are simply ignored and have to beg for food. The soup was totally over salted, the main meal was good. You don't feel welcome. Added to that is the soup and so on. Main meal at the same time. Not even the drinks. It's a shame, we always enjoyed being there

Der gute Chef-Koch ist nicht mehr da, merkt man gleich. Personal ist auch nicht mehr in der Spur. Frech ist noch höflich formuliert.

Als erstes will ich den wirklich wunderschönen Außenbereich erwähnen. Wäre es kein Inder, dann wäre das der perfekte bayrische Biergarten! Der Service ist gut und wir hatten keine langen Wartezeiten. Die Auswahl ist reichhaltig und beinhaltet viele indische Klassiker. Ich hatte ein Tandori Gericht mit Hähnchen, meine Frau ein Gericht mit Ente. Beides war wirklich gut und auf den europäischen Geschmack hinsichtlich Schärfegrad angepasst. Ich würde es jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

A successful restaurant visit. We were able to enjoy the delicious food outside in the beer garden while the children occupied themselves in the playground. The kiddies (three and one year old) were then allowed to help “clear the table” and were paid in kind for this. 😉 Thanks for the child-friendly service!

We are here on vacation at the moment. It was my first time eating Indian food. It was awesome 🤩 totally delicious! My husband had Chicken Handi My son had the Taj plate And I Mango Chicken 🤤 The dwarf schnitzel with fries 😉 I don't count that as Indian, but it was delicious. The mango chicken was awesome, slightly fruity and spicy but not spicy. The Taj and Handi were slightly spicy. For me, onion is the most spicy, so what the boys ate was just about acceptable, but in terms of taste, all three variants were super delicious. We also ordered a Garlic Nan bread with garlic 👌 really great! If you're in the mood for something new/different and delicious here in Erding, you've come to the right place! We would love to come back! The dessert is a great ending 😉☝️ and also very tasty. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos 🫣 we were already so hungry after the excursion, there was no time left for that 😬

The atmosphere and the beer garden is really nice. The prices aren't too bad either. The service is ok but they lingered around the table after interacting with us which was kind of odd. The food isn't anything special at all. Not enough meat and the mixed tandoori only had one piece of lamb. Medium spice was very mild I thought. Overall ok but wouldn't return in a hurry

Very good food - nice beer garden

The three of us came without a reservation and still got a table. However, it was already reserved for a later time. No problem, we can do it. The menu is very extensive, but we still found something to suit our taste buds and were not disappointed. The waitresses are friendly and attentive and are always up for a joke now and then. This is the icing on the cake. Dog was allowed in too. All in all, a wonderfully fun evening. Gladly again!

Underground!!! Never experienced such miserable service!!! Were ignored for a long time, even though the beer garden was hardly visited; People especially don't like women here!!!??? Here you don't want to have guests... Warning: Drinks are a joke!!! There's far too little alcohol in cocktails... NoGo: Papadam came at the same time as the main course - what's the point?!!! The waiter wanted to clear our plates while we were still eating... is that still possible???!!!

Wir kommen immer wieder her. Das Essen ist sehr sehr lecker, der Service ist freundlich - vor allem Sunny und Laddy, die beiden Ober und immer sehr schnell. Bei unserem letzten Besuch saßen wir draußen im Biergarten. Passt alles! Einzig die Toilette ist zu bemängeln: Sie ist nicht barrierefrei.

We had main courses with different types of meat: duck, lamb, fish, and unfortunately none of them were tasty/quality. I recommend you keep your expectations low. There was a big difference between the highly rated reviews on Google Maps and the food we had. For Indian cuisine, I recommend other restaurants in the center of Munich. Last but not least, for a meal for 5 people, we paid a high price for such little taste. Overall it was a disappointing experience.

Delicious! Nice, quiet beer garden - separated from the street by a wall, so you hardly notice anything from the outside; There is also a small playground for children - and the tables are not crowded together, which contributes to the feel-good factor. Thank you, we'll be happy to come back.

Me and my family came from the thermal baths and debated whether we should eat a kebab or go to Taj and well, we probably made the best decision because this Indian delicacy was unique! I have never eaten Indian food so deliciously and the waitress was incredibly nice and always checked on us and asked if it was good and if we needed anything. We ate outside and there was even a small playground for children with a slide and climbing frame. The ambience was very nice and when I went in to go to the toilet, the cultural music was already ringing in my ears, everything was so heartily decorated and in the toilet there was deodorant, hand cream and even hair gel! If I lived here I would be here every week. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had lunch. Menu was very good for this price. Only the service could be friendlier and at 2.15 p.m. the waiter came with the bill without being asked and collected it. Meant as much as see again.

After a long time we were back at the Taj in Erding. I was already happy beforehand and I didn't actually have to look at the menu. As always, it was very tasty and next time I definitely have to come back when the weather is good to sit in the beautiful garden. My favorite dish, number 49, Chicken Nilgri. Not for everyone, but I love it.

The staff is very friendly.and we order samosa and chicken pkora is very delicious 😋.nd chicken vindaloo nd mutten khumb wala super taste .I visited with my girlfriend and she feel so happy to eat due to dishes we eat .nd last they serve us mango cream 🍦 was too much tasty.thanks a lot to taj erding all team. Erbärmliches Personal. Sehr unhöflich und ohne Respekt für indische Gäste. Sie nutzen den Namen Indiens, um für sich selbst zu werben, bedienen aber nicht gerne indische Gäste. Schon oft wurde Hühnchen für eine vegetarische Bestellung serviert. Überhaupt nicht zu empfehlen, nur wegen der schlechten und verantwortungslosen Leute, die dort arbeiten.

Staff is not supporting at all . They are using INDIAN in their title to promote themselves but they don't like to serve Indian customers . Staff was really rude . The behaviour of staff was very bad and applicable actions should be taken towards them .

Pathetic staff , behaviour of staff was very bad , went there with my family for dinner but the staff was very rude and I'll not recommend anybody to go there and the reason is again the staff , they will not serve you properly and will be rude.

Staff were very rude towards Indian customers.they are using Indian in their title to promote themselves but they are not behaving well with Indian customers. Strict action should be taken . And specially when u place your order and go their to pick your order when they come to know that u are Indian they refuse to give u your order. All in all very bad experience I'll not recommend anybody to go there .

Honestly I have seen colours of this restaurant turning from good, bad to now ugly. Earlier recalling 6-7 years back this restaurant was among the only few choices we had in Erding/Freising area. The restaurant was also serving bit ok, but no where near real authentic Indian food. Over the years the taste had gone downwards and most Indians have already made U turn from this place to some other restaurants. The biggest disappointment was staff and their attitude towards customers and in particular Indian customers. Deeply disappointed with the service and food quality. For my European friends and travellers pls take good caution what your order and the ingredients. There had been multiple instances with me personally on mixing up veg order with chicken and tikka with tandoori chicken. I hope the ingredients are not randomly mixed and thrown to bowl for servings.

I went to the Taj for the first time today. It is an absolutely recommended restaurant with a wonderful ambience, delicious food and excellent service. The menu was a bit overwhelming for us as it is really extensive. But after a little time we found the perfect dishes. The service is super attentive and very friendly. The taste is really sensational. You also have to eat the garlic naan. Thank you for this lovely evening. I can only recommend the Taj.
