Great, attentive service, very good cuisine and a cozy atmosphere.

Waiting time was significantly more than 30 minutes and there was a black hair in my drink and it was very expensive

We spontaneously got a spot on the balcony here during a trip to Bad Kissingen, and it was simply fantastic. The service was very friendly and the food was simply fantastic.

First-class Indian food. My wife and I were both delighted. Great taste, very good quality vegetables, rice, and meat. The quantity was very generous – even for a larger appetite, yet pleasantly light. The service was very good, attentive, and flexible. There was no extra charge for ordering the curry sauce. We sat on the small balcony in the pedestrian zone and were able to observe the hustle and bustle in peace. A large awning protected us from the sun and light rain showers. The ambiance is very pleasant thanks to the perfect manners, the professionalism in serving and setting, and the beautiful white linen for the napkins and tablecloths. The copper vessels for the main course and rice also match the decor. The prices are completely reasonable for the quality and correspond to the usual standard in Bad Kissingen. We highly recommend this fantastic restaurant and will definitely return on our next vacation.

It was my regular restaurant, and the food was absolutely delicious. Very good and attentive service (as always! The waiter knows his stuff). A prawn cocktail that left nothing to be desired. The value for money was good, and everything was very clean and lovingly decorated. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

A pleasant restaurant in a beautiful half-timbered house. The service is friendly, and the food selection is as extensive and good as usual. As is typical in this segment of the restaurant industry, the menu primarily serves convenience foods.

All in all, it was okay. The food was really good and, above all, plentiful. However, I have to leave it at "good"; I don't quite understand the rave reviews. The rice was cold, but it was replaced immediately. Absolutely excellent value for money.

The ambiance is great, the service is excellent, and the food is absolutely delicious. If you're planning a larger group, it's definitely worth making a reservation, as the restaurant gets quite busy. We didn't have to wait long for our food, and they don't use artificial flavor enhancers in their food. Very good! The value for money is good, and everything was very clean and beautifully decorated.

Excellent! Best Chicken Madras in Germany. They had Kulfi and as a test I asked also for Ras Malai which I couldn’t believe they had and all was delicious. My only problem was they had run out of Old Monk the night before. We will be back….Blue Weaver

This is one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been to! To be honest, I wasn’t expecting it to be this good — but the food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The waiters were friendly and kind, and it’s a lovely spot to sit outside when the weather is nice. Especially considering that this restaurant is here in Bad Kissingen, it was a very pleasant surprise! I highly recommend the Naan bread and the Tandoori chicken, which is marinated for 24 hours.

Very good food in a nice atmosphere

Really really great food! Very attentive service, almost a little too on the ball. Great appetizer platter, easy for two, then a large selection, just have to try it out. Pinot Gris was great. Top price/performance. Reserve! Will definitely come again.

I ordered lamb and rice Unfortunately, the pieces of lamb were only warmed with a microwave because they were hard and dry. The cook probably wanted to go home and didn't feel like it. The money was really too good for me. The lamb must be fried until tender and slightly pink.

Very good Indian cuisine The food is incredibly tasty, freshly prepared and still on the table quickly. The service was good and the employees were very nice and polite. The portions are very generous. The restaurant was very busy at lunchtime and without a reservation it is difficult to get a seat. We will be happy to come back. I can only recommend the restaurant!

We were there yesterday in a small group and felt very comfortable, although the waitresses all seemed very serious. The food came quickly and tasted good to very good to all of us. The dessert alone, Ras Malai, was completely different than in the photo (lots of balls, pistachios, lots of sauce and saffron threads). Unfortunately I didn't take a photo of it. Our dessert was completely white, with almost no pistachios and no saffron, basically exactly as shown on the menu...

We went to the Taj Curry House today based on several recommendations. The service is great, but that doesn't compare to the outstanding Indian food. It was super tasty and we can wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant. If you want authentic Indian food, this is the place for you!

It's always worth a visit. Great, delicious food accompanied by great service, attentive staff and a great ambience. The "very spicy" food could be a little spicier, but I think it is still well suited to the German palate. 👍 You simply have the feeling, which has become very rare these days, that you are simply being served by professionals.

We go there regularly and have never been disappointed with the taste. No matter what you eat, it's always delicious. The portion sizes are more than sufficient. Ordering online with subsequent pickup is also recommended; the food was always ready for pickup at the confirmed time.

I was there for the first time today with a friend. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait about 5 minutes for our table, but in my opinion that was completely acceptable. The food was ready super quickly and tasted very good. My friend found her dish too spicy and had no problem remaking it. It was a bit noisy in the dining room itself, but that was due to the number of people there. All in all, really highly recommended. I had an Ipanema and number 13 as a starter and number 33 as a main course. The prices are more than fair.

Food is really good, but service is just wild. Despite having a reservation, we waited a long time for the table and then had to be moved again. Orders were taken incorrectly and random dishes were simply charged when paying. When we pointed this out, we should please just reimburse each other for the difference. Food was really great, but we won't be back.

Went there spontaneously almost four weeks ago. We quickly found a place outside, were served nicely and the food is top notch! Only recommended!

Very nice restaurant, great building and also very cozy inside. The food was also very tasty and enough to fill you up. However, the service was not good at all. The gentleman who took our orders was simply unfriendly. No smiles, even complaining that two people didn't come because they were sick. Then we were literally taken by surprise with the question of whether an individual who wasn't one of us could come to the table with us... The lady was already at the table. Hospitality and service is something different for me, the entire group was very dissatisfied with that!

We are thrilled. From the outside, the restaurant looks a bit inconspicuous, as the entrance is on the first floor and you can't see how busy it is. But it was very well attended, and rightly so. The service is very friendly and accommodating, although sometimes a bit chaotic as several waiters approach the tables at once. But it didn't bother us. We just had to wait quite a long time for payment. The starter, two different types of naan and our main courses were all very tasty and could have been a little spicier for us, but everyone's experience is different. We were asked in between if we still needed rice. Elsewhere you have to ask for it yourself. The price-performance ratio is good. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Bad Kissingen.

Taj Curry House has long been one of my favorite restaurants. Great Indian cuisine with both meat and vegetarians. Very high quality products are used, which you can taste in the chicken, for example. The employees are also super friendly and quick. From my side, highly recommended and again at any time.

You can have great food without having to wait a bit because the restaurant is on the market and is therefore very popular. Price/performance fits. Main waiter friendly.

Prices totally overpriced. You are filled with cheap rice, which is available in large quantities, while you search in relative vain for chicken or fish in the many sauces. Staff very rude, atmosphere not inviting and certainly not Indian. All in all, more than very disappointing and absolutely not recommended.

Nice restaurant in the middle of the pedestrian zone. The food is very good. The service friendly.

Our choice on our travels was Indian again, so we went to the Taj Curry House. We were greeted very friendly and given a table of our choice. The menu has a wide range of typical Indian dishes and drinks. Also suitable for vegetarians and lovers of good cocktails with and without alcohol are well catered for. Our order came to the table hot and relatively quickly. The starter was fried onion balls with two different types of sauce and tasted delicious and very mild. The chicken curry doesn't taste like a typical standard curry, but the curry sauce and the chicken meat are of very high quality and therefore have their own, very good taste. The cocktails are well mixed and there is not too much ice in the glass. For dessert I had the mango cream, which was as light and airy as mango cream, very cool, very tasty. I would describe the atmosphere in the Taj Curry House as Indian, but also modern. We felt comfortable, but in our opinion something was still missing for the Indian flair. Service was satisfactory but dropped off a bit towards the end of our visit. We waited a little longer for our second order and for the bill. But this was probably due to the number of guests. Since we have eaten Indian food often and everywhere, we missed being offered some lentil bread with three different sauces at the beginning and a mango lassi or schnapps at the end. But we are probably already very spoiled. Conclusion: Good Indian restaurant with very good food at a normal price. Nice modern atmosphere with friendly staff. Gladly again

Great dinner in the second oldest building on the beautiful historic market square in the heart of Bad Kissingen! Authentic, fine Indian cuisine served by very warm, perfect service at the beautifully set tables. Appropriate drinks! Small selection of wines that harmonize very well with the spicy, mild to really spicy Indian delights. Our fullest recommendation!!!

Unfriendly staff! Despite having booked a table, there was time pressure that you had to leave by a certain time. When we asked you to please bring new cutlery for the main course, the response was to roll your eyes. Not recommended. Food too expensive for this quality.

Waited too long and then far too little on the plate

The dips for the naan are a tasty experience as a starter, as is the Peshawari naan with cheese. The main courses are served in small pans. At first you wonder how you're going to get full, but the dishes are so complex that they really fill you up. Any time!

The finest authentic Indian cuisine is served here (I've been to India myself) and everything is really tastefully prepared. The standard is a bit raised but the original ingredients also have their price and it is reasonable. The service is extremely friendly and the restaurant is very attractive and is located right in the center, a clear recommendation of 5☆ from us

Really delicious food and everything fresh

Tasty and good food, I had the seafood plate with rice and a buttery curry sauce. I am still impressed by the taste. We had nice view from the terrace of the restaurant over the small square. The only thing that bothered me was the approach of the young girl from the service, she was very unprofessional, her service was not up to standard.

The two of us had dinner in the evening. The shop was quite busy and we waited a while for our food. The food was very tasty and the waiter was attentive and was regularly at our table.

The location is very attractively decorated. Service is always attentive and extremely friendly. We ate three courses. Particularly noteworthy are the different breads, the quality and preparation of the meat, as well as the spicy and well-seasoned sauces. Price performance ratio absolutely reasonable. The vegetarian food was excellent and the service staff was very nice!

We went there twice for dinner as part of my rehab. If I lived there I would eat there regularly. The soups are very good and some are slightly spicy. For example, I had the tomato soup. The main courses look very small at the beginning but they are completely sufficient and I struggled with the portion. The waitresses are very friendly and you can tell they have professional training or have acquired it very well. Unfortunately there is no parking directly at the restaurant as the restaurant is in the pedestrian zone. But right on the edge of the pedestrian zone there is a theater parking garage where the first two hours cost €1.20. And every additional hour 60 cents
