Definitely the no 1 Asian restaurant in Dresden, and probably the best Taiwanese restaurant I've been to outside if Taiwan!

Teryaki Chicken had gristle and no flavor In general, 12 euros is not appropriate for such a small portion

I had ordered noodles with beef (offer on Saturday), but unfortunately the soup is sweet… The room is warmly furnished but unfortunately not big enough. The height of tables are uncomfortable.

Highly recommended: The authentic Taiwanese cuisine offers a diverse selection of freshly prepared dishes. I can particularly recommend the popcorn chicken as a small snack – crispy, juicy and excellently seasoned. The owner is very friendly and creates a welcoming atmosphere. A real insider tip for everyone traveling in the Neustadt!

Authentic homemade Taiwanese food, I love eating here because it reminds me of my time living in Taipei. Everything is made with love and so much work, from salad, the handmade noodle, the broth, each dish, each dumplings, to the drinks. The food is a superb art in itself, Natascha is a magician and artist in cooking ♥️✨

Outrageously tiny portions that are offered for the price of a main course and are advertised as such

This place is such a humble restaurant, offering all-time favorite Taiwanese street food and home-cooked meals. The owner was very welcoming and super friendly. That time I ordered quite a few dishes as the portions were just right for Asian standard. 1. 魷魚羹麵 : This thick noodle soup was utterly savory from the seafood-based ingredients used. The squid pieces were blanched perfectly. The squid balls had very nice consistency. The radish strips were soft and sweet. The Thai basil leaves delivered herbal scent and taste, brightening the whole dish. Everything was elevated the moment I added white pepper and black vinegar. 2. 大腸麵線 : This thick mee sua soup is the most classic street food of Taiwan. The one that I had was without oysters due to regional limited availability. Instead, oysters were substituted with pork intestines. The mee sua was so special. The broth was loaded with umami. The cilantro leaves added freshness to the dish. I drizzle a bit of black vinegar to give the soup a slight kick. 3. 三杯雞套餐 : Another classic dish that I had was this one. The real one was supposed to be served in a claypot. This restaurant rather served it directly over hot steaming rice as dish was offered as one-pot meal together with other side dishes. The taste of this dish was authentic. The side dishes gave homey feelings from the simple flavors. 4. 滷肉飯套餐 : This was yet another authentic dish of Taiwan. The braised pork in soy sauce and spices was so comforting with perfect amount of sweetness. The side dishes were served, especially the radish-like strips were to die for with a subtle amount of sweetness. Having paired everything with hot steaming rice was a match made in heaven. However, there could be a bit more pork pieces. 5. 水蒸魚便當 : The fish flaked well. Unfortunately the flavor of the Szechuan-liked sauce was rather mild. The side dishes were delicious. 6. 鹽酥雞 and 炸海鮮 : This dish was so reminiscent of the night market in Taiwan. The spice mixtures and marinade were the right combination. The chicken and squid pieces were succulent. However, they could have been a bit crispier to our liking. 7. 炸豆腐 : As I suspected, this dish was supposed to be using stinky tofu. Needless to say, it could not be offered due to the regional availability of the ingredients. Yet the final dish was fantastic. The tofu was so fresh with intense soy bean flavor. The exterior was loaded with crispiness and tossed with the sauce.

Small, fine, family restaurant. A bit cramped, but the food is great and (in my amateur judgment, everything is) homemade. My wife can sign it like that!

The vegan beef noodle soup was awesome. The vegan meat tasted great, the broth, vegetables and homemade noodles were very tasty, spicy and perfect for the winter.

Price performance 5/10 Service friendly, portions very small for the money. Maybe I'll try it again but there are other interesting options in the Neustadt.

All in all it was fine. The atmosphere is not the most comfortable, there is not much space to sit. The food was ok but not exceptional either. I wouldn't come back. At ~15€ for a main course, it's not exactly cheap either.

you have to try the crispy tofu and baozi, they were delicious! the beef noodle soup and rouzhao noodle soup were ok. we expected the broth to have a bit of a kick, but for both soup the flavor was subtle. we chose the handmade noodles, which was thick (though not as thick as udon noodles) and could make you feel full quickly. the service was very good, food and drinks were served relatively fast.

Super delicious food, warm and quick service, and always hot tea infusions included. There is something for everyone, whether you are hungry or big! If I'm in Dresden again, I'll definitely come again!

Super good, spectacular food, super little shop, everything was great. I would say the style isn't entirely consistent, but that's what makes it so charming. One of our favorite restaurants in Neustadt. Small tips for improvement would be: clean the sometimes sticky menus on the table early with a cloth. Disinfectant spray is all well and good, but cleaning with water and detergent beforehand and only then using disinfectant would be better.

The food may be authentic, but the prices are beyond good and bad. The Dresden competitors with Sichuan cuisine have much better prices and larger portions.

I visited your restaurant with my German friends who have been to Taiwan. Just like the name of the restaurant, it is the portion size of tapas, so it is expensive in terms of price. The environment and hygiene of the restaurant also made my friends say it really has a Taiwanese flavor... The menu is very sticky, and the tablecloths haven't been changed in I don't know how many months. They are stained by several previous customers. Green tea tastes very bland.

What a pleasant surprise to find authentic Taiwanese food in Dresden. I had the Lu Rou pork rice which was tasty but the other dishes looked great as well. The lady running it was very kind.

After passing through this city, I saw the online sharing and came here to eat. I was very disappointed. The staff service is very good, but they are a bit nervous or in a hurry. Maybe there is only one outside employee. The fried chicken I ordered was particularly delicious and tasted like home. I miss it very much. The fried tofu is also recommended. Braised food platter is delicious but extremely salty A rose oil chicken bento. The chicken was very small and there was only one piece of bone in the middle. There was no meat at all. And the side dishes are also super salty. Every side dish that goes with it is salty. It’s a bit salty. Taiwanese green tea iced is super tasteless and super bland... Really not recommended

I went there with six friends of mine. Two of my friends have families in Taiwan and they know the cuisine. They told me it is very authentic and tasty. The food was tasty indeed. The menu has variations and is reasonably priced. We shared different starters, desserts and I ordered Taiwanese Curry. Was numnum! 🤤 The restaurant is not suitable for a very large group. Perfect for four persons and it is a very small restaurant. You can also dine outside. The waitress was very nice and the atmosphere too because of my friends, ofcourse. 😁

Encontramos este pequeño restaurante accidentalmente y pedimos una pequeña comida. Tenemos albóndigas vegetarianas fritas y tofu frito. La masa del dumping era excelente y el sabor del dumping también. El tofu era realmente crujiente y sabroso como debería ser. Además, el camarero era muy amable.

I was absolutely disappointed and expected something completely different... I had the red soup, which was supposed to have various ingredients like fish balls in it - none of it was there. It was really just noodles in a liquid. When the soup was brought (I had ordered a large one) I was a bit irritated because it was very little and told the waitress that I wanted the large soup, to which she said that it was a large one. This was actually the size that is considered small in other restaurants and takeaways. So the price - I think around 9 euros - was an absolute disgrace, especially since none of the inserts were included. It's not even that expensive to eat in KaDeWe. The bottom line is that I just felt ripped off and since I wasn't even remotely full from it, I had to look for something to eat somewhere else afterwards. The sizes and ingredients should really be made transparent here so that more people don't have to shell out 9 euros for a small bowl of pasta with liquid that wasn't even tasty. If this was Taiwanese food, then goodnight. Every packet of soup tastes better. Conclusion: complete waste of money

Ich war absolut enttäuscht und habe etwas völlig Anderes erwartet....ich hatte die rote Suppe, in der verschiedene Einlagen wie Fischbällchen drin sein sollten-nichts davon war drin. Es waren wirklich nur Nudeln in einer Flüssigkeit. Als die Suppe gebracht wurde (ich hatte eine Große bestellt) war ich etwas irritiert, weil es sehr wenig war und sagte der Bedienung, dass ich aber die große Suppe wollte, worauf sie sagte, dass das eine Große sei. Das war tatsächlich die Größe, die in anderen Restaurants und Imbissen als klein gilt. Somit war der Preis-ich glaube um die 9 Euro- eine absolute Frechheit, zumal keine der Einlagen drin war. So teuer isst man nicht einmal im KaDeWe. Ich habe mich unterm Strich einfach nur verarscht gefühlt und da ich nicht einmal ansatzweise satt davon geworden bin, musste ich mir danach erst woanders etwas zu essen suchen. Hier sollten die Größen und Zutaten wirklich mal transparent gemacht werden, damit nicht noch mehr Leute für ein kleines Schälchen Nudeln mit Flüssigkeit 9 Euro berappen müssen, was nicht einmal geschmeckt hat. Wenn das taiwanesisches Essen war, dann gute Nacht. Da schmeckt jede Tütensuppe besser. Fazit: komplette Geldverschwendung

We were pleasantly surprised by this address, already by the great kindness of the manager and especially by the dishes which were all delicious. I found flavors that I had discovered in Taiwan and the portions were generous. My vegan friend who accompanied me had no problem finding suitable dishes and they were just as delicious. I really recommend this address and will undoubtedly come back during my next visit to Dresden.

Words can't even begin to describe how terrible this place is! After seeing some online reviews, we thought this place was decent and ordered a couple of dishes. DO NOT TRUST THE OTHER REVIEWS! I repeat, they are misleading. Firstly, the portion sizes were miniscule. The steamed pork buns that cost 16 dollars were smaller than the size of an egg. In the beef noodle soup that they only sell on weekends, there was practically no meat at all. On top of that, they cannot cook at all. The broth was abysmal, having been severely watered down. No amount of seasoning could save that monstrosity. If you take a look at the general rating, it seems ok. However, from first-hand experience, I can tell you that this place is an absolute scam, led by a greedy woman. Of all the restaurants I have been to in Europe, this was undoubtedly my greatest letdown and regret. Shame on this restaurant!

Great place with a charming "Taipei City backstreet" type character. The food offered a welcome break from the typical brand of generalised Asian cooking that i've come to find all over Germany. Highlight was the popcorn chicken along with the veggies. You'll have to keep up the search if you're looking for a good dumpling place in Dresden though. Or at least the steamed Baozi we tried were dry and bland, tasting suspiciously as though they had come from a packet. Otherwise great service and unique flavours, a sure recommendation if you stay away from the dumplings. 👍😋

My friend is from Taiwan and said it was very accurate even though the waiters were Chinese. Very good, can only be recommended.

This place immediately catched my attention as the photos of the dishes looked different from the average European Chinese restaurants, closer to the street food I really enjoyed in SE Asia. I asked the super nice lady for recommendations as I was nee to Taiwanese cuisine, and ended up ordering the 3 cup chicken, which was amazing. The taste, the smell, the texture, everything was perfect. I can 100% recommend this place, it's one of those rare hidden gems you sometimes stumble upon out of pure luck, don't miss it of you're nearby! Edit: because of this experience, I came to visit Taiwan. The food is amazing here, the people are nice and everything is clean and tidy. Thanks for the inspiration!

A nice small restaurant serving great Taiwanese food. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. Service was super quick during Saturday lunch. The dishes are reasonably priced. Clear vegetarian selection. Highly recommended!

The restaurant is actually a typical snack bar like in Asia. Therefore great and authentic for those who know it. Service was also nice. Knowing English has an advantage. I found the portion size of popcorn chicken to be too small. Especially the chicken. Tastes great!

As the boss lady said, it tastes exactly like what I had in Taiwan! Friends who have the opportunity to visit Dresden must stop by the restaurant to express their support!

I really can't recommend this place. I walked 1 hour one way from the opposite side of the river to arrive at the place, which seemed to have potential: a Taiwanese seller, a messy-hoarded authentic Taiwanese vibe, and spicy chilli oil dedicated to Chinese and Taiwanese levels beside Western evels. But they served the most awful beef noodle I ever had. It was super watery and only at a lukewarm temperature. It seems like they forgot the seasoning and salt. GREEDY place charged 15,5 euros for the big portion, which was just a regular-size bowl with barely edible homemade noodles that were so undercooked and a few thinly sliced beef. This, hands down, was the worst Taiwanese beef noodle I ever had. I ordered that because they said it was only served every Friday and Saturday?! So I thought, why not? Oh boy, I regret spending €60 for two beef noodles, a tiny portion of chicken popcorn (which again, we ordered a big portion, tasted ok, probably the best you could have at this sad place), and sichuan beef with rice (which was a few beef slices and veggies, and that was okay too, not wow at all), and three beers. In the end, I couldn't even finish the beef noodle, and the girl didn't even ask why or ask about the food. I don't know why, but a lot of people went there the same time we were there. I bet they were trapped with this pseudo-authentic Taiwanese. They should switch businesses; apparently they can't cook!

This place took me straight back to Taiwan. I had the braised pork rice the first time I visited and it was great. I tried out the beef noodle soup and popcorn chicken the next time - also delicious! The noodles are handmade and have really good chewiness. The people running the place are very friendly and warm and the food came super quick even though it was rush hour. Highly recommend!

I came to Germany to study German by myself, and I chose the city of Dresden. I was surprised that there was a Taiwanese restaurant here, and it was very close to the school where I attended classes. The proprietress, Natasha, was very kind. After that, I missed the local flavor and there was a place to go. Got it 😋

One of the few restaurants in Dresden that offers an authentic-feeling menu that doesn’t bow down to local taste. Always enjoy coming here, the popcorn chicken and Chinese pancakes are delicious!

出差時，每到了新城市，第一件事情就是google 台灣食物。 包含英法德的各間台灣料理都很不錯，但Taiwan Tapas肯定是那個，最能夠讓你經歷了幾個禮拜的出差後，眼睛閉上，一口吃下，就回到台灣的地方。 蛋餅 就是巷口早餐店那種，有著薄薄酥酥的皮，夾上蔥蛋，再淋上淡淡的金蘭醬油膏，最單純最純粹的蛋餅，請一定要點。 炸豆腐 不是臭豆腐，但是軟嫩多汁的內裏，酥脆的外皮，搭上蒜味醬油，跟台東福原有異曲同工之妙，請務必要點。 因為ESMC的關係，相信再來這邊會有很多台灣人，看到這則評價，不用猶豫，來就對了。 不過，非重口味的人，記得請老闆娘醬油加少一點。

Ganz einfaches Restaurant, das nicht mit Ambiente, dafür umso mehr mit authentischer Küche überzeugt. Die Rindersuppe mit selbstgemachten Nudeln (nur Freitag u Samstag) und das Sichuan Beef sowie das Rose oil chicken sind meine Favoriten.

Ich konnte die kleine Portion nicht essen!! zu scharf! Uninspiriertes Gemüse auf kleinen Tellerchen! 3 Sterne gebe ich nur, weil man mir ein anderes Gericht kostenlos brachte, aber frisch war auch das nicht!

I was so excited to see this little "restaurant" on the map as I was searching for places to eat in Dresden. The ladies there were also very welcoming, a bit of language barrier here and there but was not really a problem for me, since I also come from Asia. The foods reminded me of what my grandmother used to make for me when I was a kid, it was very delicious and authentic! The shop definitely needs more personnel, since there was a big line and the other guests after me had to wait relatively long for their food. Other than that, I would love to come back if I ever went to Dresden again 😊

We ordered Rose Oil Chicken (it is good and the chicken is very tender, if you like mild flavour you will like it), Pop Corn Chicken (it has rich flavour and I really like it❤️) ,Fried Dumplings (similar to frozen dumplings in the supermarket and it's delicious), and Crispy Tofu (it's soft and has mild flavour)

This has to be one of the slowest places I’ve ever been to, we waited for our dishes for over an hour. Insane Nothing that we ordered required that much work. We are aware that there’s only one cook, but they should be better prepared, We ordered at 6pm and our food got to our table around 7:15. It’s a shame because the food was really tasty and authentic. If the food is gonna take a while please let the client know so they can decide if it’s worth waiting for it.
