Today, on Mother's Day, we were looking forward to the asparagus buffet. The welcome was friendly, and the waiter was also very keen to move us to another seat, as it was getting very warm inside by the window, which was directly exposed to the sun. We finally decided to sit outside, which was a better choice. The first appetizers, such as the asparagus soup and antipasti, were promising. But when we turned to the asparagus, we were unfortunately very disappointed. Neither the white nor the green asparagus was edible – both were far too firm and crunchy, which shouldn't be the case with asparagus. Furthermore, some of the asparagus wasn't fully peeled, making it even harder in places. Even the tips of the white asparagus were extremely firm, which spoiled our appetite. For a buffet in this price range, we would have expected the asparagus to at least be properly cooked. Even though the waitress responded very kindly to our complaint and offered us a drink, we lost the desire to linger, so we left early. It's a shame because we were really looking forward to a nice meal.

Yesterday we had breakfast in the café with the whole family - and it was a complete success. The breakfast buffet is really great: huge selection, everything fresh and lovingly prepared. Each of us has found something suitable. We would particularly like to highlight the great service: The employee, Ms. Mel, was warm, attentive and took excellent care of us. Very bad experience. It started with the drink, we were not asked if we wanted to eat something even though we had clearly looked at the menu. No one came by to order that anymore. Finally went inside to place the order. Apparently they thought folding napkins was more important than helping customers. It was not known why. In between we had to ask several times how the order was going. We wanted to leave and walked inside to let them know, but then they said 2 more minutes. So we sat down again. We sat inside to keep an eye on things. But then unfortunately different dishes arrived than what we had ordered. So then it took even longer. We waited 1.5 hours for 2 small pizzas and a schnitzel with fries. The dish was not completely served, the salad and basil were missing. We still had to ask for that. No extra drinks were offered to compensate for it all. We said we wanted water at their expense. We also noticed that they were confused with several customers. Overall a disappointing experience. 😣

This week there were four of us in the daily... Unfortunately a bad decision! Being very blinded by the sun inside and therefore having to contend with very high temperatures, we were unable to change the table even when asked. Unfortunately there were no blinds or curtains either. The waitress said everything was fully booked… several tables in the shade but not occupied. We only received the cocktails we ordered after several requests. Food was OK. Unfortunately no recommendation at all.

The service staff was very friendly and often asked at the tables whether everything was OK, which we found very good. Pleasant start to the day and we would come again :-)

Went here for the breakfast buffet for the first time today with a friend. We are thrilled, great selection, freshly prepared and prepared with great attention to detail. Hot drinks are included, as well as water and juices. No wish was left unfulfilled. Big praise to the super friendly service staff, Mel put a smile on our faces as soon as we entered the restaurant. Thank you very much for that, we would love to come back.

We were there today and had reserved a table for 14 people at 12:30 p.m. It was very close together and we had ordered a pre-ordered Easter menu. After a previous request for vegetarian food because one person was a vegetarian, we were told on the phone no problem, we would make a mixed platter... which wasn't really the case after waiting for 2 hours and then the food arrived. Due to all the stress (since our little one was getting more and more restless, she was 1 year old) I had lost my appetite and so I didn't eat anything anymore... one person canceled our stay due to illness so there were only 13 of us and we should still pay for 14... I don't recommend this to anyone else. There wasn't really a choice for €26 per person (without drinks). Well, I've never been so dissatisfied in my life. I'm not usually one to write reviews but this time I couldn't help it.

Nice ambience. The portion size of salmon should perhaps be reconsidered. I got 125 grams of salmon and 5 smaller shrimps as a main course including side dishes for €28. When I asked, it was confirmed to me that this portion size was a requirement...then I went to wooden spoons. I have to maintain my weight of 100 kg (flashing smiley)... We had an appetizer

We can't understand all the negative reviews. The employees (Mel and Wiki) do their job with passion. You are always warmly welcomed and they also try to fulfill special requests. We always like the food. Also compliments to the kitchen. We'd love to come back. Keep it up........!

We had breakfast buffet. The offer left nothing to be desired. The staff was friendly and helpful. The point deduction for the ambience comes from the volume that prevailed in the restaurant. It can't do anything about it every day, but it was still annoying.

I've actually tried it several times, but the food is just not good. In addition, you always have to speak to the waiters at least twice. But you can visit the shop for an evening with drinks.

We ate at your place this evening. My boyfriend opted for the Mexican buffet, while I had a schnitzel. First of all, both dishes were really delicious and freshly prepared. Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time at the beginning and even had to call the server over so we could order. We noticed the same thing at the table next to us. The server was more concerned with fixing her hair and looking around the restaurant... plus, we were sitting right next to the counter. So, I could see when my food was ready. The cooks rang the bell several times, but my food sat under the hot plate for about 10 minutes before it was brought to me. I thought that was a real shame. Also, the portion of mushroom cream sauce was very limited... Well, all in all, it was okay, but I don't think we'll be coming back for a while.

We were there spontaneously today for the breakfast buffet. Got a table straight away. The missing dishes at the buffet were quickly replenished. The offer was okay. I thought your employee from Brandenburg was the best 🤣👍top woman. I'm from the area myself...everyone else is too, of course...super friendly staff. We'd love to come back.

After an hour of waiting it would take another 10 minutes. However, after an hour and a half we still had not received any food. Then just left. No clear reason why the food didn't come through.

Today the four of us had breakfast every day. The buffet was diverse. Everything was freshly prepared. There were several coffee variations to choose from. Very friendly and open-minded staff. Nice atmosphere. Gladly again.

Great breakfast. Great buffet with homemade salads. Fully automatic coffee machines that you can brew yourself. (latte, cappuccino, cocoa, coffee, tea and juices all included in the price. *16.90€*) I celebrate the waitress named Mel. She is very relaxed, always friendly and just great. Great service. We have been there several times and always come back.

We were there spontaneously for breakfast on a weekday. The lady who runs everything in the morning loves her job and you can tell that straight away. We found the value for money here to be excellent as all hot drinks are included, and there is also something for everyone when it comes to food. We'll definitely be back

The breakfast buffet in the “Täglich” restaurant was great! The selection of fresh products left nothing to be desired. What made the breakfast even more pleasant, however, was the very, very nice waitress Mel, who looked after us throughout the entire breakfast. She was incredibly attentive and friendly. She took care of our needs with a smile. Their service was quick and professional, but always warm and personal. I can highly recommend breakfast at “Täglich” – not only because of the quality of the buffet, but also because of the great atmosphere, which was enhanced by Mel’s first-class service! 10 out of 10 points

The breakfast was very tasty! Large selection of homemade antipasti and for cold cuts lovers there was also a lot to choose from. A really nice staff, especially an energetic and friendly woman with a short haircut. We were very satisfied! Thank you very much!

Waited 90 minutes for a salad 2 months ago, drinks came after an hour. The bread was black. No excuses, now second and final attempt: tea and cake. When we asked if the fruit cake was moldy because it looked so hairy in the display case, we were told that it was. We were not offered an alternative and he stayed where he was. The staff didn't seem to care at all. Don't order ANYTHING anymore.

The food was very good, high quality. The only thing that can be negative is that the pastas can sometimes be too salty. Plus, the food is great!

The friendly waitress with a short haircut was particularly accommodating and positive. She basically read our every wish and always had a quick saying in store. The table for the Christmas party (12 people) was reserved weeks ago. For whatever reason, our table had to be pushed together first. The service staff/bar constantly forgot drinks and desserts, etc., even though there were a maximum of 20 people in the entire store. sat. Service was really a disaster! The food was okay, but could be better.

Visited the Christmas market between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Not many people on a Tuesday and just as few stalls with Christmas-related products. "Essen und trinken" is the main offering on this market. If you come for a Christmas souvenir, you are missing out. Furthermore, there is a decent range of shops in a cozy small city centre, including the "Lookentor" shopping center and striking historic buildings.

We waited an hour for food even though we made a reservation. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant. Too few staff.

Unfortunately our visit to this restaurant was very disappointing! We booked a menu there with a group of 18 people. At lunchtime we received a confirmation email, but in the evening no one in the restaurant knew anything about it. Several groups of people were moved and tables had to be moved. We were given a place no matter what. The service also left a lot to be desired, as we had to pray several times for the drinks to be accepted. After we received drinks 1 hour later, a part was missing or taken incorrectly. The waitress had to ask the counter several times what drinks they were serving there... Two hours later we finally got something to eat. It's a shame, because the food was actually quite good and sufficient! After 3.5 hours we left the restaurant full, but another visit is out of the question for us.

Beautiful location, we had a buffet on site and the food was to die for. Which was definitely absolutely terrible......... The waiters were nice, but they had very little interest in the fact that they also had to take care of the buffet. I understand that not everything can be refilled within 1 minute. But the fact that there is only 1 carafe of water with a perceived content of 1.5 liters for ~ 60 people on site is an indictment. And then I probably had to wait three times for over 20 minutes for it to be refilled! An absolute nonsense. I even left the carafe on the counter where the waitresses were standing, but no one felt responsible. So please leave more carafes, or put some on each table instead of one carafe for the entire customer, and simply leave them empty for 20 minutes. The same also applied to cold cuts at the buffet.

Was sent away despite a confirmed reservation. We would have had to choose a table, but this is not possible online. The response to the tip was no matter. It felt like the table was simply allocated differently and a reason was then sought to blame the customer. Before the reservation was mentioned they wanted to give us a table. But then suddenly it didn't seem to work anymore. The group of 5 people couldn't eat anymore that day because everything else was full. If you don't want a reservation then you shouldn't offer it. This is how you ruin the evening for 5 people at the same time.

This was our second time for breakfast at Daily and we left completely satisfied. Plenty of choice, delicious food and, above all, the service was top. As the only service person, Mel greeted every guest, asked about their satisfaction and was also in the mood to joke. Thumbs up👍🏼 This is how the staff in the restaurant must be!

Today I went to Lingen for breakfast with my girlfriend. Super friendly, very motivated and attentive, empathetic service with a delicious, large brunch menu. Great atmosphere. Price/performance ratio fits... 👌I can highly recommend it

One star only because you have to specify something!! We had reserved a table online for the breakfast buffet for 2 people at 11:30 a.m. The confirmation came promptly. When we arrived at the location on time, we were immediately greeted by the "friendly" dark-haired lady. We would have had to reserve online three days in advance, or by phone on the same day. Why is there an online reservation for the same day? Even though the restaurant was only half empty, she would now have to stock up especially for us!? Shaking her head, she and her colleague then got upset about us guests. We then left the restaurant and were warmly welcomed into the Cafe Extrablatt am Markt. And all without reservations or any phone calls!!

Had breakfast here today, plenty of choice and the service was also great. Can only recommend it.

We were there last Friday, August 4th, 2023 in the evening with 4 people plus a small child. We had super friendly, attentive, smart service. The drinks were good and the food was very tasty. However, the salad for 10 euros is a joke. It wasn't even a handful and the 2 thin slices of ciabatta didn't make it any better. I also found the chicken stripes 4.5 pieces for 5.90 euros to be quite steep. Still only 3 stars for a child-unfriendly restaurant. When I asked if my 3-year-old child could get his fries before our meal, he said no. It's a shame that the restaurant doesn't have the flexibility to prefer simple fries. My son wanted some ice cream afterwards. I don't understand how you can offer children's meals, but not even a simple scoop of ice cream?!? When I asked if a scoop of vanilla ice cream would be possible, this was answered in the negative, but I asked afterwards and this wasn't a problem. After 20 minutes the scoop of ice cream was still not there. We asked the unfriendly waiter with the glasses why it was taking so long. We received the stupid answer that we shouldn't complain, after all, there's nothing like that on the menu. The young man with glasses then went into the kitchen and probably made the scoop of ice cream himself and had our great waitress bring it. How outrageous do you have to be to provocatively squeeze this scoop of ice cream into the smallest bowl for a 3 year old child? Good thing the glasses from the buffet were right next to our table. I took one away and served the child the ice cream fairly. ABSOLUTELY UNFRIENDLY TO CHILDREN

I thought the homemade lemonade was very good and the tomato soup was also very good. What wasn't so good was the bread. My mother ordered a tuna rabe which was also very tasty

Fantastic pizza! The service was also initially very good. When clearing up, we asked if half of the leftover pizza could be packed up, which was assured. After clearing away we were initially ignored. When asked, they said the pizza had been accidentally thrown away. When we asked another service person again, we were promised to prepare the pizza to take away again as an apology. When we eventually opened the box we brought, there was a very dry, tiny and completely different pizza inside. With all understanding for the oversight, the handling of this was very unprofessional and not very service-oriented. In the end we should only pay for half the pizza - after all.

I had a very tasty meal, in a nice atmosphere and very friendly service. Price/performance was top. If I'm in Lingen again, I'd love to come back. But I do have a suggestion. The solid herb butter was difficult to spread on the fish and the breading tore during the first attempts. My idea is to offer the herb butter melted. There is also the option to spread something out over the side dishes. As already said, it's just a suggestion and doesn't affect the stars!

Today, on my birthday, we went to Täglich Lingen for breakfast. We were immediately greeted in a friendly manner by Melanie, who explained to us how the buffet worked since it was our first time there. She said that the salads were all freshly prepared by her this morning and you could taste it, just like your mother did :). In general, the conversation with her was relaxed and really nice! The buffet was just great!! I never like scrambled eggs, but this was just so delicious. Everything else tasted great too. We could have as many drinks as we wanted. All in all, it was a really great birthday breakfast and we will definitely come back again!! Thanks Mel!

This morning (Tuesday) I spontaneously came to the breakfast buffet without a reservation and left feeling full and satisfied at the end. At the beginning we were asked if we were there for the first time. That was us. Everything was then explained and shown to us in detail. We were also informed that we could contact the staff at any time if we had any requests. The staff were in a great mood and made you feel very welcome. All dishes were neatly presented and labeled. The selection of homemade salads alone is worth an extra star. There's no better way to start the day. We'd love to come back.

Beautiful city center. You can sit well at the market square. Great weekly market on Wednesday and Saturday. Cycling to the canal with a picnic is recommended. The same goes for the lunch menu at “Täglich”.

We were guests at the “Täglich Lingen” at the beginning of the week... My husband, a friend and I - placed in the back corner by the window so that we can observe clearly (hihihi)! We would like to (and quite unironically) give a big compliment to the service staff “MEL”! There should be a lot more of this kind of cheeky, friendly and super relaxed staff and it should be preserved, dear management - because in this day and age it is a real feat to find good employees!! We would like to thank you very much for the funny sayings, the great treatment of us as customers and overall simply for the great ambience that we were able to enjoy that day! The delicious food and drink is of course included - greetings to the kitchen, simply great... We'd love to come back any time!

Always the daily in Lingen but never Lingen again. Every day there is the very best bartender...Everyone who works there is very nice and highly professional. 4 layers of schnapps tried the drink Mamma Cita. It's worth it. Gastronomy at its best. Any time.

Unfortunately, the breakfast buffet for €20 is not worth it at all. Far too little choice! The only positive thing was that hot drinks were included in the price. We won't come again.

Been to Lingen, Meppen and Rheine. Generally good shop. Here and there, the food was sometimes okay, sometimes very good. Generally not much to complain about. Service is generally good too. It's nice that there are vegetarian and vegan options. Cocktails are always delicious too. Visually it is also appealing. The only thing I found was that the breakfast buffet wasn't that good for the price (yet). There wasn't enough refills that day and in general a little more choice would have been nice, but otherwise it was great.

We went there for the lunch buffet with 5 people because friends recommended it to us. However, we were a little disappointed... the containers were mostly empty (they weren't refilled without being spoken to), a lot of salads from breakfast were left standing and some of the food was cold. Despite fewer visitors, the service only came if people actively drew attention to themselves.

For the hefty (albeit usual) price of over €16 for the breakfast buffet, you might expect fresh bread rolls from local bakeries. Instead, there are baked ones from the discounter and only one type. Profit maximization or not, that's the wrong approach, a total of 4 guests (customers) with me were there for the last time today.

Fantastic spot! I went several times over my two weeks in Lingen and each time was wonderful. Food was delicious. Servers were super friendly and English speaking (I tried my German, but I'm grateful they didn't sit and watch me struggle😂) Prices were more than reasonable for the quality and portions. Will definitely come back whenever work brings me to Lingen.

We were there on a Friday and unfortunately we didn't like it. The extra request for an exchange of the insert could not be promised and was not. Ice cream dessert too expensive for the performance. Glasses were dirty. Toilets were not clean and no toilet paper was available. Tables were not cleaned between guests. Unfortunately not a good impression. Don't come back.

A very nice concept, but there is a bit of chaos here, hardly any order and little overview. Otherwise we're in the Rheine and that's a world away. Things are going really smoothly

Quite pleasant here. I had a burger menu, which unfortunately was only served lukewarm. The burger was already cold on the inside. After I mentioned it to the waiter, the burger was briefly warmed up in the microwave and I got it back.

Come there regularly, you can simply eat well there. One cannot complain about the prices. atmosphere is good. The service is very good. Recommended.
