I was extremely pleasantly surprised. It was incredibly busy, but we were still served very quickly and got our food almost in record time. The atmosphere is lovely, and the service is very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. And, as usual, more than enough. I will definitely be back. What a great experience.

Exciting Greek restaurant with good food

This was our first time at SYRTAKI. (Sunday evening) The service was extremely friendly, prompt, and helpful. The number of servers was also more than sufficient. The food was delicious, whether it was gyros, liver, or simply a selection of appetizers. The portions are generous, and the price is absolutely justified these days. We'd be happy to go again.

I've heard a lot of really good things about it, and today was my first time eating there. The manager let me order a drink after I waited 20 minutes. After that, I waited over an hour until someone came to take my order. Even that didn't happen. I went back and asked when I could order, and they told me I had to wait a moment, a colleague would be here soon. No one came. I felt like I wasn't welcome, even though it was my first time there. That wasn't necessary... I'd rather not give them any stars at all.

Hi, six of us visited the restaurant today and were greeted warmly outside. If the ambiance wasn't so busy, reservations are limited, and two or three potted plants could be placed next to each other to create a cozy atmosphere. The dishes on our plates were beautifully presented, some a bit greasy, and on another plate we found frozen vegetables, which should be unusual for dishes in this price range. The iceberg lettuce and carrot starter salad wasn't exactly eye-catching, I bet it lacked a certain eye-catcher. As already mentioned, I would put out a few plants, play different music, and if the lights are up, perhaps use a light projector to create colorful lighting effects.

The food is delicious, but the prices are so high that we won't be coming back very often. Unfortunately!

Food to take away: I noticed that the salad is getting smaller. I really like it and could see it happening. It's a shame, and the pork has been overcooked (tough) more often than not. Otherwise, the staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is nice. Very child-friendly.

The staff seems listless. Food is served with ready-made sauces. The music is quite loud. Plus point...food was served quickly.

It was okay. My empty beer glass sat there for two hours without being cleared away, nor did anyone ask for a new one. The food was pretty bland. A bold interpretation of gyros in Metaxa... you couldn't taste it, but with enough salt it went down.

Sorry guys, but there are many better restaurants in the area. The salad for the starter, of course one portion was forgotten, consists of iceberg lettuce, carrots, and ready-made dressing. Absolutely unacceptable. It's not even your eyes that have any appetite. My portion was good and plentiful, while my friend's was, let's put it kindly, "manageable"! Four croquettes and some meat; every kid's plate has more on it. Everything seems sweetly and lacklusterly prepared. You also constantly get the impression that you're eating ready-made ingredients. My conclusion here: We will definitely never come back and can only advise everyone against this restaurant.

First of all I would like to highlight the super nice staff. This is second to none! The food was very good and tasted good. The portions were also very large. We'll be back.

Top food but relatively expensive. We were visiting there, coming from Bavaria. I don't know such high prices in our region.

I would say quantity instead of class. We were there on Christmas Day, it felt more like mass processing than cozy food. Maybe due to the holiday. Waiters are very nice but completely uncoordinated. We had 6 different waiters at the table who didn't coordinate with each other. So we had to order the espresso three times before we finally got it. Food was mediocre, the garlic potatoes were boring fried potatoes (deep fried rather than fried) with some garlic poured over them afterwards and they were cold. Just like the rice in the children's menu. The children's schnitzel was good though. Unfortunately there were only canned or frozen vegetables with the fish. The mushroom sauce had already separated. I won't go to a restaurant for that. I liked that there were also small portions. Atmosphere like at the train station, loud and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the toilet is not handicapped accessible, which is a disgrace for a relatively new restaurant. I wouldn't eat there again.

The food was great. The service is very nice, but you've only had the menu in your hand for 5 minutes. Someone comes along and asks what you want to eat. A little more time to choose would be nice. Then we ordered and got a salad and a starter at the same time, which wasn't a bad thing, but we hadn't finished the starter yet when the main course was already brought out. It seemed like a rejection, which was a real shame because the restaurant is really pretty. Which we did too What we didn't like was that the music was way too loud, so people talked very loudly and you had to shout at each other at the table in order to understand the conversation. Otherwise the people are very nice and attentive and most importantly the food is great.

There are much better Greeks now. The sauces for the dish are not special, but they should be. Ouzo is only served reluctantly, although this could at least help make up for the not so good food. You stay thrifty but although the prices have fallen again for a long time, unfortunately they are no longer falling for the dishes. A plate of pork fillet (purchase 7-8€ per kg, where you have approx. 300 grams on the plate, so value of goods approx. 2€) with fries (value of goods approx. 30-40 cents per plate) but then take over 20€, it just doesn't fit anymore. I recommend the Greeks in Neundorf near Staßfurt. Excellent food for affordable prices and as much ouzo as you can drink for free.

We've been craving Greek again for a long time. Absolutely great quality, you can't complain. But I am very disappointed with the starter soup for €5.50, 4 spoons of soup is a disgrace.

The food is very good. A bit tight for wheelchair users and should definitely be specified in advance in order to be able to optimize the space reservation. Unfortunately we forgot and then had real problems getting out of the occupied rows of chairs. It was very full and in order to get a place we were given a time until when we could stay there. Is not recommended. We were then no longer offered drinks 30 minutes before the time limit. Too bad.

Good food at prices that are no longer particularly cheap. But unfortunately that is common. The portions are well sized and taste good. The service was friendly, but smelled of cold smoke several times. Very positive: card payment is possible and the toilets are very clean!

It's very sad when food is served that has nothing to do with the level advertised.!! And it's really sad when, because you're offended by the complaints, you can't/don't even want to order a taxi for 90-year-old women because you supposedly don't have any taxi numbers in Schönebeck.!!! Orders for pickup are generally not prepared/packed on time and sometimes not correctly. And it was cold too. The Metaxa sauce and fries are weak. Fried potatoes are not fried potatoes like they should be made from fresh potatoes/more like fries - also weak and not seasoned. The positive thing is that there are also dishes for small appetites.

I can't understand the positive reviews. We ate there on February 3rd, 2024 and it wasn't tasty :( The grill plates were always amazing, only this time they were tough and inedible. After a few bites we had the food returned and immediately said we wouldn't pay for it. Conclusion: Service friendly Food wasn't good Drinks delicious Atmosphere could also be better
