Delicious food! Beautiful views! We ate Wiener Schnitzel, salmon with potato salad.

Good restaurant, close to the station. Food is great. Although its on the banks of the lake the of the lake from inside is a bit limited. The food was okay as it is a Austrian/German cuisine.

Staff seemed stressed. There were also discussions in front of us between the employees while waiting for seats. Food was good, especially the portion. Dessert was great too. Owner has a certain sense of humor and a way of dealing with things. It can seem disrespectful, but it's not.

An absolute must when you are on Lake Constance. Cozy restaurant and a beautiful view of the lake. In summer and winter you can eat and relax here very well. The team is very friendly and helpful. The price-performance ratio is fair and the portions are very filling. We have been here many times and will continue to come 😊

It's a disgrace how they treat customers here. The waiter did not respond to our request to sit in the shade. We were literally sent away. Better go to the pizzeria next door. They welcome every customer warmly. And no, I wasn't the competition from next door but a guest!!!

The s'Wirtshaus am See is located directly on the shore of the Swabian Sea and therefore lives up to its name. The ambience is very modern, but seems a bit unfinished to me with the mix of wood and concrete. It is well visited by tourists. The prices can probably be described as normal, although I find them excessive for the quality offered. The service was very attentive and equally friendly. For me personally, he walked past our table a little too often. Our food came quickly and was hot. To me personally, the dish that was advertised as “homemade” seemed anything but that. Individual components were too reminiscent of convenience. As I said, it was my perception, which of course I could be wrong. All in all, I would come back here at any time to have a snack, drink a few beers and chat with friends.

Delicious coffee, I had a good veggie burger including avocado with fries and my partner had a great salad with fried chicken. Nice place, well organized service. Highly recommended!

Nice shop, very inviting, service very hectic and came across as if he wanted everyone out quickly and didn't look at guests while talking. Food was delicious, burger meat unfortunately not homemade, very rubbery and well done, but burger overall was OK. The schnitzel dishes were good.

We went there twice during our stay in the region and both times the food was simply fantastic! The people there are really very friendly and accommodating, the cheese spaetzle, the schnitzel, the cabbage and potato salad, as well as the roast and the bread dumplings with wild mushrooms were EXCELLENTLY GOOD! I would particularly like to emphasize the possibility of being able to order some or many dishes smaller!

A very tasty Swabian meal. I highly recommended the fillet tips with cheese spaetzle and mushroom sauce. Today the restaurant was very busy and that's why the service took a little longer.

Stay away, not a good experience! No table available online for two days, when you call only voicemail with no option to leave a message. Upon personal contact, we were informed that no table for two was available. Went by in person later - two people were sitting at a table for six, lots of seats left. We also enjoyed the pork knuckle on Friday evening and actually got in touch on time. The restaurant is also on the tourist mile. With our experience, we would absolutely advise everyone not to go there. Further away from the beach promenade there are definitely better Swabian restaurants with excellent service and a willingness to accept guests.

I piatti sono ben curati, il personale gentile e attento. Io ho preso un filetto di Sandra su letto di zucca con riduzione di Riesling. Super ! I prezzi sono in linea con quel che si trova in Germania per questo livello di qualità.

It was a very nice evening. We wanted to pamper ourselves after a long journey and stopped at the inn by the lake (I did some research beforehand). We were immediately invited to the table (without a reservation), even though the restaurant is quite small and almost all the tables (around 12-15?) were occupied. The service was fantastic, very friendly gentleman, very polite and helpful. The ambience creates a very cozy atmosphere, the light is a pleasant yellow warm, you can hardly hear the guests at the neighboring table. And then our order came after about a 15-17 minute wait (woow) - our oldest is a teenager and he's always hungry. His portion (across the tavern) was huge, everything your heart could desire was on his plate. He was endlessly happy and enjoyed it fantastically. My fish (mushroom fillets on lentils) was also mmmm, especially the lentils were so tasty! The youngest ate schnitzel with wedges and immediately said: “The wedges have never been so good”. And a deer ragout from my husband was also brilliant! So, my dears, if you want to spoil your families - definitely come to the Wirtshaus am See! My son, the older one, was fascinated by the boys' quick work in the kitchen - it's open, so you can look in from some of the tables if you sit facing the kitchen. Thank you ✨😘👌

We wanted to eat here on Wednesday evening, half of the tables inside were empty and almost everything outside. Although that's understandable given the colder weather. When I asked if there was room for two people, the waitress said “reservation only”. Yes, everything is clear, I checked the site and all the time slots were still free! We were there around 6:15 p.m. and theoretically could have made a reservation for 6:30 p.m. I'm seriously wondering if you couldn't have just briefly checked the reservation situation? Instead we were brushed off straight away. I think there were more than enough places available and reservable. It's a shame, I would have liked better service based on the reviews.

Quite nice here, but prices like in ancient Rome. By the way, this applies to all restaurants on the promenade. Maybe that's why they're all poorly documented.

Good restaurant for years. The staff is quick and friendly, the furnishings are pleasing. When the weather/season is appropriate, there is a lovely beer garden right on the lake. The only thing that saddens me is that the beer doesn't come directly from the region. But it's still good, from the stein. Cheers.

Schon mal eine blitzsaubere Küche gesehen in der industriell hergestellte Produkte aufgewärmt und dekorativ hübsch angerichtet auf den Tisch kommen?.... Ist hier zu besichtigen. Mit gut bürgerlich, richtig gekochten Gerichten hat das hier nichts zu tun. Die komplette Palette verfügbarer Convenience-Produkte kann hier gegen gutes Geld von der Speisekarte abgerufen werden. Erstaunlich die guten Bewertungen.... Nachdem man hier gegessen hat, ist man jedoch etwas verunsichert. Hat die hohe Qualität der industriell vorgefertigten Produkte oder deren optische Aufhübschung zu diesen guten Bewertungen geführt? Der allseits bekannte Einheitsgeschmack dessen was dort serviert wird kann es nicht gewesen sein. Ansonsten: kalter, zugiger Gastraum lediglich lieblos auf rustikal getrimmt, Bedienungspersonal ist unpersönlich, seltsam oberflächlich, rennt in Lederhosen (sieht unecht aus) und Dirndl (sieht noch unechter aus) herum = Stilbruch, nicht authentisch, aufgesetzte Freundlichkeit. Kurz gesagt: kein Ort zum gemütlichen Verweilen und erst recht nicht zum gut essen.

Nothing special to be honest. Staff were friendly but the food was a bit disappointing. Still recommended, but don't expect too much from it.

We stopped here for a short visit to Friedrichshafen because the atmosphere appealed to us. We wanted something small to eat so we ate Allgäu cheese spaetzle with a side salad. The side salad is great (picture 1). Yoghurt sauce is delicious and freshly prepared. The cheese spaetzle wasn't drowned in cheese. After the meal, a fresh waffle with apple sauce was perfect for dessert.

We ate here several times during our vacation and were extremely satisfied. The iced coffee (photo) is also really good. I have to emphasize the flexibility and friendliness. It's great to sit on rustic benches outside right by the lake, and there's an authentic atmosphere inside.

We ate there twice while on vacation because we enjoyed it so much. However, due to the high occupancy, a table should be reserved if you want to sit in the restaurant. You can usually find a table outside. Price-performance ratio was right.
