I'd never heard of the restaurant in Geyen before. We went there for the first time yesterday, and it was INCREDIBLY GOOD! From the food to the ambiance to the service, you can tell how much heart and expertise go into the restaurant. It was the best Indian food I've ever had! We'll definitely be back :)

A very good selection of Indian cuisine. Very authentic and not comparable to many pseudo-Indian restaurants. The tamarind dip went particularly well with the delicious naan bread.

An absolute favorite place – authentic, warm, and delicious! We've been coming to this wonderful Indian restaurant every week since it opened two years ago – and for good reason. The comfortably furnished rooms and the pleasant covered terrace create a relaxed, inviting atmosphere where you immediately feel at home. The restaurant is a family business run with a lot of passion. The owner and his wife often serve themselves and are always warm and attentive. The restaurant's culinary offerings are a welcome departure from many other Indian restaurants. The menu is varied and offers authentic specialties from North Indian cuisine – a true taste experience! Every week we look forward to our little escape with delicious food, attentive service, and an all-around cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We've eaten at the restaurant several times and have always been very satisfied. This was the first time we tried the catering service for a birthday party. We were extremely satisfied with both the service and the quantity and quality of the food. Highly recommended!

It was freezing cold in the restaurant. And quite expensive! A small garlic naan costs €4.50. How much does it cost to make? What a pity.

Yesterday I had dinner at Swagat for the first time. I haven't eaten Indian food very often, maybe because I don't like spicy food. But yesterday was so great and delicious, I would like to share it here! I had a cauliflower curry with lamb and the other three dishes from my fellow guests were simply delicious and aromatic. The service is attentive and friendly, the rooms could be designed a little differently, for example with warm tones on the walls, that would be a great ambience. We would love to come back!

Incredibly good! The food is really great, lots of fresh spices and herbs are used. Really a taste explosion! Everything is beautifully presented, the soup looked like a little work of art. We were there for a birthday dinner and had reserved in advance. The food was very tasty and sufficient. We had mixed pakora, jalfrazi curry and others. The pankoras were OK but I've eaten them better. The curry had a slight spiciness to it. Overall everything is ok. What was a bit annoying was the ambience. I missed the Indian and some of the walls weren't plastered. The price-performance ratio wasn't quite there for us.

Great food in a beautiful courtyard, attentive service and a wide range of different dishes, enough for vegetarians. Had vegetarian vegetables, could have been spicier, but otherwise completely successful. Butter chicken is also highly recommended.

We had reserved a table in the small beer garden (inner courtyard). It's really nice there. The parking situation is a bit difficult, there is a public parking lot about 200 meters away. In our opinion, the service was optimal in terms of time and attention; As a high-level criticism, one could say that the employees could be a little more empathetic or humorous; would fit in with the relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the beer garden. The food also came without much delay. The food was super delicious; We had three different dishes and everyone was happy with the taste of their food. The portion size was perfectly fine. Finally, the expresso was also on point in terms of taste and temperature. We'll definitely be back.

We were in the restaurant in the beer garden, which is beautifully located in a small courtyard! The food was great. In my personal opinion, my dish could have been a little spicier (I had a dish with a level of spiciness of 3). The ambience was wonderful and the service was top! This was definitely not our last visit there!

We really enjoy eating here with our children. I don't really like Indian cuisine that much, but I can always find something here that I still like. I only gave it three stars for the ambience. I think the terrace outside is really nice. However, the ambience inside isn't particularly great and it's quite loud in the back room. But we won't let that stop us from eating here anyway.

Delicious Indian food. The restaurant is located directly on the main street and can be reached via a small side street. There is also a covered terrace outside. You will receive friendly advice on all dishes. Food was delicious. Be sure to try the ice cream for dessert.

In one eye the best restaurant in Pulheim! Even where I used to live in the middle of the city, there wasn't such good Indian food! I've already eaten both on site and to take away and was so incredibly satisfied! When I picked it up, the food was ready after 15 minutes! And super hot! I can absolutely recommend it!

I had reserved a table for Tuesday. It was my first visit to this restaurant and certainly not my last. Starter and main course very tasty. A culinary delight. Very courteous service. A visit is worth it.

We have eaten at Swagat several times and have never been disappointed. Always friendly service and very tasty food. We'd love to come back.

I would like to be able to agree with the positive reviews, but unfortunately we were very disappointed on our first and only visit. The starter was onions bhaji, which unfortunately couldn't have been prepared in fresh oil, they tasted like old fat. The main course was lamb tikka sizzler and tandoori mix grill. According to the menu, “gorgeous (24 hour) marinated chef-style lamb”. I have no idea how tender young meat can get so dry and tough, but certainly not with a good marinade... The mixed grill was also a disappointment, except for the two shrimps, none of the pieces were cooked well, everything was dry and tough. Apart from the poor quality, the price/performance ratio of the dishes is also not right. 5 or 6 pieces of meat with naan on the side, that's it. The grated vegetables are more of a decoration than a side dish. For that, over €20 is pretty ambitious. In response to our appropriate but friendly complaint, we were then told that we should have ordered a curry, they would be better. Unfortunately, grilled dishes would often be dry and would not be particularly Indian, but would be expected by the guests. When we incredulously asked, it was confirmed that they cook more “German-Indian” here, to suit the tastes of their guests. As a guest, it's basically my own fault, I don't have to order anything that they can't do very well?!? Dear host, if I complain constructively, I don't expect you to waive my bill, but a small amount of compensation "on the house" can help to appease the angry guest instead of lecturing him. Why not ask your gastro colleagues how they handle something like this... Instead, in addition to the instruction, my change was, strictly speaking, “stolen” from me. Because if I wordlessly give them €80 on a bill of €78.50 without saying “that’s right” or “the rest is for them”, I actually expect my change back. In my opinion they didn't deserve a tip. So much for the great service that has been praised so often. It's a shame, I would have been happy to find a good Indian restaurant nearby, unfortunately I have to keep looking. Lassi and naan were delicious and you can sit quite nicely in the courtyard. Unfortunately that doesn't help, we were completely disappointed and the service was a bad joke.

Extraordinarily good cuisine, everything we tried was very, very tasty and Indian (not “German-Indian”). Service is super accommodating, prices have also increased but are still reasonable. The ambience could be a little more cozy, but otherwise I highly recommend it.

Sehr gute indische Küche mit großer Auswahl. Wie auf der Karte verwiesen wartet man hier etwas länger auf sein Essen (sofern man nicht vorbestellt hat), aber das warten lohnt sich und ich persönlich warte lieber etwas länger und bekomme dafür frisch zubereitetes Essen.

Ich kann hier nur 3 Sterne geben, und auch nur weil der Service und die Vorspeisen gut waren . Da ich authentisches indisches Essen liebe, war ich bereits in Weit über 50 verschiedenen Restaurants. Daher ist mein Anspruch wahrscheinlich auch Höher. Ich hatte das Curry mit Chicken. Als es serviert wurde konnte ich schon die Unmengen an Sahne riechen. Das kannte ich bisher so nicht. Das Fleisch schmeckte nicht gut und das Curry schmeckte eigentlich überwiegend nach Sahne. Die Gewürze waren zu schwach. Es war das schlechteste Curry, was ich je gegessen habe. Da mir schlecht wurde konnte ich es auch nicht weiter essen. Am nächsten Tag bekam ich Magen Darm Probleme. Ich vertrage aber auch nicht so gut Sahne. Das Curry hat meiner Meinung nach nichts mit authentischem indischen Essen zu tun. Es ist eingedeutscht und meiner Meinung nach viel zu teuer. Das Gericht von meinem Mann war zwar etwas besser, aber auch hier würde Sahne im Überfluss verwendet. Die anderen Gerichte kann ich natürlich nicht beurteilen. Liebevoll angerichtet wären diese ja. Wir kennen indische Küche mit Tomaten, Kokos, Butter Zwiebel und Cashew Basis. Die Variante mit Sahne versaut das Essen leider.

Super leckeres Essen, wertet das kulinarische Angebot im Umkreis enorm auf. Haben mittlerweile verschiedene Gerichte durchprobiert (vegetarisch als auch Fleisch) und können besten Gewissens eine spitzen Qualität bewerten.

Eine kulinarische Entdeckung! Beim ersten Besuch vor Ort waren wir angenehm überrascht von der köstlichen Küche. Das Ambiente gefiel uns ausgesprochen gut – freundlich und makellos sauber. Die Gerichte waren nicht nur geschmacklich ein Highlight, sondern wurden auch ansprechend serviert. Heute haben wir zum zweiten Mal zum Mitnehmen bestellt, und erneut war alles top: die Speisen waren sorgfältig verpackt, herrlich warm und genauso lecker wie in der gemütlichen Atmosphäre vor Ort. Ein absoluter Genuss! Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert.👍🏽👍🏽 Einziges Verbesserungspotenzial vor Ort: Die Musik könnte etwas lauter sein, um die Atmosphäre zu intensivieren. Trotzdem hat dies unseren positiven Gesamteindruck nicht geschmälert, da das Essen und der Service exzellent waren.👍🏽

Dieses indische Restaurant überzeugt durch herausragende Sauberkeit und besonders köstliche Gerichte. Wir gehen sehr gerne hier hin. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es am Wochenende beim Rewe um die Ecke.

Frisches und gutes indisches Essen. Service geht auf alle Wünsche ein. Für vegane oder vegetarische Speisen ein guter Kompromiss mit den Fleischessern. Abholung klappt auch sehr gut und das Essen ist immer noch heiß und frisch. Im Sommer gute Möglichkeit im Biergarten in Ruhe von der Straße zu sitzen (Innenhof).

Großartiges indisches Essen, sehr freundlicher Service, interessierter und freundlicher Gastgeber! Wir kommen aus Hürth und waren mit Freunden spontan essen. Sogar der kleine Hund unserer Freunde durfte mit dabei sein. Wir haben diverse Vorspeisen und Currys bestellt- alles war köstlich, frisch und reichhaltig. Man sagt, das Auge isst mit...hier war es wirklich schön. Der Service war gut. Zum Schluss gab es noch einen netten verbalen Austausch mit dem Gastgeber/ Inhaber. Wir kommen gerne wieder und freuen uns schon auf den Biergarten mit aufschiebbaren Dach.
