Sushi Stars in Frankfurt am Main

Unfortunately no longer convinced. The sushi was delicious, but the rice was dry and fell apart. Above all, price performance is not good. Service is also rather semi. The waitress refused to take our order and referred us to the laufband, even though we were neither sitting on the treadmill nor were the things we wanted running on the treadmill. Unfortunately, it wasn't such a nice dining experience because you had to constantly get up and reach between other people who were sitting on the treadmill. There are certainly other options, but for the prices the restaurant wants, that's reason enough for me not to go there again.

The sushi is very tasty and varied, in terms of food everything was okay to good. The prices are significantly higher than in comparable stores & even compared to good sushi restaurants WITHOUT a conveyor belt, this one is overpriced. The three of us paid €220 without eating or drinking too much. Only a total of 4 cokes were ordered. For your information: each plate costs between €2.20 and €5.80 individually Conclusion: Good quality and tasty, price clearly too high.

The sushi are really bad, very dry rice, not good quality, my son found long black hair in the sushi and I handed it to her, everything was bad. The owners are Vietnamese not Japanese. Don't go there.

Rice didn't taste like freshly cooked on the day. The quality of raw fish is not great either. Wonder if this place ever gets busy.. if so.. perhaps people like the fact they can get some Vietnamese foods there..?

Some of the sushi was a bit dry when I was there, which was a shame. But they actually tasted really great. But I also find the price to be a bit expensive in some cases. So you really have to be careful, which in my opinion spoils the enjoyment because you always have to keep an eye on the number of plates and the price. I think that's a shame and it limits the enjoyment a little.

Sometimes you don't have to say much. Everything is just great here. Sushi on the treadmill as it should be. Boss has been there for 18 years. The staff, probably his wife, were really nice and available for a little chat. Found out that Bernd Zehner was there with 16 people for the day :) We counted, so the store must have been full Uodate: 3 stars deducted because they don't keep their Google Maps opening times up to date and I just drove here for free

Run by a Vietnamese person, they sell unique pho noodles. We don’t sell udon. The taste isn't bad overall.

A cozy, not too big shop with very tasty sushi and mochi on the conveyor belt. You can also sit at other tables and order from the menu and pick it up. The assembly line is always freshly stocked. The different plate colors make the prices clearly visible. You get a card with explanations. The service is very friendly. My daughter said the mochis are a revelation.

We were in Frankfurt and really wanted to go to a sushi restaurant with an assembly line. To be on the safe side, I had reserved for 2 people, but that wouldn't have been necessary. The sushi on the conveyor belt was super tasty and there was a lot to choose from, including fried sushi. The prices could be identified by the colored plates and an overview on a card. The service was nice and friendly, drinks came quickly. The furnishings are perhaps a bit old, but still comfortable. We would come back at any time, super good, delicious sushi!

Very cool and unique place. The sushi was very good and had many variations. There was also ramen which was also quite delicious. But the motchi tasted horrible. It was too sticky and soft. It didn’t taste sweet.

Cozy sushi shop in the city center, very child-friendly and, above all, tasty and fresh. The owners were very nice and flexible, my child's favorite sushi was made upon request. Running Sushi was an absolute highlight for the child. We'd love to come back.

I was there recently for the first time. The sushi is excellent, varied and you can watch it being prepared. The Asahi beer was nice and cold and refreshed me wonderfully. The sushi restaurant is probably run by the owners themselves. We were served very friendly and I definitely felt like I was in good hands there. The atmosphere is very pleasant. And the audience also fits. There were couples, friends, business partners and three families with children there while we ate and enjoyed the evening. I haven't felt this good going out in a long time. And at the end there was even a plum liqueur on the house. What more do you want.

Das Lokal, gelegen an einer perfekten Lage inmitten der Einkaufsgegend Frankfurts, trumpft mit einer ausgezeichneten Küche. Der Sushi Meister kreiert klassische wie auch ausgefallene Häppchen. Hervorzuheben möchte ich besonders die hervorragenden Mochis. Durch die sehr begrenzte Anzahl an Plätzen, hebt sich die Ambiente auf ein ruhiges und zwangloses aber gleichwohl nicht aufdringliches oder unangenehmes Niveau - perfekt für eine gelassene Reise durch die japanische Vielfältigkeit der kreativen Küche. Die Preise sind für den Standort angemessen.

Sehr lecker. Das Laufband wird immerzu neu bestückt, auch 30min vor Schluss gibt es noch eine gute Auswahl. Wer mit großem Hunger kommt, sollte ein bisschen mitrechnen: Wenn man Teller wählt und ein Menü bestellt, wird's ein gehobener Restaurant-Besuch 😅 Qualität vom Essen ist Top 👍

A very good restaurant with great atmosphere and even greater food

Also das Sushi hier ist wirklich sehr gut und abwechslungsreich doch leider ist es auch echt sehr teuer. Hab noch nie soviel bezahlt für Sushi . Das ist der einzige große Kritikpunkt... Es ist einfach sauteuer hier. Ansonsten passt alles. Der Service ist gut und bemüht und das Sushi sehr lecker. Gibt aber andere Läden die die gleiche Qualität zu normalen Preisen anbieten.

Ich mochte die Atmosphere und die Sushi waren auch sehr lecker. Vor allem aber mochte ich die Mochi. Der Service war zwar ein bisschen langsam, aber angesichts der Tatsache, dass wir zu viert dort waren, schon top.

Hands down the best sushi I had in Frankfurt. Most of the fish, especially the more expensive ones like eel, just melted in your mouth. The selection was very big and the dishes running around in front of you can be quite easily be distinguished with the help of the plate color and the menu pictures. The sushi chef prepared the warm or special foods quite fast and the service was really nice.

Um super gemütlich vom Circleband sauleckeres und frisches Sushi zu essen und eine mega nette Bedienung zu erleben, ist hier der beste Platz dafür.

Guter Sushi, man kann am Laufband sitzen oder am Tisch. Frisch zubereitet, gut geschmeckt. Aber wenig mit Wow-Effekt (zumindest auf dem Laufband) Wasabi gab es nur auf Nachfrage.

A relatively good running sushi place in Frankfurt. The atmosphere is cosy, the shop is not small and the Asian cook prepared the sushi in front of the clients and then put it on the running belt. The food was average, the prices where typical for Frankfurt. It was a pleasant afternoon spent reading my favourite food.

Super ! Preis echt happig, aber super essen: frisch und lecker . So stelle ich mir authentisches Sushi vor. Die Bedienung ist was die Versorgung mit Getränken oder das Bringen der Rechnung angeht etwas lahm. Das könnte verbessert werden.

Bedienung war ok bis ich zahlen wollte, nur weil ich die Option meiner Landeswährung gewählt habe ist die Dame fast ausgerastet. So kann man einen Urlaubstag von jemanden anders ruinieren, dabei haben wir viel mehr konsumiert als die vier einzigen Gästen an diesem Mittag. Es gibt bei weitem bessere Sushi-restaurants in Frankfurt, die auch wesentlich freundlicher sind.

Meistens sehr leckeres Sushi. Allerdings lässt die Sauberkeit sehr zu wünschen übrig. Seitdem die Preise um ca. 30% erhöht wurden (August 22) ist es den Preis aber leider nicht mehr wert.

Seit Jahren eins der besten Sushi Restaurants in denen ich war. Die Mitarbeiter sind super lieb. Wenn der Herr der das Sushi dort frisch zubereitet sieht, dass man etwas gerne isst sieht man es nur einige Zeit später auf dem Band vor einem laufen damit man direkt mehr davon hat. Super!

I stopped in for a meal of sushi here a few days ago. Was really nice. The food was beautifully presented.

We were here for an early dinner and frankly, the chef and server seemed overwhelmed. As more people entered the establishment, this became more and more apparent. The server had to be reminded to cook our gyoza order, as well as bring us other requested items. The kaitensushi aspect is good, but be prepared to wait for anything not on the conveyor belt. The oddest thing of all was...when we were paying our bill using cash and coin, the server refused to take our copper euro coins (1, 5) . We were REALLY puzzled, as our bill total was 47,10. Last time I checked, money is money. That interaction during the payment process was quite bothersome and unnecessary. The food is average, so I don't feel this restaurant is worth the drama.

Wanna have some sushi, Sushi Stars is the best choice. Sashimi are all so fresh, fresh wasabi, we have food on the chain and alaenu set.

It's the best Sushi in FRA staff is so loving they make whatever you want. Everytime the Chef has created somthing new ... and if you are a regular like me he let's you try it free of charge. evryboby is so welcoming an the food is splendid. Need to go there at least once a month ...

We, my husband and two older daughters enjoyed the wide choice suitable for vegans and meat eaters. Fun to stack up all the plates to see how much the dinner cost as each plate is colour co-ordinated with the price and there is a picture menu.

Seeing that I visit Frankfurt frequently I pass by this little gem on a regular basis. I must admit that I have tried different places- but always ended up regretting not coming here. The quality is extraordinary and the staff is really nice. They have a lot of innovative variations so you can always try new things. I am pretty disappointed in all the reviews that I am reading about it being too expensive- I would suggest that these people go to a supermarket the next time they decide to eat sushi as they seem unable to appreciate (or understand) what good sushi is. Sushi isn't cheap and it shouldn't be. Anyway, value for money is definitely good!!

This restaurant has a good air-conditioning so in a hot summer day, you would be quite happy there. The sushi was okay, nothing bad but nothing special. My problem was that the quality of sushi which was not meeting the price of the menu. Although the presentation looked alright, they used old salmon which tasted and smelled bad... Additionally, the lady (I presume the owner) was quite impatient. So I would not go back to there for another sushi

I went there with my girlfriend and we paid 50€ for an very below average sushi quality. For this price, there are much better places to eat in Frankfurt. I think this a bad experience for who really wants to eat sushi. This is not Japanese at all. Staff was friendly but the food quality/price was poor. Definetely not coming back.

The food is ok, the service is good and friendly. Maybe a bit too expensive for what you get, but still worth to get there having some Sushi. You pay per plate. The price depends on the colour of the plate. A plate e.g. with 2 Nigiri or 4 salmon or tuna Maki is 2,10 EUR.

After reading some of the reviews here I decided to give this place a chance. The place is not one of the fanciest sushi place but the food will make you feel really good. As you go inside you will find yourself sitting on a bar chair and there is a platform in the middle where you can see all types of Sushi passing by. There are total of four or five groups of Sushi's each with different color plates. So you just get a plate that you feel like eating and enjoy the delicious sushi served. Personally I found the taste of Sushi's very satisfying and the price was acceptable. Once you are finished eating waiter counts the number of plates served and since each plate has different price.. total price is calculated. If you are starving and don't want to wait for ordering food and the cooking process I would definitely would recommend Sushi Bars and Sushi Stars is surely a place not to be ignored.

Average sushi house with sushi belt. There are some sushi/food in selection you do not see on average sushi belt joints. We were at late lunch time and sushi in general where fresh. Out of close to 30 portions we took couple where not fresh as expected. But not to the state to not be eatable or make you sick. Some management on how long something rotates, has to be improved. Overall good alternative to junk food which is abundant in the area.

We entered this sushi bar following a TripAdvisor review, and didn't get disappointed. It is a classic nice sushi bar, with quite good sushi. However, it's not a cheap experience, if you get in very hungry.
