We ended up here because Berger Streetfood was too crowded and I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised. The quality of the sushi made a very good impression and it also tasted wonderful. There are new and delicious sushi varieties and the prices are very reasonable. Even if Google shows it differently, it is also cheaper at Shisan than at Berger Streetfood. I can highly recommend the restaurant!

Good sushi bar with a terrace in the north end. People sit quietly outside, but more spaces would now be created inside. Sushi/Sashilmi per plate or - which we think is great - a la carte. All very tasty. Prices are still ok compared to others.

After ordering, we waited about 30 minutes for the drinks and 50 minutes for the food. No word that it might take longer. The food was quite ok. You can also sit quite comfortably. Bit of a shame.

Disastrous service. We waited 1h20 for our food.

I will never go there again. Be careful, I threw up and got diarrhea afterwards. It's not exactly clean. The waiter smokes outside and comes in and serves without washing his hands. I also found a worm in the food. So be careful. I hope it will soon be inspected and closed.

we ordered 2 rounds of sushi 🍣, delicious 😋 Unfortunately they no longer have all you can eat, but the selection is so large and you can adapt the dishes if you wish. Drinks were served cool. The interior is a little smaller, but very pleasant and beautifully decorated. There is a little more space outside, also beautifully decorated, with fairy lights in the evenings that create a romantic atmosphere and since this makes the location popular, they really hit the spot. I'm looking forward to spring and a nice evening with 🍣😋

Best japanese restaurant in Frankfurt. Reservation is a good idea if you plan on visiting. But check a place to park your car, that is a challenge in Frankfurt centrum

Very fine selection of sushi, frames and cocktails. We spontaneously went to Shisan without making a reservation. However, a reservation is recommended for the future, as indoor seating is limited. The sushi tastes great and is super fresh, the presentation is limited to the best, there are no heavy dips, mountains of cress and other things on the plate, exactly as it should be in my opinion. The service is attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere is lovingly furnished and the social rooms are in excellent condition. You can tell that a lot of things here are really done with love. I would be happy to come by again.

Very cheeky service! I just called and asked a question about the preparation and whether they also have meat or just vegetarian and fish rolls. and then he answers with a stupid question about whether I would ask if a sushi shop sells fish. After this stupid answer, I asked for a person who understood German better because he didn't understand the question. He then hung up. Then I called back and confronted him and asked if he had hung up and he said he hadn't and hung up right after.

Waited 1.5 hours for our food through Uber Eats and then the order was simply canceled after 1.5 hours. 80€ order too. Never again.

I've been going to Shisan for many years and am always happy about the great vegan dishes - whether sushi or the vegan bowl - the team makes everything possible and is always helpful and friendly. The vegan summer rolls with peanut sauce are fantastic

Sushi tatsächlich sehr lecker und frisch, jedoch war die Bedienung nicht die Freundlichste. Das habe ich in Frankfurt schon besser erlebt.

War vor zirka 2 Monaten hier. Sehr schöne lokation, sehr leckere vegane sushi, Frühlingsrolle und edamame. Auch die vegane Alternative zum sushi der Vegan Bowl war richtig gut. Service war auch fast perfekt nur ein kleiner faux pas als nicht vegane Mayo angeboten wurde und es ein wenig länger dauerte für die letzten 2 sushi Platten bei der größeren Gruppe (+30 Personen). Kann es sehr empfehlen, gerne wieder!

Echt Klasse! Sehr nette Bedienung, sehr leckere Cocktails und sehr leckeres Sushi. Die großen Shusi-Teller zum Teilen sind auch geil.

Location ist ganz in Ordnung, nur wirkt die Ausstattung ziemlich alt zumindest im AAußenbereich. Die Mitarbeiter waren ok, nicht super nett aber auch nicht unfreundlich. Das Sushi ist ganz gut, habe aber schon Besseres gegessen.

Alles sehr gut. Das Ambient war nice eingerichtet, Staff ganz nett und freundlich. Das Essen frisch und sehr lecker. Gerne wieder besuchen! 😊

Meiner Meinung nach das beste Sushi in Frankfurt! Die Bedienungen sind super freundlich und schnell, das Ambiente auf der Terrasse ist gemütlich und das Sushi, sowie die Cocktails unfassbar lecker! Ich war mit einer größeren Gruppe dort und wir haben eine gemischte Sushiplatte sowie Pina Coladas bestellt. Das Sushi sah nicht nur toll aus sondern war super frisch und abwechslungsreich. Auch die Getränke wurden liebevoll in schönen Tassen serviert. Zu dem georderten Mochidessert wurden noch als Aufmerksamkeit Sesambällchen gereicht. Ich würde empfehlen vorher einen Tisch zu reservieren, da das Shisan immer gut besucht ist. Absolute Empfehlung!

The sushi is actually very good for its decent price. The service is friendly, but not excellent and the location is quite chill. So overall a solid lunch spot.

Ergänzung: Nach einem Besitzerwechsel gibt es im Shisan kein Kaiten Sushi mehr. Der Rundlauf mit den Booten wurde bei einer Renovierung abgewrackt. Aber das neue Shisan ist dafür mit kleinen Tischen sehr gemütlich geworden. Das Sushi ist von excelenter Qualität aber zum Vorgänger sind sie kleiner geworden. Alles in allem ist das Shisan auch in 2023 noch immer einen Besuch wert. Noch immer einer der besten Sushi Restaurants in der Stadt. Sehr nette Bedienung und sehr gute Sushi Qualität. Auch die Hausgemachten Limonaden sind klasse. Es ist immer ein Besuch wert.

Waren am Freitag mit einer großen Gruppe hier, welche alle vegan sind. Das Lokal liegt sehr schön und ruhiger in der Nähe der Berger Straße. Man kann drinnen und draußen Sitzen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Also Vorspeise gab es Gyoza, Edamame, Frühlingsrollen und Sommerrollen. Alles war sehr lecker vorallem die Sommerrolle mit Erdnussoße hat mir sehr geschmeckt. Schliesslich gab es Sushi vegan oder eine Bowl vegan. Die Bowl ist reichhaltig gefüllt und war sehr lecker, allerdings hätte hier gerne etwas mehr drin sein dürfen, nach Rücksprache mit dem Personal, soll man dies einfach ansprechen, dann wird auch reagiert. Die hausgemachten Cocktails sind schön dekoriert,lecker und preislich in einem guten Rahmen. Haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und werden sicher wieder kommen. Vielen Dank an Kim und sein Team, der alles sehr schön vorbereitet hat und wir einen tollen Abend hatten.

Großer Außenbereich. Schneller und netter Service. Hatten die Sushi Kombination Nikki, war gut. Und die Karate Bowl, auch gut, aber hier war das frittierte Hähnchen innen etwas zu fettig. Für mich war das noch okay, für meine Begleitung eher weniger.

Hier gibt es das beste Sushi in der Stadt Frankfurt. Der Service war wie immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein toller Abend mit einem sensationellen Geschmackserlebnis. Bitte macht genau so weiter!

Service war sehr gut und freundlich. Die Portionen sind etwas klein, dafür aber sehr lecker und schön angerichtet. Die Hocker empfand ich leider als unbequem... Nach 30 min. tat mir bereits der Hintern weh.

Unser erster Besuch aber sicherlich nicht der Letzte. Sehr kleines Lokal, allerdings ein sehr warmes und einladendes Ambiente. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und alles wurde frisch vor Ort zubereitet. Die übersichtliche Karte hilft beim bestellen, was gerade für weniger Sushi erfahrene von Vorteil ist, da mit Bildern die Sushi Art einfacher zugeordnet werden kann. Preis/Leistung stimmt hier in jedem Fall. Anreise mit dem Auto geht, wer Bornheim kennt weis aber, dass es schwierig werden kann. Ich kann einen Besuch auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Bestes Sushi was ich je gegessen habe. Shisan ist mehrmals ausgezeichnet von Frankfurt geht aus und die waren bei der Sendung Mein Lokal Dein Lokal dabei und haben den 1. Platz abgeräumt.

Superbe restaurant, un service au top et une nourriture délicieuse.

Seitdem es das shisan gibt ist die Sushi-Qualität hervorragend! Jetzt ist der Innenbereich soooo schön umgestaltet worden, dass wir gemütlich das feine Sashimi, Maki, Misosuppe, Trung Nguyen Espresso und Matcha Eis auch im Winter genießen können. Vielen Dank!

Seit Jahren in geliebter Zuverlässigkeit mein Favorit für Sushi. Früher auf Fisch, heute mehr auf vegetarisch/vegan - beides einfach top!

Absoluter Lieblings-Sushi Laden in Bornheim, dabei direkt am belebten Luisenplatz. Vegane Optionen gibt es auch, Drinks sind auch sehr lecker und auch alkoholfrei zu haben.
