Sushi Kometsu in Bielefeld

Richtig leckeres Sushi und auch eine schöne Atmosphäre! Es gibt auch Don und Ramen die haben wir leider nicht probieren können. Auch top: direkt gegenüber ist ein Spielplatz mega praktisch mit Kind

Ich war heute zum ersten Mal mit meinen Arbeitskollegen zum Mittagstisch hier und war positiv überrascht. Das Essen war sehr lecker, frisch zubereitet und schön angerichtet. Die Portionen waren genau richtig und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist für den Mittagstisch wirklich gut. Auch der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich komme auf jeden Fall gerne wieder und kann das Restaurant weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren gestern anlässlich des Geburtstags meiner Freundin hier essen und hatten einen rundum wunderschönen Abend. Schon bei der Reservierung hatte ich als kleine Bitte angegeben, dass es schön wäre, wenn zum Geburtstag eine Kerze auf dem Tisch stehen könnte. Dieser Wunsch wurde tatsächlich erfüllt, was uns direkt ein Lächeln ins Gesicht gezaubert hat. Solche kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten machen einfach den Unterschied. Das Essen war durchweg hervorragend. Alles war frisch, qualitativ hochwertig und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Man merkt, dass hier Wert auf gute Zutaten gelegt wird. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat uns absolut überzeugt. Für die Qualität der Speisen sind die Preise wirklich mehr als fair. Besonders die große Auswahl an veganen Gerichten hat uns begeistert. Als zusätzliche Überraschung hat meine Freundin zum Geburtstag sogar noch ein Getränk sowie einen liebevoll angerichteten kleinen Nachtisch aufs Haus bekommen. Das war eine unglaublich nette Geste, mit der wir überhaupt nicht gerechnet hatten. Auch der Service war erstklassig. Alle Mitarbeitenden waren ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Man hat sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Vielen Dank für diesen gelungenen Abend. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können das Restaurant uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Manchmal schafft ein Restaurant eben nicht nur gutes Essen, sondern auch schöne Erinnerungen.

Die Sushi war eher mittelmäßig. Da finde ich anderen Läden in Bielefeld deutlich leckerer, auch was die Portionen (Preis/Leistung) angeht. Bezahlung war schwierig. Karte nicht möglich und kein/nicht ausreichend Wechselgeld.

Wir waren zu zweit hier auf einem Freitag-Abend essen. Das Sushi schmeckt wirklich lecker, aber ist auch nicht herausragend. Es war auch kein echtes Wasabi, sondern Tuben-Wasabi. Auf das Essen haben wir ca. 35 Minuten gewartet, obwohl es bereits länger am Tresen bereit lag. Mit einer Cola und einem Bier lagen wir für die Portion auf dem Bild bei 61€, weshalb wir das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis eher weniger gut einschätzen. Wir hatten großen Hunger und sind nicht satt geworden. Das Ambiente ist wirklich schön und einladend.

Wir waren heute Abend da und hatten nichts auszusetzen. Der Service war sehr nett und super schnell. Das Essen war fantastisch und auch das Ambiente war sehr gemütlich. Für Sushi preislich normal, also etwas teurer aber das ist es uns 100%ig wert gewesen!

Leckeres Essen in angenehmer Atmosphäre, gute Sushi-Qualität und schneller Service. Wer hier All-You-Can-Eat Charakter sucht, wird enttäuscht.

Wir waren am Samstag bei Sushi Kometsu essen und es war total klasse. Die Qualität des Sushis war super frisch und die Anrichtung auf dem Holzschiff ist ein echter Hingucker! Auch der Service war top! Die Bedienung war super nett und aufmerksam. Die Wartezeit aufs Essen war absolut passend und die selbstgemachten Limonaden richtig lecker. Von mir eine absolute Empfehlung, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren leider enttäuscht bei diesem Besuch. Das Miso Suppe war okay, wirklich nicht überragend. Sushi war auch in Ordnung, aber das war die kleinste Inside Out Roll die ich je in meinem Leben gesehen habe? Und was mich gestört hat: der Laden war nicht sauber. Staub unter der Bar, Staub und Spinnenweben auf den schwarzen Tüchern über der Bar/Küche. Und fette Spinnenweben und Staub beim Aufgang zur Toilette. Das geht einfach nicht. War mal besser.

Bin sehr enttäuscht, hat so lala geschmeckt nichts besonderes. Da finde ich sumo viel besser ,und man wird ordentlich satt für sein Geld. Habe echt mehr erwartet ,die Bedienung war sehr höflich.

Wirklich gutes japanisches Restaurant in Bielefeld. Das Sushi schmeckt außergewöhnlich gut, leider dementsprechend hochpreisig.

Das Essen war in Ordnung, aber die Portionen waren für den Preis klein. Das Restaurant war bei unserer Ankunft fast leer, trotzdem wurde unser Essen zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten serviert.

Das Sushi hier ist richtig lecker. Eins der besten hier in der Umgebung meiner Meinung nach. Die Leute vom Service sind auch sehr freundlich. Ich habe sogar letzten mein lieblings Eis als kleine Geste bekomme. Alles in allem kann ich jedem empfehlen hier zu essen.

Dieses Restaurant ist ein echtes Paradies! Das Sashimi zergeht auf der Zunge, und jeder Bissen des Gunkans ist ein echter Geschmacksexplosion – man kann gar nicht genug davon bekommen. Ich komme hier schon öfter her, und die Qualität der Gerichte sowie der Service sind immer einwandfrei. Das Personal ist aufmerksam, freundlich und immer gut gelaunt. Und der Pflaumenwein – einfach himmlisch!

Ausgezeichnet! Ich bin Tourist aus Girona (Spanien) und bin zufällig auf dieses Lokal gestoßen. Die Atmosphäre ist fantastisch, sogar die Musik. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und das Essen köstlich. Schade, dass ich nicht aus der Gegend komme und nicht wiederkommen kann. Vielen Dank für Ihre Aufmerksamkeit! Es war großartig!

Wenn man einmal Appetit auf Sushi hat, ist man hier im Sushi Kometsu richtig. In einem modernen Ambiente kann man hier diverse Sushi,spezialitäten und Ramen essen. Wir haben hier zu dritt einige Sushispezialitäten probiert und waren zufrieden. Mir haben besonders die Ebi Tempura Garnelen gefallen. Außerdem gibt es eine große Getränkeauswahl inklusive grünem Tee.

Sushi ist gut, aber auch nicht herausragend. Wir waren auf eine Sonntag Nachmittag da, es war noch einiges frei, das Essen kam sehr schnell . Im Laden selbst fand ich es sehr kalt. Es gibt scheinbar „Probleme“ mit der Kartenzahlung. Laut anderen Bewertungen wohl schon länger.

Das nenne ich mal ein echtes Sushi! Und die Tempura-Garnelen 🍤 als Vorspeise...🤤 einfach himmlisch!!!😋 Alle bestellten Speisen werden frisch zubereitet und das schmeckt man auf Anhieb. Wir sind spontan vorbei gekommen und haben sofort einen Platz bekommen. Am besten geht man mit Bargeld hin, bei unserem Besuch war keine Kartenzahlung möglich, da das EC-Kartengerät nicht funktionierte... Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, vielen Dank für diese Köstlichkeiten!!!🍣🍤🍜

Laut google maps rundown um die Uhr geöffnet?? Bitte mal aktualisieren. Nettes Ambiente. Essen OK. Für mich im Vergleich zu ähnlichen Restaurants aber qualitativ und geschmacklich maximal Durchschnitt (schmeckte für mich nicht sonderlich frisch). Zu einem zweiten Besuch wird es für mich nicht kommen.

Was für ein wundervoller Ort! Frisches und authentisches Essen, sehr freundlicher Service – wir haben unser Abendessen sehr genossen. ☺️

Unser Sushi war geschmacklich top und, soweit ich beurteilen kann, original (im Vergleich zu den dickrolligen, trockeneisdampfenden, augenschmeichlerisch drapierten der eher vietnamesischen Mitbewerber (aber hey, die sind auch oft top- notch!)). Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und bekam einen Platz an einem großen Tisch, auch ohne reserviert zu haben. Kommen weitere Gäste ohne Reservierung, werden sie ebenfalls dort platziert, aber mithilfe von kleinen Aufstell-Paravents auf dem Tisch von den Nachbarn separiert (ganz so, wie Schulkinder bisweilen ihren Tornister bei Klassenarbeiten zwischen sich auf den Tisch stellen sollen…). Wirkte auf uns ein wenig befremdlich. Größtes Manko für uns war aber, dass man zwangsläufig bar bezahlen musste, wegen der schlechten Internetverbindung, wie uns gesagt wurde..

I was a huge Kometsu fan for years. However, both the service and the quality of the sushi have declined significantly in recent years. The fact that you can NEVER pay by card, even though there's a card reader that, strangely enough, never works, is extremely annoying. If Kometsu could manage to get back to its pre-COVID level, it would be a solid 10/10. Unfortunately, not anymore.

The food was absolutely wonderful, albeit very overpriced. Unfortunately, the service is so busy that you quickly run out of things to do. The ATM wasn't working for us either. Okay, we were warned about this beforehand.

The price-performance ratio isn't right. If I want to eat rice for €10, I'll cook it myself. The side dish...well...should be listed on the menu, especially if it's on the daily special. 4 mini pieces of pork belly...there was no recommendation to order sauce either. Inspired by the menu, I chose the dish based on pictures, but it ended up looking completely different. Very disappointing. By the way, there's a different way to braise properly. Card payments don't seem to work consistently, judging by the reviews. Service from the staff is nonexistent. For me, it was a one-time visit!

Traditional sushi of very high quality. We've been there many times, and the sushi is consistently very good. The selection is also impressive. The service is friendly, and we'll be happy to come back.

We've been going there regularly, 3-4 times a year, for years. The food is excellent, but unfortunately, the service has become extremely poor. The cleanliness of the tables and counters also leaves much to be desired. They'd rather tidy up than take more drink orders; the focus is no longer on the customer. It's a real shame. Furthermore, the attention to detail that used to be standard is lacking: no chopstick rests, no dessert decorations. However, we will go again in the hope that the recession will change things.

The food was okay, but not authentic. The shop is run by Chinese, not Japanese, people. Card payments didn't work; only cash was accepted.

The sushi at Kometsu in Bielefeld was delicious and fresh, which we really enjoyed. Unfortunately, there were problems with the debit card machine on the day of our visit, which we weren't informed of beforehand. As a result, I had to run home while my husband stayed behind to get cash – unfortunately, this somewhat dampened our evening. The food itself is highly recommended, but the service could be more transparent and customer-friendly in such situations.

Honestly, I don't understand all the good reviews. The food was mediocre and the service was slow.

We're actually regulars at this small, fine restaurant; we usually get takeout. The food is high-quality, and the service is super friendly and attentive. There's just one major issue that's really annoying. You can almost never pay with an EC card. Why is that?! The unstable internet theory is flawed in my opinion... The reader seems to be broken. This is actually a reason for us and me to try a different Asian restaurant – which is a real shame, because everything else is perfect. Maybe something will change soon...

This place is a little insider tip. We went there at lunchtime, and it was almost empty. The memory card has a recommendation of the day: a mixed sushi platter, and they serve a delicious soup as a starter, all for under 10 euros. I highly recommend it!

Sushi Kumetsu is absolutely recommended! The food is excellent, the quality of the ingredients is top and the preparation is fresh and loving. The staff is super nice and creates a pleasant atmosphere. The prices are fair and match the high quality perfectly. It's definitely worth a visit, I'd love to come back!

The food was very tasty, but something needs to change in terms of service because it simply wasn't there at all. Only after an hour did someone come to the table to ask about the drinks and that was the only time. We also had to wait an hour for the food, which is why we didn't order anything else because otherwise we would have to wait that long again.

So far my favorite sushi restaurant in Bielefeld. There is a lot of choice, delicious drinks and the service is friendly. The sushi is good quality and the teriyaki skewers are my personal favorite. I've been there many times and would love to come back!

Really great food and great selection too. The service was good and friendly, but not particularly outstanding. The restaurant is very nicely furnished, but you sit very close to the neighboring table. This can be a bit annoying at times. All in all, an absolute recommendation

A beautiful, stylish and authentic restaurant. The staff provided perfect service and the food was wonderful. It tasted very tasty, was lovingly prepared and was served in a reasonable time. The prices are reasonable for what you get. Definite recommendation!

Best sushi, the drink selection could be a little more extensive.

Small cozy restaurant. In the meantime it was very crowded and loud, as there were a lot of small children there, which I wouldn't have expected. It is comfortably furnished and there was also vegan sushi to choose from. The vegan tuna version was particularly good. Unfortunately, the employees are a bit inattentive and it takes a while to get them to come over. And we sat at the table for 15 minutes and had to ask for the cards ourselves. When we ordered, one of the 4 people got her food 20 minutes before us. Which was a bit of a shame. Otherwise it was quite nice.

Das Restaurant ansich ist ziemlich bequem und komfortabel. Das japanische Bier ist auch nur zu empfehlen! Das Sushi kam trotz großer Bestellung schnell an und schmeckte sehr lecker. Der Reis war perfekt und die Nigiri waren sehr gut gemacht. Das Ambiente ist super und es ist ruhig. Nur zu empfehlen!

Great food, cool location. The service is ok, but unfortunately a bit “slow”. Definitely a recommendation in Bielefeld. It's in your own interest to reserve a table, otherwise you'll end up sitting at the counter :-)

Delicious small lunch menus, not expensive.

Food was good but service was disastrous. There were two of us there, my food came first and the other order came 20 minutes later. I don't understand why you can't bring both together. Waiting wouldn't have been a problem. The portions have also been significantly reduced compared to the smaller store before.

Japanese music is playing pleasantly softly in the background, and the Tokyo Rose with cherry juice tastes wonderful - it's the go-to drink for my girlfriend and me.

Everything fits here. Starter, sushi plate and ramen with chicken tasted very good. Service quick and attentive. Be sure to try hot sake or Japanese beer.

I was there today and I was stunned at how beautiful the ambience, the staff and the food were. I will come by often and I can only recommend it. It was very clean and the staff was very nice. Keep it up!!!

I have to correct my review after 7 years. Charging €4 for a Maguro Nigiri is already very excessive. Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio is no longer suitable. There are two other competitors that offer at least the same quality at much cheaper prices.

Not the best quality to price ratio. Only may be fine for those people who haven't tried good sushi in their lives. Otherwise you can easely find a place with the same quality of food but cheaper or better quality for the same price.

Unfortunately, we couldn't bite into the octopus on our last visit, but that didn't dampen our enthusiasm for the rest of the meal. The sushi is wonderfully prepared, very tasty and absolutely recommended. The toilets are one floor higher without an elevator. I don't care at all, but I can imagine that some people need this information. Prices for food and drink are completely normal for a sushi restaurant. The restaurant is always busy, so booking in advance is recommended. When we are in Bielefeld, we always plan a visit here. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED

The food and the side dishes tasted very good and we filled up well. However, the dessert (Taiyaki) was unfortunately very tough. The red bean paste still tasted good. The ambience is beautifully decorated and has its own flair.

The best sushi place in Bielefeld as well as may be Paderborn and Detmold (lets just say in nearby vicinity). Been there multiple times and the reviews were long due. Have also tried black sesame ice cream. Being fan of ice cream, it was a cherry on the top. Balanced flavor. Would go again and again.

Sushi and more... It's really tasty here. There were three of us and we had a small selection of starters and various great main courses. The service, food and ambience was really good. We've been here several times and it's always been good. Conclusion: We will come more often too. Thank you for the lovely evening.

The food was ok. Unfortunately, the atmosphere is rather average and the service is not particularly friendly. We won't be coming back.
