I have never given anything a bad review in my life because I assume that it is usually an exception and I was usually right. But let's be honest: I ordered something to pick up by phone yesterday. We went through the order together to make sure we had everything right and on the phone I said my wife had given birth and a huge wish was sushi. We paid for our order and half of it was wrong and half of it was not there at all. We paid 54 euros for a couple of makis and hardly anything worth mentioning. Complaining was not an option because we had the order delivered by a friend and taking it away from my wife was no longer an option. The person on the phone should simply recognize the importance of their job when dramatic experiences in a person's life are mentioned. I can't describe the disappointment my wife must have felt. It's too long but I hope no one ever has to experience something like that again.

Great, authentic Asian food. We order there frequently and so far everything has tasted great. My personal favorite is pho with beef. When you pick it up, the food is still very hot even after a 20 minute return journey!

Unfortunately a disappointing experience. The edamame was completely overcooked and inedible. The sushi was not tasty in terms of taste and was absolutely not justified for the price. In addition, the food came far too quickly, which gives the impression that little care was put into its preparation. Overall, poor value for money – definitely not a recommendation. It's a shame, because when the shop was smaller, the food tasted much better. The service was very friendly and attentive, but unfortunately that couldn't compensate for the disappointing quality of the food.

You can get delicious Vietnamese food here. The tempura in particular were super tasty.

Unfortunately the restaurant didn't convince us. The drinks were overly sweet and the food was average. We missed fresh vegetables - instead there were more old ingredients. Overall, nothing special. Unfortunately, compared to other Asian restaurants we have visited so far, this one fares poorly. We won't be coming back.

With my little culinary experience, I still highly rate this restaurant. First is customer service, I have to say 10 no buts. Because the staff here gave me a very familiar and comfortable feeling like being at home. Second is the food, I love the food that the restaurant offers. It's really delicious. Because its taste is very similar to what I ate in Vietnam. The restaurant atmosphere is very good. The style is very modern and also mixed with Asian culture. In short, you should stop by to experience it. And remember to bring an empty stomach ;))

Very nice asian restaurant. Good portions, good prices, everything clean and fast preparation.

We called in advance to see if a table was spontaneously available. We were assured that we could come by and that something would be available straight away. When we arrived 15 minutes later, there was already a queue outside that had been waiting in the cold for half an hour. Absolutely inappropriate. They could have told us that it was already overcrowded and that the trip wasn't worth it if you didn't want to wait in the cold for over 30 minutes. Never again!!!

The food was average. Unfortunately, the staff was so unfriendly and also "forgot" part of the order. Communication wasn't particularly easy either.

Super bad service! Reserved table was not prepared. The service staff runs in sweatpants. The starter and main course were ordered through the store. A main course didn't come at all, despite repeated requests.

The service was poor. They did not clean the table, we never got enough utensils (we were 6 and we got 3, and another time we were 4 and we got 2) and we noticed that they don't know that well the menu. The food was ok.

Changed too much. Still okay to dine out but compared to a year ago.... i was very disappointed as the flavor, service, atmosphere changed from a family run restaurant vibe to a lounge somewhat.

Worse Service ever!! the tables are sooooo dirty. Too bad for the food is great. The guys barely understand German… They barely understood when we ordered. They brought us wrong Order few times. Bad Service! their attitude is really awful.

Unfortunately, our visit to this restaurant was very disappointing. At first we were kindly assigned a table, but shortly afterwards another employee came up to us frantically and rudely said that we had a maximum of 40 minutes. When I asked whether we should stay at all, he replied annoyedly: “I don’t care.” Such rude treatment of guests is unacceptable. You don't feel welcome here - I definitely won't be coming back.

The food was great but unfortunately the service wasn't.

The atmosphere and food were very good, but the service was the worst: they mistook our orders on drinks and food several times. Payment only with cash, and no receipt received even if we wanted it.

Cash payment ONLY and no service! Definitely the last time there today! We ordered 2 drinks, a starter and two main courses. Drinks and starters came quickly, a main course came while we were still eating the starter and the second main course???? None. We asked politely and the very annoyed and taciturn waitress left without saying anything. Came back shortly afterwards and just said: Coming straight away! Another 20 minutes still no other main course. We asked for the bill from the same waitress. Nothing happened. So We turned to another waitress who then cashed in on us. There was a short discussion about the missing main course because we should pay for it. Ultimately we didn't pay for the missing dish. There was no word of apology or anything. Service simply non-existent. The starter and one main course were fresh, hot and tasted good, but not recommended for a shared meal. It was also very narrow and loud.

We ate here today.. unfortunately the food wasn't beautifully presented.. rather listless on a large pizza plate.. the eye doesn't eat here anyway.. the taste was okay.. the service here still has room for improvement..

Unfortunately, the service deteriorated extremely after the move. The family warmth has been lost. You get the impression that as a guest you are a burden and should disappear quickly. Things used to be different. The food is still very good. Cash only!

In short: the food was good, but I was bullied by the 'lady' at the counter because I asked for a cola that still contains carbon dioxide so that I don't taste water with sugar. Impossible person, never been yelled at.

We were there for the first time today and found it comfortable. The sushi was really, really good. Great value for money. Unfortunately, no card payment is possible, which I personally don't think is a good thing. So we had to look for a bench before eating. But we would eat here again.

Ate at Locky-Umi for the first time, on a Tuesday in December at 6 p.m. — it wasn't crowded, it was relaxed, it was quick, it was a feast for the eyes, it was delicious! Everything was very nicely prepared (if you want to know exactly: the numbers 2, 7, 10 + 51…), friendly service, not too expensive! The menu is huge, we stuck with the Vietnamese dishes; there is still a lot to discover. Recommended!

If you don't feel like chatting while eating, then the restaurant is perfect for you. Extremely loud and crowded, employees shouting throughout the restaurant and a bell whose harsh tone gives you goosebumps with every order. Noises come from the kitchen like those of a battlefield. The staff is very hectic, unfriendly and likes to round up tips themselves after you have asked to pay several times and after asking the third time, the staff also brings the bill. Only cash payment possible, raises suspicion of “tax-neutral working hours”🧐 The toilet floor was so sticky and dirty it could have acted as a fly trap. The food was okay, hence the 2nd star.

I would come here again for the food, but the staff didn't convince me at all. The waiters are totally unfriendly and seem overwhelmed at their job, even though the restaurant was empty. We received food that we didn't even order. After we raised this, we didn't even get an apology, which I think is just plain rude. In addition, my Sprite had no carbon dioxide at all, which is why I asked for a new one. The only answer I got was "No, it's not possible." receive. The atmosphere in the restaurant wasn't particularly nice either, as the employees AND their children were shouting angrily at each other. But I can highly recommend the sushi if you don't value good and friendly service. 😉

I enjoyed being a guest here for a very long time, but I noticed the changes leading up to the new store opening and can give the following conclusion: The portions have become SMALLER and savings are being made wherever possible! The sushi pieces are getting thinner and narrower and the portion of rice for my chicken mango dish became smaller but suddenly salad is added to it? (It wasn't like that before!) You think your customers don't notice this, but they definitely do! I have shown this shop to many friends and work colleagues, but I will now strongly advise them not to come and eat here. Here you only pay for air. If you change the portions then adjust the price! So you lost me and many other customers! Too bad!

Had dinner there with friends. Were moved twice because a larger group came. Unfortunately the restaurant is very cramped. The sushi platter we ordered was very tasty.

Great in terms of taste and price! The dishes including starters were served quickly. However, the store is far too crowded, loud and doesn't invite you to linger. The service also gives the impression that as soon as you've eaten your food, you should quickly vacate the place.

In general too salty for fried noodles and rice with sauce. The pho was delivered very late to the table compared with the other two main courses, which we think they forgot. Red wine was ok, service was ok, and the environment was good. Cash only. No credit cards!

As usual, sushi was very, very tasty - and the new restaurant right around the corner finally does justice to the great food (even though I found the old shop quite cute if a bit chaotic 😉) - I'm thrilled! 🤩 🥰

It's a shame a lot has changed since this restaurant moved to larger premises... the warmth has been lost... you feel like you're in a quick snack bar... the young man who greets you doesn't even say good evening, just how many people?! Then he puts the menu in your hand and you then go to the table?! That was new! My order was probably too slow for him so he knocked on the table with his finger...?! During the time I was in one of my favorite restaurants, he screamed the whole time through the shop... Unfortunately, friendliness looks different. I for one will no longer enter this restaurant after over 3 years of loyalty. Kind regards to the friendly owners it's a shame...

The best Asian in Bielefeld! By far, even!

A good restaurant with good Asian food. I had lunch there, we ordered a few things and everything tasted as expected. I particularly liked the duck, and the restaurant also offers a large selection of good quality sushi. The only drawback was that there were a total of 4 young boys in the restaurant who were constantly yapping. I would like to think that dogs might not be allowed in as usual. Otherwise good restaurant!

Good prices for the quantity you get! Menus are definitely worth it. The menu for two was the perfect amount, beautifully presented and particularly delicious!! I've eaten here several times and everyone I've brought with me has been very happy. The staff are polite and the waiting time is reasonable. I will definitely eat here again and recommend it! :))

The portions, particularly of the pho soup, have become noticeably smaller, and the new location has unfortunately lost much of its original charm. The atmosphere is more reminiscent of a loud canteen, which means that the coziness falls by the wayside. The service seems a bit overwhelmed when the number of guests is high. Due to the changed atmosphere and the lack of ambience, I would no longer recommend the restaurant.

Food is delicious but the music is crashing! If I want to listen to club music, I go partying and not eating Asian food!

As usual, the food was delicious here! The ambience is modern and quite nice, the larger one misses a little bit of the quaint charm of the small shop. (For example, the otherwise new-looking chair had a wobbly backrest) Service was friendly and helpful, but unfortunately EC payment was not possible! That's not really modern anymore... I hope this is just temporary. I would also want to give 5 stars for the food if the quality of service (including card payment) were better. Nevertheless: really great food for the prices!

IMPOSSIBLE! My girlfriend called and ordered us food to pick up and said we would come pick it up in 20 minutes. When we got there they just started preparing the food. The food was prepared incorrectly twice and then discussed with us. Mistakes can happen but I lost my appetite, especially when I saw the garbage can. (If you know what I mean). But feel free to take a look at the pictures for yourself! Sushi had the taste of a tavern and at least you won't get it wrong twice.

The ambience has a bit of a dated charm to it. What seems authentic. We liked it very much. Comparatively cheap prices and good food.

Stay away from the Pho! After we were told that there were no more noodle dishes available and that the kitchen closed at 10 p.m. (we were there at 9:15 p.m.) and that we should hurry up with choosing our dishes, we decided on sushi and a pho. The sushi was okay, although the rice was way too mushy in my opinion. However, when the pho arrived 10 minutes later than the sushi, my friend and I were shocked: the smell of this soup was obnoxious and reminiscent of cow excrement. Since I've had several pho soups in other cities and restaurants, I knew that pho normally does NOT smell like that. Unfortunately, the taste of this soup wasn't particularly enjoyable either. When we got up (the bowl of soup was still full of course) to pay, we were shocked by the price: €43, for two drinks, a mediocre portion of sushi and a pho. When the woman who cashed us noticed our shock, she suggested in the most outrageous way that we could just give her the 50 bill, turned around and cheekily laughed up her sleeve. Since we didn't know this woman, the service wasn't the best and it was the worst pho I've ever eaten, we found this "behavior" anything but funny. Never again!!!

Very tasty food in a simple atmosphere with attentive service, plus prices that don't discourage you from wanting something extra. We really enjoy eating Asian/Vietnamese here.

Absolutely terrible! Snack bar, kindergarten and drinks center? 1st was served by children at 9:30 p.m. Very questionable!!! 2. Even more children who belonged to the restaurant were playing football around the tables, so I was constantly careful not to throw the food off the table. That was total stressful. 3. From 10:30 p.m., bottles were sorted and boxes moved in front of the door for at least 20 minutes. It jingled terribly loud and annoyingly. 4. suddenly a car parked right next to our table and drinks were being loaded. People were shouting from the shop across the restaurant and the many children were constantly running around the tables. I couldn't call it a cozy evening. The food was nicely prepared and tasted average. We definitely won't go there again. Then it's better to go to a restaurant with privacy. A pity

Unfortunately I wasn't happy with my visit. We had reserved a table, but it was so brutally warm in the shop that we sat outside in the rain. It took a very long time for the remains to be cleared away by the previous guests and only because I pointed it out. In general, I also had to ask about the service so that we could even place an order. When I asked what the difference was between the two dishes, I was answered: I don't know. So the service needs to be improved. The food came completely mixed up and was delayed for a very long time. A plate of dumplings. Then long later the sushi for me. It was packed carelessly on a white plate, not as nice as in the photos. In terms of taste, it wasn't great either; I've eaten much better elsewhere. Then the second plate came when I finished my sushi. The other two plates only came after the waiter told us what was still missing. Catastrophic. You can only pay in cash and there is no bill, very strange. The counter is also way too small and cluttered. When you pay, you can essentially haunt the drinks of the guests who are next to be served. Drinks even without ice cubes. Above all, my Coke Zero came and then after a long time the three other Cokes. The fried noodles tasted the best of all the dishes. For 4 people with sushi and 3 main courses, 4 colas and baked banana we paid around 75€. Basically not a recommendation from me and we won't come again. Very unfortunate and sad about the negative experience.

The food was great! Was there for my birthday and everything was perfect, very great service and very friendly. Prices are good around €13-15 per person. I recommend as a starter: seaweed salad, dumplings and miso soup. Very great taste and highly recommended! However, card payment is not possible

We've probably ordered/eaten sushi here 50 times. The menu for 3 is also great for 2 people. Always really tasty :)))

Sushi shop is out of sushi (7:45 p.m.). Parking ticket + waiting time for free thanks for nothing! Plus the service doesn't speak German.

As always, the food was very tasty and of good quality! The service is always very friendly. It should be noted that it is always relatively full so you should come early if you don't have a reservation. We also ordered the family sushi menu, which took a relatively long time, but we were given edamame as a starter as compensation.

I thought the store was really great until recently, but now it's ruined me! For the last 3 times I've been throwing it up again and again.. it just tastes like water!! When I asked about the sauce in the rice, I was only offered a different one because they didn't want to make the sauce from scratch, but rather give me the one that was left in the pans... hardly anyone there understands me about that, even though I wanted baked chicken They brought me normal chicken (stripes) when I spoke to them I was insulted and it was my fault. They didn't bring me a new one unless I ordered it separately. I gave this shop a chance 3 times but no! Catastrophe! Food and friendliness… What a shame.

Small but nice! The shop is a bit secluded and tranquil, but the sushi there is simply fantastic. Here freshness gets a new definition, nowhere else have I been able to eat fresh sushi that tastes so great!

Geschmacklich sehr gut. Einfach eingerichtet, eher eng, freundlich und schnell bedient. Der Laden wechselt bald seinen Standort. Nicht gut war die Rolltechnik bei den Sommerrollen als auch beim vegetarischem Sushi. Leider nicht stramm genug gerollt, sodass sich die Rollen entrollten, bzw. die Füllung herausfiel.

The sushi is quite good, the rice is cooked a little too soft and therefore doesn't have the optimal consistency. The service is quite chaotic, reserving doesn't mean you'll actually have a table when you come. It just shortens the waiting time.

Locky Umi offers outstanding sushi with excellent quality and taste! My favorite in Bielefeld and the surrounding area. I can only recommend!

A super tasty Pho. It is served with Thai basil, sprouts, lemon and chillies. Tastes really delicious. I was sad when she was gone. There could easily have been more in the bowl...

We picked up the menu for 2 to take away, it was incredibly delicious and freshly prepared in front of us. Highly recommended!

Charming little restaurant with very tasty food, good portions and very nice staff. I always enjoy coming here! The duck is highly recommended!
