Sura Restaurant in Dresden

Ich besuche dieses Restaurant mehrmals im Monat und es ist mit Abstand mein Lieblings-Koreaner in Dresden. Der Service ist immer freundlich und zuvorkommend, und das Essen ist einfach fantastisch. Das Kimchi ist hervorragend – ich glaube ehrlich gesagt nicht, dass ich jemals besseres Kimchi gegessen habe. Es ist einer dieser Orte, an die ich immer wieder gerne zurückkomme, und ich werde definitiv noch oft wiederkommen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Super essen, gerne Nummer 15 probieren, war süß und salzig einfach top 👍🏻

Ich war gerade zum zweiten Mal im Sura. Diesmal hatte ich das koreanische Brathähnchen und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Auf der Speisekarte stand, dass man mindestens 30 Minuten warten müsse, aber es waren nur knapp 20 Minuten. Perfekt zubereitet und gut gewürzt. Es kostete 20 € und war mehr als genug für mich. Freundliches Personal, schneller Service und super Essen. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder.

Es entspricht nicht den Erwartungen, die Koreaner an koreanisches Essen haben. Das Bulgogi ist zu dick und der Reis zu hart (scheint nicht gar zu sein). Der Service ist unfreundlich, und wir mussten lange auf das Essen warten.

Sehr leckeres authentisches Essen. Freundliche zuvorkommende Bedienung. Preis Leistung absolut top. Geschmacklich umwerfend, eine klare Empfehlung. Suppe sehr gut abgeschmeckt. Mein Gericht mit Rindfleisch hatte eine tolle Geschmackskombination und das Fleisch war sehr zart. Man sollte sicherheitshalber reservieren. Lediglich die Lautstärke im Restaurant war manchmal etwas grenzwertig laut, man. Aber auch am Tag gelegen haben. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Schickes eher kleines Restaurant mit ca. 30 Plätzen. Reservierung wird empfohlen. Ich hatte die 49. fritiertes Schweinefleisch, hatte eine gute Konsistenz und war saftig. Die süßsauersoße schmeckt auch gut und die Beilage kam gratis dazu die in Soja eingelegt waren war das beste. Die Hausgemachte Limonade war auch sehr gut.

Das Essen hier ist wirklich großartig, wir wurden wiederholt reichlich verköstigt. Eine Reservierung würde ich allerdings empfehlen.

Ich hatte ein Eintopf mit Rippchen bestellt und anscheinend denken die Betreiber man ist zu dumm um zu wissen wie das Gericht aussehen sollte und habe statt Rippchen angesagte Wirbelsäulen teile bekommen. Die besitzen kaum bis garkein Fleisch, so auch meinem Fall. Meine Freundin hatte auch einen Eintopf mit Fleisch bestellt und hat kein einzige Stück Fleisch vorgefunden... Absolute Frechheit! Haben quasi Kimchi suppe für 16-17€ bekommen ... es war mal mein absoluter go to lieblingsladen, aber so einen scheiß würde ich mir nicht noch einmal antun

Top modern und sehr leckere Ribs Authentisch typisch koreanisch, wie in Hangul Servicepersonal freundlich und auf Zack mit Tablett am Handgelenk-organisation Alles in Allem top und eine echte Empfehlung in Dresden

Ich habe Sojabohnenpasteneintopf und Bibimbap im Steintopf bestellt, und es hat authentisch koreanisch geschmeckt.

Das Essen ist furchtbar, eine Schande für die koreanische Küche. Der Service ist zwar gut, aber die Qualität des Essens ist wirklich miserabel! Absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Wir waren zum 1. Mal koreanisch Essen, nachdem wir auf Netflix einen koreanischen Kochwettbewerb und mehrere Filme über das Land und Essen/Trinken gesehen hatten. Wir waren begeistert vom Geschmack, hatten allerdings bei einem Gericht nicht auf die angezeigte Schärfe geachtet :-) Vielleicht nächstes Mal nicht die beste Kleidung anziehen, da es durch das Grillen am Tisch bei manchen Gästen mit der Zeit anfängt, zu riechen - im Sommer gibt's aber auch Plätze draußen ...

Das Sora ist wirklich empfehlenswert, um mal authentisch koreanisch zu essen. Die Bedienung war nett, nur leider etwas gehetzt, da sehr viele Gäste speisen wollten. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist sehr groß, man musste nicht all zu lang auf das Essen warten und es wurde warm serviert. Alle Gerichte waren unheimlich lecker und mal etwas anderes im Vergleich zur deutschen Küche! Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt: die Sanitäranlagen, Fenster-und Fensterbänke waren leider dreckig gewesen. Dennoch war das Restaurant eine Erfahrung wert und wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch, um weitere Gerichte zu testen!

I highly recommend Sura. Compared to other restaurants in Dresden, they offer 100% authentic cuisine, including the level of spiciness. Despite the large number of guests, our food arrived relatively quickly (10-15 minutes).

Absolutely fantastic Korean food – 100 percent authentic. Recommendations: Pancakes as an appetizer, Korean Fried Spicy Chicken as a main course. The ambiance is rather mediocre, but you can sit comfortably in the beer garden behind the restaurant.

The food was very nice and I enjoyed it a lot. I have had better Korean food before, which is the only reason why I abducted one star. The service was very nice and attentive, especially at the start. After the restaurant got a bit more crowded it did take a while for them to get back to me. Overall the atmosphere was nice and if I’m ever back in Dresden I would go again

Overall, unfortunately, it was only mediocre. We had a kind of hot pot with sausages and cheese, which was supposed to be spicy. Unfortunately, the sauce was very salty, and the sausages were just as salty. For €37.50, I would have expected better quality and a larger quantity. I wasn't filled. I've had this same dish in Korea before, but it tasted completely different there. Also, it took 60 minutes from our arrival to the food.

Very good restaurant, friendly staff, and the food is really good. There's always been a free spot during the week, but on weekends, it's best to make a reservation.

One of my absolute favorite restaurants! If you like Korean food, you'll love it. The selection of dishes and Korean drinks is very good, and everything I've tried so far has been extremely delicious and of a quality close to what I'm used to from Korea. From street food and snacks to fish and meat dishes, stews and other traditional dishes, and even Korean fried chicken, they have it all. Some dishes are also available as vegetarians, so even vegetarians have a very good selection. Korean BBQ is also offered, but you have to order it in pairs. The menu explains everything about the food very well, so if you're eating Korean for the first time, you won't be lost. The staff are always very friendly and quick, and you never have to wait long for anything. Overall, I can highly recommend it to everyone.

A good, authentic Korean restaurant. I had tteokbokki and japchae – both excellent! The tteokbokki were nicely spicy and flavorful, and the rice cakes were perfectly soft. The japchae was super flavorful, with fresh vegetables and a great sesame soy sauce. Friendly service, but a bit overwhelmed that day with so many guests. I'll definitely be back!

We had a late reservation and ordered the food in advance by phone – it went smoothly. The service was friendly. Unfortunately, the drinks didn't arrive until after the meal, which was a bit unfortunate. My dish (glass noodles with beef) tasted good, but the texture of the noodles was too rubbery for me. Three strips of meat were too few for my money. Overall, the portions also seemed rather small. The restaurant is family-friendly (high chairs, children's meals), and dogs are welcome – our dog even got water. One negative: The restrooms weren't particularly clean, especially the floors didn't look well-maintained. The noise level in the restaurant was very loud – normal conversation was almost impossible. We found the drink prices quite high. Conclusion: Friendly service and dog-friendly, but a noisy atmosphere, no clean restrooms, and the value for money could be better.

We wanted to try the most authentic Korean food possible, so my wife and I chose Sura. What I immediately missed, however, was being able to specifically choose a decent portion of kimchi from the menu as a side dish. So at least the size of a "standard" side salad, or less or more as desired. It was only included here and there, or in micro-portions with a topping combination...but only occasionally. Considering that an entire nation not only celebrates kimchi, but celebrates it, I can no longer call it authentic. The different spiciness levels were well-balanced, very tasty, and also clearly labeled on the menu. One or two dishes, however, were prepared with far too much oil. And this was unpleasantly noticeable a few times in the dining room later in our visit. Let's just say that a few dishes smelled very overcooked, even black. Luckily, we had a window seat and were able to tilt it open. The dining room itself is rather simple; the wall lamps look a bit like they've been taken from a Greek restaurant, and the acoustics are borderline poor once all the tables are occupied. However, special mention must be made of the very friendly staff, who always immediately fulfilled normal and special requests with a friendly smile. We chose a selection of starters, three main courses, and a dessert, only a fraction of which truly impressed us. In retrospect, we must also say that the food stayed with us long into the evening; it's hard to say which component was responsible for this. Our conclusion is that we will unfortunately not be eating here again.

Delicious food. The restaurant itself is very simple, but that shouldn't detract from the good and, in my opinion, authentic food.

I had sweet and sour pork, kimchi stew, seafood doenjang stew, and ttukbaegi bulgogi. It was dinner time, so the wait was a bit long, but all the food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice. There was a cozy pub (=garden) inside the restaurant, and if the weather had been a bit warmer, it would have been great to eat outside.

It was so delicious!! It was a rare Korean meal that felt like Korean food The chicken was a little chewy, but it was still delicious because it was the first time in a while that I had Korean chicken. I will definitely visit again when I come to Dresden!!

I ordered chicken samgyeopsal bulgogi and it was delicious. The chicken was especially good. But the atmosphere was not great for inviting local German guests. It didn't feel luxurious or neat, and it had a slightly casual kimbap heaven feel. The interior and the music... The food was delicious, but the interior was disappointing. Eight people paid 260 euros :)

The two of us had the vegetarian menu for €20 per person and were very surprised by the starter, which we found exceptionally delicious. The two main courses were also delicious, of course :)

Authentic Korean food! Good selection. Great taste and quality. The levels of spiciness are very much adapted to European sensibilities. Two chilies are still good to eat! If you really want to eat spicy food, you should address this.

I work nearby so wanted to eat after work. Unfortunately impossible as an individual. I was sent away 6 times out of 7 attempts. 1.5 hours before closing time you are turned away and if you go there with five people you are allowed to stay. However, where I am not welcome alone, I no longer go out to eat with friends. I find the treatment of guests here simply disrespectful.

Bibimbap has a bit of unseasoned Hackfleisch, a bit of raw vegetable salad, and radish greens, so it's a bit difficult to call it bibimbap. Jjajangmyeon was okay Enjoy the Jjajang

We had Bulgogi and Yangnyeom Chicken – both dishes were incredibly tasty and authentic! The meat was tender and the sauce was perfectly seasoned. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. Clear recommendation, we'll be back!

Very good restaurant in Dresden. You can't go wrong with Korean dishes. There was a time when the service was a little average but I feel like they have improved.

I like it there, even though the quality used to fluctuate occasionally. Friendly service. It is advisable to book a table in advance as it often gets busy.

Were here on a Saturday shortly after opening. Almost all tables were occupied by 6 p.m. The service was quick and very friendly, the dishes were at the table within 20 minutes. All the dishes tasted great. Also different in sharpness as described. Booking a table in advance makes sense.

The Sura restaurant in Dresden offers delicious, traditional Korean food that, in my opinion, is some of the best in the city. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, and there is also a wide selection of vegetarian options. Although the ambience could perhaps be improved a bit, this is really just a small comment on a very high level. We'd love to come back.

I had no plans to go to a Korean restaurant in Dresden, but suddenly ended up going there. Fortunately, I had a very satisfying meal. We ordered both the stone pot bibimbap and beef stew. It suited our tastes well, so we ate it all. It was cool and nice to eat at a table placed outside.

Very tasty Korean food and nice service. You should definitely reserve a place in advance or at least inquire in advance by phone. You can also sit comfortably in the quiet backyard, but it could be made a little nicer.

The best Korean food I've eaten in Germany so far. When it's very busy the waiters sometimes can't keep up, but if you're patient that's not a problem. Everyone very friendly. And the food is really great.

Some of my friends and I went to the restaurant just for the sake of eating out. It was my third time there. The food is really good. This time I had an Eintopf. Don't ask me the name of the food because I already forgot. The service is nice and friendly but someone who probably started working there recently, dropped a small amount of soup on my pants. Since I prefer kindness, I still went with the five star for service.

Extremely tasty - I can recommend the breaded chicken (the spicy version), also the pancakes! Service is good. You can also sit outside in the quiet courtyard. Inside the music was inappropriate and too loud.

Authentic Korean cuisine, food tastes very good. I deducted one point for the relatively small portions and the fairly high price. A portion of rice with vegetables, no matter how tasty and “different” for Germans, shouldn’t cost more than €10, especially if you’re still hungry afterwards.

It's a restaurant, so the focus is on the food - and that's great. Delicious. From the dumpling to the bulgoki to the pancake… sounds European, but is Korean and highly recommended. Maybe a little more ambience, because the eye eats too. Otherwise everything was nice and the staff was pleasantly calm. Sometimes it could be even quicker. Thank you for the lovely evening.

I visited this Korean restaurant because it had good reviews. This is a review of the meal of pork bulgogi rice bowl, japchae, and bone hangover soup. The pork bulgogi rice bowl was good because it was seasoned like a home-cooked meal, and the japchae was fresh and had a bad smell, but it didn't contain spinach or eggs, and the noodles were thin rather than thick and firm, and lacked moisture. The kimchi side dish and cucumber cabbage served on the side were delicious, but the bone haejangguk is not recommended for visitors. The meat itself was edible, but it tasted like kimchi stew because they added kimchi instead of beef, and there was no perilla powder, it was only spicy and the broth wasn't thick, so it wasn't the bone haejangguk flavor I was expecting, but this food made me wait an hour. Below, someone else wrote a bad review about the bone haejangguk, but after reading it I thought I shouldn't order it. I haven't tried the other menu items, so I can't generalize, so just skip the japchae and bone haejangguk.

Unfortunately, we weren't served even after 30 minutes. However, at some point some people who came after us were served. A pity.

Eaten Korean nice several times. The Korean spicy chicken is recommended. Be careful with large portions and finger food, sticky hands are a given. Be sure to try the mandus. Reservation is best.

We had ordered kimichi Jeon, pork menu for Barbeque, along with a radler, korean beer and a plum lemonade. Everything was very good. Portion size was good too as we shared it among three people. Highly recommend visiting here.

It was our first time eating Korean food. I like Korean films and series and would like to try authentic food. We weren't disappointed. My husband couldn't decide at first because there was so much he wanted to eat. I'm not a spicy eater myself and there was a lot for me too. Everything was delicious and even though the restaurant was very busy, the two waitresses remained relaxed and were available to help with any questions. Our conclusion: We will definitely come back often.
