My first Korean meal, a complete success

Everything taste amazing. So spicy but I love it The hoddok was my favorite but it's kind of expensive.

It tastes the same as eating it in Korea and is so delicious. I think business was good even in Korea. Thank you. I had a good time👍

Were here on a Saturday shortly after opening. Almost all tables were occupied by 6 p.m. The service was quick and very friendly, the dishes were at the table within 20 minutes. All the dishes tasted great. Also different in sharpness as described. Booking a table in advance makes sense.

Indescribably good, even if it took a little longer but it's very worth it

Pot with chicken was very yummy. I would recommend to order for three with extra rice and some snacks.

The fried chicken was delicious. The other dishes tasted good.

The Sura restaurant in Dresden offers delicious, traditional Korean food that, in my opinion, is some of the best in the city. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, and there is also a wide selection of vegetarian options. Although the ambience could perhaps be improved a bit, this is really just a small comment on a very high level. We'd love to come back.

I had no plans to go to a Korean restaurant in Dresden, but suddenly ended up going there. Fortunately, I had a very satisfying meal. We ordered both the stone pot bibimbap and beef stew. It suited our tastes well, so we ate it all. It was cool and nice to eat at a table placed outside.

Very tasty Korean food and nice service. You should definitely reserve a place in advance or at least inquire in advance by phone. You can also sit comfortably in the quiet backyard, but it could be made a little nicer.

Yukgaejang was tastier than expected. I was missing traditional Korean food and I can recommend it.

The best Korean food I've eaten in Germany so far. When it's very busy the waiters sometimes can't keep up, but if you're patient that's not a problem. Everyone very friendly. And the food is really great.

Some of my friends and I went to the restaurant just for the sake of eating out. It was my third time there. The food is really good. This time I had an Eintopf. Don't ask me the name of the food because I already forgot. The service is nice and friendly but someone who probably started working there recently, dropped a small amount of soup on my pants. Since I prefer kindness, I still went with the five star for service.

Extremely tasty - I can recommend the breaded chicken (the spicy version), also the pancakes! Service is good. You can also sit outside in the quiet courtyard. Inside the music was inappropriate and too loud.

Authentic Korean cuisine, food tastes very good. I deducted one point for the relatively small portions and the fairly high price. A portion of rice with vegetables, no matter how tasty and “different” for Germans, shouldn’t cost more than €10, especially if you’re still hungry afterwards.

It's a restaurant, so the focus is on the food - and that's great. Delicious. From the dumpling to the bulgoki to the pancake… sounds European, but is Korean and highly recommended. Maybe a little more ambience, because the eye eats too. Otherwise everything was nice and the staff was pleasantly calm. Sometimes it could be even quicker. Thank you for the lovely evening.

I visited this Korean restaurant because it had good reviews. This is a review of the meal of pork bulgogi rice bowl, japchae, and bone hangover soup. The pork bulgogi rice bowl was good because it was seasoned like a home-cooked meal, and the japchae was fresh and had a bad smell, but it didn't contain spinach or eggs, and the noodles were thin rather than thick and firm, and lacked moisture. The kimchi side dish and cucumber cabbage served on the side were delicious, but the bone haejangguk is not recommended for visitors. The meat itself was edible, but it tasted like kimchi stew because they added kimchi instead of beef, and there was no perilla powder, it was only spicy and the broth wasn't thick, so it wasn't the bone haejangguk flavor I was expecting, but this food made me wait an hour. Below, someone else wrote a bad review about the bone haejangguk, but after reading it I thought I shouldn't order it. I haven't tried the other menu items, so I can't generalize, so just skip the japchae and bone haejangguk.

I think it's the best restaurant in Germany

Unfortunately, we weren't served even after 30 minutes. However, at some point some people who came after us were served. A pity.

Eaten Korean nice several times. The Korean spicy chicken is recommended. Be careful with large portions and finger food, sticky hands are a given. Be sure to try the mandus. Reservation is best.

We had ordered kimichi Jeon, pork menu for Barbeque, along with a radler, korean beer and a plum lemonade. Everything was very good. Portion size was good too as we shared it among three people. Highly recommend visiting here.

It was our first time eating Korean food. I like Korean films and series and would like to try authentic food. We weren't disappointed. My husband couldn't decide at first because there was so much he wanted to eat. I'm not a spicy eater myself and there was a lot for me too. Everything was delicious and even though the restaurant was very busy, the two waitresses remained relaxed and were available to help with any questions. Our conclusion: We will definitely come back often.

The restaurant is super easy to find. It's right on the street, in the back yard. The reception is also very friendly. You sit straight and the service is already there. The menu is very clear and varied. I would have loved to eat everything, but that wasn't there. Repeat definitely guaranteed. Booking online is difficult because everything is shown as occupied. Yes, why? We were 3 families in the restaurant at 5:30 p.m. By 7 p.m. the store was full. Great thing. Only recommended for those who like Korean cuisine.

Man hat die Preise gelassen, aber dafür bei den Gerichten mit Fleisch dasselbige praktisch eingespart. Bei der Nr. 13 z.B. waren nur Spurenelemente davon bemerkbar. Schade - war früher eine hervorragende Küche!

Sehr gutes Essen. Die Portionsgrößen für die Suppen waren sehr gut und auch beim Bulgogi war die Portion für den Preis gut. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Menü ist sehr vielseitig.

Wer Fan von gut gewürzter, schärferer Küche ist, der ist hier genau richtig. -> Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis bei super Servce

Ich war dort mit meiner "Koreabegeisterten Tochter" um einmal richtig traditionell zu essen.... Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht! .... Absolut super und lecker! ... Besonders empfehlen möchte ich den koreanischen Pfannkuchen mit Kimchi... würde ich nochmal essen! Auch das Hauptgericht und die Suppe waren super!. Sogar das Bier hat geschmeckt - wer gewillt ist, sich auf andere Geschmacksrichtungen einzulassen, ist hier richtig. Zwar etwas kompliziert zu finden, jedoch ist es das wert. Wir hatten vorab reserviert, würde ich auch empfehlen, da er sehr gut besucht war. Daumen nach oben 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Sehr gutes Restaurant in der Neustadt. Service ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit! Preise sind okay und Essen sehr lecker. Die Schärfegrade sollten beachtet werden;-)

Wir wollten einen entspannten Abend erleben, in angenehmer Atmosphäre. Hatten aber nicht mit dem Charme einer Stehbier Kneipe gerechnet. Deshalb waren wir enttäuscht, dadurch kam bei uns auch keine gute Stimmung auf. Aber der Service hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben, was positiv zu erwähnen ist.

Extrem leckeres Essen, sehr netter Service und auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Ich werde ziemlich sicher nochmal dort essen gehen!

Ein koreanisches Lokal der preisgünstigeren Kategorie in der Dresdner Neustadt, welches authentische koreanische Gerichte wie Bibimbab, Kimchi und Co. zu einem fairen Preis bietet. Ein Manko war bei meinem Besuch der Service. Zunächst betrug die Wartezeit auf das Essen über eine Stunde, selbst bei vollem Gastraum ist das einfach zuviel. Desweiteren musste man die Bedienung stets an den Tisch heranwinken, von allein wurde man nicht bedient. Schade! Das Ambiente ist eine "interessante" Mischung aus koreanischem Interieur und dem Bausatz eines deutschen Kegel-Vereinsheims. Da gänge sicher noch etwas. Dazu ist der Gastraum relativ vollgestellt, sodass eine erhöhte Lautstärke herrscht.

Tasty authentic Korean restaurant with delicious fresh crisp kimchi. I really enjoyed how the menu had lots of different sections and was extremely informative in the different Korean dishes and drinks they offered.

Kurz und bündig: schlichtes Ambiente, phänomenales Essen.

Wir kannten die koreanische Küche bisher gar nicht und sind positiv überrascht worden. Die Speisen waren durchweg lecker und angenehm leicht. Perfekt für ein Abendessen. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir können dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen!

Aus hygienischen Gründen möchte ich nie wieder vorbeikommen. Es wurde Fried Chicken serviert, in einem Stück ein sehr langes Haar gebraten war. Es gab überhaupt keine Entschuldigung.

Wir sind zum 4. Mal hier. Tolles Restaurant. Sehr leckere Küche. Ein absolutes Erlebnis in Dresden Neustadt. Wir kommen wieder, versprochen.

Klein aber sehr fein! Der Service ist top. Essen kommt schnell. Alle sehr freundlich. Wir lieben es, mit unseren Kindern im Sura essen zu gehen. Dabei hat jeder sein eigenes Lieblingsgericht. Dieses Gericht macht für jeden von uns den Besuch im Sura einzigartig. Es empfiehlt sich zu reservieren!

Als Liebhaber der Koreanischen Küche bin ich zufrieden mit dem was angeboten wurde, ich denke dort kann jeder was finden was einem schmeckt. Einen ganz großen Abzug gebe ich aber beim Service, komplettes Chaos mussten eine ¾h warten bis wir Getränke bestellen konnten und wurden einfach vergessen. Der Tisch der nach uns kam wurde eher bedient als wir. Als die Getränke dann kamen hatten wir gleich essen bestellt was dann natürlich auch wieder sehr lange gedauert hat. Wir hatten um 18.00 Uhr einen Tisch reserviert und wären erst 21.00 Ihr draußen. Tisch ohne Reservierung nicht möglich und bisschen teuer. Fazit : kann man mal machen aber man verpasst nix.

Das Servicepersonal ist sehr zuvorkommend und super freundlich. Zum Essen dazu gibt es leckere kleine side dishes. Vor allem die Kartoffelecken sind richtig gut! Das frittierte chicken ist sehr zu empfehlen. Alles andere ist auch sehr lecker. Überzeugt!

I have been to Sura many times, and it's somewhere I keep going. I keep taking new people to introduce them to such good food. I will not talk about the authenticity of the food, as I am not Korean. But, being a Korean food enthusiast, I do feel they come close to the mark. They have great Jiggaes (hot pot stews), which is an all time favorite for me. I also love a bunch of the Korean classics that they make. I usually go for dinner, so the evening staff is lovely. Just two people manage the packed dinner service and are very kind and helpful. I would totally recommend the restaurant if you want to try a new cuisine. Also, if requested, some dishes can be made on varying levels of spice and vegetarian. A point taken from the service rating as they should update their website, to be able to reserve tables on the online system.

Sehr authentisches Ambiente und auch Essen, habe ich mir bestätigen lassen. Nicht überlaufen und ein richtiger Geheimtipp. Man kann stundenlang dasitzen. Das Essen ist auch wirklich lecker, nur alles leider sehr fleischlastig. Und wenn nicht, dann sehr scharf.

The food is amazing! Very close to what you would get in Asia. Also, the outside patio it’s nice during summer. They accept credit card and maybe think about reserving in advance.

Wir hatten telefonisch vorreserviert für 2 Personen. Das Essen war wirklich lecker, ich hatte Kichi Jeon, was wirklich köstlich war und Jajang Myeon was ich mir etwas würziger gewünscht hätte, wobei das eher persönlicher Geschmack ist. Auch der Honig-Zitronen-Ju und die hausgemachte Pflaumen-Ade waren wirklich lecker. Leider hat man vergessen uns Besteck zu geben, auf das wir 10 min warten mussten und ich hätte bestimmt auch mehr getrunken wenn der Service besser auf uns reagiert hätte. Allerdings mit nur 2 Leuten im Service nicht immer leicht. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder wenn ich mal wieder in Dresden bin und vielleicht gibt's den fehlenden Stern beim nächsten mal

Khuyến khích m.n nên đặt chỗ nếu đến vào giờ cao điểm. Còn lại thì đồ ăn 10đ, ko có nhưng 😌😌😌 đúng chuẩn ng Hàn nấu nha. Đồ ăn nhìn ngon vs đẹp mắt lắm, mà quên chụp mất rồi :))))

The restaurant is one of the best korean restaurants I’ve visited. Really delicious food. The service was exceptional and agreed to change the menuitem into a vegetarian one (bibimbap with tofu). Would highly recommend if you are looking for an authentic korean restaurant in Dresden.

There are only very few places in Dresden where you can eat authentic Asian food. The Korean restaurant Sura is one of them. Food has improved alot since I visited it the first time which was abt 3 years ago. I would especially recommend the stews .. very yummy. But all the other things on the menu that I tried were also very good. The staff is very friendly and the place is casual.

We liked everything we ordered and even got twice of two orders. It helped that we went here with Korean friends (who knew what to order for us) - for trying out Korean cuisine the very first time, we all had a fantastic time and wonderful food. The seafood pancake was phenomenal especially when you dip it in soya sauce ;)

Tolles koreanisches Restaurant mit freundlichem Service! Wir wurden gut bedient und das Essen war durchweg prima! Für den großen Hunger empfehle ich das Chicken - wirklich lecker! Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis sucht seinesgleichen! Dank Innenhof ist man auch gut abgeschirmt von der Straße.

Authentische koreanische Küche mit ganz neuen Geschmäckern! Besonders der Reiskuchen in scharfer Soße zur Vorspeise hat mich sehr begeistert - mega lecker! Der Service ist äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir saßen super schön draußen im Hinterhof.

Worst Bimbimbab I ever had. No taste, 95% rice, less than a teaspoon of minced meat. 13.- plus 8.- for the need of cash. Time for this restaurant’s feel a bit over.

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit hervorragender und authentischer Küche. Wir waren bereits mehrfach da und es hat uns immer geschmeckt, egal ob wir Ddokbboki und Bulgogi BBQ oder Kimchi Jeon und Bibimbab hatten. Der Service war immer schnell und gut. Reservierung per Telefon oder Mail klappt auch immer hervorragend. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt wäre die nicht funktionierende Reservierung über die Webseite. Diese sollte vielleicht einmal abgestellt werden.

We waited exactly one hour to have our first dish. They did not even say 'sorry'. The table next to us came to the place 40 minutes later than us but they received the food at the same time as us. This is intolerable even if today was Friday night. If they can not handle the order, they should not receive the customers at the first place!

Wir hatten telefonisch reserviert für 2 Personen, das würde ich auch immer Abends empfehlen. Unser essen kam in angenehmem Tempo und war super lecker. Von den jjin Manju waren wir nicht so überzeugt aber das liegt an persönlichem Geschmack. Wir kommen gern wieder

Most favourite restaurant in Dresden! Every dish is tastier than the other and they’re quite cheap for the portion they provide! Excellent service is only a Cherry on top! We’ve had kimchi jeon, bibimbap, teokbokki, japchae and so many other dishes that I forgot to click a picture of since the food was too tempting🤤😅 Been a regular customer of theirs since 2020 and I’d suggest advance booking during the weekend since they’re quite full and might deny you a spot! 들어가자마자 외부음식안된다고 생수한병 바닥에 내려놓으라함....오케이 뭐 그럴 수있지 근데 말하는 폼이 좀 그렇다? 메뉴판에 8.얼마 불고기 시켰는데 알고보니 13.9였음 내가 본건 런치메뉴였음ㅋ 근데 이상한건 다른건 한국말로 다 표시되어있는데 런치메뉴코너에만 한국말 쏙빼놓아서 오해하기 쉬움..?나에겐 스캠으로 다가오는디? 그거 런치메뉴인거 모르게 할려고? 그리고 15이상부터 카드결제가능함 그거모르고 있었음, 13.9짜리 비싼요리(?)먹고 1.1강제팁줌ㅋㅋ 근데 나갈때 인사도 안하더라? 다른손님들한테는 전부 안녕히가세요하더니?;; 난 문옆자리 앉아서 나가는 사람들 다 봄 15유로짜리 비싼 거의 2만원넘지?ㅋ 설탕듬뿍 불고기먹음ㅋ 그냥 창렬같은 식당이니깐 가지마세요 돈 많은 놈이나 한국음식 궁금해 미칠거 같은 양놈들이나 가지 쩝 ㅋ;;

Das frittierte Hühnerfleisch mit frischem Chili hat gut geschmeckt und hatte eine gesunde Schärfe. Das als Beilage bestellte Kimchi war ein gelungener Gegenpool. Auf jeden Fall gibt es auf der Speisekarte noch viel zu entdecken. Das Personal war aufmerksam, sehr freundlich und agil. Die Einrichtung ist erfrischend schlicht aber solide und ansprechend.

Die Preis ist teuer für so kleine Portion. Die Essen ist normal. Keine Überraschung. Wenn man koreanische Speisen probieren möchte, kann man mal gehen.
