I stopped by on my way to Dresden on a business trip~ Actually, it's not a tourist destination, but it's located in a residential area, so it takes a while to get there, but it looks like a remodeled home, and I really miss Korean food when I stay in Europe for a long time, but it was like a welcome rain during the drought. I had kimchi fried rice, tteokbokki, and soft tofu stew, and it really tasted like home cooking. I enjoyed it so much. It's a shame I couldn't take a picture because I was so hungry. Mainly German locals come here, but when Koreans come, they seem to put even more effort into the food. You are kind and your son is very cute haha. However, there is a distance, and it takes a while to make it if there are a lot of customers, so come when you have time. (I made a reservation in advance via message and ate there quickly, but there were also people waiting~) I enjoyed the meal ^^

Came to this place by chance! Shoes had to be taken off...there were only a few seats inside, which is why you probably have to make a reservation, especially on the weekend. The food was very tasty and was cooked by the owner herself. I can't confirm that it took a long time, like some reviews here. If you're in the area and like authentic Korean cuisine, you should definitely stop by. But there should also be cash with you because the card reader didn't work.

Super great restaurant with an absolute feel-good atmosphere! We went there with our son and enjoyed a wonderful meal! Everything is freshly prepared, which is why it can sometimes take a little longer. But the wait is worth it 😃 We'll be back soon!

You have to have been there at least once. And I will do it again and again.

It's like a home. According to the owner, this is just a typical restaurant in Korea and not a gourmet restaurant. However, when you travel around Europe, there are many places that sell basic Korean food at high prices. I think this place is faithful to the basics, and the prices are cheaper than other Korean restaurants. I remember that the stir-fried pork rice bowl was 13.xx euros. However, what is disappointing is that the main customer base is local Germans, so the store is located far away from tourist attractions.

We were here for the first time last night and definitely not the last time. We were thrilled by the beautiful and quiet atmosphere, as if you were visiting good friends. The selection is plentiful and most are also available vegan or vegetarian. There are wonderfully delicious drinks. But the food was the icing on the cake - we all tasted fantastic and we would have loved to lick our plates :) From starter to dessert it was a dream. We will be back definitely! Thanks again for the lovely evening.

The owner is an extremely sweet woman and her child is also very nice and cute. The food was so good that I regretted eating a sandwich a few hours earlier. The service was quick, friendly and good. I sat in the outside area of ​​the restaurant and it was well maintained and relaxing to sit there. The inside of the restaurant also looked very inviting and was really nice. All in all 10/10, will definitely go there again!

We try out many restaurants in Dresden and went here for dinner. Very great atmosphere to relax. Very tasty food and in my understanding as a non-connoisseur of Korean cuisine, this is very authentic Korean cuisine. Amell is incredibly hospitable and even though there was a lot going on on our evening and we had to wait quite a long time, it didn't feel bad and was an experience for the whole evening. There is a very large selection for vegetarians and I recommend the great teas. Oh, it's an advantage if you can speak English

Where do I start and why did I have to leave in the first place? This question still drives me late into the night. That's how intense my experience was in this restaurant, where backyard romance and delicious flavors invite you to linger and enjoy. The menu offers an overwhelming culinary fireworks display and the first bite sparked a feast on my tongue that I'm still dancing to inside. The interior area, which primarily offers entry to hunters of good taste in winter, is very clean and well maintained. Of course, when you enter, you take off your street shoes and slip into a pair of comfortable slippers. You feel at home and feel a deep love and security. This love is also reflected in the food. So I personally felt every bite was like a loving hug and a slipping away of my worries. The price here is in the middle range, which in my opinion is fair in every respect. I would be happy to come back and can only recommend this small restaurant, where the expression "the way through the stomach is" is fulfilled in every way, to anyone who wants to be embraced in terms of taste.

We just came back from Korea and I'm so happy we found Amell. That cures a bit of my wanderlust. :) Super tasty bulgogi & cucumber kimchi also recommended! Amell is run by one woman - she cooks, serves and runs the whole place. Your story is very remarkable! You can read them at the back of the menu. A few Tipps: • call in advance - there are only a few places • Bring language skills - the landlady speaks very good English, so it's easy to talk to her • Bring your time - here you can slow down and be treated to fresh cuisine • Bring slippers or thick socks (not a must, of course) - indoors, in typical Korean fashion, shoes are taken off We'll be coming here often, I'm sure!

At Amell it feels like you have been part of the family for a long time. This was my first time tasting Korean food and I was thrilled. The menu has both vegetarian and vegan options for many dishes and a detailed explanation of what each is about. I thought the food was fantastic. Particularly noteworthy was the mango dessert with ice cream at the end. Recommended by Amell personally. Amell is very busy and has few staff, so it can take a while for the main courses to arrive, but we were prepared for that. The great tea helps with the waiting time and you get very freshly prepared food. It is an advantage to be able to speak English, but the menu also contains German explanations and pictures, so not a big problem. All in all we had a great dinner. We recommend! Bring an empty stomach and some time. English: Amell is such a nice place to eat and just feel right at home. I was diving into my first experience with korean food and loved everything i ordered. I ate the vegetarian options of the most recommended food items.( there are vegan options as well!!) Biggest shout out to the Mango shaved Ice Cream dish! that was super tasty. Amell really has a lot of work to do and little staff to deal with all the customers at the same time, but tries really hard to make everyone feel at home. You might need to wait a bit, but everything gets freshly made and every tea on the menu is worth tasting while you wait for the food. we had a great dinner. Go for it and bring time and empty stomach(you will want to eat lots)

We got there and first had to take off our shoes. Then it took quite a while until we got the card. Then it took a little longer to order and again longer to get the food. As a good German, I would now warn every guest not to visit with a double-laminated piece of paper. It's different here. You don't go to this restaurant primarily to get full (don't worry, you will). People go here to have a good time. The cook and server are the same person. She even gives you tips on eating and is open to a chat. The food is truly bliss and something different. Of course you have to bring some time but hey, if you just want to fill yourself up you can also put a frozen pizza in the oven. If, on the other hand, you want to have a nice time and experience something new culinary, this is the right place for you.

There were two of us and four of us there - all in 2023. Everyone really enjoyed it, from the ambience, to the lady who cooks *and* serves, to the taste experience 🎆. Map varied. Meat lovers, vegetarians and vegans found what they were looking for. We treated ourselves to three courses, a starter was shared and 2* ice cream for 4 people was generous. Prices absolutely okay. Very warm hostess, delicious Korean home cooking, secret restaurant. For larger groups, the food will be staggered a bit. All in all, worth a visit again.

We found Amell when we randomly stopped on the long journey by car. We thought this place looked cosy and we really wanted something a bit further from the highway. It turned out to be a really beautiful experience, Amell was welcoming and kind, food she prepared was absolutely amazing, tasty and fresh. We forgot about our tiredness and enjoyed this little moment from a fairy tale.

Wow I’m literally amazed, the restaurant is lovely and cozy, the menu is pretty nice and clear, the beverages were perfect cuz we had matcha lattes, the side dish and the main dishes were delicious and tasty plus the portions were perfect, should I mention that it was my wedding anniversary and the owner was absolutely nice and charming with us!! We will definitely go back as many times we can, this place is a hidden gem and worth the visit.

Ein Restaurant was man einfach nur toll finden kann. Die Köchin und der Service ist eine einzige liebenswerte Frau. Daher unbedingt reservieren. Es wird alles frisch zubereitet und fühlt sich absolut authentisch an.

Wir sind durch Zufall auf Google Maps auf Amells gemütliches Restaurant aufmerksam geworden. Man wurde direkt gastfreundlich bedient und bekam die persönlich gestaltete Karte mit interessanten Infos. Sowohl beim Essen als auch bei der Gastgeberin können wir uns bei den anderen Bewertungen anschließen. Selbst wenn man Mal länger auf sein Essen warten musste, war es das absolut wert. Das Tteokbokki und Tteok Mandu Guk haben super geschmeckt und auch die Nachspeisen und Getränke waren sehr lecker. Die Besitzerin war stets zuvorkommend und man hat sich hier direkt zu Hause gefühlt. Wir kommen gerne noch einmal wieder.

Wunderschönes kleines Restaurant. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Es wirkt nicht wie ein Restaurant sondern eher wie an 'zuhause'. Klein und gemütlich. Man kann ewig verweilen und das tolle Essen genießen. Das Essen ist mega,wahnsinnig lecker und mit liebe angerichtet und es wird erklärt wie man es essen soll. Ich war begeistert. Reservieren wäre von Vorteil,da es wirklich ein kleines Restaurant ist. Ich komme auf alle Fälle wieder!!!!

Wir waren nur übers verlängerte Wochenende zu Besuch in Dresden. Unsere Korea-affine Tochter durfte ein Restaurant aussuchen und so fanden wir mit zwei Einheimischen den Weg ins Amell. Durch unseren kleinen Hund war es uns nicht möglich im Innenraum Platz zu nehmen, sondern mussten mit einem der Außentische Vorlieb nehmen. Die Gastgeberin ist eine sehr nette und freundliche Koreanerin, die zwar auch etwas deutsch spricht, ansonsten jedoch auf englisch bedient, oder eben koreanisch. Auch die Angestellte war äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Absoluter Top Service! Unsere Tochter fand mit dem liebenswert flippigen Jungen der Gastgeberin Beschäftigung und die beiden verstanden sich hervorragend. Die Speisekarte beschreibt genau, was in den jeweiligen Speisen ist und hilft ein wenig, sich diese besser vorzustellen. Die Speisen waren alle frisch zubereitet und schmeckten hervorragend. Zur Speise sagte die Gastgeberin dann meist noch etwas, z. B. wie oder auf welche Weise man dieses isst. Auch die Nachspeisen waren ein absoluter Traum. Da wirklich alles frisch zubereitet wird, muss man etwas Zeit mitbringen. Das sollte man wissen. Abschließend muss ich sagen, wir haben uns absolut wohl gefühlt und kommen das nächste Mal gerne wieder. Selbst unsere Einheimischen, die dieses Restaurant nicht kannten und Koreanischen Restaurants eher vorbehaltlich gegenüber standen, waren sehr begeistert und werden es nun weiterempfehlen. I love Korean food and I am always going to korean restaurants everywhere I go. The dumplings were juicy and crispy. But the japchae was not well seasoned and I didn't enjoy it. We waited half an hour for some Cola and 2 hours for the food, there were just three tables seated.

Wer bereit ist, sich auf etwas Anderes einzulassen, sollte einmal Amell besuchen. Das Lokal ist eigentlich eine Wohnung, der kleine Speiseraum beherbergt vier Tische, bei gutem Wetter gibt es auch einige Sitzplätze im Vorgarten. Und Zeit braucht man, denn hier wird jedes Gericht frisch zubereitet. Das sind echte, koreanische Speisen, nicht angepasst und sehr schmackhaft. Alkoholische Getränke sucht man auf der Speisekarte vergeblich, bezahlen kann man in bar per per Direktüberweisung.

Da wir das Essen im dunklen gesucht haben (was im übrigen sehr lecker war) hat der Besuch ein wenig gelitten. Eine Außenbeleuchtung ist hier sicher angebracht. Leider sehr schwer umzusetzen. Gibt es denn niemanden der hier eine Lösung hat? Liebe Gäste- wenn ihr das lest- vielleicht hat jemand einen Tipp. Der schiefe Untergrund macht es auch nicht besser für die (originellen) Sitzmöglichkeiten . Ich komme gerne wieder.

Sehr schönes koreanisches Restaurant was durchaus zu empfehlen ist. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und fühlten uns sehr Wohl. Wir hatten eine Auswahl typisch koreanischer Speisen und alle waren sehr gut. Gern kommen wir mal wieder um anderen Sachen zu probieren.

Mit Familie gestern zu Abend gegessen. Absolut empfehlenswert. Wer es liebt von der englisch sprechenden Gastgeberin verwöhnt zu werden, dazu wie im eigenen Wohnzimmer mit offener Küche in Hausschuhen oder gemütlichen Strümpfen zu speisen, ist hier absolut richtig. Die Speisen frisch gekocht und mit einer liebenswerten Art serviert und am Tisch hergerichtet mit Tipps zum verspeisen. Dazu mehr als lecker typisch koreanisch mit Chili. Es wird mein Lieblingsrestaurant.

Es war sehr sehr lecker. Angefangen bei den Teigtaschen, über Suppe und gegrilltes Schweinefleisch. Alles wird von einer Person gemacht, daher auf jeden Fall viel Zeit mitbringen, es lohnt sich. Die Speisen sehen auch super aus, hab leider erst fotografiert, nachdem wir schon die Hälfte gegessen hatten.

Amell ist ein tolles, kleines, koreanisches Restaurant, dass von der gleichnamigen Inhaberin betrieben wird. Sie bedient, kocht und serviert in Personalunion koreanische Spezialitäten. Wenn man sicher einen Platz finden möchte, sollte man im Vorfeld des Besuchs einen Tisch reservieren. Im Sommer ist das Sitzen im Freien möglich. Die Karte beinhaltet ausschließlich alkoholfreie Speisen und Getränke. Gleich zu Beginn unseres Besuchs informierte uns die Inhaberin, dass es heute länger dauern würde, was für uns aber vollkommen in Ordnung war, da wir Zeit mitgebracht hatten. Wir haben dann insgesamt 2,5h bei Amell verbracht. Als Vorspeise kosteten wir die Dumplings, welche selbstgemacht und vorzüglich geschmeckt haben - die besten Dumplings die ich bisher finden konnte. Als Hauptspeise wählten wir Japchae, da Bibimbap leider schon ausverkauft war. Das Japchae - was für eine Wucht! Die Glasnudeln harmonieren perfekt mit den gut gewürzten Zutaten. Ergänzend haben wir das Gurken Kimchi probiert. Perfekt. Alles in allem ein schöner und schmackhafter Besuch. Wir kommen gerne wieder, auch weil die Inhaberin uns mit überragender Freundlichkeit behandelt hat. Wir sind begeistert und haben den Abend sehr genossen. Danke!

Eines der besten Restaurants, die ich kenne. Das Essen ist unglaublich gut und definitiv mit Liebe gemacht :) Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Ambiente sehr gemütlich. Ich kann es jedem empfehlen!

Das Essen war sehr lecker und auch super angerichtet. Aber was nicht so toll war ist der Service. Zwar nett aber echt unaufmerksam. Außerdem hätte irgendwo stehen können,das es keine alkoholische Getränke gibt.

Uns schmeckt es hier sehr gut. So alle 2 Monate sind wir Mal Gast. Sie braucht bissi länger da sie alleine kocht und Bestellungen annimmt aber es schmeckt prima ;) kleine Karte und man soll die Schuhe ausziehen wenn man das Lokal betritt, ist wohl da so Brauch wo die Köchin herkommt ;) nur wenige Tische und Stühle, etwas kahl. Tiny cute restaurant with some living room vibes :) But first things first! You have to take your shoes off! We did not mentioned sign on the door and just rushed in bc we where kinde starved. yikes! Sorry again :) I loved it there! The food was super delicious! As a group of 4 people, we wanted to try everything. The waitress/cook noticed it and served every meal after another in the middle of the table. Every meal was so delicious and fresh ☺️.... can't say more... TRY IT! It was such a nice experience to be there and I will go there soon! One of my favorite spots now in dresden.

Das Essen war absolut köstlich - leckerleckerlecker! Frisch zubereitet, aus der Pfanne auf den Teller. Gun Mandu, gefüllte Teigtaschen, waren die besten Taschen, die ich jemals gegessen habe!!! Einziger Makel waren der sehr niedrige Tisch und die harten kleinen Stühle - da bleibt man freiwillig nicht so lange. Wer aber nur schnell das tolle Essen genießen will, den wird das nicht stören.

Herausragend! Eine tolle Atmosphäre und geschmacklich eine Wucht. Eine wundervolle Erfahrung für die man unbedingt genug Zeit mitbringen sollte um nicht in Hektik zu verfallen. Das Essen von Amell ist immer frisch zubereitet und so dauert es mal etwas länger. Das ist in Anbetracht dessen, dass Sie alles allein macht nur allzu verständlich. Durch eine Freundin wurden wir auf dieses kleine Restaurant aufmerksam. Man fühlt sich wie bei Freunden zu Hause.Das Essen war wahnsinnig lecker und Amell hatte immer alles im Blick. Sicher ist vorbestellen empfehlenswert, da es nur wenige Plätze gibt. Auch sollte man Zeit mitbringen, da sie alles frisch zubereitet und alles alleine macht. Es war ein sehr besonderer Abend, vielen Dank dafür.

허겁지겁 먹느라 사진찍는걸 깜빡한 유일한 식당이네요. 집에서 평범한 가정주부는 만들 수 없는 너무 맛있는 집밥이었습니다. 불고기쌈밥 진짜 맛있습니다. 불고기덮밥, 만둣국도 맛있었습니다. 만둣국 국물까지 전부 싹싹 마셨습니다. 사교성 좋은 꼬맹이도 반가웠습니다. 흥하십시오!

Eine sehr nette und selbstbewusste Köchin die ihr kleines Restaurant liebt. Klein und gemütlich gestaltet, wo man sich willkommen fühlt sobald man die Hausschlappen anzieht. Die Preise sind wirklich fair und man kann sich ein richtig gutes Essen zur heutigen Zeit noch leisten. Geschmacklich war es einfach super und wir werden dort öfters einkehren. Wir haben vorher per WhatsApp und Übersetzer von Google auf Englisch reserviert. Wir müssen unser Englisch wieder auffrischen :). Sie übt fleißig Deutsch. Das passt zusammen! 👍. Ich bin zufällig auf das Amell gestoßen und hab kurzerhand einen Tisch bestellt. Wir waren zu zweit in dem von außen recht unscheinbar wirkenden aber innen gemütlichen kleinen Restaurant, das einfach mal ganz anders ist als andere. Gerade das macht es aber auch aus! Amell ist Inhaberin, Köchin und Bedienung in einem, super nett und voll auf Zack!😉 Das Essen wird alles frisch zubereitet und ist einfach super lecker!!! Für uns, die das erste Mal koreanisch gegessen haben, eine wahres Geschmackserlebnis und einfach nur zu empfehlen für alle die ihren Gaumen mit etwas Neuem erfreuen wollen!!! Preis-Leistung stimmt hier auf jeden Fall auch und kann sich sehen lassen. Vorbestellung ist definitiv empfehlenswert, da die 5 Tische für insgesamt 12 Gäste schnell besetzt sind. Man sollte auch ohne Zeitdruck ins Amell gehen, da eben alles frisch von Amell allein zubereitet wird und somit etwas mehr Zeit in Anspruch nimmt. Schlichtes kleines Restaurant mit toller und authentischer Küche. Küche und Service kommen aus der selben Hand, was mitunter Wartezeiten bedingt. Das super leckere Essen wiegt das aber sofort wieder auf und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist phänomenal gut!

Gemütliches kleines Lokal mit nur 14 Sitzplätzen und einer sehr netten und herzlichen Gastgeberin, die Küche und Service alleine wuppt. Das Essen ist frisch gekocht und unheimlich lecker. Aufgrund der wenigen Plätze empfiehlt es sich vorher zu reservieren.

Wir besuchten dieses kleine ein Personen Personal Restaurant an einem trüben Donnerstagabend. Die Vorbestellung war notwendig da das Restaurant maximal 14-15 Plätze hat. Die Speisekarte Bar abwechslungsreich und interessant. Auch die Speisen waren wohlschmeckend und gut gewürzt. Küche und Bedienung werden von einer jungen Frau in personal Union geschafft. Sie spricht kaum Dutsch, Kenntnisse der englischen Sprache sind nötig. Wem ein unasiatisch, spartanisches Ambiente egal ist, für den ist dieses Restaurant durchaus eine Empfehlung wert.

Der 1. Besuch war ein ganz eigenes Erlebnis: man zieht vor dem "Lokal" seine Schuhe aus und hat die Möglichkeit im Laden Hausschuhe anzuziehen. Das Wort Lokal habe ich in Anführungszeichen gesetzt, da man sich mehr wie in einem heimischen Wohnzimmer, als in einem Lokal fühlt. Die Köchin ist zugleich Gastgeberin, wodurch es zu ein paar zeitlichen Verzögerungen kommt, die aber absolut zu Verschmerzen sind und einem großartigen Besuch keinen Abbruch tun. Das Essen war wirklich unglaublich lecker und die Gastgeberin sehr sehr herzlich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Wichtig: auf jeden Fall einen Platz reservieren.

Amell ist eine wunderbare Köchin, die erst seit Kurzem in Deutschland ist. Ein kleines schlichtes Restaurant - man kann einen Blick in die Küche werfen. Aber da steckt echte koreanische Kochkunst drin, trotzdem nicht zu teuer! Sehr empfehlenswert!

Das Essen war sehr lecker , es wurde frisch von der Inhaberin zubereitet . Die Menükarten ist überschaubar , nur wenn man alkoholische Getränke trinken möchte wird man enttäuscht es gibt nur alkoholfrei Getränke.

Sehr kleines gemütliches Restaurant in wohnlicher Umgebung. Zu Beginn müssen die Schuhe ausgezogen werden. ( es gibt eine Art Hausschuhe) Köchin und Bedienung in einer Person, was aber nichts zur Sache tut. Essen schmeckt fantastisch. Man sollte auf keinen Fall ein großes Restaurant mit vielen Angestellten erwarten und dementsprechend ein bisschen Zeit einplanen, was aber in der heutigen Zeit sehr gut tut. Ich kann das Amell sehr empfehlen. (Es kann nicht schaden, Englisch zu sprechen)

Wahrscheinlich das beste koreanische Essen in dieser Gegend von Dresden, obwohl es nur wenige Gerichte zur Auswahl gibt

Wir haben das Restaurant zufällig bei einem Spaziergang entdeckt. Essen war sehr lecker und frisch gekocht. Man fühlt sich wie zu Besuch bei der äußerst freundlichen Besitzerin. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.
