I can't complain; one can really be glad that there are still affordable hot meals available for people living on the edge. The staff also strives to offer a variety of options, although it's not always easy, as the available budget is very limited. Sure, some dishes aren't to everyone's taste, but some dishes can certainly hold their own against those of a regular restaurant.

Very inexpensive, good selection, and friendly support and service, you can certainly argue about the offer, but there are many dishes that can definitely stand up to the restaurants, and the staff also remains almost the same as it was, with predominantly female staff, and If you're not happy here, you should think about how you can cook food at home for 2 euros, it's just not possible, and it's just as wonderful that the soup kitchen wasn't completely closed during these difficult times

Today is March 3rd, and we were served potatoes with cabbage rolls.../that's what it was supposed to be. Only young men or teenagers work in the kitchen. My meal consisted of 3-4 shiny little potatoes and a completely shredded cabbage roll. If the people don't feel like working, they have to be replaced. It's only €2, but the meal wasn't worth 50 cents.

[Lieferando order] Food (Chicken fried noodles, egg fried rice with shrimp, and Hanoi spring rolls) Edible, but not as good or as cheap as the Asian takeaway nearby. Furthermore, the bowl of sauce that came in the same package as the spring rolls leaked, causing the rolls to become soggy. The delivery person was nice and wore a mask. Therefore, one more star. Update: Could have been better for €14. The chicken udon noodles and the beef pho le could have used some salt. And they could have taken the time to remove the strings from the baked bananas. The delivery person was okay.

Hallorenring 10Update: nach einem Jahr regelmäßigen Besuches meinerseits korrigiere ich meine Bewertung nun herunter. Neben den kleinen Portionen und der Unfreundlichkeit gesellt sich nun auch noch Knauserigkeit. Beispiele aus dem Alltag: Ich wollte meine kartoffelbeilage von zwei Kartoffeln auf "etwas mehr" erhöhen und das wurde mir verwehrt. Einen "kleinen Klecks Soße mehr" wird mit einem Aufschlag von 1,5 € bestraft. Das Gesamtpaket ist einfach nicht mehr verhältnismäßig. Meine alte Rezession: Das Essen ist hier recht günstig und im allgemeinen auch sehr lecker. Fleischgerichte können sie sehr gut zubereiten. Bei den vegetarischen Gerichten tun sie sich etwas schwer. Die Portionsgrössen sind für ältere Menschen ausreichend. Einen hungriger Mann sollte lieber noch zu einer Vorsuppe greifen. Die Küchenfrauen sind im allgemeinen sehr hektisch und äusserst unfreundlich. Wer darüber hinwegsehen kann, der findet in dieser Kantine eine sehr gute Alternative zu mittagstischen. Ich kehre hier regelmässig ein.

Barfüßerstraße 8❗️ Excellent service and a nice selection ❗️ The service was very attentive and courteous, the food was prepared quickly and was tasty, though not exceptional. The venison roast was quite tough, but this was balanced out by the fried potatoes and the dessert. I didn't really like the ambiance, as it felt very bare and cold.
