I really rarely write reviews. But when something is that good I just have to get rid of it!!!! The food is really amazing! It's really difficult to find sushi like this in Ansbach and at that price. Just like the warm dishes :) The staff is super nice and likes to have fun^^ Totally likeable :) And lastly, the waiting times are totally acceptable as many orders as you can get in! I'm really happy that the restaurant exists and I'll always be happy to order and go there :)

Phew, that's it for me with Sumo Sushi. It used to be a good little snack bar, but unfortunately it's no longer anything at all. Not only has it become standard that you still have to wait half an hour every time you order something in advance, but the food has simply become bad. Sauces all taste relatively similar, namely mainly of vegetable stock powder and meat, especially duck, is really of the lowest quality. The fact that you won't be able to pay by card in 2024 does the rest. It's a shame, they used to be pretty good...

Totally rude!!!! I wanted to order food and the lady became really rude because I didn't call first and then she rudely attacked me. You shouldn't treat customers like that!!! Then some people waited forever for their food and my wait was already over an hour. This is definitely not how you treat customers!!!!!

Sushi rolls were okay. However, when I arrived with my 2yo toddler and asked for just a rice and seaweed roll, the lady stated they don't do that there. For rudeness and lack of hospitality, we won't be back.

We ordered food over the phone, wanted to pick it up after 45 minutes, we were told that we hadn't ordered anything, so we said again what we were getting and waited another 40 minutes. The fried starters were cold, the duck was very fatty and the peanut sauce was inedible. You can't even throw out the bottle of Coke as an excuse

We get our food there for work every Thursday lunchtime. Price/performance is simply top!

You get what you pay for couldn't be further from the truth with here. The pricing for the sushi and meals may be cheap but the food definitely is not! Some of the best sushi around in my opinion. I prefer their fried rice meals and they make sure you are well fed.

Always a regular customer, but won't be coming back any time soon. A time is always given when the food can be picked up, but then you wait at least another 30 minutes in the store. The employee who cashes in - visibly overwhelmed. The ordering system definitely needs to be worked on!!

The food is very good and very cheap compared to other sushi shops. Not only sushi, but also the noodles taste very good. If you order the food (and pick it up yourself), they prepare it in 15-20 minutes. And the workers are very nice.

Explanation for my rating: 1* because the food doesn't taste good. 1* service? You have to write down your order yourself. 1* Ambiance?? Sorry, but it's so cold inside and not clean either, the whole floor just sticks. 😂

We loved this little sushi shop. The food, especially the sushi, was always very good. You often had to wait, the ambience was rustic, dingy, the tone of the sushi artist was rough... That didn't matter to us. Today we wanted to eat there. We wrote down our order clearly (sometimes whistled because of supposedly unclear writing). With the hint that we wanted to eat there. The lady snapped at me: “Pick up only!” She looked at me angrily. No explanation, nothing... We've been regular customers for four years... We paid for the drinks that were opened but not touched and left. We drove to Aras Döner and were happy about the lovely, hospitable faces and the feeling of being welcome.

The sushi was ok, the rice was a bit mushy. However, I had a fly in the ointment which brings me to this review.

Food tastes like nothing. Sauces disgusting. We had peanut and chop. My husband also had a long hair in his food. NEVER AGAIN

Key points: food is above what you would expect for the price. Expect it to be busy. Very small dining room (3 tables). Have someone who speaks German if possible. **Exercise patience.** This is a 4 person restaurant. It's going to take a little time to get your food. Overall we couldn't be happier. There was a mistake with our order, we pointed it out, it got fixed. No fuss. Nothing like other reviews who said there was a fight about their orders being wrong.

I've eaten here for about seven years prices are good and so is the food, I typically just go in to order so there are no confusion.

Erstmal Pro: Preise sind okay, Personal freundlich, Geschäft klein aber in Ordnung Contra: Ich habe zwei Mal rotes Curry mit Ente und Reis bestellt (Nr. 44 zum abholen und mitnehmen). Als ich es daheim geöffnet habe kam die Ernüchterung... Es war weder rot noch Curry. Es war Ente mit Reis und Gemüse mit braun/beiger Soße. Obwohl auf beiden Essen handschriftlich die 44 draufstand. Man konnte es zwar Essen, aber besonders lecker war es nicht, vorallem weil es auch nicht das war was ich wollte. Alles in allem leider enttäuschend...

Lieblingsessen und Lieblings -Sushi in Ansbach

Wir haben uns einmal 73a und einmal 72a bestellt. Essen: Etwas geschmacklos, das Hähnchen viel zu dick für unseren Geschmack (teilweise 3cm). Jedoch waren es viel zu große Portionen (dafür hat man am nächsten Tag noch etwas ;-) .. ). Service: Die Frau war sehr unfreundlich, auch zu anderen Gästen die neu hereinkamen um zu bestellen. Dafür war der Koch sehr sehr freundlich, er hat die Bezahlung durchgeführt. Ambiente: Sah für ein Schnellimbiss in Ordnung aus.

Sushi war gut. Warmes Essen war nicht gut.

Finde das waren die besten nudeln (72a) die ich jemals gegessen habe. Ist günstig und schick sieht es innen aus. Die Mitarbeiter scheinen einen coolen eindruck zu machen🤙🏽

Hab mir schon öfters Sushi geholt. Es ist mit Abstand das beste ! Aber das wird man echt über den Tisch gezogen . Auf der Karte steht 8 Stück . Bekommen tut man 7 . Nach Reklamation wurde uns gesagt da zählt auch der Ingwer und das Wasabi dazu! Ich will aber kein Wasabi und kein Ingwer. Nachdem ich aber echt sauer reagiert habe , hat die " nette" Dame mit genervtem Gesichtsausdruck einfach ein Sushi durchgeschnitten und somit waren es dann halt 8 Sushi. Mich sehen Die nicht wieder ! Zählt doch in Zukunft auch mal Eure Sushi's !!!!

Einfache Ausstattung, sehr leckeres Essen. Der Sanitärbereich könnte besser aussehen.

I loved the specialty sushi rolls, especially the fried chicken and fried duck rolls!

Leider war unser letzter Besuch nicht so gut, die Dame am Desk ist sehr schwer zu verstehen. Wärend wir gewartet haben hat mehrfach der Fehlerschutz-Schalter (FI) ausgelöst und wir saßen im Dunkeln. Das Essen war eigentlich sehr gut (🍣 Sushi), bei meiner Frau fehlten allerdings die Garnelen, wie es in der Speisekarte gestanden hat.

Das Sußhi ist zu empfehlen, die anderen Gerichte habe Ich noch nicht probiert.

Das Essen von Sumo Sushi ist kein 5 Sterne mit Trockeneis Garniertest Feinkost Sushi. Dafür stimmt hier Preis-Leistung. Für 50€ kann man bei anderen Lokalen noch nicht einmal zu zweit satt werden, hier bekommt man dafür Verpflegung für eine ganze Woche. Wir holen hier regelmäßig Essen und leider haben regelmäßig auch schon Verwechslungen der bestellten Gerichte stattgefunden. Wir empfehlen die Nummern so genau wie möglich am Telefon durch zugeben. Eine Online Bestellmöglichkeit wäre für Sumo Sushi vermutlich ein echter Kundenzufriedenheits Push. Wer sich überwinden kann in das sehr heruntergekommene "Restaurant" zu gehen wir vom Essen vermutlich nicht überrascht, aber eben auch nicht enttäuscht.

Essen Sushi, Nudeln mit Garnelen usw., wir als Familie sind begeistert, waren jetzt schon 6x hier. Betreiber super nett. Nudeln mit Rindfleisch, da war dann das Rindfleisch das letzte Mal gerade noch lauwarm und dann musste ich leider mal auf die Toilette und da hat es mir die Sprache verschlagen, denn die Spinnweben waren mind. 1 Jahr alt und ne Seife und was zum Abtrocknen waren absolute Fehlanzeige. Werden es noch einmal probieren und wenn dann nicht die Toiletten tiptop sauber sind, werden wir dieses Lokal nicht mehr betreten. Schade um das tolle Essen, allerdings muss halt auch das Gesamtpaket passen.

Bestes Sushi weit und breit. Preis-Leistung ist einfach der Hammer! Sehr schnell und super freundlich.

Preis Leistung ist ganz gut, auf den ersten Blick. Wir kamen mit einer 3-jahrigen und sie wollte etwas reis. Auf die Nachfrage, ob es den gebratenen reis auch in klein gibt schon ein Nein. Na gut... war dann aber auch nicht wirklich gut Das special sushi war in sojasoßencreme ertränkt und der Thunfisch nicht nur durch sondern erneut getötet. Sushi sonst ok, aber geht formschöner. Allgemein, lässt die Sauberkeit extrem zu wünschen übrig. Werde dort nicht mehr hin gehen

Ich und mein Partner essen öfters hier und können es nur weiterempfehlen. Die Preise sind günstiger als bei anderen Restaurants und das Essen sehr lecker.

Lange Wartezeit, trotz Anruf . Essen könnte wärmer sein . Deutsche Sprache, schwere Sprache. Da müsst ihr noch anständig dran arbeiten. Das Ambiente, ist sehr einfach gehalten. Aber egal --- es ist immer wieder gut 👍

Wir haben heute hier zum Abholen bestellt: wir haben 3 x das gelbe Curry bestellt.. wie auf dem Bild zu sehen, war es eher ein grünes Curry. Es hat einfach nur nach Gemüsebrühe geschmeckt. So ein schlechtes Curry haben wir noch nie gegessen! Wir haben angerufen und wollten nachfragen ob es wirklich so sein soll und es wurde uns nur erklärt, dass dies das normale Rezept ist und das war’s.. die gebratenen Nudeln, die wir noch hatten waren hingegeben sehr gut. Vielleicht nochmal an der Rezeptur vom Curry arbeiten, dann würden wir uns freuen. (evtl auch nicht mit Schlagsahne sondern nur mit Kokosmilch kochen - dann wäre es auch vegan)

Suppen waren total wässrig und geschmacklos. Mit Suppeneinlagen wurde auch gespart. Knusprige Ente war noch ganz ok, allerdings total fettig. Würde dort nichts mehr holen.

Bester chinessen Imbiss aus Ansbach Faire Preise und gute Portionen die auch voll machen :)

Wenn Sie nicht draußen essen, sondern Essen mitnehmen möchten, dann ist dies das Beste, was Sie im Umkreis von 50 km finden können. Bestes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis im Geschmack. Ich kann diese Einrichtung auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Leckeres Essen das schnell zubereitet wird und zu vernünftigen Preisen verkauft wird. Die Auswahl an verschiedenen Speisen ist sehr groß. Man kann vor Ort essen , allerdings ist das Ambiente mehr das von einem Schnellimbiss.

War lange Zeit unser Lieblingsasiate, bis die Preise ( nicht unerheblich) erhöht worden sind. Zu Stosszeiten gibts schonmal Chaos beim Abholen. Vorort zu essen ist beengt...wie im Schnellimbiss halt üblich...aber geschmacklich immer super.

Not sure what happened between 2016 and 2022, but this place went from being the bay sushi place to deliver with mediocre sushi to one of the best places in ansbach. Their pho soup is killer

Ordered salmon roe and was given something else entirely. For 10 minutes they tried to lie to me and tell me that it was what I ordered. They even claimed the English menu might have the different info thus making them right (it was the same). They then told me they haven’t had Ikura for 10 years now but it’s still on their menu (with current prices). They insisted I pay for the food I did not order, because according to them, it was not their fault. They tried to tell me ikura and tobiko taste the same. Suspicious comment from someone who runs a sushi restaurant. The rest of the food was no better. The food was unnecessarily sweet, even the soup. The people were downright rude. They told us complaining won’t do anything given they’ve been around for 10 years so it won’t do anything.

Es schmeckt gut,für mich aber ein wenig teuer

I went with my husband to have a quiet lunch, we asked kindly to the lady to please give us another container to put the sauce since I have allergic to certain things that my husband order and I cannot mix and the lady started to give me attitude yell and saying no, no and no, I even used my translator and a person who spoke German and English and did not allow him to translate either. We ended up paying fora meal that we do not eat and we left with no desire to eat there again.

One of the worst customer service I ever received. The lady at the counter was very disrespectful. We just paid and left.

Essen schnell zubereitet hat aber am Geschmack nicht gelitten. Portion nicht zu wenig genau richtig.Das einzige Manko das aussen Sitzen zu wenig Tisch.Innen würde ich sagen schlicht und einfach.

Hole immer wieder gerne hier auch wenn es bisschen weiter weg ist von mir. Dort ist bisher alles sehr gut was ich probiert habe aber vorallem das frittierte sushi schmeckt meinem Mund. Preise sehr sehr gut und es bleibt eigentlich immer ein wenig übrig für einen späteren Snack.
