Wir kommen immer wieder gerne in die Sumo Sushi Bar. Das Essen ist jedes Mal ausgesprochen lecker und überzeugt durch Frische und Qualität. Besonders beeindruckend ist der Kellner – seine Merkfähigkeit bei den zahlreichen Gerichten und Bestellungen ist wirklich außergewöhnlich. Es ist erstaunlich, wie aufmerksam und professionell er arbeitet. Auch die Location trägt zu einem rundum gelungenen Besuch bei. Das Ambiente ist mehr als gemütlich und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Zusammen mit dem freundlichen Service und dem hervorragenden Essen ergibt sich hier ein tolles Gesamterlebnis. Klare Empfehlung – wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch!

Zum Abschluss unseres Würzburg Besuch waren wir noch in der Sumo Sushi Bar essen. Das Ambiente und der Service waren mega. Alle waren freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Sushi war ausgesprochen lecker und für Würzburg sehr preiswert. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder hier her und ich glaube das wird unser Lieblings Sushi-Laden.

Wir bestellten Sushi, Misosuppe und Gans in süß-saurer Soße. Das Sushi war wie in Japan, die Misosuppe etwas anders, aber alles war sehr, sehr lecker.☺️ Sehr freundliches Personal und gute Preise.

Hatten gebratene Nudeln mit Ente, Sushi und vegetarisches Curry, alles hat sehr gut und sehr frisch geschmeckt, das Gemüse war schön knackig. Der hausgemachte Eistee auch sehr lecker. Service sehr freundlich. Gerne wieder.

Das ist ganz okay asiatisch Rezept und gut geschmeckt.

Restaurant ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und die Atmosphäre im Allgemeinen ist super. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und das Essen wird auch schnell an den Tisch gebracht. Ich möchte besonders hervorheben wie toll die Speisen angerichtet werden! Wow!!

Man kann bei Sumo eigentlich nicht richtig enttäuscht werden. Immer lecker, immer Mega frisch, das Personal ist unfassbar freundlich und kompetent.

Gutes preiswertes Essen, sowohl warm als auch kalt. Ich hatte dort warm zu Mittag gegessen und mir noch Sushi zum mitnehmen bestellt. Beides sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war schnell und freundlich. Das Essen war auch schnell zubereitet.

Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und ein Kind an einem Samstag zum Essen vor Ort. Leider kann ich das Lokal nicht empfehlen. Wir haben einen Kinderstuhl bekommen, auf dem die nassen Lampen geschmissen werden. Da es ein Holzstuhl war war das Holz feucht und verschimmelt. Ersatz gab es nicht. Wir hatten Reserviert, leider wurde uns weder bei der Reservierung noch bei der Ankunft mitgeteilt dass wir nur 1,5 Std Aufenthaltsgenehmigung haben. Nach der abgelaufenen Zeit wurden wir raus gebeten. Obwohl wir unser Essen noch nicht vollständig hatten. Und da der überforderte Service, nach langen warten, neue Getränke 5 Min vor Erzwungen verlassen dess Lokals brachte könnten wir diese auch nicht mehr leeren. Die Vorspeise kahm in einem Fall nach dem Hauptgericht. Bei einem Hauptgericht fehlte ein Teil. Ambiente ist okay, aber sehr eng und laut. Essen war geschmacklich okay, aber nichts besonderes. Fazit, an einem Samstag werden wir auf keinen Fall wieder in diesem Lokal essen gehen.

Das beste und leckerste Sushi in der Gegend! Wir kommen schon seit Jahren hierher. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam. Das Restaurant ist fast immer voll, daher empfehle ich eine Reservierung.

Ganz tolles "All you can eat" System, wenn einfach nichts mehr nachgelegt wird, wenn man nicht erst die teuersten Teller isst.

Ich bin hier her gekommen, um an der Bar zu essen. Die Speisen waren durchweg gut. Punktabzug, Leider, da die Schiffe nur Sperlich oder auf Nachfrage gefüllt wurden. Gerne hätte ich meinen Menü aus kleinen Vorspeisen, Sushi und Nachtisch gestaltet. Vorspeisen gab es sogar wir keine auf dem Schiffen, Teigtaschen wurden leider nicht aufgefüllt. Grüne Teller gab es leider gar nicht. Was ich bekommen habe war super lecker, ich musste mir nur leider von der Karte dazu bestellen, das geht bei 6 Bedingungen hinter der Theke bestimmt besser.

Wir waren hier eine Stunde vorm Feierabend , es war fast kaum jemand da, sehr ruhig. Ambiente ist relativ dunkel und im typisch asiatischem Style gehalten. Die Bedienung selbst ist freundlich, es gibt dort noch Lieferservice. Die ausgewählte Sushi waren lecker und frisch zubereitet! Ich würde nochmal hingehen und weiteres Sortiment aus der Speisekarte ausprobieren. ☺️

Bedauerlicherweise hatten wir jetzt bei den letzten drei Bestellungen Pech. Tot gebratenen Reis und zähe Ente mit Schwabbelgummi on top haben wir noch verschmerzt, sowie eine überzuckerte Erdnusssoße (Chicken war von knusprig gaaaanz weit entfernt) - kann ja mal passieren, denkt man sich... Sushi heute allerdings war mehr als enttäuschend. Der Reis war für Sushi viel zu trocken; beim Lachs war es leider nicht besser; Seaweed war schon fast zäh zum Kauen und nahezu alle Sushi Teilchen sind beim Anheben zerfallen, aber wenn man es doch unfallfrei schaffte, gab letztendlich die Sojasoße dem Röllchen den Todesstoß, wenn sie nicht vorher am Wasabiberg zerschellte. Ich hab noch nie so lange gebraucht, mit Stäbchen zerfallene Reiskörner aufzusammeln. Wenn ich frisch gemachte Sushi vom Vortag übrig habe, schauen die ebenfalls kühlschranktrocken aus. Hinzu kam, dass der Reis nicht vollständig den Inhalt umrahmte und euch das Seaweed offensichtlich ausgegangen ist, da eine komplette Umrandung fehlte - es hört halt irgendwo auf und vor allem nicht die Röllchen fest. Was für ein Glück, dass es keinen Wettlauf mit einer Restwärme des Gerichtes gab... puh... Aber jetzt mal im Ernst: Bei euch hat es doch sonst auch gepasst. Was ist in den letzten drei Bestellungen schiefgelaufen - gleich 3x hintereinander!? Ich hätte gerne Fotos hochgeladen, finde hierzu aber keine Möglichkeit. Allerdings besteht auch die Möglichkeit zur persönlichen Ansicht der Dateien vor Ort, wenn ihr das möchtet. Bitte nicht weiter so, dafür alles Gute für euch. Einen Versuch werden wir nochmal starten und hoffen doch euch treu bleiben zu dürfen.

Duck 102 and 103 We had very bad food: The rice was sticky. The vegetables were overcooked. The curry sauce was too salty. The duck was okay in comparison, but still nothing special. Really disappointed! I was visiting Würzburg and relied on the good reviews. In Berlin, a snack bar at the subway could have offered something like this for €7...but not in the city center for €15. The server was very friendly, though!

I literally love this place. Food price is excellent, food is very good too! You got some variety of sushi but also different dishes if your not a fan. You always have a "deal" during the week, but what I personally really like is the service, very often I'm with my family there, and they are so nice... I highly recommend ❤️

Great food and very attentive staff!

We were here for lunch. A nice ambience with running sushi. It was awesome to see those small boats running around in the water. The fried rice was yummy, the noodle was delicious and what makes them different was the wok burnt and tossed vegetables in the soy sauce. I had ordered : Crispy chicken breasts in Schezuan art, which was really amazing. I would love to order the same dish, next time too. The people at work are nice and friendly. The preparation of the order is also quick, so you don’t have to wait long for your food.

I had specially reserved a table a week ago. We got the table by the door, even though I had asked for a table where someone could celebrate a birthday. The food was great as always, but the service from this woman was terrible. She was rude and she was chewing gum the whole time, which is an absolute no-go for me. I wanted to change my meal a bit, but she said it wouldn't work because the dish was only available as a soup. I was disappointed because the dish was also available as a fried dish, but I didn't want to bother her any further and accepted it. All in all, it was an evening I could have done without, even though I have enjoyed eating there over the years. But that won't happen again in the future, unfortunately. I think it's a shame that things like this are exactly what lose you good customers who like to save a lot of money.

At first, the waiter was very attentive and kind, but eventually he almost stopped coming to us, and we had to wait longer to reorder, pay, etc. Everything costs extra: €2.50 for a sauce €0.80 for wrapping. However, you'll be informed of this beforehand.

Great restaurant with excellent food at reasonable prices. The only thing is that the door should be closed on cold days. Otherwise, everything is top-notch!

This is the first restaurant I know where the nigiris are priced per piece. We know many sushi restaurants, and this one tries to compete in the top league in terms of price, but the quality isn't up to scratch. Here, for example, the risotto was too sour (too much vinegar?), and it was still warm and very grainy. The shrimp on the nigiris were heavily scraped, so they were almost just for show. The maki were rolled too thickly (a lot of rice is good value), so they weren't sticky and fell apart. The service was very attentive. It's a shame, really; it could be much better.

Having already eaten Asian food in Europe, America, and even in its homeland, I can say that I've had the most delicious food in the world at this restaurant. The Szechuan beef and Szechuan duck are world-class.

The food was great and fast. The small restaurant had about 20 seats. We didn't have a reservation, but we got a cute little table for two. The only downside was the gum-chewing waitress.

Sumo Sushi on Martinstraße is always a real highlight! After calling, we easily got a table for four right at the running sushi counter. The sushi was freshly prepared and tasted delicious. The first-class service is particularly noteworthy: attentive, friendly, and professional. We feel completely at home here and are happy to come back again and again. Highly recommended!

Sushi falls apart, sashimi is the wrong pieces of salmon fillet. Overall, not well done, but at least it seems fresh.

Our spontaneous visit turned out to be a delicious experience. The miso soup with the al dente seaweed and the sweet and spicy Tom Kah Gung mixed with coconut milk are delicious. The sushi selection is also great. Overall, everything is well portioned and wonderfully decorated. (and not too expensive) Not to be forgotten is the friendly service. The Sushi Bar is definitely recommended. Bon appetit!

The food is in line with Taiwanese tastes, and the gentleman who took the order had a very good memory, and his ability to speak Chinese was another plus. You can come here to eat and take a break when you arrive in Würzburg before continuing your journey.

I'm just shocked. This is the first restaurant where we were kicked out of the table as soon as we paid the bill. We still had half a glass of drinks, and the administrator ran up and said: get out of here, we already have other customers! That is, if they have already received money from you, they will push you out so that they can seat others as soon as possible. I have never seen anything like this anywhere in the world. We are sitting with drinks, and they are kicking us out! Then the administrator ran up again and nervously demanded that we take our jackets off the chairs. This was not a polite request, this was a rude demand. The food is tasteless, and the juice is sour! I do not advise anyone to go here. And the dirty dishes were not cleaned up completely, although the waiter was walking nearby. I also ordered three separate dishes with rolls for three people! For some reason, they put everything on one plate. And how were we supposed to eat it? Three of us from one plate? They gave us two saucers for the sauce for three. I don't recommend going here.

We ordered the daily sushi special for pickup. The food was ready in less than 10 minutes. The service was also very friendly. The restaurant looks very inviting. We'll eat there next time. As for the sushi, it was some of the best you can get in Würzburg. Nothing more needs to be said.

We've become regular customers now. The Asian cuisine is simply delicious; when we're craving Szechuan or fried noodles, this is our first stop. Great value for money! The sushi is good, although there's still room for improvement.

The running sushi is great. You get a discount if you order a certain number of plates. It's delicious and everything is fresh. We were asked at intervals if we wanted anything else on our plates, and our requests were immediately accommodated. We were also asked if we wanted dessert. A super delicious and enjoyable dinner.

We ordered 2go and only realized when we got home that all the sushi we had, without exception, contained dark brown/almost black avocado pieces. Putting it out there says a lot and unfortunately the sushi wouldn't have been really good even without this fact. There are much better stores in Würzburg. It's relatively cheap, but if you throw half of it away it's rather expensive... I wouldn't go there again.

The best sushi shop in Würzburg. Taste great (also the fried noodles and rice), service very attentive, value for money great. Recently there have been more and more Vietnamese dishes. The highlight is the running sushi on small ships at the counter.

The food was good overall, and the service from our waitress was excellent. What I enjoyed the most was the dessert: the sesame balls were absolutely delicious! A sweet and satisfying end to the meal.

Rarely have I seen such a good shop, it tastes really delicious, but the space is a bit too narrow, which has the disadvantage that the tables are placed too close together and this seemed a bit cramped to me, but otherwise I would highly recommend this shop and the fried sushi would definitely be there too

Good and tasty food good value for money

What happened to Sumo Sushi? We've always been excited for years, but today... Poor quality of fish (also smelled funny). The rice was nothing either. Service was tried, but unfortunately completely incompetent. The restaurant was also empty (usually always full). I can only explain this with a change of operator. It's a shame... that's it for us with one of our long-time favorite sushi restaurants.

Unfortunately no longer recommended We have enjoyed going to Sumo for years and have expressly recommended the restaurant several times. Unfortunately, we can no longer do this in good conscience as the following points have taken a turn for the worse: • Rising prices for smaller portions: The nigiri have become at least 1/3 smaller and the maki rolls are smaller than the discount sushi that calls itself sushi. • Negligent service: In the past, guests were served quickly, attentively and in a friendly manner. Now the reserved table is not free when you arrive and you are instructed to wait. We waited 15 minutes for a table to be vacated, where the guests had already paid and emptied their drinks when we arrived. The staff didn't feel the need to inform guests about our reservation. Even when we said after 15 minutes that we weren't waiting any longer and were leaving, the waiter just made a face and pointed out that other tables would probably pay soon too. We find it very unfortunate that Sumo has developed this way and will now try other sushi restaurants in Würzburg.

Both privately and with the company, we like to eat here or order and enjoy at home or in the office. Highly recommended!

Very clean and cozy Asian restaurant. I especially know sushi very well and really enjoy eating it in this restaurant. It has never disappointed me and I think the price is still right at the moment - I hope it stays that way. The service is professional and very friendly. All in all, this is my favorite sushi restaurant in Würzburg. Because the price-performance is right, because the quality is right, because the service is great and because fresh, high-quality ingredients are used. I feel completely comfortable here.

Sushi was delicious (7.5/10). Staff nice and restaurant nicely decorated. A very solid shop, Definitely worth it.

It's been a while since I've ordered from Sumo again, but unfortunately I was disappointed and ripped off. The disappointment: the food we ordered (squid with vegetables in red curry sauce) couldn't have been waterier, the fried noodles were just ok. Just to kid you, we ordered a seaweed salad as a side dish and were really happy at the beginning because the cup was full. After two forkfuls each of us, the salad was empty and underneath there was simple green lettuce as filling material... It's a shame, we remembered the store much better!

Ordered through Wolt and received an incorrect delivery. After I complained about it, the missing menu was added very quickly and easily. Generally very fast delivery and delicious food!

We have been to this restaurant few times. Personally, I like Tom Yum soup. The sushi is ordinary, nothing special. I also liked Aperol. The staff is friendly and attentive. There are a lot of people at lunchtime, which means that the place is popular. But the interior and furniture are really outdated, there is no feeling of cleanliness

We have been going to Sumo Sushi for many years and have tried many different dishes. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating, no matter how hectic and busy the store is. The food is prepared quickly and freshly, we never had to wait long. In addition, the very good quality has been consistently excellent over the years (more than 10), something very few can achieve. We have often sent family, friends and acquaintances there; they are just as enthusiastic as we are. There is the option to help yourself to the running sushi at the bar or to order all the dishes from the menu if there is no table available. By the way, we don't tolerate flavor enhancers and we've never had any complaints after eating here. Thank you for the always delicious food and always a very friendly and warm welcome.

Our favorite sushi restaurant in Würzburg. We love being here and especially enjoy eating “swimming sushi”. If you have a specific request, it will be addressed.

I ordered a can of Coca-Cola with a deposit, but strangely received a glass of Coke that was only a third full and completely non-carbonated! It tastes really bad and I don't know what that is about! Also, the picture showed three mochi with garnishes for the dessert, but I only received one very small mochi. However, the main course was very tasty and excellent. With all due respect, I won't be ordering here again.
