The food was good and the service ok. The sushi is really good. Unfortunately the fried dishes are lukewarm to cold... In the evening it is sometimes very crowded and you can't really have a conversation because it is very loud. But the visit is recommended.

We were there spontaneously today and were thrilled. The lunch menu was very tasty, reasonably priced and very freshly cooked. Clear recommendation!

We had dinner at Sumino as a family this evening. The food was delicious, the portion sizes were reasonable and the price was absolutely fair. Everything arrived quickly, but unfortunately our children had to wait a little long for their food. We adults had already eaten almost everything before the children's meal arrived. Next time please bring the children's meals first, we adults can wait even earlier. Otherwise very satisfied.

There were 4 of us there. I simply reserved via the website. We had ramen, which was very tasty and the non-alcoholic cocktails were good too. Unfortunately there wasn't a large selection on the dessert menu, but I'd still go again.

Mmm, we eat here often, but on Friday evenings you can probably forget about it. Got a table at around 8:10 p.m., didn't even get the card at 8:30 p.m. I noticed a bad mood among the other guests and then preferred to leave before ordering and having to wait.

What a catastrophe we have experienced! Incredible! We've waited forever for everything! 30 minutes until someone came to take drinks! Then wrote down the food, waited another half hour until someone picked up the food. Then we waited for more than an hour until we got the food to the table. Absolutely terrible service! The food tasted good, but the long wait left us totally annoyed and just wanted to leave! Really very very bad. So this is not a professional restaurant! Giving one star is already too much!!! We were there at 7:30 p.m. and ordered a starter and main course. The starter went relatively quickly until it arrived, we had to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes for our main course, then my wife also forgot a main course... NOT WORKING AT ALL! So my wife canceled her meal and then paid for it and we left and will definitely never come back! What an impudence! You want to enjoy the evening with your family and nothing was just stress and annoyance! Never thank you again and thank you for nothing! I've never experienced anything like that!

The food was top, the atmosphere was very nice, the staff was very friendly and attentive. The two of us were there during the week and it was very pleasant. The food came to the table quickly and beautifully prepared. We would love to come back and we can only recommend it.

Very good lunch for a fair price! In the evening, some dishes are completely overpriced and not particularly convincing (curry, duck, noodles). However, the sushi is quite good and also reasonably priced. We often get sushi here in the evenings and are always satisfied. The tuna quality is so-so but unfortunately that is standard in Stuttgart and the surrounding area. Here you would have to eat higher-priced sushi

Presentation 5 stars We wanted to try a new restaurant again and were a little "warned" by the 1-star reviews. The restaurant makes a pleasant impression, but is very open, reminiscent of an open-plan office. Ok, a very stylishly furnished open-plan office. The decor is undoubtedly very stylish, but the details could be improved. All the lamps above the tables have been repaired with scotch tape because they are obviously falling apart. But everything is clean and tidy. The pieces of paper on the table with which you have to "order yourself" are unusual, but actually quite practical, you can put together your selection in peace and don't have to be rushed by a waiter. If you need 5 minutes longer to decide, it won't bother anyone. The service was consistently friendly and pleasant, although the employees always held back. It would be desirable if it were possible to order or pay for something after your meal without having to actively make your presence known. The tables are not cleared "automatically" after the meal, I don't know if that is considered rude because the restaurant doesn't want to give the impression that you should please leave now, but it is unusual to have to ask. This is an unusual situation, the entire staff was always very friendly. As with many Asians, there is only one employee who collects cash, which clashes somewhat with the original Germans, who have separate numbers from larger groups who first have to discuss who had what... Most importantly, the food. That was good, we had sushi and salads. Everything was very nicely prepared and delicious. People asked if the sushis could be put together and the final presentation just looks great :) We've had better sushi, but (unfortunately) we've also often had worse. There is very little to complain about here and the final star is and remains a matter of taste.

The food is really great, you get full and feel full in a healthy way, everything is fresh, Air conditioning would be worth considering as it gets a bit too stuffy in the Dommer, but overall it's a great restaurant, the floating noodles are a hit

What does a rubber band have to do with a restaurant? Nothing at all, but that's exactly what we had on our first (and therefore last) visit to Sumino. The nice thing about the restaurant is its size. It does have a bit of a canteen feeling because there are a lot of seats, but the atmosphere is more of a classic restaurant. With us - there were four of us - there were around 15-20 guests present, so we assumed that the order would be quick. However, this turned out to be a prejudice. Ordering the drinks went smoothly, but ordering the food was more of a challenge because it wasn't entirely clear how the ordering process actually works. - Instead of ordering directly from the waitress, the orders are written down on pieces of paper on the table and then passed on to the waitress, similar to the ordering process for classic sushi. - The drinks came after just under 15 minutes, but we had to wait another 50 minutes for the food. Since the restaurant has space for around 150 people, we don't even want to imagine how long the ordering process will take if the restaurant is fully booked. As for the food itself - we ordered Pho, Flying Noodles and mixed vegetables with tofu, unfortunately we can only say that the quality was average and that the Flying Noodles had the rubber band mentioned at the beginning in the food. Finally, the price range remains to be mentioned, which is unfortunately far higher than typical prices. Therefore, unfortunately, our last visit there.

Time is not an issue in this restaurant. After 1.5 hours our food was placed on the still dirty table. Nothing was cleaned after repeated requests. You are ignored, no one asks if you would like something more to drink. Things weren't going any better at the neighboring tables either. In addition, complaints are not taken seriously. This is not how you treat your guests. Unfortunately I can only give one star for the food because my vegetarian order was mixed up with the fish dish on a plate. We left the restaurant without eating anything. We definitely won't visit this restaurant again.

Most unfriendly restaurant owner. I sat down and ordered my drink and received it. As I was about to order the food, the owner came to me and asked me to sit at another table. The reason he gave was that he couldn't see me properly and I should go to a table where he could see me better. I replied that I would be happy to do that next time, but for now I would like to sit here and enjoy my food. He then made it clear in a loud voice that if He says I have to get up and sit somewhere else, then I have to do it, He is the boss there. Then I got up and left. I will never visit or recommend this restaurant again.

This was my second time at Sumino because of training courses. It is a large, stylishly decorated restaurant and can accommodate around 100 guests. The waitresses are friendly and attentive. have pictures

Never again! We were “eating” there this evening, our order was taken, drinks arrived straight away; We waited over an hour for our food before we asked when our food would arrive. The very best thing then came: “ohh they would have lost the order slip and forgotten about us”. Seriously?!!! Nobody even came and asked if everything was ok, so we left because we were hungry and wanted to eat something, the staff didn't apologize and we had to pay for the drinks despite this embarrassment! That would probably have been the least to not have to pay! If you are hungry and expect good service, choose another restaurant!

It took an incredibly long time until we got the drinks. We also had to ask twice about the food before it came. Sometimes only lukewarm. Price/performance wasn't right for us here. The ordering process is also quite unusual and difficult to understand. The order forms should be designed to be “simpler”.

Went to the restaurant for the 3rd or 4th time yesterday. What happened to the store? Not recommendable. We wanted to celebrate our son's high school diploma, but due to the non-existent, poor service we couldn't get more than a drink. After we had our food, no one cared about how we were doing. So we sat there with empty plates and platters without drinks until we had to take care of the bill ourselves. So: disaster! The Yoake in Ludwigsburg can do MUCH better!

We had lunch here at lunchtime. There wasn't much going on. The selection is extensive and there is an enjoyable meal available for everyone, see for yourself.

It's a shame if a starter is served after the main course of the accompaniment. The food is of good quality.

Unfortunately, the restaurant and the service are completely overwhelmed. Far too many places for too few staff. 30 minutes waiting time for the drinks to arrive, even when reordered, over 2 hours waiting time for the food. The starters were still quite good. The main course, however, was rather bland and it was only possible to eat separately because everyone at the table received different food. I really advise against this and can only ask the restaurant to question itself. This has nothing to do with customer service.

Varied Asian cuisine at a very high level, especially the sushi selection and the absolutely fresh fish make the visit a pleasure. Staff is clearly overwhelmed. Staff can't speak comprehensible German… We made a reservation at 7 p.m. You write the order on a piece of paper and hope that it will be picked up by the staff... Food came slowly and gradually, at 8:30 p.m. the first meal (of 12 dishes) came, the last one came at 9 p.m.... when we asked the answer was “something is still missing”… you couldn’t eat together as a group. The sushi is brought on one plate even though you sit at two ends of a table. This only became apparent when we asked where the rest of the sushi was... Sushi isn't the "best" either, it was a bit salty... Surf & Turf wasn't like that either... The ambience is really great! Nice new, fits the style. But the waiting times are catastrophic!!!! Hunger is gone.

The food was actually really good, but the first person in our group of five only got the food after asking again and after a little more than 70 minutes. When he was finished after 20 minutes, the last meal came - unfortunately cold. We also waited a good half hour for the bill. Probably won't go here again...

Even one star is too much for that. We wanted to order with pickup, we weren't even allowed to say the word because we were immediately told that they had no capacity, we even offered that we would wait longer and then they simply hung up on us. It's a shame, I won't leave any more money there 😊

Service very very bad and uncoordinated.

Unfortunately there is no service that takes orders. However, the super delicious food puts this point in the background. I would definitely recommend!!!

A nice, clean atmosphere, with enough space to sit and walk. Arrived at 8:00 p.m. (with a reservation) no one came to show us to our seat. After requesting (!!!), we were only allowed to order at 8:45 p.m. We even had to specifically ask to order drinks because other guests were complaining about longer waiting times. Cutlery and glasses only came upon request. The food took a long time to arrive, but it was tasty and the portion was sufficient. Unfortunately there wasn't enough for a long-awaited dessert as there was no staff anywhere to be seen and we couldn't place an order. We even gave notice 3(!!!) times to pay our bill. However, there was no time for our vegan friend to make an adequate recommendation. Satisfaction was therefore limited. Conclusion: There was no reason for me to tip and no need to repeat.

The ambience was very nice, it's quite an experience when you enter the dining room for the first time. It was a shame that there was so much noise, there were four of us and it was quite difficult to have a normal conversation. The food was visually beautifully presented, but unfortunately the tuna we ordered was far too dry. The cleanliness in the toilets could be significantly improved.

The eye eats with... It is a very nicely decorated restaurant. Not too bright and not too darkly lit. Reservations are definitely recommended here. I don't want to say anything, but you'll never see ME here again. I would like to be able to rate the food sustainably, but I would have had to be served some. After waiting a total of *1.5 hours* and asking THREE TIMES, I didn't get my order served. This meant that we simply paid and left the establishment in a hurry. That's the bottom drawer. According to her, my partner's sushi was quite good. The restaurant is stylishly furnished, although our table for two was moved a whopping 30cm away from a family table. So basically we were at the table. How romantic. Oh, and if you want to drink virgin cocktails, you'll pay €7.90 for something that tastes like it could give you new types of diabetes. I would avoid the store more strictly than Fukushima.

Large selection of Asian dishes. Restaurant is decorated in Asian style. The noodles were served with lettuce and fried onions. For my taste it has nothing to do with Asian food. Hardly any parking spaces at the restaurant.

The sushi tastes very, very tasty! My highlight was the flambéed scallop. Unfortunately we waited over an hour for our main course. The staff is friendly but difficult to understand. Ordered two cocktails “to-go” that tasted undrinkable. Probably a ready-made mix and the alcohol in it tasted like nail polish remover.

If you're thinking about eating here because the pictures look good: don't do it! Despite the numerous negative reviews, I decided to give the Sumino a chance. I would have let it go. The service is subpar and virtually non-existent. There is no coordination and structure here. They didn't manage to bring my partner and I food anywhere near the same time. Both the starter and the main course were brought so late that the other person had long since finished their meal. In addition, my sushi came with something completely different than what was ordered. I then had to wait some time for the repair and it was still wrong. The food looks good in pictures, but nothing more. Everything is of poor quality. The fried sushi from my wrong order tasted disgusting, so I could only eat two pieces of it. It tasted like the frying fat was ancient. The aftertaste almost made me vomit. And now I'm sitting at home with a stomach ache. I'm just glad I left most of the food. Being charged these huge sums for such an experience has put the crown on the spectacle. When paying, I was seriously supposed to pay the full price for the incorrect order, even though what I had actually ordered would have been much cheaper. If only I had listened to the reviews from the start. Then I would have been spared this experience.

Unfortunately, our visit was under criticism... there were two of us and the food came so late that my companion's food came 20 minutes after I was finished and only when asked (both for the starter and the main course ). Service is a disaster! No matter whether on site or on the phone! We wanted to order food to be picked up over the phone and we were treated so rudely on the phone! As soon as the word “food” was heard, all I got was a very unfriendly “no, we’re full!” and we simply hung up the phone! Thank you for the nice conversation, that's definitely how you treat customers! This isn't the first time something like this has happened. In any case, we'll never come back simply because you don't treat people like that!

We were there for the first time today. When we arrived, the Restaurant Max was 1/3 full, but we still waited about 30 minutes for the drinks after ordering. And the 30 minutes would have been longer if we hadn't asked after 25 minutes where the drinks were. Things continued like this at dinner. The starters came in dribs and drabs, so that some people already had their main course, while others didn't even get the starter. What I found most outrageous was that we were missing starters and main courses, where the table next door got their main courses even though people arrived 30 minutes after us. It doesn't work at all!! We had to ask about the orders 3 times and claim missing items. Nice restaurant and actually good food, some of it was oversalted, but with such weak and chaotic service, we honestly don't want to go there anymore. Very disappointing, sorry.

The reservation was confirmed online, a few hours later I received a call saying the confirmed reservation was revoked.

So you can forget about eating here on Saturday evenings. We made reservations at 7:30 p.m., now it's 9:30 p.m. and we still haven't gotten our sushi. Not recommendable. After asking several times, the service always just says sushi takes longer or they go ask the kitchen. However, there is never any result from the waitress. You really feel ripped off here. That was the last time here.

The restaurant is completely new and therefore beautiful. Unfortunately, the room itself is very loud when it is full and too warm for my taste. The food is first class and varied. Communication with the service staff is bumpy but manageable. The ordering process takes place via cards (to be filled out yourself).

Nice atmosphere, good food. Misunderstandings when placing orders can be avoided by filling out an “order form”. A good solution! The food is very tasty and unusual, e.g. the Flying Noodles. There is also a decent selection of good cocktails. Conclusion: we would love to come back!

Very tasty bento box with duck!

Wanted to make a reservation there. You were treated in the most unfriendly way on the phone. There would be no room, neither now nor later. I then discovered that the online reservation we had previously made had ended up in spam. So I took the trouble to ask why we had been rejected so aggressively on the phone when there were obviously still tables. Never got an answer. That leaves an impression. Just not a positive one.

The waitress made us wait a bit...not everyone was there. The food was great. Good value for money.

I came here on a Saturday night, and made sure to reserve in advance. The place is quite large and there are many personnel working, but it is a bit uncoordinated. Me and another person ordered Aperol Spritz, but it was only made with Aperol and mineral water — no prosecco. Afterwards, we ordered a bottle of wine. The first waitress repeated the order, but apparently did not understand as a second waitress came to ask again. We waited maybe 20 minutes at least for the wine, after asking a third time as 3 of the 4 people at the table were done with their meals. Food did not come out all at once. We received our appetizers whenever they were made. One person got their main dish before the appetizer. Another received their appetizer after everyone already started on their main dishes. Again, the coordination is a bit chaotic. Everyone in the service area looked to be of asian ethnicity. The vietnamese spring rolls tasted authentic. The cha la lot was also good, but I was missing the lemongrass flavor in the beef. The pho ga hanoi was good but the broth was so intense from the char on the beef being grilled prior, than just being thinly cut raw and submerged in the soup. The charred bits overpowered the soup broth flavor making it difficult to eat. The other dishes were ok, but definitely europeanized. Not sure if the owners are vietnamese or japanese, but I stuck to vietnamese dishes. The sushi looked ok, but assumed people ordered it more for the various displays as it came with dry ice. In general, I do not recommend coming here during the weekend at night. Perhaps during the day for the business lunch would be less chaotic, or during the week at night. I might come here again to try the Japanese dishes, to give a second opinion. I am also not sure if GEMA is paid as there was a small Sonos looking speaker on full volume in a champagne stand playing Spotify free (with advertisements) 😅 The music was pretty annoying - please either play music for the entire restaurant or do not. Having full volumed music on one side of the restaurant next to tables to reach the entire restaurant is not pleasant for the guests sitting next to the speaker.

On our first visit we were very impressed by the atmosphere. Looks really great. But yeah, that's about it... The service is quite slow and we were given the wrong sushi order. Not bad, we thought, and came a few days ago for the second and last time. The waitresses were very unfriendly and the food we ordered didn't look anything like what was on the menu! When I order a curry I don't want soup! There was just way too much sauce in the dish that all the vegetables and salad were completely drowned and no longer tasted good. Tuna was supposed to be medium rare and was dry. And all for the price... It's a shame, there are definitely better restaurants in the area that are worth the money.

Super Essen, freundlicher und kompetenter, wenn auch stellenweise langsamer Service, aber im Grunde genommen hat alles gepasst. Preis/Leistung ist ebenfalls in Ordnung!
