The restaurant is very good, but the service was very bad and the waitress was tactless when serving the food.

I never would have guessed there was such a good restaurant at Kiel train station. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend it. Everything was perfect. 👍👍👍

I used to love going there. Today we tried baklava, or rather, we didn't. It tasted really strange and stale, and the dough on top was hard and dry. When we tried to say something, they replied that no one else had complained and that it would be better if we didn't come back. What a shame...

The food hadn't even arrived yet, and the meat was very bloody and tough. I spoke to the employee and asked if he could perhaps grill it again for me. He told me, "Brother, it's not all like that, it's just one piece." I ordered lamb chops and am very disappointed. This isn't the first time this has happened to me, which is why I'm writing this review. I will never go there again.

The place actually has potential. What was a real shame was that the veal dürüm was ice cold. It's certainly edible, but the meat was dry and cold. Not good enough for €9.50. It's a shame, maybe better next time. The service was nice, and everyone was friendly.

The food is very good, just something different from the dreary everyday routine. A grilled platter for two is a generous portion. Meat, vegetables, and rice in a perfect ratio. If you're looking for something "different" from Chinese, Greek, or steakhouse food, you should stop by here. With so many people coming and going, the service is busy and always attentive. As a guest, you shouldn't be too sensitive about the noise and hustle and bustle. Otherwise, it's a little culinary excursion.

Originally, it was undoubtedly one of the best Turkish restaurants in Kiel, and despite being located in the main train station, it's as cozy as can be. Very friendly staff who work quickly and keep an eye on everything. We always enjoy coming here to enjoy good Turkish cuisine, but the food used to be even better, so unfortunately, it's a bit of a downgrade.

Good, solid kebab – really top-notch for Kiel! The homemade bread was super fresh and delicious. One small downside: the sauce wasn't evenly distributed throughout the bread, but simply poured on top. As a result, there was a lot of sauce at the beginning, but none at all at the end. Otherwise, everything was really good – I would definitely go back!

We stopped by for dinner spontaneously and were not disappointed. Fast, friendly service. The ambiance was nice, but with a typically noisy train station atmosphere. The food was delicious, too.

Really good food! I’ve eaten here a couple of times while traveling between Hamburg airport and Kiel, and now I even plan my trips to include an hour break just to enjoy a proper, authentic, yummy meal. The atmosphere is OK – it really feels like being in Turkey or somewhere - which I guess is the point.:) My only complaint is that most of the waiters and waitresses seem quite bored. Smiles are in low stock.

I've often had lunch at your restaurant because I work nearby. But last time, the chicken in the box was badly burnt. This isn't the first time: I kept quiet the previous time because things like this can happen. But if it happens regularly, I don't want to constantly eat burnt meat. Therefore, I won't come again and can't recommend your restaurant. Another thing that surprised and bothered me was the behavior of one of the employees. He repeatedly corrected me on how I pronounce numbers in German. Sorry, but I come to you to buy food, not to take a German course. Unfortunately, I don't know his name (it was a tall man; I think he had a tattoo), but I find this behavior towards customers rude and inappropriate.

The food is very bad, tastes horrible, is old and, above all, overpriced. Preferably 0 stars. We had to pay 11 euros for a kebab where the sauce should have been packaged separately. 1 kebab for 11 euros is extremely expensive. According to the advertisement, a kebab should actually cost 7.50 but oh well. The staff are also very unfriendly and greet you with a really bad mood and just yell at you. Delicious food! Prices are on the higher end for a kebab. Always busy, so there's often no room. The location in the main train station isn't exactly a flagship, but it's always easily accessible.

I didn't have 50 grams of meat in my Dürüm today. It's basically a veggie! You're just served without any love. And it's not particularly tasty either.

Here they live by the motto that the passers-by will take care of it. The kebab was very small and compared to the competitors it was more like a meat slice, but the taste was okay.

I recently had breakfast at Sultan's, and the service was so great. We were served personally by the chef, who helped us choose our food and gave us such good advice. The food itself was also excellent. The ambiance was lovely. There was light music playing in the background. The chef came to our table two or three times and checked to make sure everything was okay. We are very satisfied and would come back again.

Very unfriendly service, overpriced, the kebab was half full, there was hardly any salad, hardly any meat. The bread in the basket was at least from the day before, no sauce, nothing with it. A 0.7L bottle of water costs €6. It's a shame, the skewer looked promising, but it's no good if you only get old meat and not much of it.

I was there for the first time today, and it was simply fantastic. The ambiance is oriental, and you feel like you're transported to another place. I really liked it. After being unable to decide, I was recommended the lamb chop, so I ordered it. First came a small salad, which was okay but rather standard, along with homemade flatbread, ezme, and garlic yogurt. The garlic yogurt could have tasted more garlicky, but it was fine. Now I come to the ezme; it was a highlight for me, and I craved more when the plate was empty. Then came the next highlight for me. Until then, I had only associated lamb with a revolting taste. But here I was surprised. It was tender, flavorful, and so much more. To finish, I treated myself to Turkish yoghurt. The perfect end to this meal. I give it 5 out of 5.

The food itself tastes good, but the portions are tiny. What they call a dürüm feels more like a spring roll than a real dürüm. I think it's a shame they cut costs so much there. The service, however, is very friendly.

Very tasty and hearty food. We ordered a plate for each person but couldn't finish it. The place is nice and well-decorated.

My husband and our two children had a very good breakfast; we were satisfied and can recommend it.

This restaurant used to be much better. I've been there a few times, but this time the quality was significantly worse. For example, I ordered a doner kebab with salad, but it was almost all salad and hardly any doner kebab at all—ten percent at most. When I complained and said they should call it "salad with doner" because there was so little meat in it, I unfortunately didn't get a satisfactory answer.

The waiters were very bad, they acted like they were on a mountain, they put their hands in the glasses and addressed the customers as "you". It was a place I used to go to all the time, but it was my last time. I think it would be good if the employer would pay a little more attention to his business.

Good vegetarian lahmacun with spinach and hummus. Better than the usual kebab place, although the dough wasn't exactly fresh on a Sunday evening, but still delicious overall! Good value for €5.

I went there for dinner today. The portion was too large, and I wanted to have it wrapped up and eat it later at home. At the checkout, I asked the young employee to wrap the food. I was given a to-go box and had to pack my own food. I've never seen anything like it in a restaurant before; the employee was very unfriendly. I'll have someone else serve me in the future.

We had Döner Teller. It was delicious, but we found the quantity to be a bit small. It could be increased. They might have forgotten to put meat in the lahmacun. 🙃It would have been more appropriate to play sophisticated music that suits the concept instead of the radio.

I've eaten here several times, both to-go and in the restaurant, and I'll allow myself the following review: The food components taste pretty good on their own - especially the slightly crispier chicken is a green flag - and the shop is chic. I have to deduct one star for the following reasons: There is massive potential for improvement with the sauce: With doner kebabs and doner kebab boxes, I've always experienced blobs of sauce on top. That's not acceptable. With a doner kebab, you have to spread the sauce on top and bottom of the bread, otherwise you'll have no sauce left after the first few bites! Likewise with the doner kebab box, you have to put sauce once in the middle and once on top, otherwise you'll have nothing left at the bottom! And once the coleslaw was terribly over-salted and I feel like the only response I got when I asked about it was "ok 😐".

The quality of the food was generally quite good, but the meat (grilled plate) was way overcooked, and the waitress was incredibly stressed, although very friendly and accommodating, but overwhelmed. Accordingly, the drink I ordered never arrived. Asking three times within the first five minutes of sitting down whether you've decided seems, well... a bit tense and gives the customer the impression that you're trying to get rid of them as quickly as possible. A little more calm and thus a better eye for detail would do both customers and employees good. I can still recommend you, but slow down a bit. Best regards

Here, they're clearly cutting corners again...and that's on the meat! If I want to order a vegetarian Dürum, I'll order one. Brief summary: I was here two years ago and tried a Dürum. I noticed there was very little meat in it. Today, I took a closer look and noticed the same thing. Only this time, I asked the colleague at the to-go bar if he could add more meat... Answer: Brother is normal Never again!

I was about to leave a nice comment when I asked the guy at the cash register a question and he almost attacked me by saying "Is this place changed?" He said, "I always go to this place, the food is much more delicious than before." He didn't swear at me but it's obvious that all the employees have changed. Still, 5 stars for the employees. It would be good if the guy working at the cash register would clean up his clothes a little.

The chicken was fresh and delicious, as was the bread. The waitress came by frequently to ask if everything was okay. We ate there when it wasn't quite as busy and therefore not as loud. The interior is nicely decorated.

Their food is very delicious and the portion sizes are excellent.

We were deceived by the high ratings of this restaurant and sat down. We had the worst lahmacun we've had in a long time. The dough was so thick, they practically didn't include any meat. The kebabs were dry and overcooked. It was a huge regret for us.

The food was a complete disaster. The pide was not freshly made and had been reheated in the oven for the second time. The cheese was dried out, and the pide was rock hard. We ordered lamb skewers from the grill, but chicken skewers arrived. The ambiance was good, and the service was okay.

The meat was too dry and the fries were soggy. I've eaten here many times and it was okay. Unfortunately, today was disappointing! Tattered seats

Best Kebab of Kiel. We come here every saturday and it never disappoints, good variety and quality is very high, authentic turkish food and staff. maybe some waiters could be a bit more polite and smile and service overall could improve but I understand we’re in north europe and so everyone is a bit more cold.

Be careful when paying. I paid with a card. The clerk said the card had been declined. But I was sure it showed "approved" and told him so. Oh well, he'll know better. So I had the card read again. Of course, I was charged twice. This is a real rip-off! He probably thought I was just a tourist during Kiel Week, so he could get away with it. I'll never eat there again and can't recommend it at all!

Last week, I tried the Ali Nazik dish here, which is one of the more expensive items on the menu. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed: The meat was streaked with tendons and fat. Especially with a dish like this, you expect tender, high-quality lamb—here, it seemed more like leftovers from lesser cuts. The yogurt and eggplant puree was okay, but it couldn't save the whole thing. I didn't finish the meal; I felt downright sick afterward. Definitely not worth the price.

Fast-food restaurant in the main train station If you have some time, you should go inside and eat in peace. The service is fast, but the downside is that the food is already prepared. Less than two minutes passed between ordering and delivery. It's much better than standing in line with walk-up customers. The food we ordered was delicious, and special requests were accommodated.

Wonderful food. It immediately reminded me of my baba and the delicious food at home. We felt wonderfully comfortable. The portions were huge for the price and also incredibly tasty (the rice was simply amazing). In addition to the main courses, bread and sauces were served free of charge. I ate at Sultans in Kiel with friends – each of us had a plate with rice, meat, and salad. Unfortunately, the dining experience was rather disappointing: The meat was raw in places and full of gristle, which made the meal less than enjoyable. I also found a hair in my salad and – as if that weren't enough – a piece of plastic. When I asked the staff about it, all I got was that "these things can happen" and that the plastic was probably from the salad wrapper. No apology, no accommodation – just a shrug. It's a shame, because the concept sounded promising. Instead of a relaxed meal, I ended up with an unwanted round of "find the foreign object." Those looking for culinary surprises might find something here – but personally, I prefer my food without side dishes from the hair salon.

I ate a dürüm, and it was a disaster. I didn't like it at all. As soon as I started eating, everything on the side ripped open because the dürüm was FULL of sauce. You can see the disgusting meat in the video. I've eaten much better kebabs than this. Definitely not again for those prices!

Everyone has a bad day, and it seems that people at Sultans always do. All good things come in threes. Once again today, very disappointed. A Dürüm for €9, as small as a wrap, just as thin and quite cold to boot. The portion of fries was super light and cold and not at all crispy, and there was a teaspoon full of mayo on the side. Third time there, third time really disappointed. The normal snack bar around the corner or any other in the city centre is worlds better, cheaper and tastier. There won't be a fourth time. The little money is just too hard earned. From the outside it makes a good, classy impression but that's about it.

It's perfectly normal for a waiter to tell you to sit next to the restroom door and place your table 30 cm away. He says that's perfectly normal. The complaint has now been filed with the Ministry of Health, so we'll see if that's normal. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
