I can't think of anything that could be improved. Friendly service, super freshly prepared and really delicious. I don't think there's a better place in all of Kiel.

Absolutely fantastic steak! We came to Kiel from Wiesbaden for a training course, and after watching Abu Goku's videos, we chose this restaurant. The staff were friendly, and the food was delicious.

Unfortunately, only 3 stars for the "Steak Doner"... which, in my opinion, doesn't deserve this title, let alone the price. The meat doesn't have a strong flavor, and even freshly cut, it wasn't really hot. Other places can do just as well with their "regular" doner kebabs, and for less. What saves the doner are the exceptionally large, crispy bread, the sauces, and the sumac and lime topping.

Solid döner kebab – especially the yaprak (a type of cured pork) in sesame bread with the special salad (finely chopped parsley with onions), sumac spice, and lemon. There could have been a bit more sauce, but the focus is on the meat. The bread was a little too toasted and very crispy. Overall, the döner was really good and I recommend it.

Yaprak Döner, both the chicken döner and the other varieties, taste exactly like they're homemade – simply top-notch, keep it up! I do have one request: I'd like to see larger portions offered as an option. I'd gladly pay more.

I've eaten here several times in the last few weeks, and each time I've ordered a jumbo doner kebab and a regular steak doner kebab. I weighed both doners at home the last few times, and they weighed exactly the same each time. That means you pay for a jumbo, but only get a regular one. The food is really delicious, no question. But this is simply unacceptable. If you pay more, you expect to get more. Anything else is unfair to the customers.

Last week, I saw a report on Spiegel TV in which Kiel-based YouTuber Abugoku did a kebab test. He tried the Döner Spezial, and it really piqued our interest. So, we came with the kids today to see if Baba "lives up to its promises." The conclusion: it does! It was a damn delicious kebab! We had the Döner Spezial with steak. Really tasty lean meat, the bread was crispy and fluffy, the tomatoes were tomatoey and not at all watery, and the sumac was incredibly delicious. The parsley and lemon on the side were absolutely delicious! It was definitely worth it, and we'll be driving to the other side of Kiel for food more often!

Super friendly staff. (I even gave my girlfriend a generous sample of steak meat because she's always very picky about the meat in her kebab. She loved it!!) Keep up the good work! We were on a motorcycle tour here from Hamburg. We quickly googled where to find the best kebab in town. What can I say? These guys didn't disappoint! Homemade bread, crisp salad, yaprak meat, delicious sauces – everything was perfect. We'll be back next time!

For me, instead of baba kebab, I'll have baba yarak next time. This was a terrible culinary experience, and even the gelled side parting of the young man behind the counter didn't help. The ambiance was heavily dependent on the taste experience, which is irrelevant given the pervasive discomfort and nausea. All in all, it missed the mark. Tzatziki sauce borders on treason.

And again, without any complaints, it was very, very tasty and the staff was super friendly. Great for eating in, with the crispy flatbread, or to take away, ideally as a Dürüm. Wow, this steak doner was simply amazing! The sauce was perfectly creamy and the meat was beautifully tender. You can really tell the ingredients are fresh. It's just a shame that parking is really difficult there. It took ages to find a spot.

After a long search, I found the best kebab in Schleswig-Holstein! Super tasty steak, perfectly seasoned and grilled. Especially the "Döner special" comes with freshly chopped parsley, tomatoes, and onions, sumac (sumac spice), and lemon juice in the kebab. The bread is also delicious and served nice and crispy. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth a visit.

For me this is definitely the best kebab in Kiel. I have to revise my opinion: unfortunately my second visit was disappointing. Compared to the first visit, where I had a Yaprak kebab that completely impressed me, this time I got a minced meat kebab that was rather mediocre. In my opinion, switching from Yaprak to Hack is a clear downgrade.
