Quick and friendly service, I was there on a quiet evening. Nice outside area to dine, great traditional Turkish dishes. The host and server were very welcoming! Close to city center and central station, recommend!

The evening here at Sultan Saray was truly impressive! The service was very friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was lovingly decorated. I ordered a grilled platter with various types of meat. Every piece was cooked to perfection. Top notch.

Very disappointed!!! Food was very bad, yogurt they served was sour, thought it was broken. At the end we ordered three milk rice as dessert, none of us could finish it because it was at least 4-5 days old. Had very fixed costs. Not to mention old, dilapidated walls and furniture. Never again. And I will also keep my friends and acquaintances away.

More of a “Germanized” restaurant instead of classic Turkish cuisine. The Adana is more like a meatball, which is well seasoned but has nothing to do with it. And if in a Beyti Kebab, without mentioning this on the menu, cheese is added to a dish that normally only promises yoghurt and tomato sauce and you almost puke, you're completely screwed! NEVER KEEP YOUR FINGER AWAY AGAIN.

The waitress Ayse (Sunday evening) was super friendly and particularly attentive, in general you have to say that both waitresses ran the place very hard and were always in a friendly mood. I was at the Sultan Saray in Stuttgart today and I was absolutely thrilled! The atmosphere was very inviting, and the food was simply delicious – from the appetizer to the dessert, everything tasted perfect. I would especially like to mention the waitress Ayşe, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. She made us feel completely at home. Thank you so much for this wonderful evening! We will definitely be back!

Had dinner with a group. We ordered starters and main courses. Unfortunately, the dishes all came at once, instead of, as you would expect, first the starter and then, when you were finished, the main course. But the worst thing was, a waitress petted a guest's dog and then didn't pet her hands but continued serving. The food tasted okay, I know it to be much tastier, but so far I've only been to a Sultan Saray in Stuttgart Mitte and it was better there. And it's a shame that you can only pay in cash, for whatever reason.

We had reserved today with a larger group. Everyone ordered starters and main courses. The food came very quickly but it all came at once. Not the starters first as usual. We barely had space to fit everything on the tables. Someone in our group then asked that the main course be served after their starter, otherwise everything would get cold. This was then permitted with a sullen look. But she wasn't brought after she had finished the starter. After a while she asked and ordered the main course and asked if it had already been prepared. This was denied or they wanted to inquire in the kitchen. There was no answer. Overall it was a very dry affair; you could only order drinks again if you asked. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired in all respects. The main problem, however, was that the main meal that was not made and then canceled had to be paid for; after payment, it was then prepared and taken home. We probably won't come here anymore, too many things just didn't go right.

Good welcome, atmosphere and fabulous decoration. We find ourselves immersed in the era of the Sultans. We had the privilege of being installed in the small living room. The dishes are plentiful and delicious. Low prices. An experience not to be missed.

I had the pleasure of dining at Sultan Saray and it was an exceptional experience! From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted by Mary and shown to our table. The service was impeccable – attentive, friendly and professional. The ambience of the restaurant is simply enchanting. The decor is stylish and cozy, creating a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The food was absolutely outstanding. Each course was a culinary masterpiece, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. I would particularly like to highlight the meal of the day, which was simply heavenly. The wine selection is also impressive and rounds off the taste experience perfectly. Overall, our visit to Sultan Saray was an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for excellent cuisine and first class service. Yesterday we went to Sultan Saray on Filderstrasse for the first time. Very pleasant atmosphere, quiet and cozy, you can chat. The service was super nice and tried hard without being intrusive. The starter was very tasty, nicely presented, the side salad was really good and very well portioned. The main course was also highly recommended. We had a meat dish and a vegetarian dish. Absolutely very tasty. Since we come from out of town, we will definitely like to visit the restaurant on Filderstrasse when we come back to Stuttgart.

The food is exceptional. We had Aubergine with lamb, lamb with paprika sauce, lamb with Aubergine puree, beef wrap, chicken tontopf, and fried aubergines in garlic sauce. If I lived here, I would come here at least once a month.

Went there for dinner with the family today. And I have to say all expectations were exceeded. First of all, the service was top, super friendly and very fast. Thanks to the lady who welcomed us and served us in a very friendly manner. You rarely see such work ethic these days. The food was also first class, you could really feel the quality and freshness of the ingredients. Ambiance for a Turkish restaurant takes some getting used to but still cozy and nice. Nice Turkish restaurant on the corner

We love the restaurant's food and often order for pickup. Unfortunately, we have been there twice in the evening and found one of the two waitresses incredibly unfriendly, essentially turning us away from her area of ​​responsibility twice and saying that the table had just been reserved, even though we had already reserved it a day in advance. It was obvious that she didn't want us on her side. Unfortunately we won't be going there anymore.

The restaurant is very stylishly furnished inside... there are also cozy places outside, and when the weather is good it's just TOP. The place was very clean. The food tasted good.. had an Adana Kebap. To be honest, I missed onions and yoghurt/tzatziki with Adana... (I think everyone would be happy about it). The staff was very friendly. Prices were okay. But it would be nice if EC card payment were possible, it's 2024 -> Greetings to the shop owner

The food was very good It was nice and warm outside and pleasant because it is on a side street and therefore there is little traffic. The prices are acceptable, even rather cheap.

The Sultan Saray is an original Turkish restaurant in the south of Stuttgart. The authentic cuisine lets you travel to the Orient in your mind. Highly recommended is the starter plate, on which a variety of the restaurant's starters are served with delicious flatbread. The service is excellent, the food is very quick and the slightly darker lighting creates a homely atmosphere. The prices are rather reasonable for the food on offer and the location, but the culinary experience is of a very high standard I would recommend making a reservation well in advance.

They don't care about customers, not even one star is too much

I recently visited the Sultan Saray restaurant and unfortunately I have to say that overall my visit was disappointing. The food was mediocre at best. The dishes had little taste and were carelessly prepared. For the prices the restaurant charges, I expected much more. Another big drawback was the service. We had to wait far too long for our orders. When the food finally came, it was only lukewarm. The staff seemed overwhelmed and not attentive. A particularly annoying aspect is that the restaurant blocks six resident parking spaces. These are filled with clunky steel structures filled with gravel stones, which are obviously not approved by the city. It would make sense to remove these structures, especially in the winter months when no outdoor tables are set up anyway. Unfortunately, they remain standing all year round and cause unnecessary trouble for local residents. All in all, I unfortunately cannot recommend “Sultan Saray”. There are many other restaurants/cafes in the area that offer better service and tastier food without affecting residents' parking options.

The food was a total catastrophe - unfortunately the starter plate was completely unsatisfactory and heartlessly prepared. The Adana skewer was a frozen meat skewer that was just fried in a pan. Unfortunately, the inside of the meat was still completely red, cold and tasteless. The rice was stale and the “side vegetables” were just frozen butter vegetables. The Tavus Sis was just a chicken breast that had been sliced ​​and fried until rock hard. Unfortunately the consistency is totally rubbery. All in one very bad food and pub atmosphere. Even though the entire store was empty, you had to wait a long time for your food. No recommendation !!

J’ai été dans le restaurant dans le centre de Stuttgart (Lautenschlagerstraße). Jolie terrasse couverte, belle carte diversifiée. Ne surtout pas louper le café turc en fin de repas ainsi que la légendaire Künefeh. Service accueillant et sympathique.

The bread leaves something to be desired. It was old flatbread, it hadn't even been completely thawed, probably in the microwave quickly and still cold and hard. Telke salad was good. I didn't have any wow factor when it came to the grill plate. Meat quality was passable.

The food tastes good, compared to the other Turkish restaurants in STGT, there is someone who can cook well behind the stove here. We went to iftar and unfortunately there is no iftar menu but soup and hurma are available. During Ramadan there was a long wait for the main course (but the shop was full). If you want an alcohol-free restaurant, you're unfortunately in the wrong place. There is no prayer room, which in my opinion should be standard in Turkish restaurants. I was still allowed to briefly do my namaz (albeit reluctantly) in a very, very small room. There was no possibility of orienting myself to Kabaa. Nonetheless, I recommend it.

Wir wollten spontan was wirklich Gutes und leckeres essen gehen. Und haben auch ganz kurzfristig einen Tisch im Restaurant bekommen. Der Service war wie immer sehr schnell und freundlich. Das Essen ist immer hervorragend und super lecker, egal ob Suppe, Salat, Fleisch oder was auch immer. Sehr schneller guter Service und sehr leckeres Essen. Was will man mehr. Wir fühlen uns hier immer wieder sehr wohl, wir kommen sehr gerne hierher.

We had high expectations and also some prior experience with this restaurant. However, this night we discovered that our roasted lamb dish with yoghurt tomato sauce consisted almost exclusively of roasted bread with some lamb in it. When we ordered Baclava, we discovered mould on one of the pieces. All of them tasted blend and also old. When we told the server about it, she apologized and only told us that we would not have to pay for it. That was their entire reaction. We are disappointed and will not go there again.

Kurzfristig reservierten wir einen Tisch für vier im Sultan Saray. Das klappte auch. Die Bedienung war flott unterwegs mit Speisekarten, Aufnahme der Getränke, Vorspeisen und Hauptspeisen. Das Sultan Saray war an diesem Wochentag fast voll besetzt. Dennoch kamen unsere Getränke und Speisen zügig und in angemessener Zeitabfolge. Die Speisekarte ist alles außer gewöhnlich! Wir nahmen sehr unterschiedliche Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte und alle waren zufrieden. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist für Stuttgarter Verhältnisse angemessen. Wir werden dort gerne wieder essen gehen!

Reasonably priced. The main course was good. What we don't understand is that the waitress opens the wine bottle and then says, "I'll pour it." It is appropriate that the guest is allowed to try… And unfortunately, occasionally unpleasant smells come from the toilet...but probably (hopefully) only that evening. The seating is very tight, but this is due to the good occupancy. Therefore: reserve a table! All in all, we won't be coming back. We wish the team all the best.

Went to this restaurant for the first time and were promptly extremely disappointed for a Turkish restaurant. No traditional Turkish cuisine Food was ok but not Turkish. We had a starter plate with too few fresh ingredients, the Yaprak Salma finished product and not all the creams were fresh. Main course Tavuk Sis ok vegetable side dish broccoli, carrots don't fit. Tavuk Güvev in cream sauce without rice. I know it with peppers and onions in tomato sauce. Chicken wasn't cooked well. In the end we couldn't even pay with a debit card at the current time in Stuttgart!

Except for the salad, the food wasn't tasty. I've been to many Turkish restaurants and the meat has always been well seasoned and tasty. Today I ordered a grill plate and it was a complete disappointment.

Wir waren mit neun Personen am Sonntagmittag zum Essen, und wir waren alle mehr als zufrieden. Schon die Reservierung im Vorfeld verlief zuvorkommend und reibungslos. Vegetarier und Fleisch/Fischesser waren hoch zufrieden. Jedes Gericht war liebevoll angerichtet, wurde schnell von mega freundlichem Personal serviert. Salat war frisch, genau wie das leckere Fladenbrot. Preis-Leistung ist absolut ok, was man sicher in Stuttgart so nicht leicht findet.

My vegetarian food tasted good but the meat from my friends wasn't so nice and was dry. The platting could also be a bit more "loving". Some pieces of vegetables were just tossed on the plates and it didn't look really appealing. It was a busy afternoon and there was only a single service employee for taking orders, making drinks, running food, clearing the tables and sorting the bills. Maybe they didn't have enough staff or maybe they wanted to save money... I don't know but we had to wait a really long time to receive service (not the fault of the waitress, she was really polite and professional). Overall, it was okay but would not return.

Es ist wirklich respektlos, ich und meine Freunde sind dort essen gegangen und haben mehr als eine halbe Stunde gewartet, bis das Essen ankommt.

Am ersten Weihnachtsfeiertag haben wir mit 9 Personen es uns hier gutgehen lassen. Bereits vor 20 Jahren habe ich dieses Restaurant besucht. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Es gab verschiedene Oliven, Joghurt mit Gurken und Knoblauch und Brot als Vorspeise. Einen gemischten Salat als Zwischengang. Sehr leckere Salatsoße. Verschiedenste Hauptgerichte wurden ausgewählt. Vom gemischten Grillteller mit Reis und Gemüse über Hackfleischspieß auf Fladenbrot, Kalbfleischspieß mit Gemüse und Reis über einen großen Salat mit Garnelenspieß ist alles dabei gewesen. Wir sind alle zufrieden gewesen. Preis Leistung hat hier sehr gut gepasst. Das anschließende Dessert, warmes Engelshaar mit Vanilleeis, Vanilleeis mit heißen Himbeeren oder das Baklava sind auch gut angekommen. Wir sagen Danke für den schönen Abend.

Dieses Restaurant ist für uns ein Muss, wenn wir in Stuttgart sind!!! Werden immer super freundlich,aufmerksam bedient. Das Preis Leistung Verhältnis zu dem liebevollen servierten leckeren Essen paßt.

Mein Hühnerbrustfilet hat nicht geschmeckt, hab ich liegen lassen. Leider kann ich auch nicht angeben was daran nicht in Ordnung war (sah gut aus - geschmacklich war es weder lecker noch genießbar)... Alles andere war frisch und lecker ... Salat Käse Brot Gemüse alles on Point. Superservice! Meine Begleitung war sehr zufrieden, es hat alles gepasst.

Wir haben eine gemischte Grillplatte bestellt, aber es war eine große Enttäuschung. Es gab hauptsächlich Hühnchen, aber das Seltsamste ist, es gab drei Stück Leber, die ich noch nie in einem gemischten Grill gesehen habe. Ich empfehle es überhaupt nicht für die gemischte Grillplatte zu gehen. Außerdem haben wir etwa 50 Minuten auf den gemischten Grill gewartet.

Sehr gutes Restaurant mit super Service.. das einzige was ich nicht perfekt fand, war das Ambiente.. aber alles in Allem wirklich ein empfehlenswertes Restaurant 😊

Wir hatten unterschiedliche Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte aber die gleich Nachspeise 😉 Alle Gerichte, vor allem die Fleischgerichte waren sehr, sehr lecker, und die Portionen waren nicht klein. Das Personal war unheimlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch der Preis war mehr als nur in Ordnung. Danke für den schönen Abend. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder 🙂

Viele vegetarische Gerichte, allgemein sehr viel Auswahl. Die Keller*innen waren auf trapp und zuvorkommend. Platz gibt es auch ausreichend.

Das Essen ist hier einfach der Hammer. Für vieles auf der Speisekarte mag zunächst ähnlich klingen, vor allem, wenn man türkisches essen nicht gewohnt ist, jedoch sind diese allesamt richtig lecker und individuell. Eine Empfehlung für jeden, der gut essen gehen will. Gerne auch mehrere Gänge, dann sollte der Hunger aber schon sehr groß sein denn gespart wird nicht an der Menge!

Das Essen war toll! Wirklich ausgezeichnet! Es gibt einen Punkt Abzug, weil es sehr lange dauerte, bis wir bedient wurden, obwohl sehr wenig los war. Vielleicht ist es sonst anders...man steckt nicht drin und es war mein erster Besuch. Aber das Essen war wirklich toll! ...Wie Urlaub...
