The Taverna Sultan is located in downtown Stuttgart and offers Turkish specialties Food: The vegetables I ordered baked with cheese were delicious and came with an extra side salad. The Turkish mocha was also great. There are some options for vegetarians. Good value for money. Service: Extremely courteous and fast service. I arrived 30 minutes before my group but was greeted warmly and served with drinks Ambiance: Very chic and spacious. In addition to the cozy tavern, there is also a stylish winter garden. Comfortable chairs.

Service is good but otherwise it is overpriced. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is absolutely not right here

The restaurant is definitely worth a visit, but I find the prices quite high. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is not right - the portions are simply too small for the price. What should be highlighted positively, however, is the very friendly and courteous service, which makes the stay pleasant. We also didn't have to wait long for our food, which is a definite plus. However: I find the prices to be excessive for Stuttgart conditions. Anyone who is prepared to dig a little deeper into their pockets will certainly experience good service here.

It is not the first and certainly not the last time that I visit this Turkish restaurant. Great food, great service and always in a good mood! Unreserved 5 stars from me.

The last time we were there was about three years ago. Yesterday the waiter immediately recognized us. The food was great, the prices were right, the ambience was unique, the selection was very large, the wait staff was very friendly and attentive. 200% recommended! We go there regularly again.

I was very excited about this Turkish restaurant, especially since the owner is from Germany. Unfortunately the food was a big disappointment. It tasted absolutely nothing like a typical Turkish restaurant and had neither the right spices nor the authentic flavors you would expect. It seemed more like a German attempt to prepare Turkish dishes, which unfortunately didn't work out. The service, however, was first class – very friendly, attentive and professional. My suggestion to the owner: Maybe specialize in German dishes, because the service deserves to be accompanied by equally good food.

Delicious lamb chop (lamb kotelet) including salad, rice and bread. Price is slightly toward expensive-end thus better have it dine-in (the restaurant looked very fancy and great place to hang out). recommended for dine-in services instead take-out. Great food and excellent place

The taste of the food is ok. A starter plate for one person around €17 was one thing. Price adjustment & the same is all well and good, but here I find the price/performance ratio to be very overpriced. Soup, starter and main course were all served 4-5 minutes apart. Given the prices, I would have expected that at least the main course would be freshly prepared, we had the feeling that because everything was served so quickly, a lot of things had already been prepared and perhaps just warmed up. Unfortunately, we weren't even asked if we would like something else to drink, the feeling was please eat quickly and goodbye, although when we left the restaurant there wasn't even a "goodbye," "have a nice evening," or anything like that. Four of us ate here and we all felt the same way.

The restaurant has a nice ambiance, and the service was good. However, if dining surrounded by a small zoo of rats appeals to you, this is the place. They’re everywhere—inside, outside, it makes no difference. To top it off, when you bring it up to the staff, they act like it’s completely normal. Bon appétit!

I went to Sultan Saray for lunch. In addition to the normal menu, there is also a lunch menu with three offers that change daily. In addition, all soups and salads are offered at a reduced price at lunchtime. I can't say whether the portions are a little smaller, as is often the case, I had something from the normal menu. The Turkish food is definitely not a kebab shop offering (there is no kebab at all) but rather a selection of Turkish specialties (as far as I can tell). I had chicken coated with yufka, baked in tomato sauce and cheese. There was also a small salad and bread. The portion was definitely enough, almost too big for lunch, but it was very tasty. The service was very friendly, attentive and quick, although it is fair to say that only a few tables were occupied. From my point of view, the atmosphere is divided into three parts. It is very cozy upstairs and has a slightly oriental feel. Downstairs inside it seems a bit cold and therefore uncomfortable. The winter garden also seems a bit cold due to the continuous glazing, but I can very well imagine that you can sit there very well in the evening when it is dark. Overall, you can certainly spend a lunch or evening here.

We enjoyed a super delicious Beyti Kebap. The Mercimek soup also tasted very good and is recommended. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. The price/performance ratio was good; I paid around €30 for a Ramadan meal. The ambience and atmosphere were very inviting. I will definitely recommend it and come back

I was there with friends last Saturday. We were assigned a seat very quickly and the order was taken quickly. After about 15-20 minutes we had our food. Personally, I liked the food, even if it was a bit salty. Until then I was quite satisfied. What didn't work at all and I would also like to inform the management about this was that no change was given when paying. They even said the amount and I said I didn't want to tip. This was probably simply ignored because he had two more statements. Nevertheless, it's not possible to simply keep a tip without asking. I found the food very tasty, great selection.

We spontaneously ate at the Taverna Sultan Saray and got a good table despite it being a Friday evening and a full restaurant. The operation went smoothly and very quickly. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Unfortunately one star was deducted because it wasn't seasoned enough. I actually don't usually know that about Turkish cuisine. Nevertheless, we had a lovely evening and enjoyed the really great atmosphere of the Taverna Sultan Saray. The dessert with Künefe and a scoop of vanilla ice cream was particularly recommended.

Bin viel besseres Essen gewöhnt, Bedienung war auch nicht der Hit

Leider sehr schlechtes Essen. Hat mit einer türkischen Küche nichts gemeinsam. Unangemessene Preise.

Absolut geschmackloses Essen. Schreckliche Bedienung. War schön öfters dort aber leider hat es mich nicht wirklich umgehauen. Es ist nicht ansatzweise irgendwas „ Orientalisches „ dabei (außer man sagt das Tortellini mit Schinken Orientalisch ist). Finde es persönlich echt schlecht, würde da freiwillig ohne sehr guten Grund nicht mehr hin.

Ich war am 29.12.23 mit meinen 2 Arbeitskollegen im Sultan Saray essen. Es war sehr Lecker und das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist akzeptabel.

Der Mittagstisch mit täglich 3 Gerichten bietet eine sehr gute Auswahl (ein Gericht hiervon ist immer vegetarisch). Bei jedem Gericht ist ein Salat vorab dabei. Das Essen schmeckt hervorragend und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für den Mittagstisch ist für Stuttgarter Verhältnisse echt super! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und super organisiert.

Haben hier das erste mal gestern Abend mit Freunden gegessen. Leider hat das Essen, keinem von uns geschmeckt. Wird zwar schön Serviert, schmecken tut es aber leider nicht. Vor allem für den Preis ist die Portionsgröße nicht gerechtfertigt. Wir haben die Teller alle noch voll zurückgegeben, Kellner hat uns ein Tee angeboten. Das Restaurant sieht von innen gut aus. Toiletten waren nicht sauber. Fazit: Würden alle nicht mehr kommen.

Top Essen, Nettes Personal zentrale Lage in Stuttgart

Das Essen war okay aber für die Menge und Qualität aus meiner Sicht zu teuer. Bedienung gab es nichts zu beanstanden. Zum Ambiente muss man sagen daß es für hohe Besucher Anzahl gedacht ist und dadurch eher ungemütlich wirkt.

Bei bestem Service mit gutem Essen verwöhnt worden. Typisch türkische Gastfreundschaft und Freundlichkeit.

Das gegrillte Gemüse war den Preis nicht wert. Die Portion ist zu teuer für den Preis. Des Weiteren lag mir das Essen kurze Zeit später schwer im Magen, hat sich nicht gut angefühlt. Es macht auch eher den Eindruck, an einen größeren Döner-Laden, so ist auch der Service. Immerhin sauber.

Das Essen hat geschmeckt, nette Mitarbeiter und eine gehobene Atmosphäre!

Das Essen war irgendwie nichts besonderes mehr. Ich gehe schon seit über 10 Jahren in die Sultan Saray. Meiner Meinung nach, war es damals einzigartiger und mittlerweile irgendwie vergleichbar und eher Durchschnitt.

Kommen hier grob einmal im Monat her. Essen wir auch der Service wirklich Top!

Schöne Location mit wirklich tollem Mittagstisch. Es geht immer alles sehr schnell und man muss nicht lange warten. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Preise sind echt fair und das Essen sehr lecker.

Wer hochwertig Zubereitete Gerichte mit frischen Zutaten bevorzugt ist hier sehr gut Aufgehoben. Original Türkische Küche auf höchstem Niveau.

Das Essen war sehr lecker (Mercimeksuppe, Sütdana Biftek mit Kartoffeln). Service war ganz gut. Und daher zu empfehlen.

am Anfang genoss man einen guten Service. Nachdem die Hauptspeise serviert wurde, war der Service vorbei und man saß auf dem trockenen. Bezahlen mussten wir beim raus laufen. Essen war okay, hätte es mir ein wenig Würziger vorgestellt. Die Qualität vom Essen war ok.

Gut und reichliches, schmackhaftes Essen ist hier immer zu finden Herzlich und freundlich wird man bedient.
