I haven't eaten this well in a long time.

Standard, not particularly special, but it's okay.

I have to say, despite the 30-minute wait due to holidays etc., the food tasted amazing and the staff were very friendly to the guests. I'm not from Stuttgart, but if you're ever there, I'd recommend eating there.

For dinner, we chose chicken skewers, Adana kebab, and beyti kebab. Overall, all the dishes had a grilled flavor. The chicken skewers were dry, and the Adana kebabs had a slight odor. They didn't offer lavash bread, only pide bread. This place should be more of a kebab shop than a soup restaurant; they should offer kebab bread with and without sauce. The green salad that came with it was fresh, but that was the only complimentary item. The prices are high, and the complimentary items should be increased. Although it received very high ratings from a group of immigrants who seem to enjoy almost everything and have underdeveloped palates, this place can only be considered above average or average.

We went there based on the reviews, but it was a disappointment. We sat there for 15 minutes and no one even took our order.

There were two of us eating here, and the restaurant was very full. We ordered soup, a mixed grill, and a doner kebab. The food tasted good, no complaints there. However, the mixed grill wasn't as described on the menu: for example, there were no ribs left, yet we were still charged full price without any replacement or additional side dishes. The various meats weren't all there. I don't think that's fair – either the price should be adjusted or an alternative should be offered. Good quality, but the billing was disappointing in this case.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. We reserved two hours in advance, and when we arrived, we had to wait outside in the cold for 30 minutes before we could go in. Half of the dishes weren't available to order because the machines were broken; I couldn't even order fries.

The doner kebab looked good, but the taste didn't convince me. The meat was very dry and the sauces had hardly any flavor. It would have been much better with a bit more juiciness and seasoning.

The food was tasty, but the menu said a doner kebab plate cost €13.50. At the checkout, I suddenly had to pay €16.90 for it. There was no prior notification that the prices had changed. That's really cheeky, sorry.

A very disappointing experience. My wife and I went to Köz Turkish Restaurant, and we both ordered the mixed grill. However, the waiter brought me the completely wrong plate, which wasn't even grilled. When I pointed this out, he simply claimed that's exactly what I had ordered – and he couldn't even find the video he was supposed to show me. Despite his mistake, I had to pay for the wrong plate, and the service was disrespectful and unprofessional. Even the food tasted bad. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant.

We generally liked the kebabs; they were above average, but the service was appalling. The waiter was quite helpful, but his boss's policies were extremely annoying. As someone who has worked in gastronomy for years, when I come to a Turkish restaurant, I expect to see four appetizers to sample before the meal. I don't think bread or tea should be charged extra. If I hadn't encountered this kind of greedy behavior, I would definitely have ordered dessert afterward, but I don't think I want to make more money for this restaurant.

I visited your Turkish restaurant "Köz Kebap" today and ordered kunefe. I wanted to take it home, but when I opened it, it wasn't sweet at all. It seems you forgot to pour the sugar syrup over it.

The food is generally good, especially the grilled meat. The service is good and fast. My biggest problem is that the restaurant doesn't have proper heating. This means it's very cold there for half the year, and you have to eat wearing a coat. The prices would be reasonable if the restaurant were properly air-conditioned, but without air conditioning, they aren't.

I ordered a doner kebab once, and it wasn't my first time there; I'm a regular customer. The employee tried to put the meat in a bread roll that had a hole in it. And this isn't the first time this has happened. I pointed it out to him, and he was rude. I paid for it, and the prices are quite high. I used to enjoy going there and have eaten many dishes, but I'm very disappointed.

I've heard less nonsense about tea being charged before the meal and free after. Coincidentally, they always run out of tea after the meal =) (This was my second visit, and the same scenario happened both times. You can eat the same or better quality food and get much better service at other nearby restaurants. I don't recommend it at all.

We're originally from Munich and spontaneously decided to eat here this evening, and it was a real find! The service was exceptionally attentive and incredibly fast. Our drinks were on the table before we even realized they'd been brought. Before our main course, we were served fresh salad and warm bread, even though we hadn't ordered them – a very nice touch! The salad was crisp and fresh, and the bread was wonderfully soft. I had Beyti, and my husband had Iskender; both dishes were simply fantastic. The meat was tender, the sauces perfectly seasoned, and everything arrived very quickly despite the restaurant being full. We really wish we had such a good Turkish restaurant back home in Munich. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Stuttgart! 🙌

On November 1st, 2025, around 4:30 PM, my family and I went to the KÖZ Restaurant for dinner. Over the past five years, I've probably been to this restaurant more than 200 times – meaning I've been there on average every ten days. But this last visit was an absolute disaster! That's precisely why I'm writing this review. We ordered grilled chicken wings for my 6-year-old daughter, Urfa kebab for my wife, and İskender kebab for me. Now, let me describe the problems in order: When you go to a restaurant as a family and pay for it, you want to eat together. But my İskender arrived first, then my daughter's dish came 10 minutes later, and my wife's another 15 minutes after that. That was the first problem. My daughter's chicken wings were 80% burnt. The waiter should have noticed this – after all, he's known us as regular customers for years, receives regular tips from me, and knows exactly what we always order. Despite this, he brought my child charred chicken wings. After I complained, they were replaced—but how can you serve burnt, potentially carcinogenic food to a small child? Would you feed your own daughter something like that—and pay for it? My İskender kebab was fine. My wife's urfa kebab, on the other hand, was a disaster! We've eaten urfa kebab there at least 150 times—often we only went because, despite it being lamb, it didn't have a strong lamb smell. But this time it was completely inedible. After we complained, it was replaced with a chicken skewer. The chicken skewer was fine, but by then it was already 6:00 p.m. My wife was already full from the salad and side dishes, so we left the food and went home. We had an appointment at 6:00 PM, and precisely because this restaurant is usually known for its fast service, we chose it – to eat quickly and leave on time. But due to the constant waiting and the mistakes in the kitchen, we spent over two hours there. In the end, the bill arrived: 68 euros! Up to this point, that wouldn't have been a big problem for me – after all, mistakes can happen in a busy restaurant. I've been 99% satisfied for years and wouldn't badmouth the restaurant just because something went wrong once. But: If you're making that much money and have a family who come every week, or sometimes even twice a week, as regular customers, then you should behave appropriately, as is customary in Turkish culture – that is, either waive the bill, at least reduce it, or offer an apology in the form of a dessert like künefe or baklava. Do you really think that I – as someone who eats out so often – will ever come back to you after this experience? No.

The soup was very good (pacha soup)! The kebabs were good, the beyti was not bad (I couldn't say it was very good because of the cheese and yogurt on the side). The salad that came with the kebabs was a large portion and good. Katmer was also good. The service was fast and the staff was nice.

After some time, I ate at this restaurant again. I ordered the grill platter for €28.90. What I got for that price was disastrous. It wasn't a platter, but more like a small plate that resembled a child's portion. I understand that everything has become more expensive, including the purchase price. But to sell something like that to customers as a platter for almost €29 is abysmal. It's a shame.

It’s a busy local spot that offers a good variety of dishes. We ordered the yellow lentil soup: amazing! The side salad with the pomegranate molasses was simple but it pleased the palette. The fries were very well done and the seasoning was scrumptious. My son loved their pepperoni pide and we devoured the mix grill platter with some hummus. All in all a good experience considering we made the decision on a whim. Our bill with four drinks came to a little above 60 euros.
