We went this week, the food was very delicious, we ordered lahmacun and beyti. We did not see any flaws in the service, we also paid by card. So we left very satisfied.

The Sultan Restaurant is a real highlight for all lovers of Turkish cuisine! The food there is simply incredibly delicious. Every meal I've tried so far has been a delight - from the succulent grilled specialties to the freshly prepared side dishes. The mezze platters and kebab dishes in particular are simply unmistakably good, full of flavors and perfectly seasoned. The ingredients are fresh and you can tell that they cook with great attention to detail. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the friendly staff makes you feel at home straight away. For anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Turkish cuisine, Sultan Restaurant is definitely a recommendation! I always enjoy coming back.

We have been visiting the restaurant regularly for a year. Today we wanted to go to the breakfast buffet 12:00 p.m. I called beforehand that we were 2 people and a child. I was told we were guaranteed a table. When we got there we waited 10 minutes, even though there were free seats with a sofa for 4 people. I asked can we sit there and the answer was rude, it's for 4 people and we can't be seated there. It was at 12:00 but not 10:00. For this reason I will never come back.

Very tasty Turkish buffet in a cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately, drinks have to be ordered and since the waiters are poorly organized, an order rarely arrives.

The place is beautiful, a place to go with family and special guests. It was probably a little busy because we went on the weekend. Unfortunately, our orders arrived cold. In that confusion, I expressed the situation to the waiter, but there was no solution. I hope they can offer better service. I'll try one more time.

We had a reserved table for 6 people. We first had to wait 15 minutes at the entrance until anyone came to us and then another 5 minutes until we got a table. After half an hour we were allowed to order our food. It took another hour for the food to arrive. When we asked how long it would take for the food because we had another reservation that evening, the answer was unfriendly: "Other customers have been waiting for an hour, I have no idea how long it will take for you “. The food arrived incomplete, a drink that was ordered never arrived. After asking several times about the bill, we were told that we should pay upfront; we had already been told that several times (also very unfriendly, loud and disrespectful), which was not true. Every time we were just told that they would bring us the bill. Which never happened. We will never eat here again and cannot recommend it to anyone. In terms of taste, it's okay, but the disorganized, unfriendly and incompetent waiters in this mess shop destroy the entire ambience. Terrible! If you as a customer want to be treated like dirt, feel free to come eat here. Otherwise, leave it alone.

We were there for breakfast on a Sunday and were able to try the delicacies from the buffet. We were very positively surprised. Everything tasted delicious and there was a large selection. The staff was super friendly and very quick with the service.

Doner kebab is nothing special, just hask meat, other products are a bit better...

Portions are a bit small for the price range. Ambiance is nice but on normal days there are few staff.

Ordered food to be delivered. Will be delivered soon, Sultan apparently says delivery in 45 minutes. During this time we called 3 times to ask when the food would arrive. Each time we were told we would be there in five minutes. That's very cheeky, because on the third call they said that the driver left five minutes ago. On the phone I was asked if I was Turkish because my last name sounded like that. When I replied that I wasn't Turkish but that it was my brother-in-law's last name, the man on the phone became totally unfriendly. When the food finally arrived, we unpacked and discovered that three side dishes had been forgotten. We then called them again. We were given a very cheeky answer and said that they were too busy at the moment and couldn't bring us the food, whereupon we said that they should either refund us the money for the missing food or bring it to us. The answer from them: Yes, we'll do it and then they just hung up. They didn't do either of those things. I have never experienced such poor service. If you could give 0 stars, I would have done so. :)

Best Turkish restaurant in Aachen area. We ordered beyti, it was very tasty, service was also very good.

Went for breakfast/brunch today! Unbelievable, but they charged €9.90 for a 1-year-old child. Shame on you - antisocial behavior. How much do you think a 1 year old child can eat?! We won't go there anymore!

The restaurant is super nice, the food is consistently delicious and the portions are huge. Each individual's wishes are catered for individually and the waiters are super child-friendly. We'd love to come back

We were there with a colleague for lunch break, we ordered a very simple breakfast, it took all of 35 minutes!!! In the meantime we were able to enjoy various Anatolian songs from the kitchen.

Never again... we drove from Essen to Alsdorf just for dinner, but unfortunately we were disappointed. The food wasn't tasty at all, Turkish pizza was from the day before, the portion was also small, I complained that the food was so old or Turkish pizza, they said we always make it fresh, then I tried it with 3 people and found that that was the case lahmacun (Turkish pizza) was not fresh but from yesterday. ) so I don't recommend it to anyone, it's not worth it at all. I also had stomach and abdominal problems after eating. So people NO-GO.

I ordered 2 pide. 1 with cheese and 1 with kebab meat. However, the doner kebab meat was a bit dry as I was missing onion, pepperoni and soft cheese. As I know it from Berlingrill in Würselen 🤷🏼‍♀️ The service was very nice and accommodating 👍🏽 I was offered tea while I waited, but since it was very warm that day, I declined and just got an Ayran. The employees in general were all flirting, some would say it was just meant to be nice. A male waiter even wanted to cook for me privately 🤔.

We saw it on Instagram and booked a table straight away. Were there from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., then it got very crowded. But the food is great. The atmosphere is very clean. Endless coffee and tea. Unfortunately the coffee was too strong for us. I can only recommend it. We happily drove 120km for it. It would be great if something like that existed here in the Ruhr area.

It's a shame it's not our first time coming, but yesterday was a big disappointment. Portions are always small and small. If there is a lot of bread under meat, they really think we don't notice.

The place is nice, actually the taste is not bad, but they reduce the quality with the missing service staff, there are only two people working in the service, they are nice and do their best, but two people is too few for such a restaurant.

I was there for the first time today and was more than disappointed. The ambience is more than beautiful & that's why my expectations were accordingly. We name space (the restaurant was barely occupied, 2-3 tables). After a long wait (about 5-10 minutes) I took the initiative and asked one of the waiters if we could please have a menu. This was then brought to us immediately. We ordered drinks, which were quickly brought to our table and took the time to choose what we would like to eat. We closed the cards to signal to the waiters that we were ready and around 10-15 minutes passed (as I said, the restaurant was hardly occupied, one table had already left). I took the initiative again and called one of the waiters over and he took our order. The food also followed relatively quickly, but so far there has been no communication or understanding from the waiters. The food was ok...until I discovered a HAIR in my food! From then on I was really full and just wanted to pay and leave. I called the waiter and told him, thank you, the food was delicious but unfortunately there was a hair in mine. He then answered me “ahh, that’s small” - I was so shocked and replied to him “it doesn’t really matter whether it’s small or big! That doesn't belong here! There was no apology or understanding of the situation. I asked him for the bill and we paid the full amount & even included a tip! The waiter didn't offer us anything as compensation & there wasn't even an apology from the kitchen. Normally I don't do it, I still pay the full amount (plus tip too) but I had the feeling that we were totally screwed from the start anyway were ignored & the encounter was just negative from start to finish. Never again!

When opening a place, workers are important first. It's been 4 years. All that's needed is patience. How long does it take to be patient?

Are currently having breakfast in Mariadorf. The food is largely lukewarm to cold, the tea we ordered is still a long time coming after the third request, cutlery (small spoons) is in short supply, normal spoons cannot be found at all. A pity. There are no notes on the different dishes indicating what is what.

The restaurant is not only popular with Turks. We were there for brunch on Sunday. Lots of guests, but attentive and friendly service at all times. Tasty dishes at the large buffet. Delicious dessert. If you like Turkish cuisine, I can definitely recommend this restaurant

It was a long journey for me, but it was worth it. The location is not the best, but the food, the ambience, the new service have done everything well... even done more than very well.

The food is amazing! The restaurant understands what a side dish means, more meat than fries and that's exactly how it has to be. Was served straight away when I came in and the staff is great.

We always come here for dinner. The service is good and the employees are very friendly. The food is very tasty and the portions are generous. I usually take the rest home with me. We'll definitely come back soon

This time I was there again at lunchtime with my disabled wife. 11:05 a.m. I wanted to eat kebab. The skewer has just been unpacked. That doesn't mean preheated! Plates cold - somehow everything was carelessly prepared. My wife was happy with penne chicken.

The Sultan Restaurant offers a fantastic open buffet. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff very friendly. The buffet itself is varied and delicious, with fresh salads, delicious meat and fish dishes as well as many vegetarian options. Every dish is carefully prepared and tasteful. The desserts are also a highlight, and the homemade lemonades are refreshing. Particularly worth mentioning are the coffee and tea flat rate as well as the glass of orange juice included in the buffet. Overall a great experience. Highly recommended for lovers of oriental cuisine.

Makes you wait a long time for food. Please don't go for the food. I don't recommend it to anyone. We went hungry and stayed hungry.

Was there again today after a long long time. Eat a snack . A kebab with fries. The first thing I noticed was the dirty cutlery, which I replaced first. Then I was served a plate where the edge was smeared with tzatziki. The fries cost 3.90 and weren't as crispy as I knew them from there. So I wouldn't recommend this store anymore, there are better ones! One star for friendliness

The breakfast buffet was very plentiful, with a large selection of dishes. What I tried was very tasty. Coffee and tea as much as you want. The only thing that wasn't so nice were the smeared high chairs, the changing table and changing mat were dirty and greasy and the toilets smelled strongly of urine and needed to be cleaned more thoroughly and more often. The restaurant opens at 9 a.m. and at 10 a.m. it already looked like this. That must not be. If these defects weren't there, I would 100% recommend the Sultan. In any case, we'll be back and who knows, maybe this post was read and taken to heart and the deficiencies were remedied.

The breakfast buffet is really worth it, there is a lot to look at and the taste is completely fine. The price-performance ratio is really very good. All in all I have to say that the breakfast buffet is not bad. A little tip on the side: the earlier you come, the more you can enjoy the peace and quiet. From 10:00 a.m. things get a bit more crowded and a little more chaotic

Mega ambience, very atypical and impressive! The staff probably doesn't have larger groups that often, but they managed it reasonably well. Unfortunately there were no home-made drinks.

I have bought Karışık Izgara for 2 persons. Very nicely grilled, seasoned and quickly served. Very, very nice place, gorgeous decoration. Will surely return.

The service is also sooo bad... always enjoyed going there with friends, be it breakfast or dinner, but recently the food had to be returned because the sauce was bad and we waited almost 90 minutes for the food 😣 very unfortunate

Breakfast buffet was great, the food was delicious but it was already cold in places. organizationally it was a disaster. We had reserved a table for 8 people for 11 a.m., we were then seated at a table for seven and a chair for person 8 was pushed to the corner of the table. It was very uncomfortable. We never received the orange juice that came with the buffet. The meal time is limited to 2 hours, which would generally be enough, but you wait in line for around 45 minutes per buffet, which makes it almost impossible to go a second time. Unfortunately, due to the noise and overcrowding, it wasn't a great restaurant, but more like a canteen. It's a shame, we as a family were looking forward to a great buffet, but unfortunately that didn't happen because it was so loud that we couldn't hear each other at all.

We came as four people. The mixed grill (Sultan sofrası plate) was nice. We replaced the döner that would come on a plate with chicken. I don't much prefer eating doner kebab in Europe. Because doner kebabs are usually fabricated. The hazelnut lahmacun that came was mediocre. We will come again.

Went for breakfast/brunch. Food was good, it was a buffet plenty to choose from. They advised we would get orange juice and tea for the table but we didn't get tea. Couldn't't get the attention of the staff as it was very busy. Would go back to try their evening menu.
