Disappointing service – not recommended! We were at Sultan Restaurant for a family celebration, but unfortunately, our visit was anything but pleasant. The waiter was unfriendly and practically pressured us to eat faster and pay immediately so the table could be given to another person. We weren't informed in advance that we had a limited stay – we should have taken that into account when making the reservation! I even expressed that we felt compelled to leave, to which we were met with a shrug. We felt unwelcome and dismissed, which ruined the entire evening. It's a shame, because that's not how you treat guests. We certainly won't be back!

We were there with the whole family today, and I think for most of us it was the last visit. The appetizer plate was for 8 people and the total serving was maybe 2 tablespoons. I ordered a rotisserie fried spit. 1. The order didn't arrive for an hour, and 2. my portion was a child's portion. My family laughed at me for my food. I would be really embarrassed to serve something like that. Afterwards, I ordered a Fanta for my son, but unfortunately, it didn't arrive. I had to ask several people about the Fanta, but even then our drinks didn't arrive. At some point, when we asked someone again, he said he'd bring us our drinks right away, and he came with the drinks within half a minute. So I don't understand why the others had such a hard time. My last visit there.

The atmosphere was generally very unpleasant; you don't feel like a guest, but rather like a load. We ordered a plate of sweets, but the baklava was inedible; it was too dry and tasteless. Extremely expensive.

We ordered mixed grill for two and Adana for the children. Since there was no Adana left, meatballs were brought to the children. Since there was no Adana left, the mixed grill was incomplete. However, they charged the full price for the mixed grill. Even though the meatballs were cheaper than the kebabs, they charged the full price for the kebabs that did not arrive. We brought two packets of kunefe to us, they came unpackaged, they said "that's what it is anyway". We ate dry kunefe. Probably the freebie was forgotten, this is not the first time we have eaten kunefe... We have come here many times, we have always tolerated the small shortcomings due to busyness, but there should not be this much in one meal. We won't go from now on. There were dry eggs, bread and cheese, there was cream, there was no honey, my fellow countrymen from Elazığ, I couldn't find this to suit you!!! We also paid 45 Euros.

You are open until 11 p.m. and if your driver only works until 10 p.m. then please write it on the flyers or websites. It was also purely annoying. My husband and I were regular guests in Alsdorf Hoengen when he wasn't yet in need of care. Then we were happy when Mariadorf opened with deliveries. Sorry, I had to let go and see who could keep up with the quality of the food, otherwise there won't be any kebab, just gyros!!!😢😡

Food was good and plentiful. The "small" starter plate was very tasty and sufficient for two people! Lamb on eggplant was very good. The service was attentive, friendly and quick so good. The room dividers made it comfortable despite the large room, everything was okay. The only point of criticism was that it was clearly too cold, at least at the window where we were sitting. Even I had cold fingers at the end. Nevertheless, we will come back because the food impressed us.

During my visit I was specifically told to pay in cash and there was a large sign there. But when I said 20 times that I didn't have any cash with me, the card reader suddenly worked and I was able to pay Pure tax evasion

Order was placed via Lieferando They were unable to deliver 2 dishes as ordered. More salad than meat and cold too. Complaint on the phone without apology. After insisting, my daughter got the food she ordered delivered.

Food was ok for me. Nothing special and too expensive for me for what I received. What is not possible is the feel-good factor. I didn't feel like a guest but more like a burden. Absolutely disappointing! The store was open for over 50 minutes according to its opening hours, but it was impossible to reach anyone. After five calls there was either no answer or I was immediately pushed away. This kind of behavior towards customers is unprofessional and disrespectful. If you no longer want to accept orders, you should adjust the opening times accordingly. The phone service is just as bad as the on-site service!

We went there for a breakfast buffet on Sunday last week. After a brisk entry, we waited about 10 minutes for the rationed orange juice (1 glass per guest) and then went to the buffet after an employee pointed out to us that card payment was not possible, very strange in 2024 but oh well. The food is typical social media food, it looks good but just tastes bland and boring. We come from Aachen and have had Turkish food several times and we have never experienced such bland food like that from a retirement home in a Turkish restaurant. The reason for the one star rating is unfortunately not very positive. As others have already reported in the reviews, our group also had two cases of food poisoning. We suspect the baklava or the fruit because only two out of four people ate it. Since I am one of those affected, I can't give more than one star.

The rice was lukewarm to cold. My colleague ordered a pide with sucuk and they simply put an ice-cold sliced ​​tomato on the pide, which made the pide completely cold. As for the food, while they offer a wide variety, the lack of focus means there’s no specialty. Everything is just average in quality.

We have been visiting the restaurant regularly for a year. Today we wanted to go to the breakfast buffet 12:00 p.m. I called beforehand that we were 2 people and a child. I was told we were guaranteed a table. When we got there we waited 10 minutes, even though there were free seats with a sofa for 4 people. I asked can we sit there and the answer was rude, it's for 4 people and we can't be seated there. It was at 12:00 but not 10:00. For this reason I will never come back.

Ordered food to be delivered. Will be delivered soon, Sultan apparently says delivery in 45 minutes. During this time we called 3 times to ask when the food would arrive. Each time we were told we would be there in five minutes. That's very cheeky, because on the third call they said that the driver left five minutes ago. On the phone I was asked if I was Turkish because my last name sounded like that. When I replied that I wasn't Turkish but that it was my brother-in-law's last name, the man on the phone became totally unfriendly. When the food finally arrived, we unpacked and discovered that three side dishes had been forgotten. We then called them again. We were given a very cheeky answer and said that they were too busy at the moment and couldn't bring us the food, whereupon we said that they should either refund us the money for the missing food or bring it to us. The answer from them: Yes, we'll do it and then they just hung up. They didn't do either of those things. I have never experienced such poor service. If you could give 0 stars, I would have done so. :)
