Sultan Kebaphaus in Essen

I just ate there. A friend of mine had mentioned beforehand that the food there gives you diarrhea. I didn't think much of it. She ordered a doner pizza, and I ate part of it with her. After about 20 minutes, I got a stomach ache and called my friend to ask if she had a stomach ache too, and she said yes. I'm wondering, was it the food? The general hygiene, or just bad luck? Someone should try to find out why people get stomach aches from it... what kind of bacteria is causing the problem. The pizza tasted okay, though. Unfortunately, because of the stomach ache, I can only give the meal two stars. We were served by a man with a notepad who seemed very disinterested and annoyed. When we wanted to sit outside, but the chairs were still locked, he didn't want to unlock them. Luckily, another employee offered to unlock the chairs outside. The pizza tasted fine, though. And as for the ambiance... it's just a kebab shop with tables and chairs for sitting.

Very friendly, the doner kebab plate was great and fairly priced at 12 euros.

A minced meat doner kebab that I had to hunt for under the pile of lettuce. When I found the meat, I realized that half was burnt and bitter, and the other half was mushy, meaning it was still raw, or had bread or something else mixed in. Maybe I should learn how to set up my gas grill first. It wasn't a doner kebab, but a triangular piece of flatbread, where everything fell out the sides. €7, burnt.

Delicious food, very friendly owner and everything was clean.

We ate a doner kebab plate with mixed salad, which was very delicious, reasonable prices, plenty of selection, and very friendly staff.

The shop wasn't particularly appealing from the outside. Unfortunately, there was hardly any meat on the kebab, as if I had eaten a vegetable kebab. One thing was good - they didn't skimp on the sauce. The meat was okay, but the spicy sauce wasn't that tasty. The seller didn't understand me properly and got two things wrong... but that can happen. The prices really blew me away. I don't eat kebabs often, but €7 for a small one and €11 for a large one is really too much! The small kebab was filling, but it wasn't a pleasant experience eating it. No offense intended, but the price alone makes a big difference, and this was definitely not a kebab worth €7, even if it did have a lot on it.

Price is worth it. The bread is soft and crispy and big, the meat tastes good and the kebab man packs in a lot of everything. Man of honor

I have to admit. My favorite kebab shop. Doner meat brand: Selcuklu!!! My insider tip: Doner Calzone....

It wasn't the best meat. Maybe I just got the wrong day. Unfortunately I wouldn't dare do it a second time.

5 Sterne sind Leider zu wenig, mit Abstand gibt es hier den besten Döner in ganz Essen und Umgebung, war noch nie zufriedener mit meinem Essen und freue mich jedes mal aufs neue dort zu essen. Der Besitzer ist mehr als nett und sympathisch, kann ich jedem wirklich nur empfehlen. Auch die anderen Gerichte auf der Karte sind sehr Lecker und wenn man regelmäßig kommt merkt sich der Besitzer sogar mit was man die Sachen isst. Hätte ein schlechtes Gewissen wenn ich woanders esse.

Ich probiere seit einigen Monaten immer wieder verschiedene Döner in dieser Umgebung und kann diesem Döner empfehlen, wenn man mal etwas anders möchte. Normalerweise hat man bei einem Döner das Problem, dass man entweder Fleisch oder Salat isst, hier ist der Döner gut durchmischt und hat unten und oben eine Fleischschicht. Sollte man mal ausprobieren. Preislich liegt ein Döner bei ca. 5€.

Alles top nur die Öffnungszeiten nicht. Sind nicht sehr kundenfreundlich bis 20 Uhr bis 19.30 kann man noch Sonnen. Es wurde wohl dabei vergessen das viele bis 19.00 Uhr arbeiten und dann ist der Andrang enorm.

Eine einfache Imbissbude. Wir haben Döner und Pide gegessen, beides mega lecker. Knusprig, saftig, frisch, lecker. Pide wird ganz frisch von Hand hergestellt, 10 Min sollte man da schon mitbringen - aber es lohnt sich! Dazu der nette Herr hinter der Theke, sehr freundlich und herzlich. Vollste Empfehlung.

Ich habe Currywurst Pommes bestellt, die Currywurst, wurde Frittiert,und leider schmeckte Sie auch so. Das Preisleistungs Verhälltnis ist sehr günstig.
