From the moment you walk in, it feels like you've been transported to another part of the world; you truly feel like you're in Italy. The service is quick and friendly. And the food is simply splendid, with flavors from both Germany and Italy—a truly memorable experience. I personally recommend the appetizers and the wine.

Immerse yourself in a Tyrolean atmosphere, a mountain hut, and traditional food. One of my top 5 restaurants in Europe. It has maintained a very high level of quality for years. Not to be missed. Even the staff is authentic. I don't compliment the staff, otherwise they'll get a big head 😜.

I had spare ribs. Unfortunately, they weren't cooked through. Otherwise, they wouldn't have been bad. However, the waiter wasn't very friendly and kept getting upset and swearing. I had taken the liberty of only paying for my food and drinks. He didn't like that.

Tourist trap Very very bad food, fish OLD, wienerschnitzel are most likely made of old boots. Hostress very rude, and serving time fornabeer more than 30 min, food Delivery time after order more than 60 min( had to wait 30-40 min to order) And very drafty and cold

Cute little place but 25 Euros for a plate of just ok pasta is insulting.

There were three of us, and we were very satisfied with the service. The coleslaw could have been better, though. A bit more of it, better seasoning, and more acidity would have been nice. But we would definitely recommend the place.

A somewhat secluded restaurant, reminiscent of a cozy après-ski lodge both inside and out – a rustic, typical atmosphere. The menu offers hearty, substantial dishes. The service was very friendly and attentive. I had beef goulash with Spätzle – the meat was tender and truly delicious. The portion of Spätzle could have been a bit larger for my taste. I particularly enjoyed the selection of digestifs in various flavors – very tasty! Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Very cozy and clean. Unfortunately, the food was only okay, and while the service looked good, we were ignored because we were sitting in the quiet room. The food was relatively expensive. When we did see the waiters, they were very friendly.

Hello, we ate here on Wednesday and were absolutely thrilled. They recommended the fresh pork knuckle, which I ordered; it was simply delicious. I've eaten quite a few knuckles in Bavaria, but the one here in Bremen surpassed them all. My wife had a pan-fried fillet, and she was also thrilled. Thanks to the friendly staff, and greetings to the chef.

We noticed that the restaurant and the service have changed! Family-run(?), which is rare! The student (I'm guessing) is friendly and hardworking; he'll go far! The food is always great, we'll be back! Ps: The music is so-so 😉

The South Tyrolean Hut is conveniently located near the train station, and the interior is undoubtedly inviting: lovingly decorated like a rustic wooden hut, cozy, almost with Alpine charm. The prices are already on the high side, which could certainly be justified given the quality – but unfortunately, we didn't get to try the food. The reason: We simply wanted a coffee and enjoy the atmosphere one early evening around 7 p.m. Although several tables were free, the service was extremely unfriendly. Before we were even allowed to sit down, it was made clear to us that guests are apparently only welcome here if they order a full meal. Coffee alone is "not allowed." This approach was not only off-putting but also irritating. In a restaurant that advertises itself as cozy and hospitable, a simple coffee shouldn't be a problem – especially at a time when the business wasn't yet at full capacity. It's a real shame: a beautiful location, however, completely devalued by the unprofessional, unwelcoming behavior of the staff. If you value friendly service, you should think carefully about whether to stop here.

One of the most amazing places. The seasonal dishes are always so delicious. The schnitzel, the spear ribs, and last but not least, the Kaiserschmarrn... Mmm, simply a POEM. Hospitality at its finest; I feel so comfortable when I'm there. Mattyas, the owner, is someone who makes everything possible, even if it's not on the menu. Highly recommended.

In a not-so-nice location near Bremen Central Station, this restaurant really surprised us! Its exterior is quaint with its wooden look, but the station location takes some getting used to. The surprise was the first impression of the interior: wooden tables and chairs, like in Austria or South Tyrol, but very cozy. Since there are no windows, they pretended to have them, using videos to provide a glimpse of the mountain landscape. Great idea! The food was excellent! I'd definitely recommend it for next time.

There are many reasons why we've enjoyed visiting the SÜDTIROLER HÜTTE for 10 years. Is it because of the restaurant manager Matyas and his friendly staff, the delicious meat, pasta, and dumpling dishes often influenced by South Tyrolean cuisine, the desserts—the Kaiserschmarrn is particularly noteworthy—the large selection of wines and schnapps, and/or is it because of the rustic interior design of the dining rooms? Probably a combination of all of these. So, we wish you continued success.

A truly lovely South Tyrolean restaurant with truly delicious food and excellent service. I highly recommend the Wiener Schnitzel, South Tyrolean Pfandl (a kind of pancake), and Kaiserschmarrn (a kind of pancake).

The Kaiserschmarrn was delicious and easily enough to share. I had Wiener Schnitzel, which was very good. The fries had a strange aftertaste from the grease. A spinach dumpling with sauce was conjured up for the kids upon request. It was also very tasty. The atmosphere is cozy. Overall, we found it rather expensive.

The ambience is nice. The wooden hut in Bremen surprises with its South Tyrolean accents. Unfortunately, despite the sparse attendance, it took a while until we were noticed and brought to a table. We ordered a mushroom lasagne and risotto. On the menu the lasagna was only listed as having mushrooms, especially chanterelles. Surprise when served: the good piece was with minced meat. When asked, they said “lasagna is always with meat”. For someone whose family comes from South Tyrol, this is a dubious statement for the region. On the other hand, it's quite daring not to write a main ingredient on the menu and expect the guest to be able to smell it. But: according to the arguments described, the service was very accommodating and had the lasagna returned *FREE* and delivered a risotto later. Unfortunately the risotto needed a few minutes of cooking time. The rice was still relatively hard and the dish was completely missing its famous fluffiness. But the taste was good. Overall, the service was good and, apart from the short argument, courteous. The preparation time was reasonable and the taste was also good. The negatives for us were an incomplete description of the dish and a risotto that didn't have the perfect consistency or wasn't cooked through yet. On its own, that might be worth an extra star. However, the overall impression does not correspond to the associated price. You end up with at least €20 per dish. Desserts just under €10. So overall a slightly higher price range where you can expect a little more than good service. We still gave a tip.

We have read the reviews here regarding the Kaiserschnarren. It was with great pleasure that we ordered this famous dish and were pleasantly surprised by the presentation and choice of fruit. But when it comes to the consistency and taste of Kaiserschmarren, tastes differ. According to the menu, the dish was caramelized - there was no taste of it. I usually know Kaiserschmarrn as a fluffy, torn dish. Here it was an egg pancake carefully cut with a knife. As stated in other reviews, the portion size is really enough for two people.

Very tasty food and even a small selection of vegetarian dishes. The staff was very friendly. The ambience is supposed to represent a kind of mountain hut in South Tyrol, but I honestly think the screens used as "windows" are a little too much and somehow disturb the desired atmosphere. Unfortunately there are no cheese spaetzle on the menu anymore, which is a shame. In general, highly recommended, the portions were large enough and everyone tasted very good.

The ambience and furnishings are really nicely done. Unfortunately, the service was not that friendly and accommodating. The young temporary workers actually tried harder than the senior. The taste of the food was okay, but not something that would make us want to come back. The onion roast was very rare (unasked for). The restaurant had been on our list for a long time and we were really looking forward to it. Despite the good reviews, we were unfortunately disappointed overall and would not recommend it.

Very friendly and very tasty. One child simply wanted pasta with tomato sauce (not on the menu) and the others also had various special requests. No problem. Some of the menu photos on Google are outdated. Prices are higher today. Dishes start at €20 but are really worth the money.

Came across this location based on Google reviews and its proximity to our hotel. Since I am dependent on a wheelchair, the operator tried to ask about accessibility by email in advance - no answer. Then just by chance, after studying the attached photos of the entrance area, I managed to get into the restaurant without a ramp with the help of my husband. We were the first guests who intended to eat there in the evening. The menu included typical Tyrolean cuisine. We received a daily recommendation with different dishes (asparagus, salmon fillet, etc.), which the following guests had, as well as the "round of Prosecco" as an aperitif at the house's expense. Our choice: side salad (as a starter) / spare ribs (main course)...there was nothing to complain about here. Strong beef broth with bacon dumplings (starter) / onion roast (main course)... the soup was more like dishwater and lacked any spice. The onion roast arrived at our table cold and immediately went back to the kitchen and was "improved". The meat was fried rare...not my husband's taste - you could have asked in advance how the guest preferred it - otherwise I always assume medium cooking. But the food can always be hot and an apology is also appropriate. The interior is quaint / rustic... something between Apres Ski - Stadl and Bauwagen... but that's just a matter of taste

The South Tyrolean Hut can be found just a few minutes from Bremen main station. The outside view alone is absolutely worth seeing. You come in and really have the feeling of a cozy mountain hut. We were really impressed. The food was extremely tasty. We will definitely come back here on our next visit.

An outstanding location! You have to stop by here. Everything is true, from A to Z! The dishes are so convincing that we will definitely come back. Both in taste, presentation, preparation and composition. Here you get a culinary delight with every dish! The staff is very attentive, friendly and helpful. Orders are taken very quickly and attentively! Everything is perfect here from start to finish, high praise! The location itself impresses with its typical South Tyrolean style. The look is impressive, even in the restaurant itself. Lots of attention to detail in the furnishings and decoration! All in all, we were more than convinced. A huge compliment to the landlord and his staff!!!

I can warmly and enthusiastically recommend this restaurant in Bremen if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a nice moment and also have something delicious to eat and drink. The ambience is decorated inside and out in Alpine style (wooden hut) and the food was also absolutely fantastic. The prices for the dishes are more than justified by the taste, quality and size of the portions, so don't let that put you off and give it a try, you won't regret it ;). For these reasons, I give this inconspicuously great restaurant full marks. Kind regards and have a great time :D

We were very satisfied with the food. Service, very attentive and competent.

First impression when entering the restaurant: why is there a bicycle behind the table in the entrance area? We were shown to the table and served in a friendly manner, without a doubt. The selected dishes were served quickly. The taste of the food was good, but not beyond normal. What was really bad was the conversation at the next table among regular guests (? with management?) about professionalism in the workplace and belly button piercing, smooching an acquaintance and the behavior of the partner and repeated lalala singing interludes, which then resulted in the "guest" napping " ended. Unfortunately, we sat almost shoulder to shoulder and couldn't "miss" it and left immediately after dinner.

Food is quite expensive, that's why only four stars. The service and ambience are great, the manager is always in a good mood and has a funny saying on his lips. The mail leaves here on Saturdays. The employees create a great atmosphere and involve the guests. I particularly liked the tall, good-looking, tattooed man with very short hair from the kitchen. It was great to dance with. Always my pleasure. :-)

I have already been a guest here twice. The first time everything was great. The second time I felt a bit unfairly treated by the service employee. It's hard to describe. My companion was treated extremely kindly, while I felt like I was punished with a little disrespect. I thought that was a shame because it somewhat diminished my very positive image of the restaurant. But as always, the food was really good!

I reserved a table for six people..... We ate and felt really second class....maybe it's because of the Advent..... Stress... But given the prices, I want to pay 100 like a guest Percent I feel..... Numbers at the end we had to wait at the counter in the corner.....not at the table like the others..... We were a normal group....... I could there big but definitely not there

The food today (December 7th, 2024) was delicious. Great Wiener Schnitzel. But four small remaining pieces put together into one. Leftover consumption at full price. The waitress had a lot to do. When it came to payment, the service at the table was over because we (6 people) wanted to pay individually. We had to go to the counter and wait there until someone had time to settle accounts with us. Of course there were no tips for this service. Charging top prices for food but making you feel inferior when it comes to service pisses me off.

Good food. There were 6 of us in the party, we ordered 5 different dishes, all of which were good. Generous portions. Managed to get a seat even though we hadn't pre-booked and the restaurant was full. Very high noise level otherwise very cozy restaurant

Cozy restaurant with a South Tyrolean ambience and flair. Friendly service. Waiting times are still okay. Not too many dishes on the menu but some tasty and nice dishes. Unfortunately, we only found a side salad for very few dishes. (Coleslaw). We would have liked there to be a side salad with both the Wiener Schnitzel with fries and the onion roast with fried potatoes. We ordered this specifically. However, the small side salad was so big that it could almost have served as a dish in its own right. Apart from the fried potatoes, which were very pale and not fried much, they were quite tasty. Schnitzel is okay no more either. The dessert, the Kaiserschmarrn, was excellent! In terms of price, it's a bit overpriced considering the lack of side dishes in the selected dishes. In comparable Restsurants, the side salad is included with the same dishes. Another point of criticism is that "short" ones were served on the house twice at the next table. If so, you should treat your guests equally and keep communication with all guests as equal as possible. Would we come again? Rather no, because the overall feeling is unfortunately not enough.

Great, rustic location with very good service and really excellent food. The raclette is very good and absolutely recommended. The other dishes are also of high quality and very tasty. The service is really super friendly and accommodating. The wooden house ambience is cozy and even though it is located at the train station, it is well implemented. Great selection of drinks and the dessert was also great. We would also give 6 stars :). Absolute recommendation and definitely again. P.S.: The second visit was also perfect, definitely a must in Bremen. Great team :).

Service was slow - food was served and was then left alone for 40 mins, no one asked if food was ok or if we needed another drink which we did. Being in corner in was hard to wave down staff and was ignored, waiting an additional 20 mins for bill after getting up to ask twice

Today I had dinner at the Südtiroler Hütte in Bremen. I ate the South Tyrolean Pfandl (pork medallions with bacon dumplings and cabbage) and for dessert I had panna cotta with forest fruits. The restaurant is run in Italian style and there is no South Tyrolean or Bavarian charm. The restaurant is brightly decorated. It was tasty, but I can clearly say that I definitely prefer the Edelweiss restaurant around the corner 🙂👍

The Tiroler Hütte in Bremen is definitely worth a visit. The service is extremely friendly and attentive, which creates a pleasant atmosphere right from the start. The ambience exudes coziness and is reminiscent of a real mountain hut - perfect for enjoying a relaxed evening. A reservation is definitely recommended as the restaurant is often busy. The prices are slightly higher, but the quality of the food justifies this point. The dishes are fresh, rich and excellently prepared. All in all, a great experience for anyone who values ​​good service and fine cuisine.
