Subway Deutschland in Gießen

Yesterday I had a very, very friendly and courteous employee on site. The food was very fresh and delicious. The shop was very clean. Would eat there again

Unfortunately the dirtiest subway in the area. And the waitresses are also very unfriendly and don't listen. Would give 0 stars if possible.

What can I say? You guys are trying hard. But they are not well organized. And the fan fries are old and dry.

Even though the employee was alone in the evening and there were more customers besides us, he remained very polite and helpful when complaining about coupons that could not be redeemed . Respect for the young man, I wouldn't have succeeded with this pushy couple. We have always received friendly service and enjoy going there.

The Subway store is very clean and the employees are very friendly, I would definitely recommend this branch :-)

Yesterday I went to the Subway at Philipp-Reis-Straße 2 in 35398 Gießen for the first time and was very positively surprised by the visit. The current coupons were accepted and I was also able to decide which vegetables should be on the sandwich. The sandwich (chicken teriyaki) tasted fresh and delicious. The two employees were very friendly and accommodating. This is exactly how I imagine a successful visit to a franchise restaurant!

I went to Subway again today after a long time and was really disappointed. At least in this store it was so dirty and unhygienic. The window above the ingredients apparently hadn't been cleaned in a long time and the area between the containers with the ingredients looked just as dirty. And the subs weren't particularly tasty for the price now and the cookies used to be so tasty and now they're completely hard and small. So I hope it was just the store and not everywhere.

Disastrous service and no insight into errors. I was there earlier and was asked 2* what sauce I would like on my sub. When I got home there was a different sauce on it. When I came back I was to be fobbed off with half a new SUB with the right sauce instead of the footlong I paid for. Not even a sorry or anything.

Food was as usual, except that around 7 p.m. there were no more cookies and no cheese oregano bread You also had the feeling that you should take the food with you because half the seating area was already closed...

Always delicious sandwiches and pleasant and quick service. When we are nearby, we like to come here. The ambience (as far as you can call it that) is normal for a fast food restaurant. You order quickly and eat quickly.

I don't even know where to start. We arrived with the Subway coupons in PDF. Of course that didn't work, we had to go back and get the analog coupons, only to hear from the employee that the branch wouldn't take part in this campaign... After a little discussion, it suddenly only worked for certain coupons. The drink selection was also modest. Of course you can't refill it anymore, Subway is broken but the employees can't do anything about it. The sandwich was way too spicy. Comfort when sitting is also a foreign word here. The toilets have a sitting toilet and that's it, the light works just fine.

Very disappointed! We were there about 18 minutes before closing time and were very rudely told by an employee that there were no more breads, even though there were still some on the trays. After asking again, the employee said he was off work (18 minutes before closing time). We are very disappointed and will not be going here from now on, even though we normally enjoyed going there.

Typically SUBWAY. System restaurant is the same everywhere.

Went there for lunch during the week and took advantage of a 2 for 1 offer. One employee was busy, a second one joined in a little later. The subs were prepared in a reasonable time and are only packaged in paper. If there had been a tray, the table wouldn't have become crumbly so quickly. But the subs were tasty. The cookies feel smaller and thinner. Without the 2 for 1 offer, a 30cm sub would have been too expensive for us. There are enough parking spaces available.

We just wanted to redeem the existing points on the last day before the app was changed, but this was no longer possible because the manager had already changed the system. We were just told that unfortunately we were unlucky and had no way of taking advantage of the expiry of the points! Really bad service!

This subway was very good. The service was very friendly and had patience with us 😁. The restaurant was empty and therefore the atmosphere was very nice. The area is also perfect, as there is always little going on in the industrial area on weekends. Only the decoration and style leaves a bit to be desired and could definitely be overhauled a bit

Food was okay, even if it was simply served in paper, without a tray. The men's toilet was a mess. Dirty, lights don't work and spiders squatting in the corners.

There today at around 4.30 p.m. and was served by an extremely unfriendly and demotivated employee. For me the question arises as to why someone with such negative energy would work in service at all. The potato bites weren't cooked through and he must have counted them out very carefully. Two tables were full of crumbs, even though there were 3 employees in there at the time were service. Won't be coming back. It's a shame, because the subs are actually delicious.

In general, everyone always served her well, only Luisa didn't really put enough meat on it. Next time I see her I'll turn around and go to another sub because I want to cover my protein for the money

Clean, tasty, friendly. I always like to come back, just because of the selection of brit, sauce, salad and toppings. You rarely see something like that 😁

01/29/24, 5 p.m. there. New, overwhelmed and unfriendly employees get nothing done. Forgetting cheese, lying about whether the subway card was scanned (I realized afterwards that it wasn't) and no other ability to communicate. Especially the guy who didn't even really know German had absolutely no desire to work. Apparently people who want to do this job are in short supply, otherwise you wouldn't hire them. My recommendation: there are plenty of other subways in Giessen, so it's better to go to the others. Anywhere better than here!

The food at the counter didn't look appetizing and the employees are SO unfriendly!!!!! You ask something and there is no answer... No hello, no wish for a nice day… not even offered a bag for food. I'm not coming back.

Food top. In every other SubWay I can put together my own sub. Here I choose the meat and I am not allowed to make any further selections. It doesn't work everywhere except here. Too bad

There was only one person to do all the work and it created a long waiting time when I was in the store. I feel so pity for the staff while the queue was getting longer and longer and she had to handle all the work alone. This subway outlet offers catering that starts from 36 euros. The outlet was calm and quiet. The tables were not clean and we needed to do it ourselves, obviously due to the Staff shortage. The food was nice and the bread was so fresh and tasty. Disclaimer: This is my personal opinion and can vary according to the person

Disaster, the employees. Food was prepared carelessly. Employees not at all interested in the matter. Didn't really listen when choosing the side dishes. Toilet, badly dirty

I just got yelled at because I ordered food that I paid for. What a wonderful experience.

The employees are very unfriendly and you should also pay attention to the dress code, I mean walking around at work without a bra so that it is very conspicuous, I personally don't find it that tasty Food was prepared carelessly

Dienstag Abend hatte ich das beste Subway Erlebnis meines Lebens. Top service Top essen.

Beide Mitarbeitenden wirkten sehr unmotiviert. Schnell abkassiert, kein Danke und Bitte. Kundenservice quasi nicht vorhanden. Wenigstens die Bestellung wurde richtig, wenn auch lieblos zubereitet. Nächstes Mal wohl lieber woanders.

Eine sehr zuvorkommende, nette, junge Dame bediente mich an diesem Tage. Ich und meine Freunde war sehr zufrieden mit dem Service ! Weiter so!

Mega tolles Essen, habe mich sehr darüber gefreut, es hat sehr gemundet und der Herr weigel war sehr freundlich und schnell und nett hat das Essen sehr lecker zubereitet Er ist ein toller Kerl Stefan ist ein sehr guter Mitarbeiter und sehr fleißig und macht fast die besten subs.

Ich war am 24.1.23 gegen 15 Uhr in der Filiale Gießen West. Das junge Mädchen welches mich bediente war sehr freundlich. Das Esser war lecker wie immer! Komme gerne wieder. :)

Lara Emily und deine Links geprägte freundesgruppe zieht mal net den Laden runter, Sandro bester Mann das Personal ist nett und essen immer warm.

Leider waren die hygienischen Zustände vor Ort eine Katastrophe! Schon beim ersten Hinblick sah man, dass nahezu sämtliches Salat alles andere als frisch war. Zudem sollte man auch ein wenig darauf achten, dass auf dem „Zubereitungstresen“ zwischendurch mal mit einem sauberen Tisch gewischt werden sollte. Das Auge und auch der Verstand essen mit, daher nur 2 Sterne. Sobald ein 2ter Besuch meinerseits erfolgte, wird meine Rezension entweder im positiven Sinne angepasst oder (was ich nicht hoffe) bestärkt.

Subs schmeckten gut, Service war zügig und sehr freundlich.

War langer nicht mehr bei Subway aber wie immer sehr gut und sehr lecker. Das restaurant ist sehr sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich.

Leckere frische Sandwiches, freundliches Personal und für mich der beste Subway in Gießen. Gibt nichts zu meckern, komme immer gerne hier her 👍🏼

Eine andere leckere alternative zum normalen Fast food.

Wir wurden zügig und sehr freundlich bedient. Das Sandwich wurde genau nach unseren Wünschen belegt und war sehr lecker. Dass keine Seife zum Hände waschen genommen wurde wäre der einzige Kritikpunkt, aber das funktioniert in den wenigsten Subways.

Immer wieder lecker, nimmt nur an keinen Aktionen teil...

Bei Subway schmeckt es sehr gut und ich würde in Empfehlen .

Luisa hat heute einen super Job gemacht! Obwohl es um 11:50Uhr mittags langsam voll wurde, sie alleine war hatte sie ein Auge auf die Gäste (max Anzahl im Restaurant) hat 3-4 Gäste vom Brot bis zur Kasse gleichzeitig gehandelt, dabei trotzdem noch 100% hygienisch korrekt gearbeitet (zb. Handschuhwechsel und Desinfektion nach Kasse) und ist noch ganz individuell auf jeden eingegangen bis hin zur Frage: Ist dein Sandwich so wie du es möchtest? Klasse, (leider) selten erlebt (in anderen restaurants) und MUSS mal hervorgehoben werden :)
