I usually refrain from giving negative reviews. But something needs to change here. My sub was being prepared, and while I was rolling it up, I noticed from the display case that there was a long hair in my sub. The salesperson tried to pull it out because it was quite long. Instead of offering me a sub, she wanted to give it to me. I insisted on a new sub because her colleague was helping prepare it and then it was thrown at me. If you work in the restaurant industry, your hair should be properly tied. And please don't wrinkle your nose or scratch your back with your gloves. No matter where your employees come from, you should be able to speak German, even if it's broken. There's no point in hiring low-wage workers and scaring away your customers. Everything has its limits. At the end of the day, nobody wants hair in their food. I don't even want to start talking about the speed!!!!

The moment of posting the original review was right after the incident. I would recommend you check your past schedules to determine who was working at that moment.

I can't recommend this Subway. We waited 60 minutes for our order, and in that time, maybe 10 subs were made – that can't be their standard! The place wasn't full. On top of that, they ran out of bread after 7:30 p.m. Simply bottomless! The self-service kiosks definitely don't save any time!!!

This Subway has catastrophic service. We waited 45 minutes for our order. The two employees were massively overwhelmed and worked extremely inefficiently, resulting in such a long wait. I highly recommend staying away from this place for anyone just looking for a quick break...you could easily spend an hour here. Perhaps some employee training would help.

Really bad! It's edible but... Bad service. Baguettes get cold during shift changes. Then they run out of ingredients. Half of the ingredients aren't on the plate.... No service - the terminal, then the card reader doesn't work. I have to take another card from my partner because I don't have any cash. Better to bring a sausage sandwich from home! And at these prices these days! A disgrace!

We were given vouchers for the Subway in Remsfeld. For this reason, we went there with one of our children. The atmosphere was quite okay for a service station. It was a Tuesday evening, so we were served without having to wait. However, it seemed as if the friendly employee was a little overwhelmed with three people ordering at once and billing using vouchers. Perhaps, at my mid-50s, I'm not the right clientele for this fast-food restaurant. My expectations were completely different. I had expected crispy baguettes and nuggets. Our daughter also wanted griddled potatoes and a Turkish pastry. We were served lukewarm, soggy baguettes on which you had to search for the topping. The nugget triangles tasted old and like cardboard. The Turkish pastry was rock hard. The potato pieces had only grazed the deep fryer and were half raw. In fact, I can't remember ever being served such a bad meal. Since other guests arrived after us and the young man was alone and seemed stressed, we didn't want to put any more pressure on him, so we didn't complain. We simply threw most of it away. I'm only expressing my personal impression here. This is definitely not the kind of food I want to be served. Personally, I won't be visiting Subway fast-food restaurants again.

Since the changes since the monitors have been there, there has been one big mess, the employees do not know what is going on and the monitor contains errors, such as bread, e.g. honey, and the drawing of chees oregano is a disaster, the sandwich is cold, no additional ingredients!!! Edit Today I came back again at 3:00 p.m. and I got great service, everyone 3 nice, smiling and a sandwich made by Kozak, that's how it should look!!!! It's 8 p.m. We're on the way home and stop at the rest area hoping to get a quick meal at Subway that's still somewhat healthy. After queuing for a short time, we can order from the machine at the front. The order was placed at 8:10 p.m. We've been waiting ever since... And waiting In between, other order numbers are shouted because the system is not updated and the screens still show orders from the morning, e.g. the 30. We had the order number 171. After waiting 30 minutes, one of the two guys behind the counter notices that they no longer have the bread they ordered. Another 10 minutes pass until the bread is actually topped with meat and cheese and can go into the oven. After 45 minutes we finally got the subs we ordered. So it's now 8:55 p.m. We are at the rest area for almost an hour. And then there are no sauces, we get it to take away and not to "eat here" as ordered and of course nothing is really warm anymore. When asked, we at least got two cookies as compensation, although I had to point out that they had made cookies because it was obvious that neither of them had any idea what the other was doing. Despite all this, the guys were still nice and accommodating. Anyway. Still, it's a shame, especially since the same problem was pointed out in other reviews and the owner responded and promised improvement. I hope that things will improve here, that the staff will receive better training or, in the case of bread, that enough bread will be provided, because I don't think it will work that way in the long term.

It's always been ups and downs at this subway, very variable quality depending on the employee. I actually welcomed the introduction of the ordering terminals, as no information could be lost acoustically... but you still have to be careful when preparing, because otherwise half of it would simply be missing... and I was the only customer! It's also nice when you've ordered and no one comes... I would have felt like leaving straight away, but you've already paid. That used to be much better! Put together a decent team that is up for the job. If you advertise with “have it your way”, you also have to respond to each customer individually and simply read the order carefully!

Kind of disgusting and long waiting times. It was about ordering a sub with a vegetable patty. As soon as we ordered, we noticed that the patties in the display had frozen ice crystals all around them; How could it be otherwise, they were still frozen inside after serving. One reason to complain despite being overcrowded and the service was to take the half-eaten sub back over the counter, put it on the counter and continue to warm it up in the oven. In addition, despite the impersonal ordering terminals, we had to wait an incredibly long time because people known to the staff who showed up after us were preferred, even though they placed the order about 20 minutes after us. Instead of feeling rested, we drove on annoyed and unfortunately we can't give any recommendations.

The staff has actually always been unfriendly. The store has hardly ever been open recently. I've been there several times at lunchtime and wanted to eat, but the shop is always closed. When I asked, I was told that there were staffing problems and that I could also eat something else at the attached rest stop. So you just try to redirect people to the rest stop and do business there. It is understandable that there are sometimes personnel problems. But the fact that it hasn't been possible to solve this for weeks is less likely. In the future I'll probably save myself the effort of stopping here only to find out that it's closed anyway

I recommend looking for another subway and giving this a wide berth!!! The waiting time is extremely long, the staff is very slow and forgets ingredients that even cost extra. If it were possible, I and my family would give it 3 stars. And that would be too well-intentioned. We were in the subway in question on March 8th, 2025 at around 7:35 p.m. My wife and child went to the toilet and I had the task of ordering something for us. When I arrived at the terminal, I saw containers of ingredients covered with cellophane wrap sitting on the counter. The waitress soon came, only to tell me that there was nothing left. When I asked why, I was answered: "My colleague and I are new and still have to get used to it. Since it takes longer to clean up/put away, we stop 10 minutes before closing time and put everything away." Unfortunately it was only 7:40 p.m.! Afterwards, I thought about what to do and looked around the entire shop for other food options. Unfortunately, the offering there didn't suit my taste. So I went to the young lady again and told her (quote): "It's already clear to you that I'm going to report Subway Germany!" The answer I got was the following (quote): "My boss knows that." Whereupon I said to her: "No, not to your boss, but to Subway Germany, i.e. the headquarters!" She looked at me irritated for a moment, only to shrug her shoulders and turn away from me to continue putting away the groceries. The week before I went to this subway alone. At least I got a sub. Even if there are said to have been no more tomatoes (which I personally absolutely don't believe). But I had something to munch on and was able to continue the rest of the journey, full. I can understand if you as a person want to finish work earlier. We've probably all done it at some point in our lives. But if you believe the lady's statement, the franchisee also seems to approve of this. And if that were the case, it would be the height of impudence. And I have always been of the opinion that Subway Germany ensures that the staff is trained. This does not seem to be the case here. Improvement is urgently needed here! Unfortunately, this subway restaurant is the only one on my long route (I'm talking about the rest stop here), which I definitely won't go to in the future. Unfortunately, others are suffering as a result. Because refueling is also a no-brainer since I won't be taking a break there anymore. It's a shame, because it's quite comfortable there. And yes, I also sent an email to the subway headquarters.

The subway is extremely squeezed between the gas station and the bistro. The subs were good, but the ingredients weren't as ordered. You order from displays here. The Footlong Cookie with Choclate Chunks was ordered at the display. There is no one else to order here. Ordering is only possible at the terminal, staff avoids customer contact and hardly reacts even when spoken to directly. Vouchers for toilet fees are not accepted, even though it says so on a sign. Unfortunately, overall I can only confirm the many negative comments. Improvements are probably not wanted since the owner also reads these comments. If you're not taken seriously as a customer, I'll just go spend my money somewhere else.

First there's only one employee whose shoes you can sole while running, another employee ignores the customers and prefers to 'play' with the potato pieces... I once worked at subway myself, but I've never experienced such incompetence. After 34 minutes of waiting, the toasted sub is now cold in front of me 🤔 and it's dripping with sauce so you can't taste any of the sub. Paid extra cheese but didn't get it.

It's really unbelievable what is being achieved here now. How can you - despite a printed receipt listing the desired toppings - get almost everything wrong with a sub?? I order a Meatless Teriyaki, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, pickle, corn and what do I get? Chicken breast with lettuce, peppers, cucumber and pickles. So sorry, but the incompetence that currently exists in the store is really just laughable. Please start hiring people again who can at least read and maybe take the bad reviews a little more seriously. If ingredients are already sold out by the end of the day, this has to be communicated to the customers and not just something added to the sub as the mood takes them - especially for the price you are now paying.

Actually 0 stars! After 15 minutes, someone finally decided to start preparing it. After 25 minutes there were cold subs that were barely edible. After unwrapping, the contents lay next to the bun. And over €30 for 2 people. In itself it's outrageously expensive, and then bad service too. Unfortunately, the other reviews were confirmed. Also make a complaint directly to Subway. Edit: Dear owner, Do you monitor your employees via video? Or do you expect people to film 25 minutes of failure? Read here with your eyes open, we are not an isolated case. The receipt from the tablet is from 7:57 p.m. If you can't get anything going, you should probably just leave it alone.

There were no cookies left during opening hours, they were ordered via the terminal and after 10 minutes of waiting you were told that they had run out and no one was willing to make any again because they were prepared and were only noticed for a short time. On another day there were 2 younger workers who were nowhere to be found for 5 minutes and then came around the corner and then preferred to continue talking instead of taking care of the customers

The employees are a joke. They can't even read the ingredients. There were three of us there and all 3 sandwiches were wrong. If you say so, it will be taken back grumpily and remade, but you'll get dirty looks. Even when you say thank you for the new sandwich, I'll just get a stupid look from the little blonde boy. The other one can only speak broken German, maybe that's why she can't read the orders. Edit: oh yes and there was only one ordering machine on. Only when asked was a second one turned on grumpily with over 5 customers.

Ball tent, we arrive with 12 people and the screens for ordering go out. We order from the neighbors and the screens turn on again. After 3 orders, the screens turn off again for a well-deserved smoke break. And that at 2 o'clock in the afternoon.

I would have given 0 stars, but even that would be too much. We ordered a total of four subs, 2/4 were wrong and defective - despite a receipt with the exact list of ingredients - 1x was not made at all. My colleagues went to the counter to pick it up, and it was discussed with the employee that a sub was still missing, which he didn't believe, and when he counted it and presented the receipt, he saw that something was missing. As already mentioned, 3/4 had incorrect toppings / wrong bread / completely wrong sub. When asked, the employees react in disbelief and are more annoyed than solution-oriented. After a lot of back and forth, we finally received the subs we ordered. Both still defective, one absolutely inedible due to too many jalapenos.... (see picture) Keep it up - keep ignoring all the negative reviews, then you'll soon be the worst subway in Germany - but hey, that's an achievement. Absolutely not recommended.

When I arrived there was an A4 note hanging on an ordering terminal that said "Break until 3 p.m." ...unfortunately it was already 3:45 p.m. When I asked, I got the answer "10 more minutes"....approx. 16 minutes later I left without SUB. .....sorry guys...but it doesn't work that way!

Disastrous staff. Nobody in front of us. Ordered two subs. 3 employees. After 20 minutes still no sub in my hand. In the meantime, all three employees had disappeared without a trace. The freshly toasted subs got cold. The colleagues in the shops next door are at least as helpless as the customers. The customers who arrive after us experience the same poor service. CLASS. We will definitely never come back - I can't recommend it to anyone!

This was a different kind of Subway. I had to take action twice to get my order processed even though I was the only customer. 1. Order deleted without processing 2. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the quality of the food because after 30 minutes. I left the waiting time without food, unnerved, and my money (at least €9.70) was not refunded to me. Apparently a refund is not possible when paying by card. There were 6-7 open orders in front of me (approx. 12-15 sandwiches in total). In total we spent almost an hour waiting for our food. After about 45 minutes of waiting, the two subs we ordered arrived. There was no sign of the fries or the nachos bites. We should please come back in 5 minutes. Back about 10 minutes later, still nothing to see. Again we should please wait another 5 minutes. Then I went back and still nothing was finished. We then got an iced tea and 1 cookie as a replacement. Our money was not refunded and the equivalent value of the replacement products was less. We feel really ripped off and ripped off by the store. 12/27 Peak travel time in Germany. There are not enough goods and not enough staff to handle the increase in Christmas travel. It's kind of a blast... If only 1 person is standing there and can't get anything done, you have to close the order terminals in between so that there isn't such a backlog, chaos and long waiting times. Nothing works at all. Subway did an excellent job of showing how it absolutely CAN'T be done!

When it came to the toppings, the sandwiches were mixed up and I had the topping that my wife had chosen for herself. The insert had nothing to do with what I selected in the kiosk system. In addition, when ordering you could select (and pay for) many drinks that were then not available. The truck stop is quite narrow overall and what little space there is is filled with sales displays.
