I parked at a very large truck parking lot at 2:00 a.m. and found a spot without any problems. The restrooms are neat and clean. Parking costs €20, of which €15 can be used at the restaurant. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and you can easily converse in English. I recommend it!!! I will definitely visit again 👍👍😉

I paid €20 for parking, then ordered a burger and a beer which cost me €19.50, and they kept the yellow food voucher without giving me the discount. So I've already spent €39.50 and I don't have the parking receipt because of the waitress who keeps saying she has nothing to do with the parking. I think she keeps the parking vouchers and resells them later.

I was parked for 30 hours, paid for two days, 12€ for food... I got spaghetti bolognese to go, you can do it on site... Very tasty...

The restroom was clean, the site smelled good and was stocked, and there was a paper towel dispenser that dispensed plenty of paper. The best highway rest stop I've seen in ages. The location is just inconvenient for a trailer.

The parking lot is huge, but the frying pan is unbearable. There's no shade. You can plug in a refrigerator (Nomad). Clean restrooms (fee €1), good meals (you can use paid parking coupons).

We stopped at the restaurant for a quick bite to eat. We had schnitzel with croquettes and smoked pork with potatoes. It was really delicious and reasonably priced. The staff at the cash register and in the waiting area were super friendly. We can definitely recommend it. You can park your caravan or trailer in the truck parking lot for one hour free of charge.

Charging money for parking and then for the toilet and shower is the bottom.

I had ham noodles. For about €11. The portion was huge. It would have easily been enough for two adults. The staff was super nice and friendly. The restrooms were very clean. You can redeem the voucher for using the restroom. There's a beer garden. Perfect. Parking right outside.

Nomad works the far left (constantly) and far right pillar. On the permanent left one you can always connect for free. How long this will last - I don't know. But you can use the freebie. And you don't have to drive into the parking lot. The pillars are to the left of the entrance to the parking lot. However, watch the left pillar. It can suddenly turn off by itself, and you won't be able to turn it on yourself.

I ordered a double cheeseburger in the small menu with fries and a drink for €14.49. It's not worth it. It doesn't taste good. The sauce was standard ketchup and mayo. The fries were kept warm and weren't good. I don't recommend it to anyone.

If you stand in front of the bistro for 5 minutes, you will be ignored but there will be three of you standing at the cash register and not say anything about the fact that you are just taking a quick half hour break and want to eat something small and have a coffee.

With a caravan towed behind your car, you can't refuel because you can't make the turn (due to the parked cars). It might seem like you can refuel at the truck stop, but they only sell (truck) diesel, even though the signs suggest otherwise.

This review specifically refers to the dining options. We've eaten at the restaurant several times now. Compared to many other restaurants along the highway, the value for money here is excellent. You pay a similar amount to restaurants off the highway, but you get large, fresh portions and there's a fresh salad bar. The only criticism is the toilet fee, which is €1, although it's a €0.50 voucher.

An asphalt desert reeking of peat and asphalt, no shade, no luni paradises, people park wherever they want. If you park, you might have trouble getting out. For 20 euros, it's a very steep price. For an autohof, it's very poor.

There are several exercise machines in front of the entrance to warm up) There is also a washing machine! (But I don't know if it's working now). Very friendly staff! Overall, I really liked it)

Disappointing experience!!! Unfortunately, not recommended. We didn't have high expectations, but we wanted to take a short break with our children. The children were interested in the coin-operated play equipment. Unfortunately, it wasn't clear anywhere that it only worked with a special card, even though it had slots for coins. After inserting the coin, nothing happened. We contacted the staff, who had apparently forgotten to activate the equipment. When we asked about it, a caretaker came over, clearly annoyed and unfriendly, telling us it was our own fault. He responded to our polite inquiry with a rude and loud voice, behavior that is completely inappropriate in a family-friendly environment. Conclusion: An experience you can avoid. Neither the treatment of guests nor the communication on site were satisfactory.

The shameless rip-off of truck drivers seems to have spread to the Homberg truck stop as well. After I couldn't find a space at the Hasselberg rest area on the way to Kirchheim, I thought this truck stop was worth a visit. I will definitely not visit this truck stop again in my truck-driving career. The operator charges €20(!!!!) per night for a parking space. Is that even possible????? Price gouging at the expense of the truck driver???? Not me, and I left the truck stop again.
