The Subway restaurant at Büchelstraße 44 in Neuss is one of those fast-food restaurants that has to consider many things – from production flow to hygiene in the service area. According to the official inspection on April 10, 2025, several hygiene deficiencies were found at this location: In the sales area, the floor next to the beverage refrigerator, the hand basin, and the refrigerated counter was contaminated with old food residue. The seals of the refrigerators next to the hand basin were slightly dirty. The cutting boards at the sandwich station were covered in deposits. In the preparation room, old residue was found in the corners of the floor. The floor beneath a shelf was dirty with dark deposits. The floor next to the dishwasher was also covered in old residue. The draining rack above the sink was partially corroded. The wheels of a transport trolley bore residual, dried-on contaminants. In the cold storage facility, the floor in the rear area was contaminated with old contaminants, and the evaporator grille was covered with dust, dirt, and deposits. In the staff restroom, the power plug for an under-counter appliance was unplugged at the time of the inspection, meaning no hot water was available. In addition, the required hygiene package with disposable towel and soap dispensers was missing from the hand basin. During the follow-up inspection on May 7, 2025, the identified deficiencies had not yet been remedied. According to the documentation, the hygiene deficiencies were then remedied in a further follow-up inspection on May 13, 2025. Conclusion: Subway in Neuss exhibited significant deficiencies during the spring 2025 inspection: dirty floors, corroded fixtures, dirty cutting boards, inadequate hygiene equipment in the restroom, and insufficiently cleaned equipment areas. On a positive note, all complaints were resolved during the second follow-up inspection. Guests are advised to pay close attention to the cleanliness of the floor, equipment surfaces, cutting surfaces, and the equipment at the handwashing stations during their visit.

I had a coupon for a free sandwich at all participating locations. I specifically checked to see if this location was participating, and it was listed. When I got there, I was met with a vague shake of the head and the announcement: "No, I don't think we do that." It's no problem at all, but: Just don't register. After one or two less-than-stellar experiences at Subway, the whole thing is over for me now.

The team at Subway is super customer focused, always clean, and does everything carefully. Great experience.

Sorry, but 1 hour and 40 minutes of delivery time is pretty tough! If you can't manage that organizationally, maybe you should skip it.

Vegan options, very friendly service

I had a great experience this evening at the Subway restaurant at Büchel 44 in Neuss. The food was incredibly delicious and of very good quality. A big thank you to Mr. Alireza and Memo for the warm welcome, friendliness, and excellent service. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant!

It tastes like the old hot cinnamon chewing gum, in short, like diarrhea broth

The employees are unmotivated and have no desire to serve. They don't even offer bags, even though they're for takeaway. The cookies were finished, and I wanted to buy some, and the employee said 5 minutes later, 15 minutes later, there were still none! Extremely poor service, never again.

Please note: sellers are hiding the fact that there is a profitable promotion! When, having already paid, you find out that you could have paid twice as much by adding a cupcake to your order, you have no desire to come back at all! Deceptive sellers will ruin the rating of a good cafe

I didn't notice the special offer sign. If I had included a cookie with my order, I would have paid almost twice as little. But the sellers didn't tell me about it. I feel betrayed.

The subway officially closes at 10 p.m. In the rain I walked 500m to the subway to enjoy a cappuccino. Unfortunately, I was turned away as a customer because the coffee machine was cleaned 2 hours (around 8 p.m.) before closing. This is poor service and not customer friendly. Damage to the image of the franchisor Subway!

Not hygienic… Hands with gloves are everywhere. The meat is laying there just like that… Guest of honour, Mozzarella, has a special place in the back office, it came as one layer for my sandwich as in the picture 😍

Essen: Lag da so rum Service: War am Telefon Ambiente: Hat den Fliegen gefallen Subway in a nutshell: man kommt rein, während der Bestellung klingelt das Telefon, Chef packt erst mal das Telefon mit den Handschuhen die gerade im Sandwich waren und man steht unbeachtet rum, während ungelogen 3 Fliegen auf dem halb-belegtem Sandwich 5 Minuten lang Party feiern, mit Limbo-Stange und allem. Da vergeht einem schon hart der Appetit. Wer so mit Essen umgeht, sollte nicht mit Essen arbeiten. Pfui.

Haben das Essen um 19.53 Uhr bestellt. Lieferzeit 1-1,5h. Nach über einer Stunde bewegt sich die Uhr nur noch sehr gemächlich nach unten. 6 Minuten vor Eintreffen, springt die Lieferzeit auf weitere 53 Minuten. Nachdem wir angerufen haben sagte uns der Mitarbeiter wie mögen noch etwas warten, der Lieferando Fahrer käme später. Die Subs liegen seit 21.20 Uhr bereit und warten auf Abholung. Hier wird tatsächlich vom Kunden erwartet, 2 Stunden auf sein Essen zu warten, um es dann kalt und durchgezogen zu essen! Eine Frechheit dieser Laden!! Früher war das Essen wenigstens gut, jetzt nach dieser Erfahrung nie wieder!! Nicht mal einen Stern verdient!

Nettes Team! Alles sauber! Kurze Wartezeit! Kein Vergleich zu anderen Subways in der Gegend.

Wir bestellen über Lieferando, die Bestellung wird entgegen genommen und Bestätigt. Die Lieferzeit läuft, 6min bevor es ankommen soll wird gecancelt und der Laden hat zu. Man könnte ja auch hingehen und die Bestellung erst gar nicht bestätigen wenn man das nicht mehr liefern will. Wäre kein Problem gewesen, aber so? Freut sich die Konkurrenz.

Ich hab nur Positives erlebt. Immer lecker und frisch, Personal freundlich. Komme regelmäßig.

Kleine, gemütliche Subway-Station am Büchel 44. Freundliche Bedienung und sauber. Das Essen schmeckt gut und die Preise sind Subway Standard. Alles in allem eine gute Location, um einen Imbiss einzuwerfen. Positiv auch die langen Öffnungszeiten.

Der Herr der meinen Sub belegt hat, war extrem lustlos/emotionslos drauf. Ansonsten alles sehr sauber.

Ich war gestern da und ich wollte mir ein Baguette genehmigen doch die Verkäuferin hat mich richtig geneeervt. Sie fragte die ganze Zeit was ich auf mein Baguette haben will. Als ob ich Mais auf meinem 30cm Ding haben möchte! Als ich meine Bestellung mit Freudentränen in den Augen entgegen nahm und mich umdrehte sah ich einen Mann der seiner ein 15cm Ding in den Rachen schob. Ich hoffe ihr wisst was ich meine😉 Deshalb die 5 Sterne sonst hätte ich nur 4 gegeben.

Mitarbeiter sehr nett. Nehmen aber keine Ticket Restaurant Gutscheine an, obwohl sie sowohl online als Partner gelistet sind (habe sonst auch nie Probleme damit in subways) und es vorallem auch an der Tür als alzeptiertes Zahlungsmittel aushangen ist.

Super freundliches Personal und echt leckeres Essen. Die Sandwiches werden immer in Ruhe und mit wirklich wirklich sehr viel Liebe gemacht. Tolle Auswahl an Zutaten, auch für die Veganer und Allergiker gegen Gluten unter uns. Also bei so einem Team fühlt man sich immer herzlichst willkommen. :-)
