Unfriendly staff, a complete disaster, I've never experienced anything like it in my life.

You can no longer pay with 50 euro notes after 6:30 pm, even though the store is open until 10 pm... perhaps that should be reconsidered.

Completely overwhelmed employees. They made almost everything wrong with the order (October 19, 2025).

The subway at the ZOB is not recommended because the staff is extremely unfriendly and hardly speaks German, let alone understands it

We ate there today and wanted a triple cheese dipper. At first, the staff didn't know what a triple cheese dipper was, but then they gave us a dipper with a slice of cheese and the sauce in it instead of the dipping sauce listed on the menu. So instead of a dipper, we got a wrap with a slice of cheese and sauce. Very disappointing. I wouldn't recommend it.

Salads and meat dried out. Never again. After craving Subway for the first time in days, I used the current coupons to get two Italian BMTs. As I was ordering, I noticed that both the meat and the salads were very dried out and no longer fresh. Because I was hungry and didn't feel like getting anything else, I decided to risk it anyway. Big mistake, because it didn't taste good at all. A stomach ache followed. The staff was nice, the decor of Subway stores isn't to my taste, but that's different for everyone. In the future, I'll prefer to visit a different Subway branch.

I've never really had any major problems, but yesterday, September 3, 2025, around 6 p.m., the man who made my sub was completely unfriendly at first, but the cover didn't come until I was ready to eat it at home. It would be best if you didn't sell your sub as a sandwich, but simply listed it as a whole onion for €12. Simply disgusting and poorly prepared.

I think I've only tried SubWay once before, many years ago, and if this is the level it will be a long time before it happens again. The buns on our Subs were soft and broken and there was not much food for many kroner. The fries were limp and lukewarm. Really poor food.

The staff was unfriendly, and the cedar cheese and tomatoes were missing. There were also no forks for the takeaway salad we bought. When we asked, they said there was nothing we could do and it wasn't their problem. They were just employees. Well, that's rather unprofessional.

I ordered the sub at the terminal, and then two more customers came in and ordered directly at the counter. After the orders were completed at the counter, both employees disappeared into the back kitchen. My order was only started upon request. The sub was partially cold afterward. The cheese wasn't melted, and the bacon was partially raw and inedible. I've been to Subway several times, but with each visit it got worse. The service and food today were the absolute lowest. I'd rather drive a little further and get better quality. Absolutely not recommended anymore. Using the restroom is also not possible. Since the restaurant doesn't have its own restrooms, you're supposed to use the restrooms in the cinema next door. However, due to too many incidents, the cinema no longer allows them.

Never waited so long for a sandwich

We were at Subway at the central bus station in Flensburg on June 1st around 9 p.m. Unfortunately, our visit was disappointing. We ordered a sub of the day, a wrap, and three cookies to go via the self-service kiosk. At the checkout, we also ordered three churros. It wasn't until the very end that we were informed that they were out of cookies. So, five cookies were missing in total, but we paid for them in full. My sub wasn't as requested either – ingredients like arugula and other extras were obviously missing and were simply replaced with whatever was left without asking. In the end, my sub consisted of just bread, cream cheese, meat, and fried onions. It's a shame – especially so close to closing time, a brief notice about unavailable ingredients or items would have been appropriate. The staff was friendly overall, but communication and service quality clearly leave room for improvement.

Terrible service. Today we wanted to order cookies and asked what flavors they had to choose from. The first response was "none," and then "smarties," even though they had all the flavors. Pure laziness, and that's anything but good service. In the end, when we asked for other flavors, they did have all the flavors...

We're back in Germany after 16 years and have been to Subway for the first time since then. I really have to hold back my review. The two girls behind the counter were really nice and helpful. We got a solid 6 for the food. Half was warm inside (well, warm was almost an exaggeration) and the other half was cold. All this for a price that doesn't justify it. Something that really interests us: Do the employees really get paid the tips that you can book on the screen? I don't trust this! Perhaps an employee can comment on this (anonymously). No sanitary facilities, no hand washing before or after. You won't be seeing us at Subway anymore! No comparison to the Subway of 15-20 years ago. What a shame!

Never again, everything broken, frozen, freezer burn and dirt everywhere….

I've been here many times, but I've never had a sub as bad as today. Ordered at the front of the terminal, with extra meat. The dude at the counter didn't even fill the scoop but 3 half full. Otherwise it will be filled twice or 4 times if there is extra meat. He also put my order in writing and still forgets half of it. He had to point it out to him three times. In addition, he was incredibly slow. Very very bad...

It really wasn't nice today, we are actually regular customers and otherwise satisfied. Today we ordered on the machines when the shop was empty, then we waited for 30 minutes because customers came in who ordered to take away, they were all brought forward when our order was ready, both subs were filled incorrectly and we had to wait again. Tables hadn't been wiped down and were totally sticky

The subs taste very good, but there is a recurring problem with one of the cashiers (glasses, brown hair tied up, slightly thick). She cuts the baguette bread so that it looks like a half moon, not cut properly at the front and cuts so oddly at the end that it is thin on top and thick at the end. The end piece gets so hard in the oven that you can't eat it anymore.

The coupons are absolute bullshit because they don't apply to children. Although it doesn't say anywhere, 1 coupon per person per day is valid and children are still excluded because it only applies to paying adults. If you get upset about it, the employees, who unfortunately speak very poor German, will get you very upset treated unkindly. Even though the food was good, we won't be coming back again. It was the third time we had trouble because of these stupid coupons and communication difficulties.

Ordering was difficult as there was very loud Indian music in the background. Cooked ham was unknown. Three helpless people behind the counter. I was very disappointed.

I just ordered half a tuna, the bread isn't toasted enough, the decor is terrible, meat everywhere and the vegetables weren't fresh either (tomatoes, jalapenos...). zero service, employees work without gloves. the worst thing is that they had 4 employees (enough) ;(

I ordered the Triple Cheese Footlong Dipper, I couldn't find much cheese. In addition, I ordered a cookie that looked like it had already been bitten off.

The sandwich bread became like rubber, which is unusual for Subway. As far as I have eaten at Subway restaurants, the bread is tasty and crispy. Although the tip was paid in advance, the waiter gritted his teeth and was dissatisfied with something, perhaps he would be better off without tea. Also no customer wc🤦‍♂️ You still have a long way to go before the Subway name, chebryte!

Good food, staff could be friendlier. Civil courage is very important here. A thirsty child can't even get tap water without having to pay for it. The cup without water was given because people begged for it. This behavior is pretty harsh

It was a really nice evening until I went Inside this subway , we ordered me and my wife , and then took a place to sit and it was very dirty the worker cleaned but he cleaned it very bad as if he dose not want to and then I sit and wait 20 minutes for my food because the workers were fighting in the kitchen and literally screaming at each other and I have heard every single bad,disrespectful word that came out of thier mouth , and one of the workers decided suddenly to give cookies for free for young underage girls which was even worse, both workers were very very unprofessional and very disrespectful

Bad subway in northern Germany! We bought 2 subs using the ordering terminals. We had to wait 30 minutes for these to be ready. Because orders were being processed at the same time, those who came after us but ordered at the front of the counter. System makes absolutely no sense. Bread was poorly topped, the bread fell apart and wasn't in the oven. The door was open the whole time, so the shop was cold. We'll check the whole thing again when the concept has hopefully been better established.

Hello everyone, You can't complain about the taste of the subs and even if the staff isn't overly motivated, I was always treated decently. What I just can't understand: why isn't more of the best cookie variety, White Chip Macadamia Nut, made available? It's really hard to understand why the owner doesn't notice that this variety is always running out, while the same others are always available. Ordered via Uber Eats yesterday, the food arrived cold (not lukewarm, cold) and the footlong cookie we had ordered was missing. Called several times over several hours, no one answered, only an answering machine. I can't say whether the food and service on site is better, but the answer can be guessed from the rest of the reviews...

If I could give 0 stars I would, honestly you can tell it's a shame...

This was my first visit to Subway. The employee didn't speak any German, which wasn't actually the problem... but there was no greeting and no friendly facial expressions on his face. The food was ok, but nothing special for me... the cookies were good...

Unfortunately, I had bad experiences twice in a short period of time. First I ordered half a sub of the day 2-3 weeks ago and was charged a full one at the normal price. When I complained, they said that the price was right and that nothing could be done. We ordered there online earlier and the request was accepted. Canceled 20 minutes later without explanation and the store is closed 25 minutes before closing time. Everything is very strange, the store is now taboo for us.

Unfortunately I ordered a 30cm sub and only received a 15cm one. It's also a shame that the employee didn't want to respond to my complaint... Well, maybe not the most customer-focused solution.

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience. Ordered via the ordering machine and waited 40 minutes for the food, as everyone who came in afterwards and went to the front to order was served immediately. Everyone who ordered through the machine was ignored. Tables were all covered in crumbs. After 40 minutes, food was carelessly thrown together so that you could reassemble it yourself. Unfortunately had a bad experience.

I have never experienced such a dirty shop with such incompetent, unfriendly staff. Staff throws garbage on the floor, bottles in the corner and puts my sub on the tray, waits for 1 minute I ask what he is waiting for, he replies "I'm waiting for another customer, otherwise it's not worth it" I thought I was losing faith away.

The manager Lenny is so rude and mean to employees. The poor employee had to clean the leftovers on his knees. WHILE HE WAS ON THE CELL PHONE. Then he hit on me just because I wanted a student menu. Sorry Lenny, it's really unbelievable that he's a manager

So overwhelm has a new name Subway. the store isn't properly clean, the staff is overwhelmed and the language isn't all that great either. Not recommended. Food is ok after queuing for 20 minutes at night.

Unfortunately, I found out that you can only use one coupon per guest. But hey, at least I get to use one again the next day. How nice :) Compared to BK or the big M, you do NOT have such restrictions there. You can use as many vouchers as you want. Logical, since the family is waiting at home and is also hungry + is happy about good offers. It's also funny that in a branch in Husum, where I usually order, they don't know about such a restriction. Actually a great shop, but this is absolutely unacceptable!

Subway "at ZoB" The late shift despite 10:30 p.m After work on October 22nd, still very polite, attentive and at work! Unfortunately I know it differently from other stores in FL! We were therefore very pleased with the polite service and the sub that was prepared as requested! Thank you again

I ordered take away, an employee swept and sorted things out. My order that I made at the terminal was asked again and it still ended up with onions. Bread completely sticky, so I've never had anything so ungodly at Subway

We waited 30-40 minutes for our food. There were only 4 people ahead of us. We almost missed our bus for this reason and that would have been our last. It's a disgrace that they work too slowly. We couldn't even communicate with them because they didn't speak German.

For the second time in a row, extra paid ingredients are missing. Some of the bread is wrong. The staff seems overwhelmed and there is hardly any knowledge of German. Unfortunately, with 20 people in line, you don't complain every time. The cleanliness in the store also leaves a lot to be desired. It looks like cleaning happens once a week. Food, when it's done right, tastes good.

Ordered from the machine. Normally, things should go quickly in a fast food restaurant. Leave a tip when you order. I waited over 40 minutes before the 4 subs were ready. Apart from me, there was only 1 other customer on site at the time of the order. All the people who came in were served first. Unfortunately the staff doesn't speak the way I would expect in a store. What I don't care about is etiquette (you and you as an example) all in all it's clean there and the food is cooled down according to the waiting time. Since I used to work at Subway myself, I know that it is a no-go that there is such a long waiting time. In other branches in other places, I've also had to wait 15 minutes, which is understandable given the high traffic. However, I was always given a small compensation along with an apology (be it a coffee or a cookie on the house). But that didn't happen here. What do they want to do if ten people order at the same time? Is it a flash mop for them? I will not enter THIS branch a second time.

Netter kleiner Laden. Haben etwas Warten müssen nach der Bestellung (waren paar Leute da), aber man konnte super sitzen und am Automaten bestellen. Plätze sind bequem und man fühlt sich nicht eingeengt. Brot war super getoastet und schwamm nicht in Soße - beste Sub seit langem!

Ist halt ein Schnellrestaurant...Zack zack fertig raus. Aber das Essen ist immer gut.

Auch wenn die Preise inzwischen stark erhöht wurden, wie fast überall, hole ich mir immer wieder gern mal das Sub des Tages und evtl. noch ein paar von den unglaublich leckeren Cookies! Unbedingt probieren! Gesünderes Fast Food bekommt man nirgendwo anders und es ist garantiert für jeden etwas dabei - auch in Veggie & Vegan Version

Sehr schöner laden und zuvorkommendes Personal nur zu empfehlen. Wenn man neu ist und nicht weiss wo man essen gehen soll kann man nichts verkehrt machen es ist für jeden etwas dabei

Die Angestellten bekommen es leider nicht hin, Bestellungen vom Automaten ohne grobe Fehler anzufertigen.

Guten Morgen Porgen, Sub schmeckte ein bisschen nach Erde merde (Erdogan), das was meine Uroma zur Zeit schmeckt meckt. Mitarbeiter war der deutschen Sprache nicht würdig mürdig (Menü 33 Ewro). Wir waren dort noch kurz vor Schluss (das was die Mitarbeiter am meisten hassen) weil wir nach einer langen Autofahrt noch mega Hunger hatten. Die Mitarbeiterin war deswegen aber nicht schlecht drauf und hat das Sub so belegt wie es sein soll, üppig und ordentlich! Alles top! Klare weiterempfehlend!

Was soll ich sagen, Subway halt. Als wir dort gewesen sind war der Laden leider insgesamt leicht schmuddelig - Tische und Stühle voller Essensreste / Krümel, Kühltheke sah aus wie ein Schlachtfeld mit nur noch Resten vorhanden - appetitlich ist was anderes. Mitarbeiter hatten wohl einen busy Tag hinter sich. Der Mitarbeiter der mein Sub belegt hat hatte selbst wohl noch nie eines mit Jalapenos gegessen, erst nachdem ich ihn gebremst habe hat er das halbe Kilo Jalapenos wieder heruntergenommen. Ansonsten in Ordnung. Sub war warm und knusprig. Subway halt.

Es ist schrecklich, eine halbe Stunde auf mein Bestellung zu warten. Ich habe über den Bildschirm bestellt, sie haben erst mit der Ausführung der Bestellung begonnen, als sie die gesamte Live-Warteschlange verpasst haben. Was ist das? Was für ein Service?

I eat subway since years in many countries, but this was disappointing. The computer to select the food completely robbed us of the subway experience. That thing is not subway, but makes subway interchangable with any fast food chain. The bread was not fresh, and although there was no interaction with staff, the body language of the staff clearly showed that he hates his job. Sorry, not a good example for a subway restaurant.

Sehr stark schwankende Qualität, sowohl vom Service als auch vom Essen her - Immer je nachdem welche Mitarbeiter da sind..

Das Personal war auch schon mal freundlicher. Ich kann meine Launen nicht am Kunden auslassen. Essen war lieblos und fad( Gewürze fehlten) ,denn sonst wurde immer gefragt, ob man Salz und Pfeffer wünscht. Terminal kommt man recht schnell rein, aber ich werde nicht noch einmal dort aufschlagen, bei dem doch so freundlichen Verkäufern. Sorry

Dreckiger Laden, obwohl "gerade gefegt" wurde, Tische sind nicht abgewischt. Der Service ist in Zeitlupe und nicht besonders. Es gibt kein Besteck.

Ich finde es unterirdisch, wenn erwartet wird, dass man Subway-Bestellprofi ist. Wenn ich zum ersten Mal hier essen gehe, brauche ich halt eine Erklärung wie es abläuft... Und dann schmeckt das "Fastfood" nicht mal besonders gut. Ich komme nicht wieder

Also eigentlich liebe ich Subway aber heute war echt nicht so toll. Zum Glück schmeckt das Sub trotzdem aber der Service ging garnicht. Der erste Satz des Bedieners war "Ich hab garkein Bock aber muss ja". Namen erspare ich jetzt. Dann wurde das Sub falsch zusammengestellt und mehrmals vertauscht sowohl bei mir als auch bei den drei anderen Kunden. Es wurde sich leider weder entschuldigt noch irgendein Rabatt gegeben. Also die einzig Kompetente war das Mädchen in blond. Die war lieb und hat die Fehler der anderen beiden ausgebügelt. Trotzdem sehr schade.

Wird leider immer schlechter! Bevor der Laden umgezogen ist war er Top. Aber nach dem Umzug ist leider sehr viel nicht mehr so schön Z.b. ganz hinten in der Ecke bei den Getränken riecht es seit der „Neueröffnung“ nach Urin Mitarbeiter vergessen leider oft Belege auf den Subs (Letztens fehlte das komplette Fleisch auf meinem sub) Subs werden nur gefühlt 10 sek aufgewärmt das die danach einfach nur wabbelig sind Wartezeit wird auch immer länger Heute habe ich über 18min auf einen Sub gewartet weil einer der Mitarbeiter es wichtiger fand sich um die Musik im Laden zu kümmern. Fazit: Subway war vor dem Umzug um einiges besser und nun leider nicht mehr.

Nie wieder. Das Personal hatte so eine schlechte Laune,unglaublich. Es war ziemlich voll und der Geräuschpegel dementsprechend hoch. Sie nuschelte im gebrochenem Deutsch. Ging mit den Lebensmitteln um als gäbe es kein morgen mehr. Für mich war es das erste und letzte Mal. 22€ habe.ich für ein 15cm und 20cm Sub bezahlt im Menü. Wahnsinn

Great experience! The restaurant was clean. The food was Well-prepared and fast. If possible, we would give an extra Star to the sandwich-guy who by surprise also spoke a very Nice danish. Thank you!

It's a good sandwich place. However, compared to the US you get less stuffing (meat, veggies). The staff is very friendly.

Bin aus Stuttgart, Lob an die 2 Mitarbeiterinnen heute. Die beiden Mädels hatten richtig Spaß bei der Arbeit und waren sehr Kundenfreundlich, sowie gesprächig. 😉
