Ihr habt ja nie genug zu essen. Es scheint, als ob euch jeden Tag das Essen ausgeht. Wenn das Essen ausgeht, sollten die Kellner die Kassierer informieren, damit diese Bescheid geben können. Ich finde es nämlich nicht in Ordnung, den vollen Preis für ein komplettes Menü zu bezahlen und nur eine Beilage zu bekommen. Reißt euch zusammen!

Die Kantine bietet ein solides Esserlebnis, das die grundlegenden Erwartungen an eine Militärkantine erfüllt, aber noch Verbesserungspotenzial hat. 🍽️ Essen: Die Speisekarte ist abwechslungsreich genug, um die meisten Geschmäcker anzusprechen, mit Standardgerichten wie Hähnchen, Pasta und Gemüse. Die Qualität ist durchschnittlich – nicht besonders schmackhaft, aber nahrhaft und sättigend. Die Desserts sind oft das Highlight. 👨‍🍳 Service: Das Personal ist freundlich und effizient, obwohl es zu Stoßzeiten etwas chaotisch werden kann. Die Wartezeiten bleiben in der Regel in einem angemessenen Rahmen. 🏢 Atmosphäre & Sauberkeit: Die Kantine ist funktional und sauber, aber es fehlt ihr an Atmosphäre. Sie wirkt eher wie eine Kantine als ein Ort, an dem man gerne verweilt. Die Sitzgelegenheiten sind ausreichend, aber nicht besonders bequem. ⭐ Endergebnis: 3/5 Sterne Ein guter Ort für eine schnelle und nahrhafte Mahlzeit, aber erwarten Sie keine kulinarischen Meisterwerke. Gut genug für den Zweck – nicht mehr und nicht weniger.

Update, 16. Mai 2025. Das Essen sieht zwar gut aus, schmeckt aber nicht. Ich hatte Frühstück, und für 4,40 $ ist es eigentlich ein Schnäppchen. Der Speck war jedoch hauchdünn und schmeckte wirklich komisch. Was mich aber am meisten geärgert hat, war, dass die Eier kalt waren – nicht zimmerwarm, sondern richtig kalt. /////Das Personal räumt das Essen 20–25 Minuten vor Ladenschluss ab. Kommen Sie nicht zu spät, da sonst möglicherweise nichts mehr da ist. Für einen so wichtigen Stützpunkt mit vielen wichtigen Persönlichkeiten ist die Qualität des Essens wirklich mangelhaft.

It's a DFAC, foods not bad, but it's not exactly good either.

Food can be okay, but with just how many people are REQUIRED to go here everyday, they either don't have near enough staff to support them all, leading to a 20-40 minute wait just to get to the food areas. Meal card sometimes works, sometimes doesn't, and the cost of a meal ranges from $5-$7 roughly on average. While I have these complaints, and they will take the majority of my thoughts, there's no denying that the staff do care. It's simply that the army does not, and has not made the choice (soon enough or otherwise) to optimize this building for the size of the force it is supporting. -20-40 minute wait time on average. -$5-$7 average cost. -understaffed and underequipped for group supported.

Worst DFAC in the Army, same food, different day. Chicken, crunchy rice, vegetables, chicken tenders, and expired cereal. The credit terminal is mysteriously always broken, only DFAC that experiences this issue. The staff have a DILIGAF look when they turn people away, hungry, because of their mistake.

I dont eat there on a regular basis, but their Thanksgiving feast was ON POINT!!!

Horribly inconsistent and inconvenient hours. The sign-in process changes from day to day as their meal card scanners either never work or are regulated to one line. You spend more time trying to just get in to the building than you do actually eating.

Hard workers providing different menu options to the military community, at an affordable price.

Honestly the chow hall has some.pretty decent food especially for about 6 USD you can't beat it. They have breakfast, lunch and dinner and you can also bring civilians here as long as they pay. They have food from.pizza, wings and burgers, to fish sandwiches, tacos and chicken They also have deserts and coffee. Not a bad idea to at least try it once, you may be surprised!

Way cheaper than eating anywhere else. Lots of selection, and if you leave hungry it's your fault. Portions are plenty large.

The breakfast here is always top-notch. If you are enrolled as a SIK (Meal Card Holder), all you need to do is insert your ID at the checkout to gain access to the food line. If you are not enrolled as a SIK, the prices here per meal are the lowest you can find in the area of Wiesbaden. The serving sizes are enormous, so bring an empty stomach.

I don't know what I'm spending 300 a month for honestly.

Best Army DFAC I've eaten at in over 18 years! Soldiers and Civilians who keep this place running, you're doing an outstanding job - keep up the great work!

Great food, immense selection, lots a veggies and drink selections!

Not too bad as Mess halls go. Only go for breakfast though. Good Omelets, bacon and hash browns not so crisp. Only issue is Turkey SOS, that is just GROSS, hence the 3 stars, how the heck can you make SOS with turkey.

Great cheesy grits. I asked for an omelette with no mushrooms. I received an omelette with mushrooms.
