Nice terrace overlooking the lake. About the food. The lasagna was tasty, but too expensive for such a small piece. My girlfriend ordered fish which tasted like it wasn't fresh. It tasted like it had been bought frozen from the store and then made. The tiramisu was delicious.

We spent two weeks at the campsite and visited both restaurants, Riva (Italian) and Strandwirt (Bavarian). We liked the Riva better because of the ambience and service. The food was very good for both. However, we would prefer the Riva again next time we are here. The Tiramisu dessert is particularly recommended and the pasta and pizzas are also very delicious. Finally, a fine grappa and the evening was perfect. A great thank you to the service team, just great...

After the unsatisfactory visit on the opening weekend, I wanted to give the Strandkurhaus another chance. On Tuesday we still weren't served after three quarters of an hour, so we left again. Today my elderly parents wanted to eat on the lakeside terrace in the evening, but I couldn't reserve it online because we needed a handicapped-accessible table. But it didn't work by phone either, because despite many attempts, no one answered the phone. Edit: Good luck in “misfortune”: Because we were obviously not welcome at the Strandkurhaus, we spent a wonderful evening in the sailing club’s restaurant. Good food, nice service!

The ambience of the restaurant is really nice and the view of the lake is great. We ordered pork fillet in pepper sauce with spaetzle. The food came very quickly before the drinks. The fillet was only covered with a hint of sauce, so we immediately ordered some more, which we only received after asking again. The food was carelessly prepared and the garnish consisted of a rolling cherry tomato. The spaetzle was only lukewarm but the taste was okay, as was the sauce. But the meat!! Tasteless and very dry. Apparently it had been pre-fried for a long time and then reheated in the microwave. Unfortunately not recommended.

You could eat the ready meals 🤮 Of course the chip shop would have been better!!!

Waiter overwhelmed and inhospitable, day menu cannot be ordered because there was a wedding the evening before. Waiters with strange excuses at every opportunity. Jägerschnitzel didn't come to the table hot, spaetzle tasted like dish soap. Salt and pepper only came after 5 minutes even though they were on the empty table next to us. We were only able to pay the bill after asking twice Ate here for the first and last time.

I have rarely had such a bad experience in a restaurant as I did at Riva. We ordered two pizzas and a children's meal. Our daughter had to wait over 30 minutes for her food even though we reminded the staff twice. Our pizzas were only lukewarm when we served them and of course they got cold because the food for the child didn't come. The staff was completely overwhelmed, which was also noticed by the other guests. Overall a very disappointing visit.

I would prefer to give two reviews written independently of each other. So in summary: We ate on the Bavarian side on Thursday, hadn't had such good roast pork, pancake soup etc. for a long time, service was top notch and the ambience was lovely. Then on Saturday we reserved a table on the Italian side and waited with great anticipation. Well presented with Bavarian and followed up with Italian rather satisfactorily. To anticipate this, the service staff was just as friendly and accommodating as on the Bavarian side. However, I would rather go to the Augsburger Puppenkiste to watch a Punch and Judy show than to eat. The young and, it should be emphasized, very friendly staff unfortunately paid more attention to the entertainment than to the drinks that had been ordered half an hour to three quarters of an hour ago, so that the food unfortunately arrived before them. In the meantime, we also got to talk to the people sitting next to us at the table and found out that they had also been waiting for half an hour for a piece of cake, which they finally gave up and went on their way. Unfortunately, the bruschetta we ordered wasn't crispy and the pizza dough was so bad, although the ingredients on it seemed to be of very high quality. The food itself was OK. Maybe the colleagues from Riva should get in touch with those from Strandwirt to get a few tips. As different as the food is, unfortunately so is the quality of it and the service.

Attention for all families: food arrives very late, toddler had to wait 30 minutes longer despite repeated reminders from the staff. As a parent, food gets stuck in your throat when your child waits hungry and asks for food every few minutes. For the first time, 0 stars for service would have been justified.

On Saturday evening we ordered pizza from the Riva restaurant (3 pieces) for around €50 and what can I say, the worst pizza ever. Anyone who sells something like pizza should stop doing this kind of job immediately.

Unglaublich, allein eine Terrasse auf einen Steg bauen, reicht bei weitem nicht für ein gutes Restaurant. Pizza ungenießbar, Boden schmeckte nach Pappkarton und hatte die Festigkeit einer Frisbee. Trotz scharfem Messer waren nur unter großer Kraftanstrengung Stücke herauszuschneiden. Nie wieder.

The lakeside terrace deserves 5 stars with the panorama! About the “Vegetaria” pizza: The dough was good, although a bit burnt. Unfortunately, the vegetables seemed to have been placed raw on the pizza, which resulted in them not being cooked and releasing water in the short baking time. The eggplant therefore tasted bitter. For dessert I ordered an affogato. The ice cream ball had already melted when served and walnut ice cream was used instead of vanilla ice cream; I found pieces of nuts in the cold espresso. Before we were allowed to pay, we had to ask for the bill three times. After half an hour the waiter came, but instead of a polite "I'm sorry it took so long", all he said was: "Oh man, what a rush, that can happen when there's a lot going on." This statement is unacceptable. In addition, there wasn't a lot going on and there were enough service staff.

Risotto tasted like rice pudding with mushrooms, extra charge for garlic or onions was too expensive, instead of pizza seasoning we got salt and pepper. The ambience on the terrace is a dream.

Price/performance ratio not given. The pizzas had a strange taste. The service was very good. The prices are too high for what you get.

No heart for animals There was a skinny, stray cat in the area around the Waginger beach house. We wanted to feed them but the Edekas were already closed. We asked the beach house for a piece of chicken or ham, which was thrown away but apparently everything was used. If you don't want to help animals, you shouldn't buy food!

The location is beautifully located by the lake and the waiters are very friendly. The food came very quickly, which made us a little suspicious. To be honest, I doubt that everything (e.g. bread dumplings) were homemade. The taste of the food was ok, but not a hit. On the Italian side the music was very loud and it was also annoying that some dishes were no longer available shortly before 6 p.m. It's a shame, it was ok but has more potential

There's always something going on here! Especially on Tuesdays in summer. Then there's music, crafts and food all along the waterfront!

We visited the new Italian restaurant Riva at the weekend and were thrilled. Super good stone oven pizzas and the waiters were very nice and friendly.

I ate in a Bavarian restaurant. The soup came 5 minutes after ordering and then the main course was to be served straight away. I asked for a 10 minute break, which at first seemed like a problem since the waiter had already requested it. But then it worked. All in all, good food at comparable prices. It just seemed to me like they were trying to push the guests through quickly so that the next guests could come. When the weather is nice, the view from the terrace is certainly magnificent.

We always enjoy coming here, even though we are over 40 kilometers away from Waging.

Went there today and got a place without a reservation. The table was a bit out of the way so that the service was completely overwhelmed in a full shop. More staff pays off (with good pay) After about 20 minutes we were able to place our order. Drinks came fairly quickly. A pork knuckle (recommended daily) and an onion roast came after 20 minutes. So far ok but... the pork knuckle had little sauce and the bread dumplings were sticky and simply nothing. The stilt was completely dried out and the coleslaw had very little seasoning. Since there wasn't enough sauce on the plate, I ordered more and it came surprisingly quickly. The onion roast was ok but it could be much better!! To my great surprise, we discovered that we had the same thick (bags?) of sauce🙈 with completely different dishes?! Yes, so in the end we waited forever until we could pay. The waiter apologized to us a few times and on the subject of sauce he nodded and brought us a shot of liquor as an apology. He still got his tip because it's the boss's fault etc.. we won't be going there anymore even though the location is of course great!

The concept of Bavarian or Italian food depending on where you sit takes some getting used to. The staff was very friendly, the location was really good right on the lake. Drinks came quickly and were really good. The food was average and nothing special. You can do it.

Had Italian food. The price is very expensive, but the food itself is good. Only the salad should be reconsidered (dressing, for example, could be better for the price). The location by the lake is great, the staff is courteous.

We were in the beer garden at the Bavarian Restaurant. The website promises something different than what you get on site. Onion roast was overpriced/with little taste and extremely thin meat. Conclusion: not recommended. Unfortunately we won't be coming anymore. Since we are local guests, a modern restaurant above the lido will be enjoying increased visits from us.

Also das beste ist die Terrasse direkt am See. Wenn der sehr extrovertierte Oberkellner nicht zu jung wäre, würde man glatt glauben er ist dem Bibione o.Ä. Der 80er entsprungen. Essen: essbar nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Was ich allerdings noch nie erlebt habe, dass Vitello Tonnato mit Salatdressing statt Thunfischcreme kommt. Pasta kam falsch, auf Reklamation sagte der Oberkellner dass die anderen aus sind und wir entweder die nehmen oder keine… Ja nee is klar! Na ja Campingplatzmonopol halt. Kennt man ja. Und das am schlechtesten bewertete Restaurant am Ort hier spricht ja für sich.

We were on the Bavarian side: First of all, the ambience is unbeatable. A lot has really happened here. :) Even though the hut was full, we still got a place today (on the holiday). We were immediately warmly welcomed and shown to our seat. The order was also taken relatively quickly. The food came about 20 minutes after ordering and was really excellent. My husband had the pork knuckle (very crispy and the meat was extremely juicy) and I had a Jägerschnitzel. Both well seasoned. I really can't understand some of the bad comments... "Our" waiter was very nice. Always happy to come back, you're happy when you have a restaurant like this right on your doorstep...

Great service, I waited at the ice cream stand for 20 minutes and then I left because I didn't want to wait any longer. In the future this restaurant will no longer have me as a customer. Bad luck! (I would stink)

The food was ok but not above average. The ambience with a view of the lake is of course always nice. What was completely substandard and unacceptable was the service, which wasn't just our case that evening. The waiter came briefly to order drinks then didn't take the food for 25 minutes. We had to wait 50 minutes for the food itself when the beer garden was about half full. In between there was no information and no one came again to be able to at least place another drink order. At least we won't be coming back, especially since what we were able to observe well that evening was the rule and not the exception

We wanted to have a nice meal as a family. We were quickly assigned a seat and given the menus. But that was where the positive experience ended. After we finally got attention from the waiter after 20(!) minutes of waiting and he accepted our drink requests, we wanted to order the food straight away - after all, we already had plenty of time to study the menu, the waiter turned away and served others first Guests who have been waiting longer than us. I have to say that we had to wait 20 minutes to place the drink order, but when the waiter changed the table in the middle of our order it was a disgrace and in my opinion had nothing to do with service. Unfortunately, we can't judge the food because we left the restaurant after the waiter's action. Other waiters, however, seemed to have a better handle on their area. Customers received drinks and food there in a timely manner.

We were guests today and had lunch on the lakeside terrace. The weather was excellent, the service was great and the food was good. What more could you want? I would also like to emphasize that the cakes (probably homemade) are an insider tip and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality.

The attempt to hide mediocrity behind a chic appearance on the Internet. But the price matched the offers. You have to get ice cream on the terrace and pay for it, it is not available as dessert on the menu 😏. To get to the clean toilet you go through a large hall where you can certainly have a good party. Yesterday the room was used to drape all sorts of clothes, cardboard boxes and other things wildly in the corners. But we had to make a reservation for that. Sorry, my expectations were probably too high. If you leave that out, the food is probably okay.

If there's too much going on, orders are forgotten or take over an hour. If you ask, you're made to look stupid, like "you can see what's going on here." It's a real shame...if you can only go out to eat when there are no holidaymakers and the weather is bad

The waiter who served us was unfriendly, impolite and obviously had no interest whatsoever. The food was at the table within 5 minutes and only seemed to be warmed up. The meat was cooked through instead of medium rare as ordered.

Nothing special, if this restaurant wasn't right next to a campsite, the shop would have been closed long ago. Food came after 5! minutes. How does it work? The waiter was a disaster, unfriendly and decisive. Unfortunately we felt very uncomfortable.

Great ambience! We were pleased that something new had finally happened in the restaurant after years. But unfortunately we were disappointed again. A certain waiter was very unfriendly and seemed annoyed with every order. We waited a long time for the food and it was cold and bad roast pork. We couldn't order any more drinks because there was no service. Empty plates stood at the table for a very long time and after an hour with empty glasses they still didn't ask if you had another wish. A pity! The self-service restaurant at the back of the beer garden was and still is the best

We are currently at the Hotel Eichenhof and like to go to the Strandkurhaus for dinner in the evening. Everyone can choose delicious wines from Italy and the food style Bavarian or Italian. The guys in service are having fun and that makes the atmosphere very pleasant. The guest should bring some time with them. That's why there's delicious food. I also think it's good that the boss works with us and can be seen at the table more often. Any complaint could be passed on directly. We're coming for dinner every day this week. The lakeside atmosphere is not everywhere here in Waging. But perfect here. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Ordered pizza to pick up from the Italian restaurant, service was very friendly and the waiting time was relatively short. The pizza itself was very strange and not really tasty. There was something white on the ham pizza, it was probably supposed to be cheese, but it didn't taste like cheese at all. Consistency like semolina porridge, no idea what that was/is. The Margherita wasn't any better, but at least it was without the white stuff. But the cheese is also not a taste experience. Price/performance not given, honestly the worst pizza we ate on vacation. In town, a few km further, there is a pizzeria that offers significantly more for less money.

Goodbye to you, As a native of Upper Bavaria, I was really looking forward to the Schweiner's German roast pork, Then the sauce came onto the plate and came straight into all of our faces, with our mouths open, A dark ready-made sauce with tomato flavor on our pork, And for the extremely moderate price, there was a thought in the background that the titanic was about to go down, but unfortunately the beer order was just a worm

We waited 1.5 hours for our food. Pizza was very dry and dark. We also had to wait a long time for drinks and payment. Bruschetta totally soggy. Tiramisu was delicious.

An Italian restaurant has recently rented space on the beautiful lakeside terrace. Food was okay but unfortunately not anymore. Music is too loud for my taste and disturbs the really great view and the peace that the lake radiates. The Italian flair doesn't go well with the really beautiful Bavarian campsite. With this review I am only referring to the Italian restaurant!

Were there today, July 23rd, 2024, to eat pizza. Pizza was only lukewarm, very few toppings and the ham topping was cold. Is not recommended!

Service and ambience right on the lake are very good. The pizza tastes ok. I've eaten better ones so I don't get full marks here.

We were very excited about the new restaurant and were not disappointed. The atmosphere is very nice, the staff was noticeably friendly and the pizzas were simply delicious. So thumbs up, we'll be back. Would like to add that we were there again. Last Sunday, had a great meal (seafood salad). A DJ was playing and the relaxed holiday atmosphere was just fantastic.

We've been there twice now. Once on the Italian side and once on the German side, always with 4 people so that we were able to get a good overview of the different dishes. Unfortunately, apart from the really nice atmosphere, I can't say anything good. Italian side: I can only praise the young and friendly waiters there! they are hardworking and consistently friendly. Unfortunately, as many others have reported, the food is really tasteless and absolutely overpriced for the prices quoted. Except for me and my pizza, no one was really full with the small portions. Not even the little one (W/8). We thought that was a shame. German side: Unfortunately it was even worse there. After the completely drunk waiter (7 p.m.) slapped the plates with his 2 alcohol in the kettle on the table after asking again after more than an hour, it became clear to us that the concept with small portions and high prices was also continued there. The little one wasn't full again, the sausage salad had probably been in the kitchen for a long time with its dried out cheese cubes and my onion roast (medium) was actually just well-done grilled meat with sauce. For us it is unanimously clear that this was the last visit there. It's a shame because the concept and especially the location are really something special. I can absolutely recommend it for a beer or Aperol on the terrace, but please don't come very hungry.

Nice staff and very good location right on the lake. Both pizzas were very burnt, but no one cared about that after we talked to them.

Finally good food in the Strankurhaus. Very friendly staff. Food very good, portions could be a little larger.

Update 2024: What used to be excellent is now not something that makes you want to come back. The service is not good at all and if a roast pork is served after 3 minutes, the result is clear: not freshly prepared and doesn't taste good either. My companions felt the same way. The service prefers to talk to each other rather than to the guests. Conclusion: Unfortunately, the change of operator has obviously changed everything for the worse // Update 2023: everything is fine. Food absolutely delicious and superbly prepared. The time slots that are allocated for eating a meal are not so pleasant. That's not hospitable. // SUMMER 2022 Hygiene and mask requirements are observed. Very tasty food, attentive staff. Very nice lakeside terrace.

We stayed at the Riva in the Italian section of the Kurhaus. Were absolutely thrilled. The risotto and pizzas were simply mega. Very nice atmosphere and great service. The waitresses were very friendly and absolutely in a good mood.

Nice atmosphere, both inside and outside. Staff nice. The quality and taste of the pizzas are actually not acceptable for the high price per piece of around €15... Dough was sweet, not completely baked, Italian herbs were missing, tomato sauce had no taste. Topping ok. Wouldn't eat pizza here again. I can't comment on the other dishes.

New tenant, DISASTER!! On Friday, June 28th, 2024 at the “Strandwirt”. First the only positive. The new terrace with the big green umbrellas and DJ is something special. But that was about it…… Food completely overpriced and only a relatively small selection. If the quality had at least been right, everything would have been fine. Prices are very high, but portions are very small. I had a roast pork. I've never seen two soooo small dumplings and the meat was also very manageable. Any roast pork from the furniture store is at least as good and only costs 1/3. Wiener Schnitzel with fries tasted good, but the portion was no more than a children's schnitzel in other restaurants. The waiter tried to be friendly, but attentive is something else. We didn't have the opportunity to order a second drink during our stay. BUT the guests are not stupid... Despite the warm temperatures and good occupancy of the campsite, the terrace was only half full. People just don’t let themselves……..

Friends, if you promote European Championship football, then you have to deliver. Cold beer and reliable technology are a basic requirement - that was Kappes this evening (29/6)... 😞

We visited the restaurant on June 20, 2024, a beautiful summer by the lake. We ordered roast crusts and were very dissatisfied, the portion was old, tough and dry. I have never had such a bad roast in any restaurant in Germany. We have been traveling with the caravan for several months and have been to many campsites

The pizza wasn't tasty. The waitress seems stressed and only argues among themselves. Nice view, but still not recommended.

Das Restaurant ist geteilt in Deutsche und italienische Küche. Wir haben uns für den Italiener Riva entschieden. Leider die falsche Entscheidung. Das Essen ist hochpreisig war aber geschmacklich weit unter den Erwartungen. Das beste war noch die Penne arrabbiata. Die Pizza war geschmacklos. Die zusätzlichen Beläge mussten natürlich extra bezahlt werden aber für 1.50 Euro erwarte ich mehr als 5 Ringe einer Scheibe Zwiebel. Dem Zander haben auch die Gewürze gefehlt und das Gemüse war nicht mehr frisch.Es wurde während dem Essen nicht nach Zufriedenheit gefragt. Eine Pfeffermühle stand nicht am Tisch aber man hätte sich eine organisieren können. Beim Abräumen wurden die Probleme angesprochen aber es gab weder eine Entschuldigung noch eine Reduzierung des Preises. Immerhin was das Personal freundlich aber mit der Aufgabe überfordert.

Since the change in management, the restaurant is no longer recommended. I was there last year and now again in June to celebrate my birthday with my family. Unfortunately it was completely disappointing and rather embarrassing for me. The food was lukewarm, the dishes were not seasoned or tasted poorly. I've never been served such bad dumplings in my life. In any case, I won't set foot in this restaurant again. I can only advise against it.

Restaurant RIVA (1 of 2 parts of the Strandkurhaus, rating only refers to that) has newly opened as a pizza restaurant. We were there when they had only been open for 6 weeks - if we hadn't been told this, you wouldn't have suspected it at all. Family-friendly professionalism absolutely perfectly mixed with a young, dynamic, motivated team, appetizers + pizza are top notch and prices are more than good for what you get. All wishes are catered for, child-friendly and dogs are allowed. We will be back!

We had dinner there. Very nice, new terrace. The food was good, but nothing exceptional. The condition doesn't work at all. If it were my restaurant, I would fire him immediately! When we arrived we were asked if we had reserved. Of course we did. Where did you make your reservation? You must know where? I answered: In the restaurant, we want to eat something. That was wrong. I should have said: On the German terrace. How should I know that? Well, everyone has a bad day sometimes. Unfortunately the same waiter when ordering. It couldn't be more unfriendly, when we asked if we could order something in addition to the main course, the answer was: You can read how it happens. No asking for more drinks, no asking for dessert, nothing. The service is nothing!

We immediately looked for a table on the lakeside terrace with a beautiful view of the lake. Unfortunately, the operation is not the fastest. We wanted to leave again but then another trainee came (?). After looking at the menu, we missed German cuisine. After asking, we were told that we were sitting on the Italian side of the restaurant and that we had to move under the umbrella on the building. And the kitchen isn't there yet, it doesn't start until 4:30 p.m. So the restaurant is open all the time! So we switched sides and ordered pork knuckle and beef juice goulash. Came pretty quickly too. What I didn't like about the knuckle was that it lacked the crispy layer of skin and looked very glassy. Meat was okay, but it had the impression of stored chilled knuckles that warmed up quickly. Just like the dumplings, warmed up and dry. The juice goulash had a sour taste and was more reminiscent of tomato paste ketchup. Dumplings like the other dish. We had it returned. The chef then came to our table and tried to explain to us that he had served over 700 dishes that morning and that he would not be able to make fresh dumplings for every guest. So for me the more guests the worse the food. All I would like to say about the ambience is that it looked a little better than in the beer garden with beer table sets. No tablecloths or attractive decorations. Cutlery in the beer mug in the center of the table - done. Here you should take a look at Italy, when you walk through the streets there are always inviting table decorations! So conclusion: not recommended. It's better to drive a few kilometers to a local restaurant!!!

Wanted to have a drink outside first and eat inside later. The answer from the waiter “It couldn’t be any more complicated than that”. That should have given us something to think about! The food was ok, small portions and too expensive for that! The goat cheese was cold, I've never had it before! For 2 halves of goat cheese, a few small pieces of salad €16 is almost outrageous! The crowning achievement was; The waiter gave the impression of being drunk and was rude. Cutlery was constantly flying onto the floor when clearing and when it came to cashing it took ages and many attempts before he managed to collect. The second waiter was very nice and apologized to us several times, even though he couldn't do anything about his colleague's rather strange performance.

If someone likes Bavarian cuisine, then this is the place for them. Nice ambience, indoor area as well as the seats directly on the lakeside terrace. I have rarely had such a perfect dish. Mock medallion, 1 A pink fried, well seasoned, hand-scraped spaetzle, light and fresh, a perfectly combined sauce, with a little pepper and a very slight spiciness, even the cherry tomatoes. Everything beautifully presented, on large white plates, at a price of €18.90. Reservation required on weekends and in the summer season. The waiters are also on the ball, obliging and super friendly. The view from the restaurant over Lake Waginger into the mountains is priceless. Bavaria in its purest form.

As locals, we've been there several times, be it on New Year's Eve (menu) or any other time, but what happened there yesterday is as bad as anything in Waging. I thought the popular beer garden near Edeka was already at the bottom, but yesterday's experience on your terrace topped everything. Food: Currywurst with fries. Except for the fries disaster. Asked for mayo several times, never came. The same applied to the schnitzel. Cranberries never came, despite repeated requests. Ordered wheat beer. Never came. When asked, they said: “Hello, when it comes, it comes.” Own You should have given the food to the swan swimming by at the latest. Operation completely overwhelmed. He couldn't use the card reader, so one of our group ended up going to the local bank and getting cash. The waiter blamed the technology and threatened to hit the device. Curious. The second star goes to the ambience. As Wagingers, we think it's the best place to eat outside. So it's a shame that you can't seem to eat there anymore. We were there in the spring and the menu, the food and the service were 372846283648 times better. Recommendation yes, but not in season. Update: Beach course house still snot. Pizzeria bottom drawer. That's not pizza. This is soggy dough with a loveless topping. It's better to go into the village, there are good pizzerias and better restaurants. The service team was absolutely top. It's a shame that the young waitress was close to tears because the reviews never stopped. We waited 2 hours + for our pizzas and when they were finally served, we were amazed. Loveless, greasy and greasy pizzas were in front of us and the taste was not acceptable. The service team handled the criticisms of many guests with confidence, was always friendly and was ashamed of the catastrophic management. It's a shame because the staff told us they enjoyed the job. Very nice location, but we definitely won't eat there again.

We were on the lakeside terrace and ate delicious pizza etc. The service was great, the food was delicious and the view was fantastic. The only disadvantage was the through traffic from the lake promenade with bikes and scooters. 👍🤓

We recently visited the restaurant at Strandkurhaus Waging, which offers German and Italian cuisine. Unfortunately we were disappointed with our visit. We decided to pick up a pizza, but unfortunately the taste wasn't convincing. We expected better quality, especially given the high prices. The ingredients didn't seem particularly fresh and the preparation wasn't optimal. The ambience of the restaurant and the location on the beach are appealing, but that cannot make up for the culinary weaknesses. We hope that the restaurant improves the quality of its dishes so that the beautiful views and pleasant ambience are also accompanied by a corresponding culinary experience. **Positives:** - Nice ambience and good location on the beach - Friendly service **Negatives:** - Taste of pizza disappointing - High prices for mediocre quality Overall, we hope to see an improvement in the quality of the food as Strandkurhaus Waging has a lot of potential to be a great place for a dining experience.

Four of us had dinner on the last evening and were unfortunately very disappointed. We specially reserved a table in the inn, but unfortunately it doesn't have much of an inn (the menu is very select and some of it is not available). Unfortunately, service was not good, the food was put down and then served to the table. Unfortunately, it was cold. The “Wirtshaus” is run together with an Italian restaurant. Accordingly, we experienced different service. There was champagne at the neighboring table and we didn't have the choice of whether to sit inside or outside. Therefore unfortunately not recommended.

Restaurant Riva: Conclusion tourist booth, minimum stake and maximum profit. We had to wait 1h:45 for our pizza despite having a starter. Every pizza delivery or ready-made pizza in the supermarket that I know of has a better pizza. Positive: The service tried to save what could still be saved. The best thing here is the ambience right on the lake.

We were really looking forward to the pizza, but it wasn't tasty. It was soggy and the salami and ham were carelessly thrown on top and there was too much cheese.

Were there for lunch, the service is good, the noodles taste good, but for a hollow tooth, you won't get full. The pizza is mediocre, could be a lot better.

We've eaten here a total of 3 times now and to sum it up: "Too expensive and mediocre food. Unfortunately one of the waiters was also very unfriendly but the location is good"

Very unpleasant, we were initially spoken to stupidly when we wanted to sit down! That's not possible as a paying guest!!! We will never go there again, we were treated very humiliated!!!

"RIVA" We were really excited about the restaurant, but unfortunately we have to say that there is still a lot of room for improvement. The service is sometimes still very unstructured, but that may change over time and is due to the beginnings. The staff itself is nice, the restaurant is really nice inside, the terrace could use a little more attention to detail. Unfortunately, the food was the crux of the matter. Unfortunately, considering that the pizzas are anything but cheap, they weren't really that good. Too soggy, far too much topping and the desserts weren't great either, tiramisu for example was too runny. It's a shame, we were in such good spirits. Especially at these prices, unfortunately the ratio doesn't work here, and the lake alone doesn't help either. I also see it as rather critical for the high season, especially in terms of organization.

We celebrated our wedding in the Strandkurhaus. We were well advised right from the start. The meal was excellent. We didn't lack anything. It was a very successful and great evening.

Recently ate at "Riva" (Italian food in the beach spa house). The pizza averages 16 to 20 euros. If the ingredients were priced commensurate with the quality, this review would not have been necessary. Instead of salami, Zervelatwurst was served on the pizza and the pizza was soggy overall, but quite well topped. Not worth the high price though. The "homemade" tiramisu tasted so much like artificial almond bitter flavor that it was barely edible. The consistency was fine. Maybe you should decide here whether you actually offer alcohol-free tiramisu, without artificial flavors or if you use amaretto with alcohol. This option was just disgusting and expensive. The service was friendly and the view was really nice. Unfortunately, you also expect good food. Please do better!

The view is the only good thing, the reception outside by a very nice young woman was good, then the waiter came, a very clever job, totally wrong, the food was nothing, please don't confuse it with the Italian Riwa, this is about Bavarian cuisine in the same Restaurant Press I don't understand Cordonbleu schnitzel from the fryer, we would all pay a little more for good quality, it's a shame 👎

We were at the newly opened Riva at the weekend and absolutely loved it. The rooms have been beautifully converted and beautifully designed. The reservation went really well and we received a friendly welcome. The menu has many great Italian dishes, from pizza to pasta, risotto and fish, everything is there. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly and gave us very good advice on choosing the dishes and wine. All in all, it was a wonderful and delicious evening that we would like to repeat if we get the chance!

Unfortunately the food is nothing. The fries with the schnitzel were only lukewarm and cold after a short time. Instead of a shandy there was a light one. We waited almost 45 minutes for our food and it wasn't busy. The question about dessert was answered in the negative. On the way out we looked at the menu again and there was dessert!!! It doesn't actually work because everything runs through the same kitchen and you want too much. I really don't want to hear anymore, we're just getting started, or there's a lack of staff. I think they've just overreached themselves and if it continues like this everyone will only come once, but if that's the goal...

Unfortunately that was nothing ;) We had booked a table after the reopening in advance of Easter. Staff was friendly. Unfortunately, despite the nice weather, we couldn't sit on the terrace. The reason was too few staff. Ok preseason. Drinks came quickly and were reasonably priced. The menu is very clear, actually a good sign. But I would personally complain about what came to the table, even in the snack bar. The salad as a starter was forgotten. The schnitzels were swimming in fat and the sausage salad was “refined” with grated cheese from the bag. The children's food wasn't any better either. All in all, the food didn't match the very pleasant information on the homepage. Positive, the fries weren't bad. Everything returned and drinks paid for. Location is great. Rest can be expanded. But the season is just starting.

We had dinner at the Strandkurhaus during our stay at the Wagnis am See beach campsite. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait a short time. There was nothing special in the waiting area. They might have been able to offer us something here. Then on the square the atmosphere was very nice and the service was quick. The food was really very good. Price/performance was right here. It could have been a little friendlier, but overall it was fine. We would still come back.
