A large pot of coffee with a delicious piece of cake and cream for €5.90. Plus fast, friendly and courteous service. The restaurant is anything but child-friendly. Many parents think that their spoiled golden pieces can do anything. Therefore, if these are thrown out - that's a good thing.

Despite the hut being full, great service and good food. But you should make a reservation during the holiday season.

The food was very good and plentiful, the price was ok for being close to the beach, the young service was rather listless but the rest of the team was very nice.

Food was delicious. But the staff seemed slightly overwhelmed! Drinks were forgotten and only brought when asked.

The fish sandwich we ate was prepared completely carelessly. We are disappointed and will no longer get fish sandwiches there. The restaurant, on the other hand, is absolutely great.

Had dinner again at the Strandhus. The cod on a bed of savoy cabbage (I opted out of fried potatoes) was delicious, everything cooked to perfection and served warm. We got stranded here by chance last year, but this time we headed straight for it. In the evening you should make a reservation if you want to sit inside, there would be enough space outside. Great selection for everyone. For us of course fish!!!

The service is very friendly and quick. Unfortunately, this also gives you a bit of a feeling that you should leave quickly ;-) However, the price-performance ratio is very good for the location! They are also flexible when it comes to redesigning the dishes and love children. And liked it!

Very nice staff, the food was also very tasty. We were regulars at the snack bar there while on holiday. Unfortunately there are only 4 stars because one day there was a dirty glass (lip prints from the previous person) which is kind of bad, but otherwise everything was great 🏝️🫶🏻 good luck

On our first day of vacation we chose this restaurant because of the very good reviews and unfortunately we were disabused of it. For example, we once ordered chicken cordon bleu and what we got was something you could have made yourself at home. Frozen meat pressed into shape with canned peas which is extremely disappointing. Pesto pasta even worked and the cod itself was okay too. For this high rating of the restaurant, the result was simply devastating. No recommendation. Better to go to the neighbor.

We were served, but there was no capacity for special requests at this point in the season because the kitchen staff were “too frustrated.” We were informed by the service staff that no special requests from guests will be accepted. I find it sad when you are treated like that on vacation.

Of our 9 stays, we were in the restaurant for 6 of them. Closed for 2 days which is perfectly fine and away for a day. A big compliment to the kitchen, everything tasted delicious. A special compliment to our waitress in the front area of ​​the terrace. It was a great pleasure to be served by her; we really liked her nice, friendly and quick manner. Thumbs up and all the best for the future.

We used the outside terrace when the sun was nice

Had booked a table for 5 people at 6 p.m. It worked well and we got our table. 5 minutes later the 2 guests from the neighboring table came. The waitress brought the menu to the two people and took the drinks order. In the meantime we waited and looked around. The drinks were brought to the neighboring table. You could say it was hectic and everything was kind of in disarray. So we continued to wait until the waitress noticed us. We were given the menus. Later we were able to order our drinks and food. After a while some of the food came to the table, but no drinks yet. The children were given something to paint. When I asked if I could get a schnitzel instead of a steak with the steak ou four, I was told no, which was the first time in the restaurant, as it was possible in all other restaurants. Ok so I took a cordon bleu. Unfortunately, it turned out to be frozen, just like the vegetables. Friendliness Service and processes should be optimized a little, then you will certainly be able to cope with the stress better. Despite the great efforts at the end, there was still a decent tip. Lots of potential especially because of the location right on the beach.

Nice little restaurant close to the beach with delicious (plentiful) food and very friendly staff.

Without a reservation (inside) you rarely get a place to eat. The outdoor area is free to use. The food is delicious and you don't have to wait long.

Unfortunately, despite the nice service and attractive atmosphere, I can only give it 3 stars. I had to compromise on the pork schnitzel with cream mushrooms. The portion itself is sufficiently large. The frozen schnitzel wasn't drowned in sauce either. The breading could have been a little crispier and I would have expected a little more cream in the sauce and fresh mushrooms.

We were invited to the HZ celebration. The table was so beautifully set and the food was on point. We were all happily looked after. There is a lot of passion in this beautiful restaurant! We'll be back soon!!!

Located directly behind the dike, 1 minute to the beach. Parking directly at the restaurant. It couldn't get any better. My family always loves eating at the Strandhus. Whether it's Christmas dinner, after a New Year's walk on the best stretch of beach on the Baltic Sea. The location of the restaurant is perfect and invites you to linger. And then the cherry on top is a visit to the boss, Petra Burmeister of the Standhus.We are always surprised by the extensive offering.It is always a culinary orgasm.The portions are generous but well balanced.Every time we ask ourselves how they manage it.5 stars from my family 🌟 The staff is very kind and courteous. Every luxury hotel would definitely like it. Keep it up and for us you are the 1 in Graal Müritz

Thanks for the nice welcome even though we just wanted a drink! Very nice atmosphere, loving details. Nice menu with apparently good value for money. Allergenic additives are well described on a separate page and labeled in the dishes! Pleasant, clean toilets at ground level. We will definitely come back for dinner.

This was our first time in Graal Müritz and on the recommendation we went to the Strandhus! The owner was there herself and warmly welcomed us. The service was super friendly and the food was as if “mom” had cooked. Totally recommended! Thank you for the wonderful time!

The food is unbeatable and the waitresses are very attentive and nice. Price/performance ratio is okay. We always like to come back. Beach is nearby and completes it. Whether it is full or empty, it is always of great quality. Keep it up :)) You are the best and always maintain the same quality and quantity.

I can recommend it to be eaten very tasty

Lots of empty seats inside, all reserved. We arrived at 4 p.m., the tables were reserved at 6 p.m., so a whopping 2 hours of eating time for us and others. Tables are reserved, they replied, so if they don't want our money...we'll go back. Actually almost outrageous. You want to support the local economy despite the high prices and are simply turned away. Everyone seems to be doing well.

It was the first restaurant on our vacation and unfortunately we didn't eat there again. Seasoned meat was very pureed and rather mushy, few pieces of meat. Pork steak was fried twice dead, very tough and dry. But the crowning glory was canned mushrooms. My pike perch fillet was good, but in my opinion the Mediterranean vegetables were also a finished product and unfortunately the taste was not my cup of tea. The service was very friendly and attentive. Price-performance is simply not right for us.

We were totally thrilled. Lunch was very tasty. I had potato casserole with salmon, spinach and gratinated with cheese. Delicious. You can also sit outside very well and you are immediately on the beach.

I've been staying at the Strandhus at least once a year for 20 years. There was a time when I didn't feel particularly welcome, so I almost didn't go again. Luckily I didn't do that. The food at the Strandhus is always delicious, and I and we were always greeted and orders taken quickly. The service staff is simply incredible: warm, funny, with tips and recommendations about the menu. In terms of price it is absolutely reasonable. I advise everyone to go here when staying in Graal-Müritz. BUT PLEASE RESERVE IN ADVANCE! The places are almost always fully booked!

The food was very tasty and filling. What's particularly striking here is that everything was freshly prepared (no unpleasant aftertaste after the meal). The dessert was also very rich and tasted extremely good (see picture, chocolate cookie cake with after eight chocolate). The service was absolutely wonderful. Super delicious food there. Only at the herring full meal there were only 7 herrings. Therefore two stars 🌟 deduction.

Despite previous praise, the Strandhus restaurant could not meet our expectations. The food was average at best, but tended to be greasy and disappointing. The fried potatoes turned out to be soggy and dripping with oil, while the fish breading was far from crispy. The vinaigrette on the cucumber salad tasted way too sweet. The blackcurrant spritzer was served unrefrigerated, although its taste was pleasant. The waitress didn't leave a good impression because she seemed cold and often came too close to the guests, which posed the risk of droplet infection. She also repeatedly urged people to order quickly because the kitchen closed at 8 p.m. In terms of prices, Strandhus has increased significantly in 2024, with many dishes exceeding the €20 limit. Even simple drinks such as 200 ml of fruit juice cost just under €3, which is perceived as excessive. This cannot be explained by normalizing the sales tax rate to 19% and inflation alone. A possible solution could be to reduce the size of the portions, which are usually too generous, in order to improve the price-performance ratio. Despite this, the restaurant still seems to be busy, perhaps due to the guests' holiday bonus (you don't look at every penny when you're on holiday) and its relatively remote location.

A big thank you to the entire Strandhus team. The food was again super tasty 😋 and the service was great. We're already looking forward to the next time.

Food delicious and service very pleasant

This was our second time eating in this restaurant. The first time it was very nice and very friendly. The weather was so nice at the end of February and we wanted to sit outside, apart from the fact that we didn't get any cushions, we had to order our food inside, we didn't get a menu for outside and we were then allowed to bring our dishes back straight away. Nicely enough, the tablet was left there. The food was very tasty and that outweighs everything...we will try it a third time but still never in season.

It was still too early for a real meal, so we decided on ice cream - unfortunately a rip-off! Ice exchange not possible, even though it wasn't stressful. Eggnog was then served, only there was no one to be seen, but it was expensive. Lots of cream, little ice cream, not recommended at all. We were probably just really unlucky with the choice of food and our service staff

If you like frozen food from the supermarket or don't want to prepare it yourself, this is the right place for you. Food costs around 20 euros and is heated fresh from the box in the microwave. Unfortunately, this is only confirmed by the rude waitress after the meal.

We reserved a table for 6pm/6:30pm as we didn't know if we would be able to make it at 6pm. When we arrived at around 6:25 p.m., the waitress told us that our table had already been given to someone else because she assumed that we wouldn't come again because her book said that we had reserved for 6 p.m . We then left speechless. We then had to celebrate my son's birthday somewhere else, but that wasn't really a bad thing as we found an adequate replacement where it was really nice. Still, it's a real shame!

We reserved a table at short notice by phone and were then warmly welcomed in the restaurant. The service was great, the atmosphere was correspondingly cozy, especially warm in the cold season and we felt comfortable. The portions are relatively manageable, there were few fried potatoes, the chicken fillet was almost raw and the cream mushrooms unfortunately did not contain fresh mushrooms but conventional ones from a can. For almost €23.00 (including a side dish change of €2.00 because it was chicken instead of pork) I expected a little more. Nice place, but the food is just average. In any case, the inn has remained true to its line. Hearty food and fried potatoes can be found everywhere in the restaurants in Graal Müritz and the surrounding area 🤷‍♀️.

Unfortunately you have to give one star. After today's experience, none would be appropriate. Four of us went in, our companions were able to order something. We were overlooked, which can happen in hectic times. When we asked that we would also like to order something, one of the waitresses became really rude and made fun of my husband. The icing on the cake was the words: If you don't like it, you have to go somewhere else. Don't worry, we will do that too. Edit: Even when we were asked if we belonged together: the guests who STANDED behind us were served in front of us.

Schöne Einkehrmöglichkeit nach einem Spaziergang durch das Große Ribnitzer Moor. Auch guter Startpunkt, da gleich in der Nähe ein Parkplatz ist.

Sehr gutes Essen, Prima Personal.

Ein sehr schönes kleines Restaurant. War dort schon mal vor einem Jahr. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Es wird auch für Laufgäste z.B. Kaffee aus Togo (Coffee to go) 😉 angeboten. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Wie immer sehr leckeres Essen. Update Januar 2024: -Personal immer noch sehr nett -Portionen sind spürbar kleiner geworden -der Tisch war klebrig und voller Krümel Die Qualität des Matjes hat nachgelassen.

Das Strandhus ist eine schöne kleine Gaststätte, die man entweder auf dem Weg zum Strand besucht, oder aber wenn man durchgepustet den Strand verlässt und noch was essen oder trinken möchte. Man wird dort sehr herzlich empfangen und der Service ist richtig gut. Das Personal ist schnell, super freundlich und das Essen hat lecker geschmeckt. Klare Besuchsempfehlung, gerne wieder!!!

Immer nettes aufmerksames Personal (gehen auf Sonderwünsche ein, da meine Tochter eine Lebensmittelunverträglichkeit hat)! Leider musste ich hier Gäste erleben die jeglichen Anstand verloren haben, kein guten Tag, kein Bitte, kein Danke, kein auf Wiedersehen sondern ich will, ich will, ich 😢😢! Ich wünsche der Crew des Strandhus immer nette Gäste! Bin kurzfristig mit meinem behinderten Sohn nach einem Strandspaziergang heute Mittag auf eine heisse Schokolade eingekehrt ohne Reservierung, bekam einen Platz am Tresen! Leider musste ich feststellen das mit dem neuen Jahr einige Gäste ihre Höflichkeit im alten Jahr vergessen haben! Es gab für Heissgetränke ausser Haus eine kleine Schlange! Mit einmal brüllte ein Mann los und belegte das Personal, er wäre übersehen worden (Nebenbei wurden aber auch die Gäste mit Reservierungen begrüßt und nach ihren Wünschen gefragt! Alle Gäste schüttelte den Kopf! Die Bedienung wies den unmöglichen Gast darauf hin, daß sie die vorhergehende Bestellung fertig machen muss (waren die Gäste vor ihm)! Ich kann die Bedienung verstehen das sie das Paar drauf hinwies, das sie auch gehen können! Servicekräfte egal wo, sind kein Abfall wo man drauf rumtrampeln kann, sondern Menschen die man auch mit Respekt behandeln sollte! Ich wünsche dem Personal im Strandhus nette Gäste das ganze Jahr!

Seit 10 Jahren trinken wir in dieser Gaststätte während unseres Neujahrsspazierganges einen Glühwein. Mit einer Unfreundlichkeit, welche ihresgleichen sucht, wurden wir vor allen Gästen gemaßregelt. Grund dafür war die Nutzung von Sitzkissen welche im Außenbereich in unverschlossenen Kisten gelagert waren. Nach dieser umfangreichen Belehrung ist uns der Appetit auf Glühwein vergangen und wir gingen ins benachbarte Büdchen, in dem wir sehr höflich bedient wurden.

Leckeres Essen und ein sehr guter Service

Wir wurden sehr nett begrüßt. Trotz voll besetztem Restaurant wurden wir von einer sehr netten Bedienung sehr schnell mit Getränken versorgt. Das Essen stand 15 min nach Bestellung auf dem Tisch. Es war alles frisch, lediglich die Kroketten waren TK-Ware. Es war alles gut abgeschmeckt und die Portion war großzügig. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Fazit: sehr zu empfehlen und ideal gelegen für einen Verdauungsspaziergang am Strand. Wir waren nicht das letzte Mal dort.

Ich habe nur Kaffe und ein Stück Pflaumenkuchen gehabt. Der Kuchen hat wie selbstgemacht geschmeckt, was er aber nicht war. Das Personal ist mega aufmerksam und super nett. Ich komme gerne wieder. Die Preise sind okay.

Für einen kleinen Zwischenstop beim Wandern oder Radfahren ideal. Nettes Personal und leckeres Essen.

Gutes und preiswertes Essen in angenehmer Atmosphäre mit einem super Service, was will man mehr. Gehe ich gern immer mal wieder hin.

Sehr schöne Lage, gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir haben dort Mittag gegessen. Es war 'ok', ich denke dass es eher zum Kaffee und Kuchen geeignet ist. Auch hier ist das freundliche und aufmerksame Personal zu erwähnen.

Service sehr gut, das Essen nicht ganz so. Es gibt eine gute Auswahl, die Portionen sind mehr als ausreichend, es ist aber viel Convenience dabei. Eigentlich auch nicht schlimm, wenn diese entsprechend angepasst und "veredelt" wird. Ungewürzte und ungesalzene Bratkartoffeln kann man noch nachwürzen. Bei Kabeljau und Wirsing z.B. ist das schon schwieriger. Das Cordon Bleu ist damit leider fast durchgefallen. Also bitte bringt den "eigenen Geschmack" rein und dann passt auch der Preis. So war er etwas hoch.

Ich bin wirklich sehr zufrieden. Wir waren zweimal da. Beim ersten Mal ohne Termin. Da haben wir leider nur etwas trinken können, da wir zu spät waren. Beim zweiten Mal hatten wir vorher reserviert und konnten die gute Küche genießen. Vorab sprach und das Ambiente an. Es passte einfach mit dem Schiffsthema sehr gut in die Region. Am Anfang dachten wir, dass das Lokal recht klein war aber hinterher waren wir doch erstaunt, dass es doch recht groß war. Zudem war das Lokal an beiden Tagen gut besucht, was für mich immer ein gutes Zeichen ist. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist vollkommen ausreichend und es war sehr lecker. Die Tomatensuppe hat gut geschmeckt und auch der "Pullt Beef Burger" hat gut geschmeckt. Auch meine Frau hinsichtlich der Gänsekeule war sehr angetan. Diese war klassisch mit Rotkohl und Klößen zubereitet. Die Chicken Nuggets waren auch sehr lecker und sogar selbst gemacht. Damit habe ich nicht gerechnet und meinem Sohn schmeckte es auch. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und umsichtig. Vielen Dank für Ihre Gastfreundschaft.

Zwei toll und nette Kellnerinnen Die Frauen haben sogar gesungen obwohl das Haus voll war. Man hat gesehen und gespürt das sie Spaß bei dem haben was sie machen. Immer ein Lächeln und nette Worte.Das mittagessen war hervorragend und super frisch.

Hätten besser was anderes suchen sollen.Vom Menschen Freundlichkeit nicht zu reden!!!Ich denke sollten Bockwurst Brötchen verkaufen.

Leckeres Essen, nette Bedienung, Preise i.O.

Wir kamen unangemeldet an einem Sonntag Abend, alle Tische waren besetzt. Trotzdem hat die Bedienung uns sofort einen Platz zuweisen können. Besonders begeistert hat uns der super schnelle Service, sowohl Getränke als auch Essen kam in Windeseile. Wir haben einen gemischten Fischteller gegessen, der sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Vielen Dank an den freundlichen und ausnehmend schnellen Service, und für das wirklich schmackhafte Essen.

Wir waren zu einer Familienfeier im Strandhus. Das Restaurant ist zu empfehlen,das Essen sehr lecker, das Personal freundlich, zuvorkommend und schnelle Bedienung. Wir danken dem Team und der Chefin für den wunderschönen Nachmittag.

Nettes, kleines Restaurant gleich hinter den Dünen. Leider kein Geheimtipp. Reservierungen für den Abend sollten langfristig geplant werden. Oder man hat Glück.....
