Unfortunately, there's no longer a restaurant! That's such a shame, but what can you do when there's no staff and people just don't want to pay too much? The hotel is right on the beach. We've been coming back for years. We love it, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful ten days!

This establishment is actually just a bed and breakfast and shouldn't be called a hotel. The breakfast is average, but not outstanding. The bare essentials are provided, but the presentation is very poor, and everything is very cramped. The restaurant is permanently closed, and there's no place to stay outside of your room. A lounge, for example, in bad weather or in the evenings, would be appropriate. The room was tidy, very large, and a bit worn. Cleaning only every three days. The side sea view showed a small part of the lake and a large construction site. Overall, a worn, old house. The location is positive, very close to the beach and pier.

Yes... great service, very friendly, and the location is fantastic. The view from the fourth floor is truly amazing. Highly recommended, even with children, as some of the rooms have connecting rooms, so the children sleep completely separately.

This hotel, the Villa Auszeit, the Promenadenhotel Admiral, and the Hotel am Fischerstrand, all in the immediate vicinity, are operated by the same owner – and the same approach to guests is evident throughout. Anyone who voices criticism here quickly learns that it is not welcome: Instead of addressing legitimate, politely presented comments, facts are distorted, guests are publicly defamed as liars, and – in a massive violation of data protection – personal data and private conversations are published without prior consent. This practice is not an isolated incident; it appears to be systematic: • Critical reviews are systematically deleted or publicly dismantled. • Guests with complaints are personally attacked and blamed for all problems. • Anonymity is nonexistent – names are disclosed without consent. • Anyone who raises grievances must expect public humiliation or even immediate eviction. • Hygiene is questionable: Bed linen from the previous guest is left on the bed. Anyone who requests fresh sheets is immediately penalized with a €50 "special cleaning" charge. • Even a polite request for additional towels results in an additional €50 "special cleaning" charge – allegedly because the room is "particularly dirty." Respect, integrity, and hospitality are apparently foreign concepts here.

Solid 3-star hotel, excellent location right on the promenade/beach. Rooms are simple but spacious, with direct or side sea views. Beds are comfortable. Safe is available, and cleaning is every three days, which is perfectly adequate. A refrigerator or kettle would be nice. The ventilation in the bathroom is extremely loud and continues to hum long after it's turned off; you can even hear the fan in the next room. Otherwise, quiet and pleasant. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good with everything you could wish for. Overall, a bit dated, but perfect for a short stay.

Here, you are welcome as a guest because everything is just right. A house that invites you to return.

Beautiful and very clean hotel. The service deserves 10 stars. It's a shame that the restaurant had to close due to rising prices and a lack of staff, and the hotel now only offers bed and breakfast.

Nice hotel for the money and the view. Everything was okay, the staff were also A1...Except for the woman from HSK. We asked for a bathrobe and this woman said that we can't get one straight away and snapped her fingers and later this woman said that there was no respect for guests. But the day before a man was there and said that he would bring us a bathrobe straight away.

The path to the arrival parking lot is very narrow and only accessible via a one-way street. There is only one parking space for arrivals. There are very few parking spaces in front of the hotel. The Wald parking lot is very narrow and uneven, making parking difficult. It's sometimes very noisy, and there's currently a construction site across the street. Service is very friendly, although sometimes difficult to understand due to accents. Breakfast is okay, but there are no options for allergy sufferers or vegans. The room was relatively clean. But there were really bad stains on the carpet. I can only recommend it with reservations. It's best to arrive by train and bring earplugs.

A 3-star hotel in the first row. The rooms are cleaned every three days, which we found to be more than enough. The breakfast buffet is full of delicious offerings and friendly, attentive service. It's a shame the restaurant is closed. Recommendation: Book a sea view!

At the beginning of May 2025, my wife and I had our fourth and final stay at the Bansiner Hof. We expect more than a normal, if not outstanding, standard from a 3-star hotel. This hotel no longer meets this standard for us. First, the positives: The hotel's location on the beach promenade near the pier is very good. The curtains in the room were sufficiently wide and darkened the room well. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, as were the breakfast staff, which offered enough variety for us, even if the boiled eggs were cold. We had booked a double room with a sea view, which, although it had the expected view, was very unsuitable in its layout. The television was behind a wall projection and could not be seen from the beds; however, it was possible to watch good television if you had made yourself comfortable in the wardrobe. The mattresses were completely worn out, and the carpet, with its stains, was beyond unsightly. The constant noise in the room could only be avoided by placing towels behind the door and in front of one of the two windows facing the sea. Part of the room lighting was only usable after an appeal to the reception. Daily room service is no longer available; the room is "cleaned" every three days with a change of towels. This didn't work properly either; one of two bath towels and two small hand towels weren't replaced, and the shower wasn't cleaned at all. The towels themselves must have been used for decades. All of this is an outrage and unacceptable. The bathroom was the icing on the cake! Very small, with only one glass shelf above the hand basin (sloping forward and positioned too close to the soap dispenser). The entrance to the shower was relatively high, and the sliding door was very narrow and only suitable for slim guests. There was no way to hold on or support yourself when getting in and out, making the shower unsuitable for older people. The fact that the hotel's restaurant is now permanently closed is in keeping with the overall negative trend. We can no longer recommend this hotel.

Fantastic location. First row on the beach Parking lot (extra cost) about 600m away, but Within walking distance. Conclusion: We had very nice and relaxing days. I would book the hotel again.

I was able to experience the hotel from March 20th, 2025 to March 24th, 2025 🤗 Felt a great sense of well-being from the first second 😊 Extremely nice and courteous reception staff and all other employees 😊 My room with a view on the 3rd floor was beautiful and didn't promise too much 🤗 A sensational and extensive breakfast set the mood for a great day every morning ☺️☺️☺️ The location of the hotel simply cannot be topped 😍 Direct location on the beach promenade with a wonderful view of the pier ☺️ You should book the parking space directly at the hotel in advance 😊as it is very limited due to local conditions 😊 The parking lot on private property on Goethestrasse is also safe and only a 2-minute walk away 😊 I felt extremely comfortable in this wonderful atmosphere of the hotel and will definitely visit it again 🤗🤗🤗

We were only here to eat, so I can't comment on the rooms. But the restaurant was great! Price/performance was absolutely right!

In my opinion, the value for money is disgraceful. Booking a room was extremely difficult. It's not stated whether you're booking a room with a side or frontal sea view. We had specified as an additional request that we would like a room with a frontal sea view, and we were given a room with a side sea view on the lowest floor. On top of that, the partition wall between the balconies was so large that you could barely enjoy a view of the sea. The room itself didn't have a minibar, which is pretty unacceptable considering the price of over €720 for two people and four nights. The breakfast was actually very good; the juices were delicious, and the rolls didn't taste stale.

Short trips to Bansin for over 25 years, always a beautiful place.

Were in the Achtern Deck restaurant right on the promenade. We had a coffee there for the third time today, served with a piece of cake 🍰 and had our fill of coffee. Always going well until today. Cake very tasty, coffee catastrophic. You could see to the bottom without milk. I asked the restaurant manager about it and she said I couldn't change it anymore, the coffee was already brewed. Sad 😞 There were no problems with the young men before.

Hotel is simple but clean. The room was very small, the bathroom was narrow, the shower could only be opened by one door and was not accessible for fat people. Breakfast good and plentiful

Very small room and a small fridge is missing. The parking options are also not very adequate. Parking spaces are too narrow, you get parked too much and the underground car park is a bit too narrow for larger cars (station wagon) and you have to maneuver a lot. For a bottle of water in the room €3.80 is also quite expensive because given the price you pay for the hotel room you might think that this is at least included in the price. Breakfast buffet was normal, just not something for everyone. Very nice staff, whether at the reception at breakfast or housekeeping. Not far from the beach and other restaurants, everything can be reached quickly on foot. You can even take the bus for free, which is also great for leaving your car behind if you don't necessarily want to go far away. Overall, in my opinion, it was a little too expensive for what you get, even though it's right on the beach. Two people were there from Monday to Saturday

A hotel located directly on the Baltic Sea with a very beautiful promenade. Quiet location with a very nice beach.

- Beds very soft (a matter of taste) - a mini fridge would be nice - unfortunately there was a power outage for 10 hours and no hot water for 20 hours. I would have liked a “compensation” from the hotel. A "sorry" was a bit small considering we couldn't use the room to its full potential during this time. + Rooms clean and tidy + Bathroom new and clean + Staff friendly + Breakfast something for everyone

I like the hotel, great breakfast service with great staff, the star deduction was because of the evening restaurant, the food was great, but if the staff looks at you like they're bothering you, I don't think it's customer-friendly. Yes, there is construction going on next to the hotel, which is a shame. We had a great view from our room and we are very grateful for that. Thank you until next time

The hotel is very central . Nice service in the hotel, very good breakfast buffet. However, the restaurant closes at 9 p.m. and there is no bar or lounge. A small refrigerator would be very appropriate in the room. Overall a nice vacation.

Once and never again. Rooms ultra small. View of a construction site. You weren't told that you had to make a reservation for dinner... The bed cover had a blood stain on it, I was informed and then changed. Towels were taken out, of course because I had put them on the floor, but I had to let them know that new ones were available... Breakfast, well, that's a matter of taste, I'm used to better things in Usedom. It was very crowded at the breakfast buffet... The lady at the reception preferred to chat (I think she was an acquaintance) instead of saying hello or asking when checking out if everything was okay... The gentleman who sat there on Saturday, Sunday and Monday was very friendly and helpful. All in all, it should have been pointed out that there was a construction site right next to the room, the view wouldn't be bad, but the noise...

The small holiday apartment was quite nice, but I was missing the details that made it comfortable. The whole house looked more like an apartment building. The view was of a hotel construction site. The staff were friendly.

Nice service. Everything's fine

To this day our regular hotel in Bansin / Usedom. Pleasantly quiet, good location (parking spaces are unfortunately rare), nice breakfast and decent service. Rooms and furnishings often have minor defects. Once we moved to another room because the windows were leaking and the heating didn't work. Bike rental directly below is probably the best on the whole island.

Wir waren vor gut einem Jahr in der Hauptsaison da, zu der Zeit war es sehr warm, Temparaturen um 30⁰ sind uns im Hochsommer an der See auch sehr Recht, wobei es hier auch drauf ankommt was für ein Zimmer man hat, darauf komme ich später zurück. Wir buchten sozusagen "Last Minute" über booking.com, so mussten wir denn nehmen was übrig bleibt (das Zimmer), der Rest der Kritik ist nicht auf die Last Minute Buchung zurückzuführen. Der Grund warum ich erst jetzt schreibe (um es gleich vorweg zu schreiben, ich habe ein gutes Gedächtnis, erinnere mich an jedes Detail, Leugnung zwecklos!), ist zum einen daß ich dort schon einen Fragebogen ausgefüllt hatte und zum anderen daß es das erste Mal war daß wir ein Hotel gebucht hatten in dieser (gehobenen) Preisklasse, wir in der Zwischenzeit aber Vergleichsmöglichkeiten hatten. Wie ein anderer Gast hier schon in einer Bewertung geschrieben hatte, war das Frühstücksbuffet das einzig Positive. Die Sauna brauchten wir nicht benutzen, die hatten wir auf dem Zimmer, das ganz oben war, und eine einzige Glasfront, es kühlte sich bis spät abends kaum ab. Die Tiefgarage, deren Einfahrt extrem eng war, war in einem anderen Haus. Dort parkten aber nicht nur Gäste vom Bansiner Hof, anfangs parkte auf unserem Parkplatz auch jemand anderer, was aber schnell geklärt wurde. Zurück zum Zimmer: Für den Preis (müsste ich in meine Unterlagen schauen, jedoch jenseits der 100€) zu klein, sowohl der Schlafraum, wie auch das Bad. Der Zimmerservice wurde offenbar zum Sparen angehalten: der war in einer Woche zweimal da (wenn er doch öfter da war, dann hat er nur Tür auf und wieder zu gemacht), dennoch mussten wir selbst Toilettenpapier besorgen, weil es nicht ergänzt wurde, jedoch hätten wir das sowieso getan, weil dessen Qualität unterirdisch war, vergleichbar mit dem der Rhein Army (kein Witz). In der Preisklasse (auch darunter)ist es normalerweise Standard daß die Zimmer täglich gereinigt und die Betten gemacht werden. Was der Zimmerservice hier darunter versteht, wissen wir nicht, jedenfalls fiel es uns nur zweimal auf daß dieser dort gewesen sein musste.

Tolles Hotel mit top Lage direkt an der Strandpromenade in Bansin unweit der Seebrücke. 3*** Hotel mit Spa und geräumigen Zimmern. Sehr sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Es ist tatsächlich für jeden etwas dabei. Im Hotel gibt es ein sehr gutes Restaurant und einen Fahrradverleih. Durch die zentrale Lage sind alle Lokalitäten gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir hatten für 7 Nächte ein DZ plus. Dies war für 3 Erw. vollkommen ausreichend. Tip: Bereits bei der Buchung einen Parkplatz mitreservieren. Wir kommen wieder! 🤗

Bansin ist ein sehr schöner Ort. Es gab für Kinder viel Spaß mit den verschiedensten Aktören. Abends gab es tolle Unterhaltung mit Jazzmusikern,usw. Der Ort ist relativ ruhig und morgens kann man die Ostsee genießen. Mit den Fahrrädern kann man gut andere Orte, wie Neppermin erfahren, da gut ausgebaute Radwege vorhanden sind. Es gibt Abwechslungsreiche Restaurants. Was nicht so gut war, im Bansiner Hof, dass man nicht mit Visa Card bezahlen konnte.

freudliches personal leider zu wenig parkplätze ( 800 meter weiter ist ein Öffentlicher parkplatz ) zimmer waren okay leider war duschen nicht so schön weil nur sehr wenig wasser raus kam. Essen kann man nicht meckern, für jeden etwas dabei. Sauna gibt es auch zum strand sind es nur paar meter also top gegelen

Sehr nettes Personal, reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet, schönes, sauberes und gemütliches Zimmer. Super Lage am Strand. Wer jedoch mobilitätseingeschränkt ist, sollte hier verzichten, da (historisch) baulich bedingt, einige Stufen hinderlich sein könnten. Ich hatte nichts zu beanstanden und würde dort jederzeit wieder ein Zimmer buchen.

Wer eine gute Tasse Kaffee mit einem Stück Marzipan-Tote genießen möchte und das zum kleinen Preis, ist hier genau richtig.

Lage direkt an der Promenade. Frühstück und Abendessen sehr gut. Zimmer okay . Kann ich empfehlen.

Das erste erstelltes Essen war nicht in Ordnung. Das nächste Gericht war gut.

Super Hotel direkt in der ersten Strandreihe

Dieses Hotel ist ein Traum. Erholung pur. Sehr sauber,sehr gute Betten für einen erholsamen Schlaf. Das Frühstück ist grandios. Von allem etwas. Und immer frisch. Das Personsl ist sehr freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Wir kommen wieder.

Ein schöner Ort zum Verweilen an der Promenade. Wir haben lecker Eis und Kuchen gegessen und Cafe getrunken. Sehr freundliche Bedienung.

Ein wunderbarer Urlaub - direkt an der Promenade und am Strand. In der Nachsaison ist Bansin einfach toll. Im Hotel herrschte eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Selten haben wir einen so freundlichen Service in allen Bereichen erlebt. Besonderen Dank an die Rezeption, den Fahrradverleih, die freundlichen Kräfte beim Frühstück (was übrigens gut und reichlich war!) ... und die Reinigungs- und Servicekräfte der Zimmer. Es war eine tolle Woche. Danke!

Das Personal ist SEHR nett. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gut eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist ausreichend und sehr vielseitig. Der Wellnessbereich ist toll! Meine 4 Jährige Tochter hat sich auch sehr wohl gefühlt, auch auf sie wurde toll eingegangen. Das Restaurant hat sogar für sie spontan einen Cocktail gezaubert. Auch das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen.Danke für die tolle Zeit ❤

Hotel liegt wenige Schritte vom Strand entfernt,das ist wirklich super. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Betten sehr gut. Frühstück war sehr gut. Sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Mitarbeiter beim Frühstück,was man vom Personal in den Abendstunden nicht behaupten kann. Um 22 Uhr schließt das Restaurant. Man wird sehr unfreundlich darauf hingewiesen das um 21.45 Uhr keine Getränkewünsche mehr entgegen genommen werden,da eh um 22Uhr geschlossen wird. Das Restaurant war um diese Zeit noch gut besucht. Etliche Gäste waren über diese unfreundliche Behandlung verärgert. Leider interessierte das weder die ältere Dame am Thresen,die wohl die Restaurantchefin ist herzlich wenig ,noch das Personal das uns über ihren 10stündigen Dienst informierte. 20 Minuten verbringt man damit einen Kellner an den Tisch zu bekommen und auf Nachfrage am Thresen warum man ignoriert wird,bekommt man die Antwort das eh gleich geschlossen wird.Unter Kundenfreundlichkeit und Kundenbindung versteh ich was völlig anderes.Es wird einem das Gefühl vermittelt das man nicht willkommen ist. Wenn man vom Restaurantbesuch absieht ,hatten wir wirklich sehr schöne Tage.

Lage Strandpromenade. Kein behindertengerechtes Hotel, bedarf einer Renovierung. Frühstücksbuffet sehr gut.

Service 4 von 5 Sterne da meine Reklamation das die Mischbatterie der Dusche defekt ist ,leider nicht gleich behoben wurde. Frühstück ist 1+, ganz liebe Mitarbeiter, saubere große Zimmer.

Die Lage ist sehr schön. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung, aber ziemlich unmodern. Viel Teppich und Gardinen, die oft Staubfänger sind. Frühstück ist reichlich und wird ständig nachgefüllt. Leider ist der Service der Rezeption kein Besuch wert. Wenig Lächeln, wenig Interesse Auffälligkeiten zu klären. Zumindest haben zwei der Rezeptionisten diesen Eindruck hinterlassen. Wollen wohl lieber ihre Ruhe haben. Die Parkplatzsituation ist unschön, da kann schon mal ne Beule drin sein. Allgemein kann man sich dort gerne eine Ausszeit nehmen, ich denke die Kleinigkeiten sind regelbar.

Wir waren mit 5 Personen da und es hat allen gut gefallen, Frühstück war ganz toll und wenn alle Gäste lesen könnten, wenn es voll ist das sie platziert werden , dann wäre es wunderschön. Liebes Team macht weiter so.

Zimmer sind mit Möbeln follgestellt. Warm Wasser kam, wie WLan, sehr spärlich. Parkende Autos wurden mit Mülltonnen verspärt. Das Hotel ist für Gehbehinderte micht geeignet zuviele Treppen. Das Preis-Leistungverhätnis ist nicht gerechtfertigt. Den 3. Stern habt Ihr nur für das gute Frühstück bekommen.

Das Hotel an sich ist wirklich super, ein unvergleichlicher Blick über die Bansiner Promenade, den Strand und auf die Ostsee. Sauberes Zimmer und freundliches Personal bekräftigen eigentliche 4 Sterne meiner Meinung nach. Im unten liegenden, dazugehörigem Restaurant hatte ich ein Steak (23,50€), welches lecker war, mich satt gemacht hat und dementsprechend befriedigend war. Die Fischboulette französischer Art (16,50€) und die Tagliatelle mit Zander (17,50€) jedoch alles andere als das. Der Kartoffelbrei ohne Geschmack zog Fäden. Die Nudeln waren frei jeglicher Gewürze und dazu noch kalt. Der Spargel überkocht und hatte eine skurrile grün-giftige Farbe. Hinzu kommt eine meiner Meinung nach nicht genug geheizte Räumlichkeit. Von einem Besuch des Strandhotels ist jedoch in keinem Fall abzuraten, ganz im Gegenteil. Nur das Restaurant würde ich meiden. Es gibt bessere in direkter Nähe.

Rezeption bzw. Buchung am Telefon sehr freundlich. Tips zu Tagesausflügen. Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich. Das Hotelrestaurant mit Bedienung war top. Kurzum sehr sehr zu empfehlen : )
