We received a very warm welcome. The restaurant is beautifully located on the waterfront, well-appointed, and has a variety of Italian music playing in the background. We ate very well; everything was well presented and delicious. The waiters are very friendly. A little corner of Italy in the depths of Thuringia.

We chose this restaurant based on the many positive reviews. However, we were disappointed. When we asked, we were confirmed that the juices were also available as spritzers. However, the waiter forgot to mention that you would then receive the juice and a small bottle of water. This means you are ordering two drinks. A 0.33-liter spritzer costs €7.00. This approach is not very customer-oriented. Considering the final price, a warning would have been more than appropriate. We would have chosen a different drink. Both the salmon and the meat pieces in the selected pasta dishes were very small and could be counted on one hand. The porcini mushrooms were of poor quality. Overall, a rather disappointing evening.

We were there yesterday and had made a reservation in advance. The manager showed us to our table and even moved a chair for us. Very attentive, but not intrusive. Both meals were good and plentiful. The waiter was very attentive, as my jacket had slipped off my lap and he picked it up for me. This level of attention is also very rare these days.

I'm amazed by the countless great reviews here. We only give the location and the wine (Chianti) full marks. 1. Criticism: On an autumn evening on the terrace, there were no cushions or blankets – that's provincial! 2. The food was poorly cooked and overpriced. The cream-sauced tagliatelle lingered in our stomachs for a long time. The advertised pizza with mozzarella and basil had exactly half a leaf of the herb, and the spaghetti with strips of beef also had no cherry tomatoes. 3. Because the much-vaunted Italian hospitality was also lacking, it was pointless for us to even mention it. It's a shame we tipped anyway out of politeness. We just wanted to get out of there quickly! But it would take a while, because the restroom is unfortunately on the second floor. Luckily, we don't have mobility issues.

Rosario is a very modern Italian restaurant overlooking the idyllic Zeulenrodaer Meer. From the terrace, you have a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside and the lake. This is a wonderful place to enjoy an evening with friends or family. The dishes on offer, from appetizers to dessert, are excellent.

We wanted to order a pizza to go for Sunday. The employee said they weren't serving any more food because they were too busy. So, either it was very poor staffing or simply overwhelmed, because it didn't look that busy inside or on the terrace...

Italian cuisine at its finest. They also cater to special requests, such as allergies, and the staff was very friendly. The terrace offers a fantastic view of the Zeulenroda Dam. It's very quiet, and you can rent boats, kayaks, and much more nearby.

Unfortunately, we can't confirm the positive impressions. The location with the lake view is certainly great, but that's where the positives end. The staff is too small for the size of the restaurant, and we had to signal our presence several times so we could place our order. The white wine served (a bottle, €40) was too warm. The cooler, not a wine cooler but intended for water, was too small, and the wine got even warmer over time. The pizza in the restaurant is good, but that's no challenge for an Italian restaurant. Which brings us to the lasagna. It has nothing to do with Italian cuisine, as the manager confirmed, but the local guests want it that way! So they deny their origins and adapt to Thuringian cuisine. The lasagna is filled with boiled egg slices and cooked ham (prosciutto cotto). No minced meat or tomato sauce! The taste is a mixture of egg salad with tomato cream sauce. Unfortunately, we overlooked this reference on the menu and were accordingly appalled. I can't imagine having to read the list of ingredients for a standard product like lasagna. Here, however, I'm proven wrong. Upon request, they offered to make the lasagna without eggs and ham, but that wouldn't have improved the taste. I don't think it's the customer's taste that drives this preparation, but rather cost-effectiveness, since a boiled egg and two slices of cooked ham, if that much, are much cheaper than good minced meat, vegetables, and tomato sauce. Incidentally, a small basket of white bread (pane), which is a free addition at the Italian restaurants I know, is charged an additional €2 (5 slices) here! So, unfortunately, a complete failure and currently not recommended. It's just a shame that there are no alternatives at the lake, so this great team can continue to exist for years to come...

It was our first time there. The service was super friendly and very attentive. A very pleasant atmosphere, definitely even more beautiful in the summer on the terrace overlooking the dam. The food was excellent, and despite the busy restaurant, the wait was reasonable (20 minutes). The chef was very nice and also offered/recommended desserts. The prices are perfectly reasonable for the amount you get. We'd be happy to come back.

We were greeted in a friendly and professional manner and shown to our table. Once there, we were served promptly. The appetizer: One of the best bruschettas I've ever tasted. The bread was perfectly toasted, and the tomato and garlic topping was just right. The garlic wasn't too overpowering, and the tomatoes were juicy and fresh. The arugula and balsamic vinegar were just the right amount. The main course: A very tasty and creative tagliatelle. The pasta was cooked to the perfect degree, in my opinion. The sauce combined with the creamy mozzarella was a real treat. It truly melted in my mouth. The dessert: The crème brûlée was amazing. Everything just worked out. I don't think I need to say anything more. All in all, I highly recommend a visit. In my opinion, this restaurant is the best Italian restaurant in the area. A true culinary expert. We were on vacation with our dog and didn't feel welcome here. As is the case in the town, dogs are generally prohibited, whether inside or outside. We brought food with us, but we weren't really welcome there either. Unfortunately. This was our last visit to the town.

We went to Da Rosario beach house today and had the risotto and a pizza. Both dishes were very tasty. Unfortunately, the risotto was far too little for the asking price of 18 euros. When I reported this to the staff, the only response I got was that this was normal. Very unfortunate.

Ordered again yesterday after a long time and honestly, I won't do it again. 2 times pasta, it was totally bitter and a single lump and then 4 times we had pizza, which was already cold and didn't taste particularly good, the only thing that was good was the salad. We stayed at Da Rosario beach house. At the entrance you will be welcomed in a friendly Italian way. We had a reservation. The restaurant is very nicely decorated. We ordered 2 pizzas and 2 pasta dishes. Although you might think there was a little bit on the plate, the portions were almost too much. The plates are beautifully prepared, hot and taste great. The children's pizzas were super crispy and well topped. The prices are high but not too expensive for what you get. I can recommend the restaurant! We'd love to come back.

The beach house is modernly furnished and offers space for many people. The terrace is lovely in summer. The place right on the water is great. Smoking is prohibited on the terrace. A reservation is always recommended. Service is very good and quick. The boss serves it himself and enough other service staff. The food is super delicious. From starters, main courses, pizza, pasta or meat to dessert, everything is really good. Highly recommended restaurant. Parking is a few meters away and costs €1 for 2 hours.

After reading some of the negative reviews, I can't understand them at all. The staff was very friendly and very attentive, but not intrusive. The boss was also very warm and accommodating. We felt very comfortable at all times. The ambience is a dream, located very close to the water with a wonderful view. As a starter I had the pizza bread with garlic and my partner had a side salad. For the main course she had the risotto with tomato mozzarella and grilled zucchini, and I had the Tagliatelle Mafia with salmon. As you can see from the photos, the side salad alone qualifies as the main course in some other restaurants. Accordingly, we were more than full and the taste of the food was beyond any doubt. In terms of price, we found it a little more expensive than other restaurants we have been to in the area, considering the abundance and excellent taste, but completely reasonable and not overpriced. It should be clear to everyone that a restaurant in this location is very busy and that you should call in advance to reserve a nice place. To rate the store poorly afterwards because you didn't get a place shows unfair behavior. I can recommend the beach house Da Rosario with a clear conscience and would be happy to spend a pleasant evening here again at any time.

Ordered 3 pizzas to take away by phone from the beach. We were told the waiting time would be an hour…ok. We are there just in time for the pick-up time and the waiter asks which pizzas we have ordered. Then we said our order again...he said it would be ready in five minutes. When I asked again after 20 minutes what the pizzas were like, when asked in the kitchen he said “they are in the oven”. So they had classically forgotten our order. Unfortunately not a word or gesture of apology...Paid and that's it. There really is a better way. If you don't have your ordering process under control, you can apologize and not have to make your guests wait pointlessly at the counter for 45 minutes and take them for a fool. Pizzas weren't cut yet, despite asking. Unsightly and unfortunately it was the second time that it was so unfortunate... and there wasn't even much going on. Unfortunately bad...

In between you can order the dishes, but with the large selection it is quite difficult to decide. The food takes a little longer to prepare, but it is freshly prepared. Very friendly and helpful staff. Recommendation: reserve seats in advance.

We were greeted by an unfriendly and annoyed boss. The customer is king, things are different! We actually waited 55 minutes for our food. We go to the Italian restaurant very often, but we have never had a meal like this. Noodles that were way too soft were presented carelessly on the plate, the salad was wilted, the meat was tough. We can only advise against eating out to have a good time and not to be treated like a nuisance.

Ein absoluter Traum. Sehr nettes zuvorkommend Personal und fantastisches Essen. Traumhafte Lage. 12.12.23 erneute da gewesen. Alles wie immer top. Essen mega lecker und sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Endlich mal ein Italiener mit richtiger Cabonara, mega lecker. Außergewöhnliche Speisekarte und nicht die typischen Standartgerichte. Wenn ich mal wieder in der Heimat bin, komme ich aufjedenfall wieder.

Muss ehrlich sagen Warum nur 4,3 ? Volle PUNKTZAHL für Service, tolles Restaurant mit Wohlfühlgarantie absolut leckeres und hochwertiges Essen. Zusätzlich kommt die Professionalität und die herzliche und freundliche Bedienung. Hatte ein nettes Gespräch mit dem Chef. Bin das erste Mal auf Empfehlung hier und kann es nur weiter empfehlen. Das Essen war sehr lecker! Die Nudeln waren wirklich al dente und der Lachs war richtig zart. Auch die Pizza ist sehr zu empfehlen. Zudem ein wunderbares Ambiente und nettes Personal.
