Although it's not very busy, the service is absolutely terrible. Long waits to even order, and the drink I ordered later was forgotten.

Honest food at reasonable prices, friendly service. We were served quickly and attentively, although the wait for the food was a bit long. The outdoor terrace was pleasant, and the chairs were comfortable. The background music could have been quieter, or even better, left out altogether, but that's a matter of taste.

This is a place to go due to the location and the atmosphere. The food is eatable but not the reason to visit this restaurant. I ordered pasta with shrimps and they forgot to add the shrimps........

We went to the beach house for Mother's Day dinner with the family! The table on the Allerufer was very nice! The number of guests was manageable! However, no one came to the table to take the order! The waitress was engrossed in the conversation! I made myself noticed several times, but was ignored! At some point she came to the table very slowly! The food was very manageable! Burger for 13€, you had to order a small handful of fries for 6€! The burger tasted great Mediocre! My husband's bruschetta wasn't really good! His main course was simply forgotten! When we asked, we were told that the forgotten burger would now take 25 minutes! So we went home hungry! It's a shame! Unfortunately, the beach house is no longer available for us!

Nice restaurant, great ambience, and we didn't have to wait long for our food, the service was unfriendly and the food wasn't great either. We had baked potatoes which were soggy. The bruschetta was not bruschetta but sour and everything but bruschetta. The bread was also burnt. The self-made lemonade woodruff had no taste

I was there for the Easter holiday brunch. Lots of and, above all, delicious selection. Whether rolls, sausage and other spreads, a large selection. Also various eggs and side dishes. And a small selection of warm dishes. Unfortunately, hot drinks were not included, which quickly makes it quite expensive. At least a pot of coffee would have been desirable. Still recommended if you want to treat yourself to a nice brunch.

We went to the holiday buffet and it was incredibly tasty. There was so much choice and there was something for everyone. Anyone who likes to eat unusually and eat a lot should definitely go there!!

Very nice service, but waited 45 minutes for the food. After 30 minutes I asked nicely and then it took almost 15 minutes again. It was midday and not yet full. Too bad. In the end it was very tasty.

We went to Easter brunch with 10 people because I had already reserved a table in February. Otherwise it is not possible on such days. The food was great, very varied, the price-performance ratio was okay, and the staff were very attentive despite the stress they had. I would recommend it again and again. The positive: the location is nice and the furnishings are nice too. You can sit outside and inside. The food tasted good throughout and was also well cooked. However, there wasn't enough choice for a holiday brunch or Easter brunch. It was a normal breakfast buffet with additional pasta in tomato sauce, chicken leg and cooked salmon. The Easter theme wasn't addressed at all, either with simple colored eggs, decorations or anything Easter-related. For me, brunch also includes a few more warm dishes and also waffles and pancakes. You can now get something like that at normal breakfast buffets, but none here. I would have expected a little more for the holiday and at just under 27 euros per person without drinks. Everything was delicious. The flowers die a miserable death and a few cobwebs adorned the windows. You could definitely pay attention to that. ☺️ I would come back for a normal breakfast buffet, but not for brunch.

Very nice place, fine ambience. Unfortunately, some of the food was inedible and quite expensive. The spagetti carbonata was literally swimming in oil. Despite the complaint, the oil noodles were on the bill. Too bad...

The beach house is a restaurant and bar. We were 3 women who each had 1 piece 🍰 with 1 hot drink. Both pieces of carrot cake and the piece of chocolate cake were very tasty. Overall, it was OK, except for the gentlemen behind the counter who were only on the phone and there weren't enough waitresses for a Good Friday afternoon. Hence the star deduction

I recently had lunch there with friends. In my bowl we found a large, dead insect - similar to a moth. When we pointed this out to the waitress, she just turned away and said “S***!” Since I had already eaten a lot and had lost my appetite, I declined the offer of a new plate. Afterwards, our table hardly received any attention. When I left I was supposed to pay the full price first, but luckily the waitress changed my mind.

Absolutely recommended! Great ambience, super friendly service and excellent food. Every course was a pleasure, lovingly prepared and tasted great. We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back!

Visited again today after a long time. Ate a bruschetta and a tarte flambée. Unfortunately, fresh is not available. The bruschetta doesn't deserve its name and went to the edge of the table after the first bite. The tarte flambée was 0815 boring, bland but tasted ok. The bruschetta was not charged. Thank you for that :) Next visit, if only for drinks.

The ambience outside is really nice, but the music inside is a bit too loud. The price-performance ratio is not good at all! We waited 40 minutes for our food, which wasn't even tasty. The steak was cooked way too long and was dry. It certainly wasn't 220g either. Far too small an amount for €30. You always have to order sweet potatoes or fries, regardless of the menu. The prices are also far too expensive compared to the M-One (€6 extra for fries, which in my opinion should be a given in a menu). The Bravocado consists of a cream sauce and only contains avocado pieces. But that's not what the sauce is made of. The staff is mostly unfriendly and not particularly motivated. It was absolutely not worth the money to us. Too bad.

We went there for dinner with my wife last night. The atmosphere in the garden was great. It was a bit cold, but the heating was on. However, our main course came exactly 1 hour after the starter, so we forgot about our hunger while waiting. The food is delicious but the service leaves something to be desired.

Absolute disaster. I guess that’s it for the beach house. If you have a completely overwhelmed waitress who successfully ignores the guests. But they were nice. Unfortunately both burgers were cold. The food came surprisingly quickly for the number of guests. Burger was ok.

We were here with our friends and had reserved a table. It took (too) much time for the very friendly service person to take the order. The drinks took around 30 minutes to finally arrive, the food took around 2 (!!!) hours. When asked about 1.5 hours later, they said it would take another 5 minutes, which then turned into 20. The food itself was nothing special (I had the vegetarian burger with fries). And overall it is very loud here. No recommendation, and the staff is clearly overwhelmed.

Nice ambience on the Aller with a great outside area, but the food that was served to us was a big disappointment. We had burgers with fries, the burger was very small and very dry, the patty was fried to death with a leaf of lettuce and a slice of Sheddar cheese + a dollop of sauce. The cheeseburger at Mc Donalds has better toppings and it wasn't cheap. The schnitzel was also quite bland and quite small. If you're looking for good and nice food, you're in the wrong place here

We went to brunch today and unfortunately the organization wasn't optimal. The buffet was set up in a room that was far too small, so there were very long waiting times. Due to the limited space in the buffet room, it was difficult to refill the food, meaning that many items were always sold out and guests had to wait a long time. The location is actually nice, but the brunch concept desperately needs better planning. Unfortunately, the way it is currently organized, a relaxed and nice brunch is not possible.

I would like to give the modern and cozy atmosphere a better rating, but unfortunately I find it too loud (at least on Saturday evenings) which makes it really difficult to feel comfortable in the beautiful restaurant. I'm really, really sorry!

We were there twice. Once for cocktails and once for breakfast. We were quite satisfied the first time. Delicious and good-looking drinks and we didn't have to wait long. Nice atmosphere, chic dishes, but the prices were quite high. Especially for non-alcoholic cocktails, even though they “only” consist of juices or similar. The second time, however, disappointed us immensely. We had reserved a table for 11 adults and 2 children with strollers. We were given a table for 10 people and said, “Why is that okay?”, but it didn’t stop there. The location was completely overbooked: the main thing was sales. Table to table, cramped to cramped, so you couldn't get up and go to the buffet. Queues for food were almost 20 minutes long because it was reduced to a tiny room. And when you finally came back, the coffee was cold. Cups spilled over and that with the prices. Conclusion: Poorly organized, no order and no interest except for money. Nice as a bar as an emergency option, otherwise never again.

Strandhaus Celle – A gastronomic low point! If you want to spend a relaxing evening with good food, you should definitely avoid the Strandhaus Celle. Our visit around 9 p.m. ended in a mixture of disappointment, bewilderment and a good deal of disgust. The antipasti all’italiana plate was ordered, advertised as “Carne & Verdure”. The reality? A sad arrangement with hardly any meat - almost non-existent. But that was just the beginning. Served rotten food – an absolute no-go! When the plate came, we discovered small white dots on the vegetables. At first we didn't think anything of it - a fatal mistake. The first bite revealed the disgusting taste of spoiled goods. Meanwhile, my partner had eaten grapes from the plate, which at least seemed inconspicuous. We complained immediately. After a long wait, a “fresh” plate was served – and this is where things got really bold: it was obvious that the contents had simply been redistributed. The grapes we had already eaten were still on the new plate - a grotesque reminder that we were obviously being taken for fools here. This was accompanied by a misshapen, far too large, ice-cold log of goat cheese, hastily slapped onto the plate and drowned in a pine nut and honey sauce. Still hardly any meat, but now a slimy, taste-wise imposition. Bread? Of course not. Apparently the beach house assumes that guests will just shove 200g of cold cheese into their mouths - raw, naked and without any accompaniment. Service? None. Critical ability? Underground. After complaining again we were fobbed off with a mixture of arrogance and incompetence. The restaurant manager left no doubt that our legitimate criticism was not welcome. Instead of professional insight? Discussion, justifications and an incredible lack of insight. After an unnecessarily long back and forth, the plate was finally removed from the bill - a more than reasonable minimum for this gastronomic total loss. Of course we paid regularly for the wine, which at least wasn't spoiled. Conclusion: A culinary disaster with miserable quality, questionable handling of food and a service mentality that fluctuates somewhere between ignorance and audacity. If you want to treat yourself to a real annoying evening with spoiled food, chaotic service and a fascinating inability to accept criticism - go ahead! For everyone else: Just give this store a wide berth. 🚫

A few weeks ago we spent a very sociable evening with friends at the beach house. Unfortunately, a glass broke, which was apparently reason enough for the restaurant manager to expel us from the house. Dear owner, if you are reading this, I would like to point out that such incidents have scared away satisfied and willing guests and will scare away more guests. More friendly communication would certainly have led to a better solution.

Were there on January 8, 2025. Nice reception, 2 large drinks, nice service, good atmosphere, upper price segment.

Yesterday later in the evening, five people went to the beach house for cocktails. We wanted to give an evening a nice ending. After we were escorted to a table, it took more than half an hour until the order was finally taken. After what felt like an eternity, the people at various neighboring tables arrived later and had already had their drinks, our ordered drinks finally arrived. This was only after one of us asked at the counter. No excuse for the long waiting times, that's not how you treat guests. It's a shame, we probably won't come back again.

We come from Göttingen and were here for further training. We like the ambience very, very much, it is really nice. The music that runs in the background is good and has the right volume. It's Saturday evening and it's already busy, the volume isn't bothersome at all, that's what happens when a restaurant is full; But that just shows that it has to be good here and it really is. Great, very friendly, young, relaxed service. I think that you are duked here is good and right, many people are just too stiff as far as it is concerned to respond to other recessions here. The girls here do a great job and are not stressed and relaxed even when the restaurant is busy. The food was very good and tasty. All in all, a successful evening, so we ended up sitting there longer than we wanted. Dear beach house team, keep it up, you are on the right path. Thank you for a great evening.

We went to the beach house for Christmas dinner in the evening. It took an hour for the food to arrive and unfortunately the first people had already finished half of it before the rest could even begin. The red cabbage was a disaster. It consisted of whole cabbage leaves and tasted sharp and bitter. The dumplings also had a bitter taste. The sauce was over-seasoned and tasted like Maggi. Our neighboring table also had to wait 2 hours for their food, which was then delivered incorrectly. Unfortunately I was very disappointed and don't want to come back.

Nice atmosphere, very friendly service, ideal parking connection. But for a restaurant, the music is too loud to have a meaningful conversation with several people and to understand the waitress when she calls out the food in a light voice 😊. We were there with 18 people. Unfortunately we were left with three meals and a few drinks that we definitely didn't have. So please take notes if there are more of you.

Went in yesterday with a larger group and waited 1 1/2 hours for the food, which was ultimately served to us after a long time between each other. Waitresses could certainly work on their friendliness, as they personally "threw" my plate in my face. Very unfriendly, I personally wouldn't recommend it.

Ate Christmas schnitzel, red cabbage was very good, the meat was too dry. My wife ate salmon and it died twice. He was cooked to death! Bruscetta with balsamic vinegar and stale bread, not toasted. There is still room for improvement here...

The place itself is placed next to the river and has a good view. The food was horrendous and overpriced for what we received. Additionally we waited more than an hour for the starter and similarly for the main dish despite the restaurant being far from capacity. PS the restaurant literally gave us a sign

The food was bad. The spaghetti carbonara was very greasy (in the end about 4cl of fat/oil sauce remained at the bottom of the plate) and probably without eggs, the BBQ burger was inedible (the patty was hard, gray and without meat structure, the bacon was limp) and that Carpaccio almost frozen in the middle and lukewarm on the outside. The fries were good. The ambience is OK. but nothing special in Celle (it was dark and the view of the Aller was therefore not possible)...it was very crowded, therefore loud and there was also too loud and "pop" music coming from the speakers. The service was ok...you have to put up with the fact that all the (young) service staff are talking to you.....

We invited our friends here for a birthday breakfast on a Sunday...a table was reserved for 12 people. The place was completely overcrowded. Not a single seat was unoccupied...good for the restaurant...I think it backfired. We sometimes waited 45 minutes for our drinks or they didn't come at all... The buffet was rich and visually impressive...unfortunately we stood in line for up to 30 minutes just to get to it. Buffet actually means that you could serve yourself a second or third time... but we quickly lost the desire to do so... Overall, we were very upset...and our conclusion from this...unfortunately not recommended. Sometimes less is more!

I really enjoy being here. Something small for lunch, a drink in between. I don't actually come past when the car is parked on the Schützenplatz.

So the location is really nice and the service was also nice. But unfortunately there's still one star overall because a lot of it was actually incredibly rude. Plus it's absolutely expensive for what you get. 1. My brother-in-law received a bottle of beer along with a used dirty glass. He had to go to the bar himself to ask for a new one (in my opinion he would have had to get the drink for free). I had a Cola Zero and it tasted like it had been on forever. 2. Literally FIVE minutes after we ordered, we already received our food. That simply can't be the case. Therefore it will have been prepared somehow earlier and heated quickly. 3. My husband had Spaghetti Cabonara, very runny/juicy but tasty. I had a baked potato with chicken strips. Mine was an absolute disgrace and I have never had such a bad baked potato. You couldn't eat much of the pure potato because it was extremely stuffed with cheese and broccoli (? I think I tasted it), and the rest was hard and just not good. Then, last but not least, it tasted a bit fishy. The other two meals were good. Afterwards we went to an event and unfortunately had to cancel it because my husband suddenly had diarrhea and vomited (perhaps the cold chain was not maintained at the Cabonara and perhaps food poisoning?!). I also have severe nausea. 4. We drank coffee/tea there and given the prices and the ambience, I was very surprised that there wasn't a cookie or something (I just know it differently). Some of it is complaining at a high level, but now that we've gotten sick, I just find it all a complete disgrace. It's a shame because it was really an ultra chic location...

We were there for breakfast, 18.90 euros per person is still OK for Celle, which I find very sad that there wasn't a single hot drink, I personally think 4.30 euros is too much for a cup of tea, I don't know the price of coffee The breakfast buffet was plentiful, unfortunately the refilling didn't work out. It's a shame because the scrambled eggs are cold. You can drink orange juice until the doctor comes. I can recommend the breakfast, just that You shouldn't go there when you're so hungry. That's my personal opinion.

The Strandhaus-Celle convinced me! The “Purple Prince” dish was particularly a good choice: a perfectly coordinated combination of sheep cheese, pasta, beetroot and walnuts – simply good! The service was friendly. The ambience is great, with pleasant lighting that creates a relaxed atmosphere. A clear recommendation for everyone traveling in Celle! Definitely better than the current Google reviews suggest. A visit is worth it!

Upscale ambience for Celle. Lunch at “normal prices”, but the food is also accordingly (clear). Service mediocre. The lady didn't manage to look at any of us once. Not again! The ambience is clearly wonderful….but… The prices are absolutely not appropriate for the service. The rosé wine (there were only two to choose from) was not in stock. After all, the higher priced wine was offered at the same price. The tarte flambée was very poor in terms of topping... And that for 17.90???? I'm happy to pay for high-priced food, but please pay appropriately. But the highlight was actually the “arrival” of our dishes: several pasta variants were chosen. The plates were described as spaghetti, when we asked in detail which pasta dish it was, the answer was that we would clarify this later... the main thing is to put it down first... it doesn't work at all!!!!!!!! That was the height of arrogance. He is welcome to do this with his “cousins ​​or brothers”, but please not with a well-groomed group of ladies. Hello, I visited the beach house with my friends last night. The ambience of the restaurant/bar is beautiful and cozy, although it starts with the greeting that you are sent directly from one employee to another and you are taken to a table where the music is much too loud and you can hardly understand your own words , and you don't even understand the waiter, you should start to change something about it. Then when we placed our orders we waited forever for our drinks, and when they came they were the wrong drinks that were overflowing with ice and water. My friends just got something but not what they ordered. Even if the drinks were ordered without ice, they came with ice :D and when we asked the waitress about it, they didn't know what was ordered, even though everything was obviously typed into their mobile device. Then we wanted to try a good whiskey, which was sold out, so we got a standard whiskey, but we were still charged for the expensive whiskey (so it's very important to check the bill.) Two cocktails were ordered and still not served after an hour became. By the way, it's also billed. :D you can tell you think you're watching the wrong film. Conclusion: the beach house is NOT recommended.!!!!!

The ambience is great and the service is nice, but I was pretty disappointed! I wanted to celebrate my birthday with a couple of friends, but the mood quickly went to 0. You waited forever until you could order and waited forever for your drinks and then you didn't get what you ordered several times. The last round didn't come at all and in the end the whole calculation didn't add up! We were very disappointed and changed the restaurant and then had a nice evening.

We drove over here for lunch. Great selection of lunch menus and really cheap too. Everything was delicious and fresh. Location was great, right on the water with shade on the huge terrace. You can tell that the beach house and the service are designed to serve a lot of customers. Definitely highly recommended for lunch.

I ordered an anti pasti platter on Sunday. On the map there is a green leaf marked as a symbol for “vegetarian”. At first glance I could see ham and mold on the grapes, but I thought ok, that can happen. I looked at the anti pasti and discovered more mold on it entire plate! I let the food go back. The nice waitress accepted it, said “oh, I'm sorry” and walked away. About 7 minutes later a new anti pasti plate arrived, which was fine. In my opinion, the mold could not be overlooked and you shouldn't sell something like that to the customer! I paid full price for this product and didn't even receive an apologetic gesture... Furthermore, two bowls were ordered that just looked sad. Little content but a high price. Bad combination.

It was a beautiful sunny day and the restaurant was at 70-80% capacity. We arrived with a group of 30 people and were immediately given cool drinks. The food was on the table a short time later. It was great to see how the team leader had everything under control, great team and friendly in every situation. The ambience by the water is very successful, the clean river invites you to swim. We'd love to come back, and I'd like to come back too 😊👍

The location is, no question, what you actually pay for. Unfortunately the food doesn't taste good at all. Way too spicy, overpriced, sometimes extremely dry. This applies to the chilli cheese fries as well as to the salad with beef tips. The beef was so dry and tough that it was really hard to eat. The dressing, overly seasoned and salty. The bruscetta actually has nothing to do with bruscetta and the slices of bread don't fit in your mouth, unless you want to dislocate your jaw. The spritzers are recommended, in my case coconut spritzer. That was very delicious. Ultimately a restaurant that is very clean and tidy, but with prices that are way too high for what is on offer. (Food such as drinks, cocktails)

Great setting on the river. Had the dorade and my partner the noodles with gamba's. Noodle were over flavored, too much soy used. Dorade was very small, mashed potatoes were tasty. Cocktails were good. Wouldn't go for the food, but the setting and interior are on point.

Delicious food in the beer garden with a view of the Aller. Nice service. The tables are stylishly set inside. Prices ok

No Happy Our Cocktails overpriced and too much ice in them. It's a shame, I liked being there in the summer.

Great location, everything was great

There are 2 stars only for the location on the water with the large terrace. Unfortunately everything else is subterranean. Ordered a bottle of champagne for 160 euros. The service doesn't even know what it is and has to ask first. Then another waiter comes and brings the bottle to the table, but doesn't know how to open the bottle. A third waiter comes and opens it The bottle was completely wrong and the pouring was completely wrong. After that we didn't see a waiter at the table, we didn't refill anything (we had to do that ourselves), nothing happened at all.. Given the price of the bottle, I expect better service!! The dishes we ordered were so-so, not really warm and not of high quality either. The cocktails were careless and made without much knowledge. The Cosmopolitan only consisted of cranberry juice and was far too dark. The sour tasted like nothing except soap and was way too watery. The bartender desperately needs training. All in all an absolute disappointment, the only goal here is to make money.. The guest is secondary.. Also far too expensive for far too poor a service..

We were there with 14 people for the European Championship game Spain vs. Italy, so we had to wait longer, but the dishes were all very tasty, as were the drinks. Personally, I can only say that the Wiener Schnitzel was a bit dry but still tasty and the fries The cocktails we ordered were mixed well to strong and the Sex on the Beach in particular was one of the best I've ever had, a clear recommendation for the "beach feeling" in Celle

100% overrated, e.g.: - all burgers are made with frozen patties (prices are outrageous) - the cocktails taste very amateurish (i.e. the price is not justified) - supposedly a “beautiful view”; what exactly is beautiful about a small and dirty part of the world? - generally very disappointing (for their reputation)

Very nice location, a bit overpriced! Champion Schnitzel wasn't really my thing.

Addendum: The prices have now been raised so much that I no longer want to give 5 stars. We will now only come once or twice a summer. Currently probably the most beautifully located location in Celle. The food is served attractively and tastes fantastic. The waitresses are often a bit overwhelmed by the rush, but they try very hard and are always extremely polite. If you want to experience a great summer evening with a holiday feeling, you should definitely stop by here.
