Schwarte vom Schweinebraten lapprig, Dunkelbiersoße zu hell, dick und schmeckte nicht nach Dunkelbier bzw. sie passt nicht dazu. Gibt es bei anderen bessere Soße! Die Knödel die man extra dazu bestellen muss ( für viel Geld ) sind durch das dazu verwendete Brot bitter da das Brot mit Kümmel ist! Passt nicht so da sehe man den ich eher die normalen besser dazu passen! Das hat nix mit Österreich zu tun! Und wenn man schon Beilagen extra bezahlen muss dann könnte das ganze etwas günstiger sein!

Hier läuft alles rund. Super Restaurant mit abwechslungsreichen Gerichten top Service! Die Bedienung ist äußerst freundlich und witzig. Da scheint der Job noch Spaß zu machen! Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. So macht Essen auswärts wirklich Freude!

Sehr schönes Restaurant, in dem man leckeres Essen freundlich serviert bekommt. Die Preis haben eine relativ große Spanne, man kann aber auch schon für vergleichsweise wenig Geld sehr gute Gerichte.

Today was our first time at the Steyr in Zwickau, but definitely not the last time. Fast, friendly service, and our food didn't take long to arrive. It really tasted very good and the prices are reasonable, considering everything.

We had dinner there with the family in the evening, although we didn't have a reservation, we were given a large table where there was room for everyone. The food is really delicious. Our children had the Wiener Schnitzel from the children's menu. I have to say that the portions were quite decent. I would have liked something smaller and cheaper even for an adult. But still it was very nice, delicious food, very fresh and the waiter was also super nice. I can really only recommend it

Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bewirtung, Getränke und Speisen wurden in angemessener Zeit (ohne den Gast zu hetzen und ohne lange Wartezeit) serviert. Das Essen kam heiß auf den Tisch und war äußerst schmackhaft und reichlich. Das online-Bestell-System funktioniert einwandfrei. ...und als Gast wurde man nicht gedrängt, nach Einnahme der Speisen für andere Gäste Platz zu schaffen (wie bedauerlicher Weise heutzutage sehr oft üblich). Wir kommen sehr gern wieder und das Steyr ist sehr zu empfehlen. Danke für den schönen Abend an das ganze Team

Das Essen war mittelmäßig, der Service schlecht, die Einrichtung sehr schön.

Das Steyr hat ein wirklich schönes Ambiente zu bieten. Es wurde schon vorgewarnt, das das Essen ein wenig länger dauern könnte, doch ging es recht schnell. Das Essen war schön angerichtet und duftete auch verlockend, doch leider war es geschmacklich nicht meins. Das Zanderfilet war mein erstes Essen, was ich nachwürzen musste, weil es zu Fad geschmeckt hat. Das war für den Preis sehr schade. Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend, da gibt es nichts anzumerken. Verbesserungen und Luft nach oben gibt es was das Essen anbelangt.

Die angebotenen Speisen waren reichhaltig und haben sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt ebenso. Der Service lässt teilweise zu wünschen übrig. Überfordertes Personal und an diesem Abend eine unfreundliche "Unterstützung" aus der Küche. Wir waren zum Glück nicht das erste Mal da und wissen, dass es auch anders geht.

Ich war schon mehrfach Gast und wurde noch nie enttäuscht. Alles top. Dieses Restaurant kann ich nur empfehlen.

I was completely shocked last night! Steyr didn't remember Zwickau being so bad!!!! The waitresses didn't know what belonged at which table. The fruit schnapps was served in a whiskey glass. The main courses came on the smallest plates, "school kitchen sized" and TOTALLY overpriced! The dumplings were "dumplings" and the popular Kaiserschmarrn had no raisins involved, they were on the plate like that. I do NOT believe that the chef has ever been to Austria! We are totally disappointed and go home "blank"... We won't visit the restaurant again, it's a real shame!

You don't have to look for anything negative, we were more than satisfied. I tried 2 white wines in advance before ordering one, problem-free and very accommodating. We will be back. Thank you very much.

Man geht ja Essen um einen gemütlichen, schönen Abend als Paar, Freunde oder in Familien zu verbringen. Die Atmosphäre war eher, (21Uhr) es wäre schön wenn die Gäste jetzt schnell bezahlen und gehen... in einer Stunde schließen wir ja schließlich schon. Essen war eher in Fett schwimmend, gerade Bratkartoffeln sollten leicht angebraten sein. Kaiserschmarrn sieht zwar auf den ersten Blick gut aus, (das Auge isst ja mit...) aber die Qualität ist nicht so als müsste man dies wieder bestellen. Bei Eröffnung des Steyr in Zwickau war noch kein richtiges Team und es dauerte von 1Stunde 30min bis teilweise über 2Stunden bis das Essen kam. Wer die österreichische Küche kennt, weiß das es definitiv besser geht.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Personal war sehr freundlich und stets bemüht. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Essen und alles war wirklich mehr als außergewöhnlich. Punktabzug gab's jeglich für die Dauer des Desserts, die Platzwahl vom Personal in der letzten Ecke des Restaurant und in der heutigen Zeit sind 70€ für 2 Personen schon recht ordentlich.

And let alone the mixed salad (normal size, just classic size) an unbelievable €8.50!!!!!! Your changing table was shaking?! We have for: 2 beers (0.5l) 1 shandy (0.5l) 2 mixed salads 2 main courses with a side dish that cheekily costs extra Paid 88 euros.....and the portions are not overly large.... Hey, a bunch of waiters there... Reduced the waiters and 2 who really just cleared away and set up....and brought the prices down by 2-3 euros....so it was nice...

Ziemlich Preisintensiv aber dafür war des Essen hervorragend!

Die Haxe hätte noch ein paar Minuten im Backofen vertragen. Und die Bratkartoffeln waren eindeutig zu ölig/fettig. Das war beim letzten Mal viel besser.

Leider wahr der Styr Almgasthof für den Valentienstag keine so gute Wahl. Die Reserivierung über die das OpenTable Portal war super. Der Abend selbst aber nicht so. Obwohl ich dacht es sei mehr los, war doch noch der ein oder andere Tisch frei. Dafür hat es aber lange gedauert, bis wir unsere Getränke und erst recht das Essen hatten. Der Bestellte Nachtisch wurde dann direkt vergessen. Das wurde uns erst auf Nachfrage mitgeteilt und wurde dann von uns Storniert. Vielleicht war das dann auch der Grund warum es für die Frau kein Blümchen gab, obwohl alle anderen ein bekommen hatten. Alles in allem an sich nicht schlecht, aber die überschaubaren Portionsgrößen bei schon recht gehobenen Preisen und lange Wartezeit hat den Eindruck leider getrübt.

Es ist ein sehr schönes Ambiente und das Essen schmeckt sehr lecker. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Die Portionen sind z.T. sehr klein - z.B. sind die drei Spinat-Knödel mini. Wenn man da die Portionen aus Tirol gewohnt ist, wird man definitiv nicht satt. Wir haben mit ca. 1 1/2 Stunden sehr lang auf unser Essen gewartet. Einer der Servicekräfte war extrem unmotiviert und hatte scheinbar keinerlei Spaß am Job. Das Restaurant schließt Freitags bereits 22 Uhr,sodass für längere Freitag-Abend-Gespräche leider nicht viel Zeit ist.

Das Ambiente war ganz schön eingerichtet und hat an Osterreich erinnert. Das Essen war leider nicht wirklich gut gemacht und hat uns ziemlich enttäuscht. Außerdem waren die Gerichte für die Qualität auch enorm überteuert. Die Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam, lediglich auf die Getränke mussten wir verhältnismäßig lang warten. Insgesamt würden wir nicht nochmal hingehen.

Die Vorspeisen haben nicht so überzeugt aber die Hauptgerichte waren sehr gut. Die Kellnerin zeigte eine wenig motivierte Arbeitseinstellung.

The soup didn't taste like anything and neither did the vegetables in it... Plus the vegetables were really raw food... Brrr. The other starters were also not convincing. The main courses were sufficient in size, yes, but the taste was also lacking here. My schnitzel was breading, then more breading and at the end just breading... In between there was a thin slice of meat, which didn't taste like anything. Sorry guys, but there's a better way. You are welcome to increase the price by 3-5 euros, but please do so with more taste. The Kaiserschmarrn probably either came out of the package, or here again it was completely flavorless... But the plate was sufficiently filled and beautifully presented. All in all it was a wonderful evening. The service was great, the portions were generous, the drinks were served quickly and neatly, everything was perfect... And maybe you can argue about taste... Maybe, but for me there isn't enough of it.

The breading of the original Wiener Schnitzel was dry and the frying fat was probably no longer the freshest. The mixed dumpling plate gave the impression of a ready meal - edible but nothing special. The salad was tasty, but unfortunately it crunched a bit between my teeth. Table 151 was poorly lit - I had trouble reading the menu. Attentive service, kitchen solid but nothing more.

Last night I was at the Steyr in Zwickau for the first time. I was served in an absolutely courteous and friendly manner by a service person, I had a view of the kitchen from my seat and I could also observe a very pleasant team there. The food was really tasty but I still lost my appetite. An impossible dark-haired employee insulted, insulted and threatened the friendly lady. I could see other guests looking around. Here you can have a crime dinner. The service would have deserved 10 stars, but unfortunately I can only give the service 1 star due to the overall situation.

Zuerst das positive, sehr nette und freundliche Bedienung. Das negative, die Dreierlei Knödel waren roh und lauwarm, nur der Teller war heiß und das Gericht mit den Käse Spätzle hat nach Maggi geschmeckt, nicht frisch, eher wie ein fertig Gericht aus der Tüte.

Gutes österreichisches Essen, netter Service und schönes Ambiente. Wir kommen wieder.

Went here for dinner with 6 people. Really a very nicely decorated shop. The lady from the service was very nice and helpful and there was no waiting time. But it could have been because we were almost the only guests on a Thursday evening. Unfortunately, the prices on the card are completely excessive and this was not due to the increase in VAT because the card was visibly worn out. 9 euros for a broth, 8.50 euros for a side salad. The main courses (hocks, crusty roast, venison roulade, veal slices, etc.) are between 15 and 22 euros WITHOUT a side dish. This costs another 5.90 euros, even if it were just a few slices of bread. The food we ordered came quite quickly, but unfortunately that was about it in a positive way. 4 out of 6 men were seriously disappointed: the venison roulade was bland and a bit tough and the entire dish was just lukewarm. The 3 slices of bread dumplings were completely tasteless and the sauce was thin and bland. The “mushrooms of the season” were simple champions with onions. The knuckle was absolutely past its best and had probably been in the combi steamer for a few days and hours. No crust, and something between brown and gray in color. Boiled meat on the bone is probably more suitable than knuckle. The sliced ​​veal (EUR 22.50!!!! plus 5.90 for spaetzle as a side dish) came as if it had been tipped from a can onto the plate, briefly into the microwave, a bit of dried parsley on top and off to the table. That's exactly how it tasted. Unfortunately, nothing was fresh here, even if the waitress assured us that it was. Only the original Wiener Schnitzel looked good and tasted accordingly. We hoped to save the evening with dessert, but unfortunately the Kaiserschmarrn was only served lukewarm/cold. The taste was ok, but the finished vanilla sauce and the spray cream took away the rest of the shine, which was almost non-existent. In summary, I would say that the food was disappointing and consistently overpriced. The chef tries to imitate a cuisine he has no idea about. The whole thing has little to do with fresh preparation. It's a shame because the ambience and service was really great. But there is no reason to come again. The price-performance ratio simply doesn't fit.

We visited on a Sunday evening and the inn was moderately busy. We were given a very friendly welcome and consistently well and very friendly advice and hospitality. From a purely visual point of view, it's a beautiful inn that definitely has a bit of an Austrian feel to it. The waiting time for the starters was relatively short, but this is probably also due to the small number of guests. The food was consistently good and plentiful, but perhaps lacked some spice and that certain something. If I had to rate it I would say 7-8 out of 10 points. We will definitely come back again to try more dishes. The price is not exactly cheap, so you could expect a little more quality from the food.

My salad for 14 euros (consisted of a handful of lamb's lettuce, 2 half cherry tomatoes, counted pumpkin seeds and a few ham crumbs) was pimped with cheese (3 euros) and 3 slices of bread (5.90 euros). So my salad cost a whopping 23 euros cost! My husband had a crusty roast for 17.90 euros plus 5.90 for pale fried potatoes (= 24 euros) So no one has ever heard of calculation! And there are obviously no price increases due to the increased VAT yet! Desserts would have been nice but after waiting for the main course the kitchen was closed (even though we had already said before the main course that we wanted dessert) After this experience, we won't hope for a nice evening in Steyr again It's a shame: a good restaurant would enrich Zwickau We're definitely not coming back
