Die Preise sind einfach unglaublich, als wären wir in München. Dabei ist es doch Zwickau, und die Qualität ist unbeschreiblich. Schnitzel für 21,90 – ein Schnäppchen!

Wunderschönen Muttertag gefeiert. Super freundlicher Service, Essen super und schnell. Ambiente gefiel uns auch. Wir kommen wieder und werden Euch weiter empfehlen. Dankeschön an das gesamte Team.

Entspannte Atmosphäre. Freundliches Personal. Das Essen und die Portionsgrößen waren sehr gut. Preis & Leistung ist gut. Ich würde wieder hingehen.

Wir waren heute mit Freunden zu Besuch im Restaurant und fanden eine angenehme Atmosphäre, nettes Personal und gutes Essen vor. Alle Gerichte die serviert wurden waren Lecker 😋. Ob Wiener Schnitzel, Kaiserschmarren, Knödeltris, Käsespätzle oder Hirschroulade und Kürbiskernparfait , alles empfehlenswert. Beim nächsten mal werde ich die Hauptspeise etwas kleiner wählen, damit am Ende die Marillenknödl noch rein passen. Wir hatten vorher reserviert, was dank der Möglichkeit das es Online machbar ist kaum Aufwand gemacht hat. 👍🏻

We were out downtown on Good Friday looking for a nice cup of coffee. The Steyr was one of the few restaurants open and we received a friendly welcome. Kaiserschmarrn and coffee were wonderful. The price and the ambience were also right. We'd love to come back.

Were there with a large group. The food tasted good and the service was friendly. The ambience is very nice. We can recommend the homemade lemonades. The evening wasn't cheap - but where else is it cheap these days? I can recommend the restaurant.

Great atmosphere. We had a platter for two. Large selection, but unfortunately the bread wasn't fresh.

Unfortunately, I have to leave a bad review. We went there for dinner. The food was unfortunately only mediocre for the already high price. We also had the unpleasant experience of the waiter spilling a Wild Berry Lillet on one of our friends. Okay... it can happen. However, you have to handle it professionally, which unfortunately didn't happen. When we asked about the bill, we were unfortunately offered no discount and no apology. Bottom line: €130 for four people for food and drinks. Unfortunately, we also paid €45 for a new T-shirt and €80 pair of trousers. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant.

The visit was an absolute failure. Right at the start, the waiter poured a tray of drinks including Lillet with red berries over my T-shirt and pants. Unfortunately I can now throw away my white T-shirt. Of course mistakes can happen, but the way they were handled is absolutely substandard. No rags or napkins were offered. The table wasn't wiped down, the old napkins were just left lying around. Finally, after demanding the full invoice amount, we asked for a discount. The only offer was to leave the clothes there and the items would go to the laundry. Unfortunately, since I didn't have a change of pants, that wasn't an option. Overall the service was an absolute disaster. I'm really disappointed. Treating guests like this is simply not appropriate. There is nothing positive to report about the food either. Everything is pretty tasteless. The spaetzle comes out of the bag. The rest wasn't good either. I would really have liked someone to be more forthcoming. If I could I would have given 0 stars.

Very good food, very friendly service. Something definitely needs to be done and that is to put blackouts on the windows when the sun is shining. Very warm and very uncomfortable. Actually unbearable.

There were four of us and it was our first time there. The staff is very friendly, also very young and seemed a little inexperienced (4 service staff served us, one dish and one drink were taken incorrectly but were taken back without any problem). The food was well prepared, tasted good and filled us up. All in all good average but nothing special so we probably won't come here again.

I had roast beef, which was unfortunately already cold. I wouldn't put the fresh salad on the same plate because it is usually cold, but it was lukewarm and therefore a bit soggy from the sauce. Otherwise I have nothing to complain about.

Best brawn I've ever eaten, relatively inexpensive

Finally a restaurant that offers hot food all the time, wonderful if you want to have lunch a little later. Traditional Alpine food, very tasty and the prices are justified. The dessert: Vanilla parfait with pumpkin scramble, plentiful and wonderful. Nice ambience, rustic and cozy. We would love to come back.

The food was ok, but unfortunately something went wrong with the rest of the food. Unfortunately, the behavior was unprofessional.

Unfortunately I won't be able to go today or tomorrow. Had a pork knuckle that had been reheated at least 3 times, far dry and cooked to death. The sauce was something ready-made, still diluted, from Kn or Ma. The sauerkraut was the pinnacle of retribution. Thickened so much that the consistency was reminiscent of mashed potatoes. The dumplings weren't fully steamed. My girlfriend had Wiener Schnitzel. The breading was so thick that you couldn't taste any of the veal and didn't need a side dish. There was no taste of the salt and pepper seasoning either. My invited guest had salmon spaetzle...It was edible now, but manageable. The second guest didn't have any negative comments about it, but he isn't necessarily known as a foodie either. The Sachertorte was just dry and tasteless. When serving espressos, it helps immensely to preheat the 1cm thick cup, e.g. with warm water (a little tip from the expert), so that it is not already cold when served. You can't help it that the ceiling height is 4 m, but with a room temperature of 18 -20 degrees, you should at least manage not to serve food and hot drinks cold. Tighten up and change something. The level may be enough for the Zwickau soup proletariat, but it has nothing to do with sophisticated food culture. Too bad about the money

Went to dinner in Steyr today, got a voucher as a gift, service was very good, nice staff, quick and courteous, food was also very good. Unfortunately, the voucher was no longer valid and is only valid for 12 months. Unfortunately the buyer was not informed of this when purchasing it. It is written in very small print on the voucher. So if you want to buy a voucher here you should know.

We were there for dinner and it was a lovely evening. The atmosphere is typical of an Almhasthof, the young man in service was super friendly, asked questions and the food came after a reasonable time. The price is totally fair, our food tasted great and was very plentiful. The Kaiserschmarrn is incredibly delicious and we were asked whether it was with or without raisins. We'll definitely be back.

Very nice restaurant in the heart of the city of Zwickau. The employees are all super friendly and the service is top notch. The large windows are also great. Absolutely lovely ambience. You could make it a little more comfortable. But that's really just a minor point of criticism.

The Almgasthof is located right in the center of Zwickau and is furnished in a really rustic and cozy manner. The staff was very friendly and the food was ok. A good mood is guaranteed in the photo box!!

Unser 1. Besuch in der Lokation war durchweg positiv. Ambiente, Bedienung, Essen... alles sehr zu empfehlen. Das besondere an unserem Tisch war die Möglichkeit, den Mitarbeitern in der Küche bei ihrer Arbeit zusehen zu können (durch den Ausgabetresen) ... das war äußerst interessant.

Otherwise, I think the ambience could still be improved, apart from a few small antlers I didn't get any alpine hut flair☺️, the service was dressed in black and the tables were kept rather clean, I think there's a bit more that could be done. ☺️ But all in all a delicious, solid restaurant that will happily last longer than its predecessors 👍

Casual atmosphere. Friendly staff. Food tastes very fine. A little more recent mountain cheese in the cheese spaetzle would have been an advantage. But overall reasonable portion sizes. Prices are rather in the upper segment, especially for the starters. We would still like to come back😉

The ambience is a matter of taste, we had a table directly in front of the kitchen where the food was served, it was more of a canteen atmosphere. The service was friendly but not professional. Drink prices are local. I find the prices for the food to be too high. I had Wiener Schnitzel with potato salad. The food was freshly prepared. Unfortunately there was a lack of seasoning, luckily there was a dip with the schnitzel. I found the breading of the schnitzel to be too coarse. Portion size is normal. The kitchen actually closes at 9 p.m. and the end of work was announced at 10:30 p.m. with the question of one last round. Overall it wasn't a failure but I wouldn't visit the restaurant again.

The food was great, especially the cheese spaetzle was really great. The atmosphere is also very nice, a mix of quaint and modern. Unfortunately the service was a big disappointment. We had very long waiting times and were hardly served. It's a shame, there's more potential!

Was there for my birthday because I wanted something different than usual. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. The food was ok, but really not much for the prices they were charging and we were the only ones in the restaurant. Only when we were almost finished did another group of guests arrive. My tip: eat somewhere else, unfortunately it's not worth it here.

Unfortunately, one can only agree with the other recessions. The food is absolutely overpriced and of poor quality. Unfortunately it has little to do with Austrian cuisine. Ambience is okay, service was attentive.

Despite the Christmas market, we were still able to get a wonderful table for 10 people for Saturday. The waitresses are super friendly. Portions are huge and the price-performance ratio is absolutely ok. Despite the full house, the waiting time was surprisingly short. I think it's great that the offer isn't so overloaded and you have to wade through 10 pages of maps. Only the menus are not easy to read in the interior lighting. Simply change the font size for the next layout. This is not a criticism, just a suggestion for improvement! Thanks for everything and see you next time!

Die Location hat Stil, der Service ist freundlich und flott, Nachfrage beim Gast, ob alles zur Zufriedenheit - hervorragend, Getränke werden nach Bestellung umgehend serviert, die Speisen sehen nicht nur ansprechend aus, sie sind auch sehr schmackhaft. In order to try something out in Zwickau that I didn't know yet, I spontaneously decided to go here with my daughter. Luckily we got a table. So next time it’s more likely to make a reservation. What can I say good service, varied menu, fair prices, good food. What more could you want? Since I know people who are affected and occasionally go out with them, it would be good to offer meals that are gluten-free. Still very happy with full marks

A little piece of Austria in Zwickau. Anyone who has ever been to the Tyrolean area will feel transported back to the region with the delicacies on offer. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The ambience of the restaurant fits the theme of “Almgasthof” and can rightly be called that. Now the most important thing: the food! Das Essen ist sehr gut. Bei berechtigten Beschwerden über mehrere verwelkte Blätter in zwei Limonade wurde ein Preisnachlass gewährt. Aber!!! Diese verwelkten Blätter wurden im Essen, welches von einer Person nicht vollständig aufgegessen wurde, in dex Box mitgegeben. Das ist äußerst frech und unprofessionell. Da weiß man auch nicht, was sonst untergemischt wird?

We sat outside in the warm September sun and enjoyed the ambience. The service was really very good. We asked several times, everyone was wonderfully friendly. The food was absolutely outstanding. The spaetzle was very tasty. The pike perch with a pumpkin seed crust is a delight. Food, service and ambience are absolutely appropriate for the prices.

We are very satisfied! At first glance you might be shocked when you see the prices for the supplements. Aaaber: Everything is justified and well thought out. We were completely full and the food was very tasty. It's actually a good idea that the guest can put together their own main course. We think it's the best. Very important, in the end (on the bill) the price matches the delicious food, beautiful ambience and great service. There is absolutely nothing to complain about. Even our dog was given a bowl of water without us asking. It's nice that Zwickau has another recommended dining establishment. We will definitely be back and please keep it up.

The spaetzle with beef was okay, but the price-performance ratio wasn't right at all. The Kaiserschmarrn was the worst I've ever eaten and I wouldn't even describe it that way. They were cardboardy, pillow-like cubes, the raisins were simply sprinkled dry on top and they simply tasted like cardboard layered on top. Terrible, never again and this price too!!! 😝
