War heute erstmalig in diesem Restaurant. Ich war angenehm überrascht. Schönes Ambiente, flotter höflicher Service. Die Karte bietet für jeden Gast das passende. Preise in Ordnung.

Unser 1. Besuch in der Lokation war durchweg positiv. Ambiente, Bedienung, Essen... alles sehr zu empfehlen. Das besondere an unserem Tisch war die Möglichkeit, den Mitarbeitern in der Küche bei ihrer Arbeit zusehen zu können (durch den Ausgabetresen) ... das war äußerst interessant.

Super Bedienung! Leider an kalten Tagen, im vorderen Bereich ungemütlich, durch die oft aufgehende Eingangstür. Das Essen ist gut, aber ohne die überteuerten Beilagen zu wenig.

Wir waren umfänglich zufrieden - tolles Ambiente, sehr freundliche und schnelle Bedienung. Das Essen war geschmacklich und optisch sehr gut. Wir kommen wieder!

Das Essen war suuuper lecker & reichlich. Preis & Leistung sind vollkommen Ordnung. Das Team war sehr freundlich, schnell & fragte nach, ob noch etwas gewünscht wird. Es war ein rundum gelungenes Mittagessen am 1. Weihnachtsfeiertag.

Wir lieben dieses Ambiente, das Essen, einfach alles, es war wie immer sehr schön. Eine schöne Einstimmung auf Weihnachten.

Despite the Christmas market, we were still able to get a wonderful table for 10 people for Saturday. The waitresses are super friendly. Portions are huge and the price-performance ratio is absolutely ok. Despite the full house, the waiting time was surprisingly short. I think it's great that the offer isn't so overloaded and you have to wade through 10 pages of a map. Only the menus are not easy to read in the interior lighting. Simply change the font size for the next layout. This is not a criticism, just a suggestion for improvement! Thanks for everything and see you next time!

Die Location hat Stil, der Service ist freundlich und flott, Nachfrage beim Gast, ob alles zur Zufriedenheit - hervorragend, Getränke werden nach Bestellung umgehend serviert, die Speisen sehen nicht nur ansprechend aus, sie sind auch sehr schmackhaft. Ein Lokal, in das ich jederzeit sehr gern komme und so nur empfehlen kann. Macht weiter so, großes Lob an das gesamte Team

In order to try something out in Zwickau that I didn't know yet, I spontaneously decided to go here with my daughter. Luckily we got a table. So next time it’s more likely to make a reservation. What can I say good service, varied menu, fair prices, good food. What more could you want? Since I know people who are affected and occasionally go out with them, it would be good to offer meals that are gluten-free. Still very happy with full marks

A little piece of Austria in Zwickau. Anyone who has ever been to the Tyrolean area will feel transported back to the region with the delicacies on offer. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The ambience of the restaurant fits the theme of “Almgasthof” and can rightly be called that. Now the most important thing: the food! It tastes like Austria! Hats off to you for this achievement.

Das Essen ist sehr gut. Bei berechtigten Beschwerden über mehrere verwelkte Blätter in zwei Limonade wurde ein Preisnachlass gewährt. Aber!!! Diese verwelkten Blätter wurden im Essen, welches von einer Person nicht vollständig aufgegessen wurde, in dex Box mitgegeben. Das ist äußerst frech und unprofessionell. Da weiß man auch nicht, was sonst untergemischt wird?

We sat outside in the warm September sun and enjoyed the ambience. The service was really very good. We asked several times, everyone was wonderfully friendly. The food was absolutely outstanding. The spaetzle was very tasty. The pike perch with a pumpkin seed crust is a delight. Food, service and ambience are absolutely appropriate for the prices.

We are very satisfied! At first glance you might be shocked when you see the prices for the supplements. Aaaber: Everything is justified and well thought out. We were completely full and the food was very tasty. It's actually a good idea that the guest can put together their own main course. We think it's the best. Very important, in the end (on the bill) the price matches the delicious food, beautiful ambience and great service. There is absolutely nothing to complain about. Even our dog was given a bowl of water without us asking. It's nice that Zwickau has another recommended dining establishment. We will definitely be back and please keep it up.

Price performance is unacceptable! Service completely overloaded! And last but not least, you should check the invoice carefully. It is deeply disappointing for every lover of Austria! Absolutely not recommended!!!

The spaetzle with beef was okay, but the price-performance ratio wasn't right at all. The Kaiserschmarrn was the worst I've ever eaten and I wouldn't even describe it that way. They were cardboardy, pillow-like cubes, the raisins were simply sprinkled dry on top and they simply tasted like cardboard layered on top. Terrible, never again and this price too!!! 😝

Due to the city festival there was little going on in the Almgasthof, which is why we can't complain about the service. The two ladies were attentive and were regularly at our table. The food was good, nothing particularly special, but everyone enjoyed it. There is a vegetarian selection, but nothing for vegans. We sat by the window in the corner, which in itself was a really nice place. Unfortunately, there were a dozen dead animals on the low window sill, from dragonflies to flies to wasps. This should be noticed and cleaned regularly. It's not such a pretty sight for guests.

It was just great. The food was very, very tasty, the portions were large and sufficient. The explanations provided by the service were very good and helpful. The ambience is simply great. It was a lovely 91st birthday. We'll definitely be back. 👍

Last night I ate Wiener Schnitzel with Styrian potato salad and got really bad diarrhea that night. This has happened to other guests too. Unfortunately I've only just read it now. P.S. Was my only meal that day!!!!

Meine Frau hatte das Wiener Schnitzel mit Erdapfelsalat. In der Nacht bekam sie Durfall und war seit dem über 20x auf der Toilette. Ich bin verschont geblieben, war aber mit meinem Tiroler Geröstel unzufrieden. Es handelte sich um Bratkartoffeln mit Speck, die dazugehörigen Rindfleisch Würfel konnte ich leider nicht entdecken. Ich hatte den Kellner mit der Bitte angesprochen, die Küche zu befragen, warum das so ist. Leider haben wir auch bei der Bezahlung keine Info dazu bekommen. Angeblich hätte sich der Koch dazu noch nicht geäußert.

The reception was very bumpy because they wanted to put us in the last corner where there was only so much air! The reason given by the staff and restaurant manager was that it was not yet possible to estimate how many guests would still come. More or less there were about 20 of us sitting there Guests were there and there were still over 80 places available! The ordering process went very well. Our order came very quickly, the drinks and our snack were excellent! What was very annoying afterwards was that people constantly asked if everything was still OK! If the child has already fallen into the well, you shouldn't try to do anything well anymore! To get to the point: you should treat your guests better with the welcome and other hospitality! The range of food, drinks and prices are very good!

Side dish was charged extra, even though it was previously stated that a side dish was included in the price. Almost 30€ was far too expensive for the little meal with 0.1 wine. Price/performance is not recommended.

What good is a nice environment and a nice decor if the food and the prices don't match at all. That means: far too expensive and the quality left a lot to be desired. You also noticed that the dishes had been ready for some time before they were served.

Schwarte vom Schweinebraten lapprig, Dunkelbiersoße zu hell, dick und schmeckte nicht nach Dunkelbier bzw. sie passt nicht dazu. Gibt es bei anderen bessere Soße! Die Knödel die man extra dazu bestellen muss ( für viel Geld ) sind durch das dazu verwendete Brot bitter da das Brot mit Kümmel ist! Passt nicht so da sehe man den ich eher die normalen besser dazu passen! Das hat nix mit Österreich zu tun! Und wenn man schon Beilagen extra bezahlen muss dann könnte das ganze etwas günstiger sein!

Basically ok, but for me it's more of the once and not again category. If you want to have a say, you have to try it out, that's my motto. The ambience is good, furnishings are rustic as expected, lots of wood, everything is good. The location at the main market in Zwigge was also very nice, with a window seat towards the market there was nothing to complain about from the table. Service was ok, but not outstanding, you can tell that the team is rather mixed up, doesn't have much experience, but everything worked well, everyone was friendly. The food is reminiscent of German cuisine, I also get knuckle, schnitzel, fried chicken and zander elsewhere. I would have really liked a few other specialties from the neighboring country, especially since the menu is very clear. What you have to be aware of is that the dishes seem to have all been flown in, at least that's what the price suggests. For a tough veal schnitzel in the puny category, 20 euros plus almost 6 euros for a side dish is steep. The taste was ok, but not great either. There are garden pubs that can do this much better and cheaper. Anyone who says, yes, but they have a lot to do, something can go wrong, of course it can, but at the best time, Friday evening, only having 4 tables occupied in the restaurant does not show that the kitchen crew is overexerted, but rather that other people have had similar experiences and word is getting around. So expensive doesn't have to be good. Anyone who wants to have a say should give it a try.

The food was quite good. I had the cheese platter, my husband had the knuckle. I hadn't eaten all day so I was really hungry, but looking at the portion I didn't think I'd be full. But in the end it was completely sufficient. The bread was really good. The knuckle was a large portion with extra gravy. Personally, I found the dumplings too dry, but still tasty. The restaurant is also beautifully decorated. Food and drinks came really quickly. But I don't know what was wrong with the waitress. Obviously had a bad day. There was hardly anything going on, so you can take the time to say a nice word to the paying guest, especially if you still get a good tip. And not even a thank you for that. When we said goodbye (because decency requires it) as we left the restaurant, even that was ignored. That doesn't work! The lady really wasn't particularly friendly. This can be expanded.

We ate delicious food and drank delicious lemonades. Service staff friendly and careful. We were with you for the second time and would come again and again.

My grandmother wanted to sit outside with you even though everything was free and waited for my mother so that she could eat with you. You sent them away!!!! Kudos to the kitchen, the food is really very good and served damn quickly. The ambience is amazing, you really feel like you're in Austria. At the back of the toilets there is a great photo box with all the accessories and you can send the photo by email. There is a star deduction for the unfriendly conditions.
