We got a table here at short notice after our hike and were thrilled. Food and service were very good at a reasonable price-performance ratio.

We were there for breakfast. Visually very appealing location. The breakfast selection was very clear and not very appealing. Filter coffee, which really tasted good, and tea are included in the price. There were chairs around the "buffet table" so that you couldn't really get to the table. The products were also not labeled, which e.g. B. is not ideal for allergy sufferers. There is no fresh fruit. The location was not heated and therefore it was very cold and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, absolutely nothing special!

It was okay. I wouldn't go there again. The food is average. The burger sauces were ketchup and mayonnaise packets. Oh well. We've had enough.

There were 4 of us and everyone was completely satisfied with the quality and taste of the dishes (only the cappucino could be better). The prices are OK and the staff pleasant and friendly. We were definitely not here for the last time.

The price-performance ratio was really extremely good. Super delicious food and friendly service. From the outside it didn't look that comfortable at first, but we had a really nice table with a larger group. It definitely wasn't the last time there.

Good food in a pleasant atmosphere, the breakfast buffet is highly recommended. The consistently clean conditions of the sanitary facilities are absolutely outstanding and commendable.

Had to wait a long time between the starter and the main course.

Die Vorspeise beim Abendessen war echt gut. Wir hatten Bruscetta. Frisch und lecker. Aber dann kam der Hauptgang... nach fast 50 Minuten... wir hatten einen Pulled Pork Burger und einen Beef Cheese Burger und eine Portion Pommes. Die Burger sahen lieblos aus, waren beide Lauwarm bis Kalt und haben einfach nach nichts geschmeckt. Das pulled Pork hätte gut sein können, wenn es heiß gewesen wäre. Der Beefpattie, war eine fertiger Presspattie und nicht frisch und auch fast kalt. Die Pommes waren sowas von übersalzen, nicht mehr normal... War unser zweites Erlebnis und auch das letzte Mal.

Das Angebot war sehr vielfältig und lecker. Es wurde immer rasch aufgefüllt. Das einzige was nicht so lecker war,war das Rührei. Sehr wässrig.(Packungsware?) Das lassen wir beim nächsten Besuch weg. Ansonsten alles super

Essen war wie gewohnt sehr gut! Rippchen und Pulled Pork nur zu empfehlen! Service auch sehr gut! Aber warum nicht volle Punktzahl? Wir hatten für 2 Personen reserviert nd wurden trotz relativ leeren Restaurant, an einen kleinen Tisch direkt neben anderen Gästen gesetzt, die Lautstark sich austauschten, obwohl x Tische frei waren! Dies ist uns schon zum zweiten Mal passiert! Schade, daher beendeten wir den Abend recht schnell!

Sunday brunch: Large breakfast and lunch buffet, cereal, ice cream, croissants, sweets, etc. Drinks (soft drinks, juices, sparkling wine, water and coffee) included. Friendly and competent service. A visit is highly recommended!

Top location. Service top. Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Negativ: Qualität des Essen sollte vielleicht den Preisen angepasst werden, oder anders rum. Jedenfalls zu teuer für das, was man geboten bekommt.

Sehr gute, persönliche Bedienung, hervorragendes Essen, kurz gefaßt : alles so, wie man sich ein Abendessen am Neujahrstag wünscht.

Unfortunately we were disappointed. The cocktail we ordered was in a tiny glass, just half the height of the 0.3l cola glass. For €7.50 it was cheeky in my opinion. The food was mixed - the salad was tasty, but the chicken strips ordered with it were dry and only lukewarm. Even the supposedly home-baked bread seemed anything but fresh… the pulled pork was good. The staff was friendly, although we were moved again after receiving our drinks because apparently something needed to be prepared in our area. The visit might have received 3 stars, but I found it too expensive for that. The prices didn't match the quality of the food. Too bad!

Das Stellwerk ist einer meiner Lieblingsrestaurants. Das Preis- und Leistugsverhältnis des Frühstück- und Brunchbereiches ist kaum zu. Es ist bei jedem Besuch immer lecker gewesen und bietet eine reichhaltige Auswahl. Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich. Ich gehe immer wieder gerne hin. Diese Woche bin ich sogar zwei Mal dort.

Waren heute wieder mit der gesamten Familie zum Frühstück. Alles war sehr stimmig, frische Brötchen und sehr nett hergerichtete Aufschnittplatten (Wurst, Käse, Gemüse). Kaffee hat total lecker geschmeckt.

Sehr einfache Möglichkeit der Online-Reservierung, netter Empfang und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Prompte und zügige Essensbereitung. Es schmeckte sehr gut.

Schade. Super Konzept aber... keiner kommt an den Tisch und fragt nach Getränken die nicht frei zugänglich sind. Oder ob etwas fehlt oder man zufrieden ist ob man sich auskennt oder der gleichen. .. Essen ist alles fertig bzw aus der Tüte oder Tetrapack, abgepackt. Tomaten geviertelt ? Wieso nicht in schreiben? Was soll ich mit vierteln zum früstück ? Alles schmeckt langweilig, Tische kleben Ecken sind dreckig und verstaubt. Personal sah üsselig aus, schuhe wie aus dem Wald.

The rooms are very large and cool. Not pleasant. My partner had chicken breast with fries. The meat was VERY hard and chewy. The fries with her and everything else is good. A friend had currywurst with fries. The curry sauce was made from water, ketchup with a pinch of mild curry powder. The sausage 08/15. Cruel court. I had spare ribs with fries. The spare ribs were perfect. The meat falls off the bone on its own. It was very tender and tasty. There were two sauces. Delicious. The waitress seemed like an untrained but friendly lady. Price/performance: grade 4- All in all: NEVER AGAIN

The food is very good but unfortunately not enough to fill you up.

Very chic and tastefully furnished restaurant, which suggests first class. Unfortunately, the food was an absolute failure and tasted very bad. The portions look nice but are too small for the price. All in all, we will not be coming back and would advise against visiting. In the end it's about the “food” and not about the ambience - a shame

Zum Essen: Leider der Gargrad beim Burger verfehlt! Ambiente: Wir hatten reserviert und obwohl viel Platz im Restaurant wurden wir an einen „Katzentisch“ gesetzt! War zwar ausreichend, aber man hat ja gerne etwas mehr Platz! Ansonsten sehr liebevolle Bedienung!

Quite okay, breakfast buffet was good, sometimes there could have been a little more selection. But ultimately there is something for everyone.

Cocktail evening in the signal box in Meckenheim with a bitter ending! Cocktails delicious, service at the bar too, there's nothing to complain about, on the contrary, we had a great evening... IF it wasn't... The fun stopped when you paid. We had 2 cocktails on the bill that we hadn't ordered (and didn't receive). We had to pay them. The boss became very, very unfriendly and almost choleric. We explained the situation in a friendly manner. She kept interrupting us and laughing at us! We paid the money including tips for the boys but will never visit this shop again and will not recommend it to others. Total rip off!

We had breakfast in the signal box and by 10 a.m. the buffet was basically emptied. The food was very simple and manageable. Baked rolls and hardly any choice. Although the price is unbeatable for the buffet and the service staff were friendly, we were very disappointed.

Es war unerträglich laut. Kaffee aus dem Automaten, aufgewärmt Brötchen, abgeepackter Käse (nicht frisch).Wie wir ankamen war gar jein Käse mehr da. Ich bin total enttäuscht.

Die Auswahl ist ok aber nichts außergewöhnliches. Das nachlegen hat teilweise recht lange gedauert. Für den Preis ist es angemessen.

Super friendly staff, but unfortunately the food is completely overpriced. Lots of frozen goods and otherwise bland and nothing special.

We were there for brunch on Sunday. First the positive: there are enough parking spaces, friendly staff, cozy location. What struck me as very negative: The food wasn't worth the money. No salmon, no unusual cold cuts, scrambled eggs overcooked, eggs dry and hard, packaged jam, packaged cheese, etc. And last but not least, we had a voucher for 3x brunch. WITHOUT STATEMENT OF VALUE. At the end we wanted to give the girls a tip, but we were made aware that we would have to pay an additional €6. The reason was a price increase and an increase in VAT. Since the voucher was only a few months old, we were surprised. We spoke to the boss about it and she said that although it was a voucher without a price, it was our problem and not hers! It's a shame, because of this reaction we won't be able to go to the signal box anymore, not even for a cocktail in the evening!

Beautiful historic train station with an attractively decorated restaurant. The food was delicious. We had pulled pork from the smoker, fries and salad. Prices moderate. Can also be reached by train.

Es wurde ein wirklich sehr vielseitig und gutes Frühstücksbuffet und später Mittagsbuffet angeboten. Die Auswahl von Müsli, Brötchen, Croissants, Wurst, Käse , Antipasti, Rührei, Bratwürste war vielfältig und wurde stets schnell nachgelegt. Das Mittagsangebot war auch sehr gut. Getränke sind von Kaffee, Tee, Säfte , Cola.....im Preis i begriffen. Das Personal war freundlich und auf Zack. Wir kommen wieder. Danke

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, dass Frühstück war sehr gut. Was zu bemängeln war, die Tassen waren nicht richtig sauber und die Toilette ließ auch zu wünschen übrig. Ansonsten:Top

Nettes Restaurant. Man kann hier gut frühstücken. Die angebotenen Speisen sind frisch und werden ständig nachgefüllt. Leider waren Rührei und Speck nur lauwarm. Lobenswert zu erwähnen ist, dass Kaffee im Frühstückspreis von 14,50 € inklusive ist. Die Toiletten sind leider nicht so positiv. Abgeranzte Möbel bei den Herren und bei der Sauberkeit Defizite.

Went here today at 4:30 p.m. with 5 people. Based on “My local, your local” and the reviews, which are generally ok. Unfortunately very disappointed. Less than 10 minutes after ordering, everything was at the table. Everything was ready lukewarm, I've never had fries that were ready straight away, and the chicken nuggets were also lukewarm. It's a shame that everything, spare ribs, beef brisket and pulled pork, has been prepared for a long time, all the meat was very dry, only the basic taste was really delicious 😋 😋. There isn't much going on at this time, but that doesn't justify the fact that the employees, including the boss, are busy with their cell phones and sometimes ignore the guests while smoking outside on the terrace. Maybe all the employees here should watch and learn at Ash in Troisdorf

Were there with friends and children. Eating and drinking very tasty. Service very friendly and competent. Price/performance very good. Highly recommended in our opinion.

The service was hard-working and attentive, you really can't complain about anything here. The ambience was quite open and a bit empty as there were few people there on a Saturday evening. It's okay and definitely suitable for larger groups. The reason for the emptiness in the restaurant is probably the kitchen. We had the spare ribs and the beef brisket. Both advertised as being from the smoker. The short version: you probably forgot about it. Just like doing the rest, I quickly threw together some of the things I had bought. The beef brisket, which is actually characterized by juicy, falling apart meat, was drier than the fried fries. Meat juice or any juicy, delicate flavors were nowhere to be found. It was probably once on the smoker and then slowly thawed again when we ordered and was then completely dry. My ribs looked similar and the Cawl Slow was simply tipped out of the Metro box into a bowl. The only positive thing I can highlight here are the beans with the beef brisket, which were acceptable. And the drinks. They were really good!

Immer wieder lecker, freundliche Bedienung und ein nettes Ambiente, das lediglich von der gelegentlichen Dieselbahn und dem Straßenverkehr vermiest wird...aber schließlich ist es ja ein Stellwerk am Bahnhof...😉

Unsere Familie trifft sich regelmäßig zum Mittagessen im „Stellwerk“ - daran ist ja schon zu erkennen, dass wir alle rundum zufrieden sind. Gestern war es sogar der Auftakt zu einer Geburtstagsfeier.

Uncomplicated online table reservation, very friendly staff and reasonable prices. Our food came quickly and what can I say: it was delicious! Big compliments to the kitchen. We'll definitely come back.

Bedienung sehr freundlich, mein bestellter Cesar Salad mit Rind und Hähnchen war bisher jedes mal sehr lecker. Auch der erwartete Lärm von den Zügen und Schienen ist ausgeblieben, ein schönes Ambiente wie ich finde. Auch das BBQ Buffet Mittwochs abends jedes mal sehr lecker. Die Mitarbeiter hinter dem Grill jedes mal sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Alles in allem gehe ich sehr gerne und regelmäßig dort essen. Meine Kinder werden auch sehr lieb und herzlich behandelt

Wir waren am Abend zum BBQ Special im Stellwerk gewesen und wurden hervorragend Bewirtet. Das Team hinterm Grill war sehr zuvorkommend und hat uns herzlich in empfang genommen und beraten. Die Auswahl der Speisen war umfangreich ,Frisch und hat uns umgehauen. Das Highlight unserer Meinung nach war der Smoker der in betrieb war, wo man sehen und Riechen konnte das hier frisch geräuchert wurde. Alles in allem ein gelungener Abend und wir werden auf jeden fall wieder kommen. Klare Empfehlung!

Ambience is very nice. The service was nice too. Had a salad plate and fettucine. The salad was already pretty limp, so it wasn't quite as fresh anymore. The pasta sauce wasn't quite to our taste either.

Went to Sunday brunch. Unfortunately, I walked to the buffet several times in vain because various dishes were out of stock and it took some time until they were refilled. The clearing of used dishes was also not handled satisfactorily and sometimes required a hint to the staff. Another visit to the signal box on August 16, 2024, this time for dinner. A completely different picture, this time everything was exemplary. Good food, top staff and service. Now my thumb is pointing up, keep it up.

Perfect all around. Had 45 minutes between consultation appointments. The quick lunch was ready in 38 minutes and for 13.50. Great staff and fantastic kibbelings.

Service was great, but the food didn't blow us away. We had burgers, the meat wasn't of good quality and some of the fries were already brown because they had apparently been in the deep fryer for too long.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Benutztes Geschirr wurde, nach einer Frage ob es abgeräumt werden kann, sofort mitgenommen. Fehlende Speisen wurden rechtzeitig nachgelegt.

Former train station building converted into a restaurant. A nice eye-catcher from the street. The inside is also very nice and chic. There is also an outdoor terrace almost all around. Behind the building you can watch the regional train coming and going. Train lovers will love this. The food and drinks are very good. The service is very friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely come by again.

Located directly at the train station, good parking situation, so there is enough available. Nice service, cuisine so-so...we had salads, vegetarian burgers, schnitzel and poultry. The fries were oversalted, the salad had a lot of brown spots, so it wasn't quite as fresh anymore. The men's room speaks volumes...dead insects on the windowsill, a partition between the urinals that moves out of the wall...actually a nice shop that perhaps needs a little more attention here and there. No risk of repetition :-(

Das Essen war hervorragend. Wir hatten Freunde mitgebracht auch diese haben gesagt hier waren wir nicht das letzte Mal. Das Essen war heiß, sehr gut gewürzt und sah sehr appetitlich aus.

Das Essen kommt schnell und heiß auf den Tisch. Burger sind im Moment beim Stellwerk unser Favorit.

Wir waren um 10 Uhr dort und leider wurde das Buffet nicht aufgefüllt, sodass bereits kein Brot, Saft, Obst usw. und auch keine tiefen oder kleine Teller mehr da waren . Auf Nachfrage kam dann etwas Orangensaft- der Rest fehlte nach wie vor . Wir wurden kein einziges Mal vom Servicepersonal nach anderen Wünschen befragt- Schade.

There were 16 people in the signal box and the food and cocktails were very good and we had little waiting time. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I can definitely recommend the burgers, schnitzels and cocktails.

We went to the signal box for the breakfast buffet. The buffet is sufficient and there is something for everyone. The price-performance ratio is top. We enjoyed it and would love to come back! Then we also have some sparkling wine ;) The atmosphere is also very nice and the service is very friendly.

Spare ribs were grilled absolutely dead (totally dry). Service offered new ones or a drink on the house.

Buffet food is absolutely not recommended. For 35 euros per person it was very disappointing. Customer service was also non-existent.

Ich kann diese Gastronomie nur empfehlen. Zur EM2024 wurde zu dem eine perfekte Übertragung des Fussballspiels im Wintergarten ermöglicht

Essen sehr gut, Service sehr gut, Geräuschpegel hoch, ist ja auch eine "Bahnhofshalle" und kein Romantik-Restaurant.

Leider hat uns das Buffet nicht so gefallen. Zum einen fehlte die Beschriftung der Speisen z.b.bei der Marmelade, dem Quark usw.und die Qualität hat uns auch nicht überzeugt. Es wirkte als wenn alles schon länger frischgehalten wurde ( Obstsalat braune Stellen, Ei trocken) und wir waren zur Eröffnung dort.

Sind zum Brunch mit der Familie da gewesen. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis war durchaus angemessen. Des Empfang war freundlich und der anschließende Service nicht zu aufdringlich. Haben uns wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. 👍🏻
