Unfortunately we were not satisfied with our stay as there were some points that could have been easily improved. On the one hand, in a house like the Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof you expect professionalism, which was ruined by the DU at the reception when you were greeted. At breakfast we were brought to the table by the waiter, but we were not asked if we would like to drink coffee. It wasn't until we raised our hands after 20 minutes that we weren't served very enthusiastically. Neither housekeeping nor reception could be reached via the telephones in the room, even after several attempts. The room was nice, but unfortunately it hadn't been used for a long time (we suspect) because everything was very dusty. At almost €500 a night for a junior suite, a little attention in the room would be very nice. (Even small 4-star hotels can do this) The staff didn't care at all about my birthday either, even after my partner complained at the reception, they just wrote down the points stubbornly and found an answer for everything (we can't judge at this point whether they were excuses). Neither a “We would like to apologize for your inconvenience” nor a “Happy birthday” was said by Mr. E. at the reception; on the contrary, it was laughed at and dismissed. Since my partner works in the hotel industry herself, her criticism was very fair and calmly worded, which could have been addressed well. It is suggested that you will only be treated sensibly if you spend more than €5,000 and that only the size of your wallet counts. However, the SPA suite was very nice and the staff in the spa area was very friendly. Conclusion: Price-performance ratio is absolutely not consistent, service quality is subpar & the staff in the house is not really accommodating. Definitely the last visit for us.

It is an old-fashioned, classy, high-end hotel where European celebrities wear dresses and hold events. Our sentiment is that when it comes to top 5 hotels, we prefer modern buildings, but that's not the case in Europe ^^ The food is delicious and the facilities are good, but everything is very expensive. Another advantage is that major tourist attractions such as Goethe's birthplace, the cathedral, and the Eiselner Bridge are within walking distance!

This year we were also on site at the Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof with our AdAR congress. For the service on September 25th/26th, 2024, in this case especially the 5 stars for the banquet manager Ravi Ujinwal, who always took perfect care of small discrepancies with a lot of commitment. Satisfaction depends on the reliability of the service team. The support from Claudia Etz and Marcel Schnittger was also excellent.

Security yelled at me for leaving my bag on a table. He wouldn’t tell me at first if he moved it. I had to beg him to let me have it back, and he loudly shamed me in the hotel lobby and at the front desk for causing him problems. I understand there were some thefts last night, and I appreciate that he protected my belongings, but he did not need to yell. I didn’t feel comfortable staying any longer.

Claims (through prices) and reality can differ significantly. There really isn't anything bad about it, but in my opinion it's not possible to lose anything given the financial outlay. I would be happy if everything in the house was as high quality as the cost.

Excellent service. Location is prime! Especially if you love to shop. Customer service was fabulous and love the Valet service! The Valet was so friendly and welcoming with each interaction plus his outfits were dapper :) Excited to go back and stay again! Rooms were meticulously clean and modern. I wish I could move in!

Not all icons are the same as icons. A year ago we stayed here for a few days (around 500 euros per night). We booked a double room with "a coffee machine" in the description on the hotel website. But there was no coffee machine. We would have booked a higher category because of coffee. We were kindly promised a coffee, but no one brought it. We booked a massage for 2 from the flyer in the room. But the flyer was “old”. The prices have increased... At breakfast we ordered the eggs, written on the note. The eggs were gone when we asked after 20 minutes. Someone had taken her without a note. We ordered coffee and didn't get anything. Lots going on with 6 tables. Someone may laugh, someone may think we are too picky. We think the management can't get it under control. We were also in another "yard" 2 weeks later, that was a different world. And please, don't hire deletion lawyers, just solve problems. Then we would like to visit again.

Sets standards in the luxury hotel segment! Our stay in September 2023 was simply sensational and exceeded all of our expectations! The personal care from the entire staff was unparalleled. From the warm welcome at the entrance to the attentive and genuinely friendly staff throughout the hotel, we felt welcome and valued at all times. When we checked out, we were asked how we liked the event we had attended, which we had talked about at check-in. The Junior Suite was luxuriously furnished and offered maximum comfort, especially with heavenly beds! The breakfast buffet was varied and left nothing to be desired. Overall, an unforgettable stay that set new standards for us. 5 stars are definitely not enough here!

I booked in advance an afternoon tea online, after 3 attempts it eventually worked and got the confirmation. Don't try to call them they never picked up the phone. We got there and are told we won't have the iconic afternoon tea because it is not booked in their system. Very unprofessional, tried to make it about us and that is the way it is. They suggested us to come another time. The manager came to speak to us, better as he was more professional but again it is not their fault, serving us with excuses. Bottom line for a high standard hotel, make sure your employees get through a proper customer experience and allegiance program. It will help you keep clients even when an unfortunate event like that happens.

Pure luxury! Here, emphasis is placed on the well-being of the hotel guests. The employees are extremely courteous and respectful. I would especially like to praise dear Anna, who tried very hard to accommodate my special requests. But the employees in the spa area were always friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean and has a super central location, the parking garage is directly opposite the side entrance. Absolute recommendation!!

When the king 👑 👑 👑 Miki came into the big house to ask what were my father and mother doing there??? I went to the Frankfuterhof house. A very nice woman spoke to me and gave me advice on where to go. And yes, I found the room of books 📚 my father loved to read. I found pictures of film stars but none of the king 👑 or 👑 queen 👑. Well, I thought not everyone has to know who we are. I was greeted politely and exchanged seats. Nice pictures taken. I looked like a bum with a stain on his pants. And I as a king 👑 have to say there has never been a woman who told me that I had a stain on my pants and that she wanted to order it or wash it. How sweet of her and a bit of attentiveness from this waitress. 1000 points from me. I was a multi-millionaire and know many people traveling around the world. None were as attentive as this woman Blondiene. I live in castles 🏰 Worldwide And often sat in front of the sea and asked myself what I was doing here???. So I mingled with people and only later understood what human beings were again. Whether rich or poor and nationality, there was no one in the world as true as this attentive woman Frankfurter Hof. I showed her my photo which was true and she let me go to find my parents. Yes, I'm looking. Thank you for being such a wonderful person when I was looking for my father and mother. A fantastic place. The first time in a house like this. Full of tradition and history. At the foot of the Commerzbank Tower. In the middle of the high-rise jungle, you get a feeling of welcome. Friendly concierges. Top. Rooms were adapted to today's standards a few years ago. But there are also many things visible here that make you ask, why 5 stars? Everything you need is there, extras can be requested. A modern tablet solves initial questions and also offers bookings for other services. There are also some tourist destinations and information about the history of the house. Dinner in the in-house restaurant. Prices are adjusted to luxury, but it is very tasty. But here there is a problem with the service for reasons that seem inconspicuous to me. A simple beer sometimes took longer than 7 minutes. Double to triple the waiting time. Some of the boys weren't really into it. Breakfast was opulent and extremely varied. Almost all hotels can do this now. Nevertheless, the service here makes the impression and it was very good. Friendly welcome and attention. I had breakfast around 9 a.m. and the crowds were already gone. A small flaw that you have to order the coffee and more if you want. With so much hustle and bustle, you can sometimes forget. Overall a great house. Thank you for letting me be here.

Overall, I couldn't really see the value of the prices here. The hotel is beautiful, stately, well maintained and well located. The employees outside the main entrance were particularly helpful, natural and friendly. However, it was not clear at the reception where exactly to wait to check in. Unfortunately, there was no clear feedback from the hotel team. Overall, the interaction was friendly, but somehow rather distant and sometimes insecure. Unfortunately we were also unlucky in the restaurant. The asparagus soup was served less than lukewarm and the main course took an hour to arrive. While the asparagus in the soup was almost raw, it was rather overcooked in the main course. That was too bad. During the wait, the waiter only came to the table when asked and could not explain the delay. No further requests for drinks were asked at all. The outdoor area was at about 60% capacity and there were almost no customers inside. Only a conversation with the hotel's duty manager gave the feeling that the feedback was taken seriously. Overall, I expect a more pleasant overall experience and a higher quality of service from a hotel in this category.

I attended the afterwork event on a Wednesday. The forecourt is very beautiful, the view of the Commerzbank is also impressive and the service is extremely polite and fast. However, this also has its price. All in all it was a nice event.

I Stayed in this hotel back in early March and while there, I didn't realize what a gem this place was. Recent travel to Hamburg, Munich (3 different hotels), and Berlin has shown me this is an excellent facility. I had an initial problem with my room and within 15 minutes staff arrived with a new room assignment and to assist in moving. From there, the entire stay was just about perfect. Lounge and Bar - Excellent. Restaurant & Breakfast, excellent. Lobby, entry, Lifts, etc... Excellent. Some say hindsight is 20/20 but in this case perspective says it all. An excellent facility, a well trained and high performance staff, and excellent service. Sometimes, you really do get what you pay for!

Wir waren zu einem Kurzbesuch in Frankfurt und wollten bei fast sommerlichen Temperaturen einen Eiskaffee trinken. Dieser wurde individuell gestaltet- meine Tochter mit Vanilleeis und Sahne ( handgeschlagen! nicht aus der Sprühflasche ) und ich nur Eiswürfel, keinen Zucker und Sahne. Um 13 Uhr soll geöffnet sein, wir wurden nicht sehr freundlich empfangen und darauf hingewiesen das wir zu früh seien - waren wir aber nicht; anstatt uns Platz nehmen zu lassen und die Karte zu reichen. Total unorganisiert. Bedienung kam 13.10 Uhr in den Laden; läuft durch von vorne nach hinten mit den Händen auf dem Rücken, anstatt den Tisch abzuräumen. Essen würde noch dauern; klar, der Koch saß mit Schürze vor dem Laden an dem Tisch und rauchte - nach 10 min geöffnet, es ist sicher nicht einfach, Personal zu finden, aber auf dieses kann man verzichten. Wohlfühlen ist definitiv anders!

We were able to celebrate our wedding at the Frankfurter Hof. Our room, a junior suite (Alfred Hitchcock Suite), was wonderfully furnished with a great large bathroom with a bathtub and separate shower. We had 2 balconies from which the Frankfurt skyline showed itself at its best. You are actually in the middle of it instead of just there. We had an incredibly nice stay. Very courteous staff and many small, loving surprises made our stay a unique, unforgettable experience. We would like to publicly thank the entire team around Florian Woithe for this great experience. Our every wish was met and we were able to fully enjoy our party without having to worry about any organization. I don't think there's much more to say about the furnishings and the ambience than pure luxury. We hope to be guests again soon. Many thanks also to our colleagues at reception and the bell boys at the door. Outstanding job in all respects.

I was curious about the Steigenberger because I visit Frankfurt regularly and try out different hotels. I had briefly read the reviews in advance and was warned accordingly, but I still wanted to be surprised. The Steigenberger is a good hotel, but the price-performance ratio is not right and, especially when compared to other five or four star hotels in the city (such as the Sofitel, the recently renovated Westin or the Hilton), it unfortunately falls short. The latest tactic of making business travelers pay for the use of the spa and fitness room despite staying overnight (for around EUR 13 and EUR 2.5) is unique in Frankfurt. If the spa were at least equipped with a swimming pool like in the Sofitel, but like that, it's simply incomprehensible and still effective without explicit instructions. That's a shame, the house actually has style (an outdated style - elevator from 1950 - that's how it feels) and is in a great location. The breakfast is, however, only average for this class. Conclusion: The competition is better and therefore I would rather go to the Sofitel again.

The house lives from the splendor of times long past. The name that once stood for something doesn't change the fact that it's getting really old. The last renovation was probably 30 years ago. You can see it in every nook and cranny. It's absolutely not worth the money!!

My stay at the Frankfurter Hof was an experience that I didn't want to miss and that exceeded all expectations. It's rare for a hotel to excel in every area, but this establishment did so with ease. The warmth and hospitality that emanated from every member of staff made it clear from the start that this was no ordinary place. Your attention and kindness made my stay very special. The room itself was an oasis of peace and comfort. With its impeccable cleanliness, high level of care and tasteful decor, I immediately felt welcome and comfortable. It was the perfect retreat after a long day in the city. And then the food – a real highlight! Every meal was a feast for the senses. The quality, freshness of the ingredients and the creativity of the dishes were outstanding. I actually ate a lot more than I planned and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. It was just too good to resist. To sum up, I can say that this hotel is not just a place to stay but an experience not to be missed. For the exceptional hospitality, the wonderful room and the exquisite food, this place deserves an unreserved recommendation. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Booked with AMEX FHR. Did not disappoint! What I can’t even believe is that this hotel was built in 1876 but it is packed with high tech. I would love to see a documentary on how and how many times this hotel has been renovated. The shower was the best shower I have ever seen in my life. The staff were the definition of professional. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. I ate dinner at Oscar’s and my waiter was super helpful and suggested the perfect wine and meal. Thank you to everyone on your team for a perfect experience!

We had a long layover in Frankfurt and didn't know what to do and where to go. A quick search on Reddit narrowed our choices to only Romeberg as the only attraction. With that in mind, there's only 2 hotels in proximity. We chose this one vs the other more modern establishment. And we're glad we did. The entire experience of the layover was quite romantic and quaint. We are glad we found this hotel.

Der größte Teil des Personales ist mit Freude bei der Arbeit, das merkt man. Leider ist die Leistung der Rezeption indiskutabel und zerstört den gesamt Eindruck komplett. Hatte ein grand delux Zimmer, was größtenteils in Ordnung war aber etwas Pflege braucht (Tür klemmt, Kanten abgeschlagen, LED-Band hängt beim Bett weg, Kaffee ausrüstung nicht vollständig). Waren Kleinigkeiten die nicht wirklich stören aber bei einem 5 Sterne Haus kann man mehr erwarten. Die Lage mitten in Frankfurt ist super quasi alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Wovon ich mir auch mehr erhofft habe ist der SPA obwohl ein großer Teil des ersten Stockwerkes dafür verwendet wird fühlt man sich im Saunabereich geradezu eingeengt. Es gibt je eine Sauna 85 Grad, Dampfbad und Hamam, Frauen Bereich sowie Duschen und gerade mal 8 Liegemöglickeiten. Schon einmal davon gehört das man sich nach dem Saunagang entspannen möchte? Das Konzept liegt klar auf dem verkauf von Anwendungen, dort sind augenscheinlich genügend Zimmer vorhanden. Das Konzept des Dampfbades erschließt sich mir auch nicht. Es gibt einen Schlauch zum reinigen der Sitzfläche und mit dem kommt man nicht überall hin. Die Sitzfläche ist gewölbt so das, dass Wasser drin stehen bleibt, sehr angenehm im Schweiß des Nutzers zuvor zu sitzen. Anlehnen kann man sich beim Sitzen nicht da das Rückenteil so heiß ist das man sich verbrennt, einige Mosaik Teile fehlen. So nun zur Rezeption dem Highlight des Hotels, in meiner Buchung war frühes einchecken nach Verfügbarkeit möglich, ein upgrade des Zimmers nach Verfügbarkeit, garantierter später Check out bis 16 Uhr. Bereits bei der Buchung habe ich angegeben das ich gerne früher anreisen möchte wenn möglich, da ich keine Rückmeldung hatte habe ich einen Tag vorher angerufen. Bin nicht bis zur Rezeption gekommen, werde in ein paar Minuten zurück gerufen, auf diesen Anruf warte ich bis heute. Habe es dann selbst nochmal versucht und habe jemanden gehabt der mir zugesichert hat das ich ab 12 Uhr anreisen kann hat er so in meiner Reservierung hinterlegt auch ein Zimmerupgrade habe ich bekommen, danke dafür. Leider war das Telefonat sehr schwierig da mein Gegenüber kaum deutsch konnte auch wollte er erst 100€ für die frühere Anreise, bis ich erklärte habe das, dass bei meiner Buchung inkl. ist. Beim Check-In um 13 Uhr wurde mir gesagt man müsse erst schauen ob mein Zimmer fertig ist, nach der Erwähnung das ich einen frühere Check-In habe hieß es nur: "Ja nach Verfügbarkeit einfach so geht es nicht", hatte ich doch durch das Telefonat schon geklärt. Hat dann aber doch ohne Probleme funktioniert, mir wurde alles erklärt und gesagt spätes Check-out ist hinterlegt Zimmerkarte ist bis 16 Uhr aktiv. Ich war zu Mittag im Restaurant und wollte gegen 14 Uhr das Essen auf mein Zimmer schreiben lassen, geht nicht werde im System nicht gefunden. Alle zur Rezeption was ist da los? Um ca. 13:45 Uhr war der Check-out daher bin ich nicht mehr im System und später Check-out ist nur nach vorheriger Anmeldung möglich. Geht's noch das jemand ohne mich einfach ein Check-out macht, meine Sachen noch im Zimmer sind und ich das späte gehen nicht angemeldet habe. Ich wurde dann wieder im Hotel aufgenommen, was für ein Glück. Beim wirklichen Check-out haben wir dann nochmals betont das uns das gestört hat, wieder das selbe muss vorher angemeldet werden. Diese Unterhaltung musste auf englisch erfolgen da die Dame dem deutschen nicht mächtig war bzw. sehr gebrochen. Mir ist klar das man in einem Haus mit internationalen Gästen verschiedene Sprachen anbieten möchte. Bei einem Hotel in Deutschland kann ich doch trozdem erwarten das mein Gegenüber deutsch reden kann, muss ja nicht perfekt sein eine normale Unterhaltung sollte aber möglich sein. Nach dieser Erfahrung war das der erste und letzte Aufenthalt im Frankfurter Hof, schade.

Great hotel with spacious rooms, awesome servide and really well located. We had a good experience in our short stay, very helpful staff. The rooms were renovated. Only complaint is with the super modern showers that didn’t work very well with the touch buttons. The breakfast was ok!

Wir haben für eine Nacht knapp 300€ (OHNE Frühstück)gezahlt und sind dafür sehr enttäuscht worden. Aufgrund von Unwetterwarnungen musste die Anreise bereits mittags erfolgen. Auf die Frage, ob die Möglichkeit besteht, ein paar Stunden früher in das Zimmer zu kommen, wurde man mit 75€ Early-Checkin Kosten abgespeist. Das bei dem Zimmerpreis!! Und auch die Bitte nach einem moderneren Zimmer, wurde abgelehnt mit der Aussage, dass man dafür noch mehr bezahlen muss! Der hoch angepriesene Spa-Bereich war ok, aber es gab nicht einmal genügend, bequeme Liegen. Das war ebenfalls sehr enttäuschend, wenn man auf ein bisschen Ruhe und Entspannung im Saunabereich gehofft hat. Lediglich ein paar, harte Steinliegen standen zur Verfügung. Ziemlich unbequem. Die Zimmer waren sehr abgewohnt und duschen musste man in einer engen Badewanne. Manche Gäste haben sicher Probleme dort hinein zu steigen. Alles in Allem: Sehr enttäuschend für den Preis. Da habe ich für 100€ die Nacht schon besser gewohnt. Nur wegen zusätzlichem Service und dem Namen kann man sich noch lange nicht 5-Sterne nennen.

Das war leider ein ärgerlicher Besuch. Bei aller Geduld, zwei Gästetische, die nach uns belegt waren, wurden vor uns bedient. Auch der gesuchte Blickkontakt als auch ein Winken brachten uns keinen Service. Nein, nach 22 Minuten machten wir unsere Plätze wieder frei, auch wenn die Kuchen schon verführerisch aussahen.

Sie möchten einfach nur Mensch sein und sich ohne dummes Imponiergehabe in Frankfurt entspannen, dann sind Sie hier genau richtig. Im Raum des Salons gibt es allerlei gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten und die freundlichen Bedienungen verwöhnen Sie mit guten Getränken und kleinen Speisen zu moderaten Preisen. Wer möchte darf auf dem wohlgestimmten Flügel am Eingang spielen. Alles ist übrigens penibel sauber. Hier fühle ich mich als normalerMensch wohl!

Sehr originelles Cafe und schöne Atmosphäre mit sehr netten Personal !!! Vorallem das : Der frankfurtersalon ist ein sozialer betrieb, der keine gewinne erwirtschaften will und menschen mit handicaps oder in sozialer not beschäftigt und ausbildet. das gilt auch für die marken basaglia, roter hamm, druckwerkstatt rödelheim und weitere. Sehr empfehlenswert !!!!!

Ein gelungenes Konzept. Bequeme Sessel und Tische mit Stühlen, einladend zum Verweilen. Sehr gute Kaffeequalität, freundlich-witzige Bedienung, alles sehr gut. Leider gab es an einem Sonntagnachmittag um ca. 16:30 Uhr keinen einzigen Kuchen mehr. Die witzig-schräge Erklärung unserer Bedienung: "Wir sind noch ein junger Laden, sowas wie ein Baby. Bei Babies läuft manchmal nicht alles rund" nahmen wir belustigt zur Kenntnis. Auch sonst alles super und sympathisch. Ein Gewinn für die Frankfurter Innenstadt!

Eine wunderschöne Location, liebevoll eingerichtet. Jedoch sollte man wissen das hier Personal arbeitet, was in der freien Wirtschaft kaum Chancen hätte bzw. wieder ins Arbeitsleben eingegliedert wird. Sprich ehe man sich über eine etwaige Unfreundlichkeit, langes warten oder eine "ungewohnte "Form von Bedienung" aufregt sollte man die Hintergründe kennen. Ein schönes Konzept und ein Ambiente zum wohlfühlen.

Ein wunderbares Café! Ein fantastischer Rückzugsort aus dem Trubel der Stadt. Mir gefällt die altmodisch/moderne Einrichtung und besonders das recht dünne, feine Porzellan. Der kleine Cappuccino mundete hervorragend und auch von Limoment Apfel Rose (in der aktuellen Ausgabe 11/19 der „Essen und Trinken“ ist ein Bericht über die herstellende Firma) waren wir angetan. Der Mohnkuchen (aus einer Bäckerei) war ebenfalls lecker. Preise angemessen (ich glaube, kleiner Cappuccino 2,30 und Kuchen 2,50€). Publikum schön gemischt, auch ältere Herrschaften fühlen sich hier sichtlich wohl. Sehr zu empfehlen!!!!

Endlich hat es geklappt. Schon lange wollte ich hier mal rein. Ein leckerer Kaffee und 2 Stück Kuchen machten den verregneten Tag etwas besser. Der Kaffee war prima, der Kuchen soweit ok. Es herrschte eine sehr angenehme Kaffeehausstimmung

Schönes Cafe das ein wenig alte Kaffeehauskulur verbreitet. Schönes Ambiente, sehr nette Bedienung, guter Kaffee und Kuchen. Fasziniert waren wir von der Sanduhr mit der die Ziehzeit des Tees berechnet wird :-)

The “Mon Amie Maxi” by restaurateur Christian Mook is probably one of the most established luxury restaurants in Frankfurt. Bankers and consultants from the financial metropolis meet here, especially at lunchtime. The “fried salmon King Ora” (€39.90) with cream spinach and Béarnaise sauce tasted really good. The bread that came with it was also delicious.

At first the receptionist only wanted us to be served outside, so I had to insist that they serve me inside. There were several basic tables. Apparently the waiter didn't really want to serve us since he was surprised that they gave us a table inside and someone else was serving us. Oops. friendly wn I brought the burgers very good the linguine with octopus pretty good the dessert of good seasoning the atmosphere good seasoning 👍
