Steakmeisterei in Osnabrück

Im großen und ganzen ein gelungener Abend

Wir haben mit 4 Personen in Whobert am Samstag um 17:30 Uhr reserviert. Wir sind mit großen Hunden angekommen und ich muss sagen, wir wurden herzlich in den Wintergarten geleitet. Die Hunde hatten schneller was zu Trinken wie wir. 😅 Wir haben Getränke, Vorspeise und Hauptgerichte bestellt. Alles kam zum richtigen Zeitpunkt und wir hatten auch direkt hunger durch die leckeren Düfte die aus der offenen Küche kam. Das Fleisch, 4 mal Steaks mit Beilagen aus Gemüse und Kartoffelgerichten, war so lecker, das selbst meine Schwester das Rezept haben wollte. Wir wollten zwar noch eine Nachspeise bestellen, aber wir waren so satt von unseren Gerichten, das uns leider die leckere Nachspeise vergönnt wurde. 😋 Alles Zusammengefasst. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend und das beste Steak, was wir jemals gegessen haben. Daher 5 Sterne überall 🤗🤗🤗

Das Sauerteigbrot war gut, aber ganz bestimmt nicht das beste in Norddeutschland. Alles ist hier vermeintlich das „Beste“. Ich hab auch anderswo schon sehr gut gegessen. Insgesamt recht hochpreisig. Meine Erwartungen wurden eher enttäuscht.

Wir waren mit ein paar Freunde da. Sehr freundlicher Service. Das Tatar als Vorspeise war geschmacklich okay, hab ich allerdings schon häufig besser gegessen. Danach Burger mit Pommes. Beides geschmacklich auch in Ordnung, allerdings war ich nach Vorspeise und Hauptspeise leider nicht satt, da es sich um einen ziemlich kleinen Burger handelt. Beim Essen finde ich das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht passend. Besonders überteuert habe ich allerdings die „hausgemachte Limonade“ empfunden, welche aus kohlensäurehaltigem Wasser, einem Schuss Mangosirup sowie ein paar Minzblättern besteht. Das ist in meinen Augen keine 6,90 € wert.

Wir waren auf einer Hochzeit im Whobert und es war der absolute Hammer. Das Essen war top, die Getränke kalt und reichlich und wir hatten das Glück von Cassandra bedient zu werden. Service 100%, beste in Osnabrück ♥️ Bald wieder!

Habe den Grillteller bestellt. Solch eine Frechheit hab ich noch nie erlebt. Für 35€ erwarte ich einen großen Teller wo fast 2 Leute satt werden können. Stattdessen besteht eine Hälfte aus gegrilltem Gemüse welches nicht komplett durch ist, kein Zwiebel aber dafür Venchel drin. Sellerie war komplett hart von innen. Komische Kombination. Die andere Hälfte besteht aus 3 mickrigen Stücken Fleisch, die mit 3 Bissen sofort aufgegessen sind (nein ich bin nicht fett). Ich habe soetwas ehrlich noch nicht erlebt. Noch dazu kam die Bedienung sehr spät und wusste auch nicht so richtig was sie tun soll. (Der Laden war vielleicht 1/4 voll) und trotzdem haben wir fast ne Stunde auf das Essen gewartet. Musik war zudem schrecklich und man konnte sich kaum richtig unterhalten.

Das Whoberts, liegt direkt an der Hauptstraße und leider hatten wir unseren Tisch auch genau da, es gibt auch einen Wintergarten und weitere Sitzmöglichkeiten draußen, diese waren jedoch alle besetzt. Empfehlung wäre einen Tisch zu reservieren. Das Steak war wirklich top und die Bedienung sehr nett und schnell. Alles in allem definitiv zu empfehlen!!

Leckeres Essen. Perfekter Service. Schönes Lokal. Die Preise auf der Speisekarte sind übersichtlich und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist wirklich gut.

War vor ein paar Tagen dort . Schöne Location und nette Atmosphäre. Essen war okay aber Service war bisschen durcheinander. Ich werde trotzdem wiederkommen

⭐️⭐️ – Ein kulinarisches Erlebnis der besonderen Art im „Whobert“ Wir hatten das Vergnügen, das „Whobert“ zu besuchen – vielen noch bekannt als ehemalige Steakmeisterei. Die Erwartungen waren entsprechend hoch. Ein klassischer Anfängerfehler. Das Filet (49 €) überzeugte vor allem durch seine moderne Interpretation von Temperatur: kühl serviert, fast schon avantgardistisch. Man hätte es problemlos auf der Handfläche servieren können – ein innovativer Beitrag zur Energieeinsparung. Das Ofengemüse bewegte sich ebenfalls souverän im Bereich „lauwarm“ und rundete das Konzept der konsequent reduzierten Hitze perfekt ab. Ein besonderes Highlight war der Service: Die Reaktionsgeschwindigkeit und Aufmerksamkeit der Kellnerinnen bewegte sich auf einem Niveau, das man wohl am treffendsten als „entschleunigt“ beschreiben kann. Kritik wurde mit bewundernswerter Konsequenz weder aufgenommen noch verarbeitet – eine klare Linie, die man selten so kompromisslos erlebt. Aussagen wie „Sie haben es ja gegessen“ oder „Das ist nicht unser Problem“ zeigen eindrucksvoll, wie hier neue Maßstäbe im Umgang mit Gästen gesetzt werden. Die Entwicklung von der Steakmeisterei zum „Whobert“ ist bemerkenswert: Es gelingt, die frühere Qualität nicht nur zu unterschreiten, sondern regelrecht neu zu definieren. Fazit: Wer erleben möchte, wie man ein hochpreisiges Steak in einen Zustand zwischen Raumtemperatur und Resignation überführt – begleitet von einem Service, der sich jeder Form von Erwartung elegant entzieht – ist hier genau richtig. Allen anderen sei empfohlen, Orte aufzusuchen, an denen Hitze beim Kochen und Interesse am Gast noch Teil des Konzepts sind.

Leider keine gute Erfahrung. Die Preise sind aus meiner Sicht deutlich zu hoch für die Qualität der Speisen, die serviert werden. Geschmacklich war es eher durchschnittlich und nichts, was den Preis rechtfertigt. Der Service hat den Eindruck zusätzlich verschlechtert. Das Personal wirkte wenig aufmerksam und teilweise wenig kompetent. Man musste lange warten und hatte nicht das Gefühl, dass der Gast hier wirklich im Mittelpunkt steht. Insgesamt stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hier nicht. Ich würde das Restaurant nicht weiterempfehlen.

Ich war mit Freunden dort. Das Essen war hervorragend zubereitet und angerichtet, ich war total begeistert. Ich habe zwei Biere und zwei Espresso Martinis getrunken, Steak Tatar und ein riesiges Rib-Eye-Steak. Super Essen und Service! 👍

Top Restaurant. Das Dry-Aged Beef (400 g) war gut zubereitet und geschmacklich sehr lecker. Als Beilage hatten wir das „Site“ Kartoffelpüree & Röstzwiebeln, auch hier sehr gut vom Geschmack. Außerdem hatten wir noch den Whobert Smashed Burger Double Classic Smash der ebenfalls lecker war. Insgesamt hat alles gut geschmeckt und wir hatten einen angenehmen Besuch.

Gehobene Preise, aber man bekommt wirklich das was man bezahlt. Schöner Laden mit sehr gutem Essen!

Ich war in dem Restaurant nach einer guten Empfehlung. Es ist wirklich sehr gut. Ambiente Top, sehr aufmerksames Personal, sehr sehr leckeres Essen. Ich hatte einen Ribeye Steak und die Begleitung Flanksteak wobei ich sagen würde Flanksteak währe nichts für mich. (da es etwas anderes Fleisch ist. Es ist aber trozdem auf sehr hohem Niveau zubereitet worden.) Preise für diese Art von Restaurants ist angemessen. Ach habe fast vergessen... das Bier, das war das Ding des Abends. In einem für mich ungewöhnlichen Glas serviert (etwa Rotweinglas) aber durch diese Form konnte ich den Aroma von dem Bier geniessen. Laut Personal war es eins aus Brauerei Hannover. Also den Geschmack werde ich nicht vergessen. Vielen Dank und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Normalerweise schreibe ich nicht reviews nur wenn es sehr gut oder sehr schlecht ist. Niemals tat es mir so leid dass ich nicht Photos gemacht habe! Mann sollte sagen dass mann nicht English kann… Mein Getränk und meine Kartoffeln waren nicht richtig und was ich bestellt habe. Cesar salad 18 euro ist unverschämt, mein 16jähriger Sohn macht echtes Cesar Salad, das kann mann nicht kochen nennen. Steak 250g vielleicht nicht gekocht, das kann doch nicht Wahr sein. Har auch viel gedauert. Wahnsinnig! Schade weil der Restaurant sieht schön aus. Ich empfähle nicht!

Essen war soweit lecker bis auf das fried chicken das war teilweise noch roh…(Salmonellen Vergiftung )

Ich bin gerne im Whobert zum Essen, sei es privat oder auch mit Kunden/Lieferanten. Das Essen ist immer wieder ein Erlebnis, hochwertige Qualität, top zubereitet, guter Service und an tolles Ambiente. Ich kann jedem, der gutes Essen mag, einen Besuch im Whobert empfehlen. Ich freue mich schon jetzt auf die nächsten Besuche.

Also ich muss sagen obwohl die Location Scharm hat und das Personal sehr bemüht ist waren die Preise und in meinem Fall das Genußerlebnis sehr ernüchternd. Wenn ich mir ein 300g Steak für 43 € bestelle was ich schon happig finde kann ich doch wohl erwarten das es nicht in Salz badet was auf dem ganzen Teller als Deko verteilt war da hat es auch nichts gebracht das es auf den Punkt Medium war und der Burger war leider auch ein Witz. Für uns definitiv ein einmaliges Erlebnis 😔

Gefühlt sind wir inzwischen schon zum 100. Mal hier – und jetzt wird es wirklich Zeit für eine Google-Rezension. Wir sind jedes Mal aufs Neue begeistert. Der Service ist äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Das Fleisch ist wirklich immer hervorragend, konstant auf sehr hohem Niveau. Besonders freuen wir uns auch darüber, dass es regelmäßig neue Kreationen gibt und die Karte immer wieder wechselt – so bleibt es spannend und abwechslungsreich. Insgesamt sind wir jedes Mal sehr, sehr zufrieden und kommen immer wieder gerne hierher. Absolute Empfehlung!

Wir haben zur Adventszeit sehr schön und nett draußen zwei Getränke genossen.

Es war sehr lecker! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall noch einmal wieder. Das Ambiente ist ziemlich cool und der Service war echt Klasse. Preislich ist es etwas teurer aber es lohnt sich... Die Qualität der Lebensmittel schmeckt man auch.

We had our Christmas dinner there yesterday with a small group. The atmosphere was fantastic, something different, the food arrived super fast and was absolutely delicious. The service was superb. It simply has to be said. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the service was incredibly fast. We'd love to come back again.

The atmosphere and ambiance were very pleasant, and the staff were incredibly friendly, but the food left much to be desired. The appetizer was truly delicious, but the main course was unfortunately a disappointment. My smash burger was okay, but nothing special. My side dish was a mac and cheese, which had absolutely nothing to do with mac and cheese; it was more like a poor-quality pre-made mix. This disappointment cost the two of us almost €100.

Whobert Spritzeria in Osnabrück is absolutely fantastic! The food is incredibly delicious and the atmosphere is great. I'd especially like to commend Linda and Irena – both are super friendly and attentive, and they make every visit special. All in all, a truly amazing experience. I'll definitely be back anytime.

I only drank the non-alcoholic Whobert Spritz and it was great.

Terrible service; they didn't even bring the bill to the table. The burger was awful, the same as a McDonald's hamburger. They had the wrong items on the bill; I'll never order from them again.

Paid €40 for a dry burger, the fries were terribly seasoned, never again, unbelievable!

I was at whobert today. The food (steaks) was okay, although the side dish could have been a bit more generous and the steak wasn't particularly well salted (I had to add more salt myself, and one of our steaks didn't have any salt at all...). My main criticism, however, is more about the principle and the way a business is run. I think it's ridiculous to charge €5 for three small pieces of baguette... I'm not going to pay for that. All in all, it was okay, but I wouldn't go back.

First of all, I have to say: the food was delicious! The iron flat steak was medium, as ordered! And really good! The tapas board was also very good!! The staff: excellent!! Really!!! But: there's no real concept! Tapas bar or steakhouse or cocktail bar?? You have to decide. The high prices mentioned by many are understandable in some places, but €5 for a 0.33l Helles (I didn't even know they were allowed to bottle something like that) phew, that's steep... And we're not talking about a winery wine served by trained staff... Also, the fact that potatoes are actually chips... that's bordering on deception, and I think it's been mentioned so many times here... Just change it on the menu... And the croquettas with potato and sucuk weren't a Spanish delicacy, but croquettes with a bit of sucuk crumbs on top... Well, and then the selection itself: too limited for a tapas bar, and only three types of steak is far too few for a steakhouse... A small, fine larder is always great... but as mentioned above, the concept is lacking! The overall impression was simply inconsistent for us, coupled with the high price...

Fantastic food! The steaks were cooked to perfection and the side dishes were perfectly matched. We were particularly impressed by the extremely friendly and attentive staff. On Tuesday evening, however, it was very empty (only three tables occupied), which was a bit of a shame. The decor at the front is completely pink, which I don't think quite fits the upscale price segment, while the conservatory, where we sat, is truly stylishly decorated. The informal use of the informal "du" (formal) was a bit of a departure for us – we would have expected "Sie" (formal) in a restaurant of this caliber. Overall, though, it's highly recommended for good food and friendly service.

There is no much variety for main dishes but the ones that exists are really good, a really good spot and great cocktails.

Unfortunately, we weren't satisfied. We really love tapas, but the tapas platter for €29 was a small wooden board with very few tapas, which we're used to much better! The menu listed potatoes and patatas bravas, but they brought us potato chips from a bag! That's a real no-go! The other portions, like the pinimentos, were also small and expensive. It's a shame, but we wouldn't recommend them!

I had made a reservation for an event at the restaurant and paid in advance. Unfortunately, the restaurant canceled the event at short notice. Despite repeated inquiries, I have not yet received a refund for the amount I paid. Email and phone contact remained unsuccessful, and no solution was offered. I find it disappointing that no refund is offered for cancellations by the restaurant. This behavior does not strike me as customer-oriented, and I will refrain from making any further bookings in the future.

I was there late in the evening, the kitchen was almost closed, so I checked what was available and got a delicious snack, absolutely fantastic! Beautiful atmosphere, I'll be back for a steak next time! Thanks for your efforts!

Great steakhouse in Osnabrück. Slightly higher prices but they make up for the location, ambience and food! I booked myself here with a large group, that wasn't a problem and we were all able to be served at the same time. Whobert is definitely a recommendation for a cozy and culinary-interesting evening!

Plus: Delicious food, friendly service, few but fine cocktails. Good wines and relaxed atmosphere. Minus: A bit loud, slightly cramped and the lighting concept is not to everyone's taste. It worked for us.

The meat options are great, the wine menu as well. Unfortunately, there are almost no vegan options.

Unfortunately not satisfied: The meat is of great quality, the prices are super high, if you only want to eat 200g, the steak selection is very limited. The service was friendly, but to be honest I was brushed off when I made a complaint (I had ordered the fillet rare and received an end piece that was partly medium). The question of whether I was at least full can hardly be understood as an excuse. Too bad!

We had a meal here and it was really good. Food was nice and the drinks were as well. We loved the winter garden. Only thing I didn't enjoy was the winter crumble as it wasn't to my taste, used to a hot crumble! Otherwise would recommend!

Very tasty food from a small menu, but quality. The service is friendly, relaxed and good. Absolute recommendation.

Four of us were here recently. Drinks were good, food recommendations, service strength: menu to try out a lot of things. When asked whether this also included steak and the fact that a friend doesn't eat pork, she replied that she was happy to pass it on and that the boys in the kitchen always do it the way they feel like it. We felt heard. Starter plate: A mix of Italian antipasti + cheese and grapes - tasted good as a starter in the steakhouse, very unusual and I'm more familiar with cheese with grapes as a dessert Main course: A chicken and a pork tenderloin. Unfortunately, exactly what we wanted to avoid was delivered. What's more, the pork was so overcooked that it was inedible. Upon friendly advice, the plate was taken away and the waitress confirmed that it was too cooked and that the boys would therefore put sauce on it again. I see it as a bad joke. As sides there were 6 carrots and potatoes on both plates. Dessert: very, very much and quite ok, unfortunately it seemed a bit bland In total we paid €90 each (2 Pornstar Martini, 1 Campari Spritz, 2 light drinks and 2 bottles of water) Unfortunately a disappointment for me. If you want to sell the menu as a surprise, then when asked, you must at least be told that it is not suitable for our needs. It should also be a business card for the restaurant where you can find dishes that represent the steakhouse. If a dish goes wrong, there are only two things to do - cook it again and invite you later for an espresso or something similar instead of simply soaking the dry meat in sauce.

Food quite good. For me, the entire menu is significantly overpriced and doesn't match the culinary performance.

Simply for the very unprofessional reactions of an oh-so-upscale "stylish" restaurant to reviews. You are adults. Then you get a hint of mental maturity when a guest simply complains about the price of a wine glass. If you're over 25, you can seriously provide a great, detailed explanation instead of embarrassingly childish and disgustingly cynical taunts and recommending that you visit other restaurants. Or as a preventive measure against such primitive nonsense, next time it's better not to let the intern in front of the monitor, smoke his fag in front of it, or just be able to, well, be serious about it. As a yes upscale restaurant. Everyone should be able to control their ego like this, right :)

For the first time in Osnabrück with friends and had dinner here in the evening. Super friendly and attentive staff. And super delicious food: I had the “burnt celery”, mushrooms & fries as a side dish, my friends had flank steak and fillet steak - everything was really spicy but not too spicy/salty. A great experience.

We recently went to Whobert for the first time. We were greeted very nicely and shown straight to the table. When we asked if the music could be made a little quieter, we were told that of course it would be made quieter because we were sitting directly under the speaker and it was a little too loud. Plus point 👌 We ordered the menu twice, the portions were too much for us, but the selection was excellent and the taste was 5 ⭐️ We had the remaining dishes packed up for us to take home. We also really liked the service, very attentive and friendly. The ambience is modern and fresh, but a little cold for me, you could do a little more in the back area. Because the winter garden makes it seem a bit cool. We'll definitely be back 🥰

For a glass of white wine 0.2 l Charging €10.50 is a rip-off. Such restaurants should be avoided

Whobert. Huh? How do you actually pronounce that? Steakmeisterei was one of our top 5 addresses in all of Germany for steaks. And now? A Spritzeria?! Such a shame! Never again!

We had a corporate event there. The food was fantastic and the service was incredibly friendly.

The restaurant is very attractively designed and you immediately feel at home. The service was friendly and attentive. The burger we ordered was really tasty and definitely recommended. Unfortunately, the pinsa couldn't quite keep up here - it was quite dry and could have used a little more flavor. A few fresh bruschetta tomatoes or a spicy sauce would definitely help here.

After giving this 5 stars for years, I unfortunately have to correct that now. Since the Steakmeisterei had the perfect professional dinner, the whole thing somehow doesn't bother me anymore. Everything is off-the-wall, “sexy”, prices are at least doubled. Not mine anymore. Even the new name and the new concept will not mean that I will ever eat there again. 2 stars for okay quality food.

Great location on the edge of the old town. We went there spontaneously during the week and were given a very warm welcome! The food selection was good and selected, the spritz drinks were also very tasty. What we liked best was the really excellent service - we would love to come back!
