Highly recommended. A cozy and well-kept ambiance. The outdoor seating area offers plenty of shady spots. Service is attentive and courteous. Delicious food and a perfectly cooked steak. Side dishes are plentiful and flavorful.

Inside and in the beer garden, it's a feel-good oasis, with friendly service. Parking is a bit tricky; there are two parking spaces in the courtyard. The food—well, the steaks were really good, mine wasn't quite perfect, but they were still great. The side dishes, which you had to order and pay for separately, were very mediocre, being convenience items. A 250g ribeye with two sides for €48 plus a drink—you don't do that every night. It was also quite empty for a summer Thursday evening. Despite ordering more drinks, we were ushered out promptly at 10:30 p.m. I can still recommend the steakhouse because of the lovely atmosphere in this hectic city.

I'm absolutely thrilled with the super-friendly service and the incredibly delicious food! I love fries, and the ones here are fantastic – as are the croquettes :) The decor is really cozy and very clean! Highly recommended!

Four of us were there on Easter Sunday. We were more than thrilled with the food and the ambience was also very nice. We were able to sit in the small but nice backyard in the nice weather. This was lovingly furnished and you could hide the big city life. The food was super delicious. We had asparagus with salmon, beef fillet with fried potatoes and 2xsteak. Once gratinated with seasoned meat and the second simply with cheese. All 4 dishes were simply delicious. The staff was also polite and very accommodating. We can only recommend the restaurant.

Excellent food – a delight for the palate! I had the pleasure of trying a steak fillet and it was simply amazing! The meat was so tender that it literally fell apart in your mouth - a real delight for any meat lover. The taste was perfect and the preparation left nothing to be desired. I can definitely recommend this restaurant and am looking forward to my next visit!

I wanted to reserve three seats for a Friday evening at 6 p.m. However, I was told that you could only reserve from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the “first wave” or at 7 p.m. for the “second wave.” Now I wanted to enjoy a birthday meal with my 96-year-old grandma and my son. For work reasons, an earlier reservation was not possible and later (from 7 p.m.) my grandma can no longer cope with it. “Devouring” the food in a hurry between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. was not what we wanted. I find it outrageous(!) that guests are expected to fit into “time waves” and are not able to freely choose a time.

Were there for the first time yesterday and were completely satisfied.. Not only were the steaks very good, we also really liked the atmosphere in the small, cute shop.. 5 stars.. would give more if we could.. Greetings

This evening we spontaneously received a recommendation for this restaurant and managed to get a table at 8:30 p.m. (reservation is a must). The service was very accommodating and the food was simply great. We had surf and turf with parmesan fries, rump steak with croquettes and 2 baguettes and everything was plentiful and delicious across the board. For €120 including drinks and tips, the two of us were full and happy and can only praise the value for money! We will remember this great restaurant on our next vacation and come back!

Es war eine Empfehlung von Freunden. Ich wollte mich selber von der Qualität der Speisen überzeugen, um hier mein 70. Geburtstag zu feiern. Das werde ich eher sein lassen! Das Essen war unterdurchschnittlich (das Steak bestand zur Hälfte aus Sehnen) und die Begründung für das miserable Fleischstück ist für ein Steakhaus (der Koch könnte doch nicht in das Fleisch reinschauen) nicht angemessen! Schade. Etwas positives gibt es trotzdem. Das Ambiente ist sehr gut und die Bedienung freundlich.

We were here on our anniversary today. The “Caprese” starter is highly recommended. Super delicious mozzarella - probably the best we've ever eaten. The steaks were perfect. Very well seasoned - I personally didn't need any extra sauce as the steak itself was very juicy and to the point. The fried potatoes were to die for. I even took some extra with me. At the end we had the Kaiserschmarren. This also arrived hot and tasty. Whatever the reason, this tastes better than the one in Switzerland. All in all - 12/10 Come again.

This is our second time here, and once again it was delicious and delicious. The friendly service and the ambiance make it a great place to linger. The prices are perfectly reasonable for the quality. We'll definitely be back.

Was in Leipzig yesterday and was in the mood for steak. So I searched and ended up in Piccolo. We got a seat promptly without a reservation, but I think I was lucky as the place was full half an hour later. So reservations are recommended. I find the ambience a bit cold and sterile, not really steakhouse charm, but that's just a personal feeling and shouldn't be a criticism. Let's get to the food, for which we didn't have to wait long. Large portion, fresh, and delicious. The steak on point. In terms of price, I would say not necessarily something for every weekend. At least not for me, a poor middle-class person. 😄 But I would say that the quality is still acceptable and I would definitely recommend it.

Totally great food. The very friendly service served us various dishes, all of which were perfect. In November the focus was on "seasonal" duck, otherwise excellently prepared steaks were served there. The ambience also matches the high level of quality. Prices were appropriate for the quality, a little more expensive. Reservation in advance makes sense. Due to the lack of parking spaces in the area, it's better to use public transport. You can park there Mon-Fri on the streets for €3.5 per hour. On weekends, parking spaces are reserved for residents. But still possible in the evening. Your aalenaa yoga team from Leipzig!

This such an exquisite dinner! Absolutely wonderful Solyanka (just like my Dad used to cook). Specialty of the place Piccolo grill plate has lecho (so authentic that it reminded me our summer dinner in Western Ukraine). The service is amazing 😍 kind and caring personnel will make sure you are satisfied with your visit! Definitely coming back!

It was my first time here and I am absolutely impressed. It was my first time eating such a juicy sirloin steak. My friend had a fillet steak. It melted like butter in your mouth. Everything was right with the potato with sour cream. The bread with aioli was a delicious side dish. I've never had fried corn like this before and it has become my favorite. I can only recommend the Florida cocktail - extremely fruity and the perfect sweet note. Definitely have Kaiserschmarrn as dessert. The ambience, the cleanliness, the music in the background, the comfort and the atmosphere contributed a lot to the pleasant stay. But the service staff were the cherry on the cake! So respectful, friendly and always smiling! They were happy to accommodate my extra request and met my expectations. Thank you! I can only recommend the restaurant.

Side dishes for the card dishes could be exchanged without any problems. The homemade lemonade was to die for. We recommend. Honestamente nada especial y muy caro para lo que se obtiene. El filete de carne estaba bien, pero no era premium. Aún así, era muy tierno, pero también un poco demasiado frío. Las papas fritas también estaban frías, y muchas de ellas tenían grandes trozos negros y no agradables, que deberían haber sido cortados de las papas. El cordero no estaba tierno, como se describe. El servicio fue muy, muy lento. No volveré para ser honesto.

I've been to the small steakhouse many times over the years, but not recently. Among other things, we celebrated my son (now 20) starting school there. The restaurant is tastefully decorated, and you can also sit nicely in the small beer garden. The service is friendly and experienced, we were served quickly and well. You used to get good quality there for a reasonable price. It's been a while since my last visit. The last time on May 31, 2024 I was pretty disappointed. I was there with my son. He had a rump steak, I had a rib eye steak, both 250g. These cost €34.00 and €32.00 respectively, without any side dishes. I ordered my steak English and it was grilled very briefly, but with far too little heat. It was therefore raw on the inside, slightly cooked on the outside and overall tough. Maybe a rib eye isn't the best steak to eat "English", but a rib eye doesn't have to be tough and can exude roasted aromas if the meat quality and preparation are right. That was not the case in this case. I like grilling steaks myself and can give a little opinion on that. The two of us had the main course with side dishes and two beers each. The bill was over €100.00. Price and performance did not match.

Super lovely, attentive staff. Prices were higher but reasonable for the steaks we had. I can only recommend the sirloin steak. You don't need a fillet. Absolutely great.

I hadn't visited the steakhouse for several years because I didn't really like the quality of the meat. Unfortunately, I have to say that nothing has changed to this day. It's a shame, because the atmosphere is very nice and the friendliness of the staff makes you want to stop by.

Wir haben hier gestern unseren Abschlußabend in Leipzig verbracht und uns einmal durch die Ksrte gefuttert. Wir hatten Rib Eye Steak mit Ofenkartoffel und Maiskolben, Rippchen, Texasburger, Surf and Turf und danach noch Schokoküchlein und Crêpes. Alles war frisch und sehr lecker zubereitet. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und auch der Cocktail war sehr gut. Das Ambiente ist sehr hell, freundlich und angenehm. Wenn wir wieder in Leipzig sind, kommen wir gerne wieder.

My car mechanic's favorite steakhouse - we had to test it. I was surprised by the size, because from the outside you would think it would be bigger. The beer garden is still available in summer. It is very nicely decorated and the service is nice, quick and considerate. Then the food came - simply delicious. The chef knows his craft. All in all a successful evening. We'd love to come back.

A great restaurant with very tasty food. Meat, side dishes and vegetables were cooked to perfection. The wine went very well and the staff was very friendly. There were immediately painting supplies on the table for the youngest child at the table. What more do you want? Definitely very happy to come back!

Immer wieder sehr sehr lecker hier. Vor ein paar Jahren hat man noch gesagt, dass die Preise hier recht gehoben sind, wofür man aber hier auch Qualität bekommt. Inzwischen sind die Preise ja schon fast ganz normal wie in jeden anderen Restaurant, nur das man hier weiß wie gut es schmeckt! Und man wird auch definitiv satt! Ich liebe das Surf and Turf, schade das es die Scampis nicht auch einzeln zu bestellen gibt, die sind ein Traum und schon perfekt vorbereitet zum essen. Ich könnte einen ganzen Teller davon nehmen. :-) Wenn man hier ein Filet medium bestellt, dann ist es auch medium und extrem zart. Davon können sich andere Restaurants eine Scheibe abschneiden, wo man das Fleisch eigentlich zurück gehen lassen müssten. Neben Schaarschmidt für mich mit das beste Restaurant in Leipzig. Im Preis-Leistungsverhältnis würde das Piccolo hier aber vorziehen.
